Snowbelle City

Script soon found himself wandering in the snow aimlessly as he tried to focus on what to do next. The wind was kicking up around him, spraying snow into the air and causing him to squint just to see the path ahead. Most would have turned back and looked for shelter, but not Script. He hardly noticed the snow stinging his eyes as he continued on, lost in his own mind.

Soda and Starlight struggled beside him, their worried gazes locked on Script as the storm gathered strength. Before long a whiteout had consumed them, to the point that neither pokemon could tell if they were even in the city anymore. Still, they followed their trainer loyally, both more worried for him then they were themselves. Script was in no way dressed for a snowstorm, wearing nothing but a pair of loose jeans and a mesh hoodie over a thin t-shirt.

"Script!" Starlight trotted up beside him and nudged his arm a little roughly, almost knocking the boy over in her haste to get his attention.
"Hm?" Script paused, staring at the ponyta for a moment before giggling and patting her on the head gently, apparently too far into his own world to recognize the danger closing in around them. Starlight and Soda looked at each other, at a loss at what to do. What a time for Script to have an episode.

After a moment of hesitation, Script forged ahead into the snow hoping he was headed in the right direction. For a few minutes he feared he had left the city, but then a looming black shadow came into focus against the whiteout, a building. Script picked up his pace, practically running as he jumped a snowbank and found himself back on the main-street, the buildings blocking the worst of the snow now. He turned towards the pokemon center and ran, Soda and Starlight hot on his heels as he burst into the building.

"Help!" Script ran up to the counter and placed the green pokemon on the flat surface, hoping to arceus it wasn't gone already. It was so cold...
The nurse put a hand over her mouth and immediately went into action, scooping up the pokemon and running it to the back for treatment, leaving Script to struggle to a seat to wait. He was shivering now that the adrenaline was gone and soaked to the skin. Luckily, one of the caretakers brought over a thick wool blanket and dd it around the boy, who offered a bright smile as a way of thanks before curling up in the warmth. Hopefully the pokemon would be okay...

Script woke up to pain racing across his shoulder. With a yelp he shot up and threw a hand over his shoulder, shivering as it came away bloody. For a moment he was confused, but then he heard the growling beside him and glanced to the green pokemon, now awake and furious.

For a moment the two stared at eachother, then Soda broke in and started rebuking the little green pokemon, who growled at him in response.
"It's okay, he's probably just scared." Script spoke up, patting Soda's head and carefully nudging him away from the wild pokemon. "It's okay little one~ We're your new family." Script continued on, offering a hand to the pokemon who promptly bit it without hesitation. Script flinched but didn't pull away, instead scratching the pokemon behind the ear even as it bit him harder.
"Shhh, its okay." Script tried to soothe the pokemon, but it seemed too unsettled for such words.

Taking another route, Script pulled out a pokeball and gently touched it to the pokemon who vanished in a flash of red. Too weak to fight it, the ball gave a click and the pokemon was captured almost immediately. They now had a new feisty companion!

Script grabbed a random outfit from the center's lost and found box before taking a quick shower in his room and getting dressed. Feeling refreshed, he gathered his pokemon, including the reluctant Magnus whom he scooped into his arms, before heading downstairs to the lobby. As he made his way outside he struggled to hold onto the feisty cat pokemon in his arms, flinching as the pokemon sank it's teeth into his forearm.
"There there lil one~" Script soothed, stroking Magnus's green fur and trying to ignore the pain from his fangs. "No need to be scared! You're one of us now." He added happily, continuing to move even as the pokemon refused to let go of his forearm.

Soda and Starlight shared a look as they followed, both deciding they weren't fond of the little green cat, or anything that hurt Script for that matter. Still, they knew Script would be mad if they rejected the new pokemon, so they both tried to ignore it's bad manners... for now.

Script grinned as he watched his pokemon play, however he soon noticed something... odd.
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11... 12, 13?" He whispered to himself, realizing there were more pokemon in the war than he had made friends with. Two more, as a matter of fact. Script ed his head to the side and stood, wandering into the war and dodging snowballs as he approached the two stranger pokemon. They were trying to keep up with Script's pokemon, although neither were very suited for tossing snowballs. Still, the sight brought a smile to the boy's face.

"Hello there~" He crouched and grinned at the two pokemon, still clutching Magnus to his chest who in turn hissed at the new pokemon. "Sorry about him, he doesnt trust easily it seems. Are you lost?" Script asked them, looking them over as the two glanced at eachother and shook their heads. "Want to be my friends then?" Script sat in the snow and offered a hand to the nearest pokemon, a puppy-looking one, who sniffed it before giving Script's hand a friendly lick. Script happily hugged the fussy Magnus closer in one arm as he pet the two pokemon and enjoyed the idea of having even more friends.

"If you want to join us, you have to go into a ball first so I can keep you safe." Script explained a little awkwardly, still having a love-hate relationship with pokeballs. He finally let go of Magnus and held out two pokeballs to the pokemon, which looked at each other for a moment before touching the balls and vanishing inside. Afterward, Script immediately released them with a wide smile. He had two new friends!

Script returned all but Magnus, Soda, Sunflower, and the little Ralts back into their pokeballs as he climbed back up the steps that would take him to the pokecenter. His new Ralts had taken to him already, sitting on his shoulder and clinging to him as he moved. Surprisingly, Magnus seemed almost jealous of this and continued to glare at the Ralts the whole trip, despite still hissing at Script every time he dared pet him.

Arriving at the pokecenter, Script got a room and headed upstairs to rest. He released as many of his pokemon as he could in the small space before huddling with everyone under the blankets to warm up. Pretty soon he was drifting off into sleep surrounded by his friends.
