 "A town connecting differences."
Deep in the abundant hillsides that cascade through most of eastern Kalos, Couriway town has been built around the natural waterfalls and springs that flow through the hills, completely in tune with the water. The town is not so much big as it is spread out through the beautiful hillside, lined with simple stone walkways and simple wood and stone buildings, not wanting to take away from the true marvel of the town with the sparkling water that is abundant there. It is common for water type Pokemon to be found here, and some ice types for the climate can still be a bit cold, but as the most inland town in Kalos, it doesn't get too much cold weather despite being at one of the coldest latitudes. Couriway town is humble and modest with a simple layout, no extravagant buildings or tourist spots, only acclaimed for it's beautiful waterfalls which are enough to bring in anyone on the rail that traverses through the regions.

Fortunately they would get a small break in heading towards Couriway Town before moving back towards Anistar and Dendemille Town. While it might be the time of year that those locations weren’t fraught with snow and ice, they were still chilly and easily colder than the rest of the region in comparison. Fortunately Emiri’s flying types were conditioned for those colder temperatures, and even though the baby and Cerian weren’t necessarily conditioned the same way, Kovu’s scales were naturally warm and he was able to breathe fire if necessary. Emiri knew she couldn’t have to worry about any of her Pokemon as they were travelling, so they made their way towards their last few destinations.
Remembering Couriway Town from her travels through the region before, Emiri was always fascinated by the canals and plentiful waterfalls that made for such a beautiful landscape. Couriway was really one of those instances of the people paying as much attention to the beauty of the natural land as they could, and she really did appreciate that. She and Charizard made their descent and landed outside of the Pokemon Center, and with a smile to Nurse Joy she was able to get her next stamp before heading off, smiling at knowing that she was one stamp closer to finishing her booklet entirely. Elfana Aroway Kalos had to be trying to make up for the horrible experience she had with the last few towns. Couriway was gorgeous. She could even forgive how dull the style of the buildings was. There were bound to be a bunch of Water Types living in the area. Yet again she found herself wishing she had more time to explore. She would have loved to see what Pokemon she could find in the town. Elfana ended up spending the night at the Pokemon Center just so she had a little more time to appreciate the scenery. She was reluctant to leave the next morning. One more day couldn't hurt, could it? After much debating with herself she decided to continue on with her trip. She stopped by the counter, collecting her stamp as she had forgotten to do so the day before. There had been too much exploring to do. They had one town left to visit in Kalos before they moved on to Alola. She hoped that it would be every bit as pleasant as the last two towns had been.Kalos

Elfana Aroway Elfana wasn't expecting to see the inside of Couriway Town's Pokemon Center. She had been prepared to walk back and was sort of relieved that she didn't have to. Before she could stand to start the walk back to Anistar, Walter wrapped his arms around her right arm and pulled her back down. He needed a moment to rest but he fully planned on Teleporting them along until they reached North Lumiose. Elfana didn't argue with him. She sat back down and freed Pantalaimon from the jacket he had been bundled up in. The jacket was placed in her bag from there. She wasn't going to need it. Since she had nothing else to do, she started looking into boats that would take them to Malie City. She had to figure out her route through Alola from there. "This is going to be a pain." She muttered to herself. The other regions had been pretty straight forward. Alola was going to be all over the place. She was still trying to figure out her route when they were Teleported a second time.Alola

It was a Region where many odd things had happened to her and she was ready to move on with the next leg of this challenge to see and explore the world. The Turtonators kept going back and forth with Belle, belching fire and smog at her while she showered them with kicks and leaves. The berry queen was exhausted by the time she had managed to kick down two of them. "Whoa, whoa. OK! Let's back up! How about--oh! You!" He swiped Spike's ball next, throwing out the big spider with a gleeful cackle. Belle staggered back and let Spike have all the attention taking care of what she couldn't. "That was a good move. Know your limits. You aren't helping anybody by trying to do it all by yourself." Belle stared sidelong at Vee who was focused on watching Spike skitter around the field. He noticed quickly how little the Ember did to him, but that didn't make him OK with getting blasted by fire! Liz's Tsareena sat with her trainer, taking deep breaths so she didn't attack anyone else. She had hurt herself battling. Vee was right, even if he was annoying about being right. Vee cried out with delight as Spike drained the last of the Turtonators. It slumped down to its knees, then fell forward. Liz surprised everyone when she threw a Pokeball at it. Belle had assumed she wasn't really paying attention given the lack of shouting and aggression that usually accompanied battles. "I happen to like the look of that guy." The redhead stated matteroffactly to her team. Belle was still just staring, Spike was unsure if he'd done something to deserve his trainer's ire and decided to remain quiet.

After some effort to regain her Pokeballs and some of her stuff that had floated away, Liz made her way to the Pokemon Center with Linnette flying behind her with the egg clutched in her claws. Liz got her team sorted out, depositing most of her new Pokemon except the Growlithe. While resting that night Charmander hatched from its egg (not the Bad Egg). Liz woke up to find the flame lizard curled up against her for warmth with its burning tail stuck out to avoid igniting the bed. She couldn't help smiling upon discovering that she had another new Pokemon.

"YES!" Cried the Sprite. Each time the cracks grew, noise from inside indicated that the harm Vee believed he had caused was imagined.
"Vee. Have you never hatched an egg?" Vee stared at her, snapped out of his panic by such an odd question. "Well, no...Not for a LONG TI--EEK!" Vee launched the egg up and Liz managed to catch it in one arm. Charmander yelped and scratched the woman's bare arm trying to escape the heavy object. "Ow-OUCH! Kal--Vee! Will you take her?" Twice she had been torn up in as many days. Maybe she should be less trusting with sharp Pokemon. A Magby popped out and Liz stared at the little duck head that was sticking up from the cracked shell. "Uhh...W-welcome. I guess. Ma's gonna be excited to meet you." She wanted to be more excited, but she had someplace to be. And she had just hatched the Charmander last night. This was shaping up to be a confusing leg of her adventure. Marcellus would be interested to know things were happening in Kalos, she was sure. And he would be impressed to hear she had done something about the problem! For now, Magby was gently tapped with a Pokeball and sent away to Storage through her Pokedex. The invitation had mentioned that she couldn't bring more than a legal standard team, so she had to keep her count to Six...for now.

 Script left the snow behind him and entered into the beautiful country-side that was Couriway Town with a smile on his face. The waterfalls were gorgeous! So far, this was one of his favorite places in his journey. He snuggled the growling Magnus closer and picked up his pace, wandering the area in search of his new friend. He just knew the pokemon was here, but after a few hours Script plopped down on one of the bridges and let out a sigh. Was he wrong?
"Goo?" Script blinked at the voice and looked up to see a stunningly colorful pokemon standing next to him, it's face showing concern as it looked down at him.
"Oh, hello!" Script got to his feet and smiled at the pokemon, which looked like a person covered in goo almost. It was pretty cute and Script immediately loved it. Perhaps this was the pokemon he had come here to meet?
"Goo, Goodra?" The Goodra tilted it's head to the side and seemed to smile at him kindly, however Script couldn't understand what it was saying. He released Starlight and gestured for the bright pokemon to speak again, which it did.
"She's asking if you're okay." Starlight translated, a little jealous of the other pokemon's beauty. As far as she was concerned she was the prettiest of Script's pokemon, but if he caught this thing... well, she'd have competition. Still, she wasn't one to sabotage her master over something so vain, so she asked the pokemon were it's trainer was and sighed as the Goodra merely stated it didn't have one.
"She's wild." She stated bluntly, to which Script brightened.
"Oh! Do you want to join us? Please! You're so pretty you'd really light up the stage!" Script gushed and moved closer to the pokemon, which seemed almost as enthused as the boy at the idea. The Goodra seemed to think for a moment and glanced at the town around them a little sadly before smiling at the boy and giving a nod. He had found the pokemon he was looking for!
Without waiting for the boy, the Goodra poked one of the pokeballs around Script's belt and vanished inside in a flash of red, a click audible a second later. Then, in another flash the Goodra was back standing beside them.
"Goo! Goo!" Script smiled at her excited tone and grinned. Once again he had to think of new names for his three newest pokemon, and after he had decided on them, he headed onward to Anistar city. Once again following his guts, this time with a new friend beside him.
