The cave was much less daunting than he thought it would be, in fact, he could see straight through to the other side. The cave was nothing more than a large T intersection. It seemed the diverging path was blocked by large rocks so that part would be unpassable regardless. But the people traveling through seemed to be nice enough, no hoodlums in the cave. The jaunt through the tunnel was fairly short and uneventful. He could see the end in sight, and as he let his guard down a wild pokemon yelled and jumped up.. One he didn’t recognize. His pokedex scanned it as a Geodude, a rock/ground type who didn’t like being stepped on, but who did? Fair enough, thought Kenji, as he sent out Riolu to counter the pokemon. {Wild Geodude}

As usual he hit with a quick attack, being able to take the initiative either way was a strategy that Kenji was quite enjoying and using to full effect. Even though it wasn’t very damaging to the rock type he certainly would be able to keep it up if he kept going with them. Senshi was fast, not quite as quick as Kiryu but the two of them will no doubt be a beast duo as they grow. He knew that Riolu would eventually evolve into Lucario, an insanely powerful fighting/steel type. The battle was over fairly quickly. Riolu roared in victory and Kenji pumped his fist along with Sen.
