 Surrounded by darkness again, there is nothing in this environment except for the reaches of a hallway that twist and turn into another corner or two on either side. This hallway is lined with old metallic floors and walls, with low ceilings that create a boxed-in and almost claustrophobic feeling. As you begin to move through the narrow passageways, the oppressive darkness and lack of light make it impossible to know if the corridors are leading anywhere or simply going in endless circles. Rarely a door may be found entering it would only find more abandon and rot. Maybe opening into more hallways, maybe a dead end into a room. The rank smell of rot and rust pervades the air, mingling with a sickening stench that hints at decay and abandonment. The floors and walls are almost entirely covered in mold, mildew, and rust, with patches of green and brown marring the surfaces. The atmosphere is thick and heavy, making each breath feel like inhaling poison, and the absence of any real ventilation or fresh air adds to the suffocating sensation. The toxic environment becomes more evident with each step, as a cough here and another cough there suggest that the molds and toxins are slowly eating away at anything not accustomed to such harsh conditions. The sense of danger is palpable, and it's clear that spending too much time here would be perilous. The eerie silence, broken only by the occasional drip of water or the creak of metal, heightens the sense of isolation and foreboding. This is a place where time has stood still, where the walls seem to close in with every passing moment, and where the only escape lies in finding a way out before the darkness and decay claim you as their own. Sometimes and even stronger scent of who knows what will waft through the air, only to be diminished when rounding another corner, but the feeling of being watched and being followed can't be helped. Everything is silent here until the faint sound of something oozing from the walls can be heard, and a giant mass of purple gunk starts to seep onto the floor, revealing a giant Muk that calls this place home, and it does not like any intruders messing up it's perfectly toxic environment. Julian walked through the doorway, finding himself suddenly in some strange, dimly lit scene out of a horror movie. The hallways that stretched on reminded him of an abandoned asylum he'd seen while watching a horror movie with his parents one time. He coughed, realizing how little air there was here. Just like with the dry desert, Julian knew he would have to find his way out of here quickly. So he started walking. A turn here, another there, he honestly had no idea how he was going to navigate this place, or even how big it really was. He pulled his shirt up to cover his mouth and nose again, the walls didn't look healthy and he didn't trust the place.
Rounding yet another corner that felt identical to every other, Julian spotted a Pokemon walking up ahead of them. It hadn't seen them, which gave them the perfect opportunity for a surprise attack. He tossed his Pokeball out, and Noctowl appeared. He used Hypnosis; just as Croagunk turned around he was hit and struck unconscious. A Psychic attack hit him, and he was out for the count. Noctowl had done well, Julian didn't actually realize that it had a x4 effectiveness, as it wasn't a Pokemon he was familiar with. "Didn't know what hit 'em." Julian was suddenly struck dumb; what was that? It was so strange, because naturally he couldn't hear. He looked over at Noctowl.
Then he remembered something he'd learned once; Pokemon could sometimes communicated through the move Psychic, and Julian had recently taught him the very move. So if he could hear Noctowl's thoughts... "Hello?" Julian thought, and Noctowl turned around looking just as confused. "I thought that might work." He grinned. "We can talk because you learned Psychic." He explained. The owl looked thrilled, if not still a bit confused.

The next wild Pokemon they encountered, Julian actually did know. Everyone should know who Nidoran is. Naturally not everyone would, being from different Regions, but that's just sort of how he thought about it. The Nidoran was female, being light blue as opposed to purple. It would evolve into Nidoqueen. Julian was more fond of Nidoking, however, and decided against catching the female. "Alright, let's do this. Hit her with Psychic." It was a semi-new experience for him, being able to battle naturally and give commands. He had been able to speak and hear in that Psychic realm, but after leaving he never imagined he'd get the chance to communicate with such ease. Hell, this seemed almost easier.
Noctowl most likely would have used Hypnosis first, but Julian knew that with that kind of power, there was no need. So, he opted for the direct attack. Noctowl nodded, turning his head around and using Psychic. Nidoran was knocked out before knowing she was under attack as well. That felt like power. "That's what I'm talking about, you've gotten so much stronger since I caught you. If we keep this up, our team will be unstoppable." He was growing a bit y now, but that was understandable. His entire life people have been treating him differently, as if they had to walk on eggshells around him. He could turn around and show the world that he was strong enough to beat anyone, that he has what it takes to be just as good as them. That was his dream.
"I will keep getting stronger, and we will beat anyone that stands in our way." Noctowl replied with a nod. He was growing more and more confident with his newfound power as well.

Hearing the commotion of battle, a few other Pokemon decided to investigate. One of them, the ringleader of the bunch, looked over at Seviper and nodded. "Stop them." It turned to another Pokemon and thought carefully. It didn't like dealing with their Leader, but in this scenario there didn't seem to be a whole lot of options. "You, go get The Boss." And there, the second-in-command waited and watched as Seviper jumped out at them, aiming to bite the Human's throat. It was suddenly stopped dead in it's tracks, floating in mid-air, fangs a few inches away from getting the Trainer and ending his life. He was suddenly forced up, slamming him into the ceiling. This knocked him out, so he didn't feel a thing when he was sent flying back down the hallway.
"Thank you..." Julian communicated telepathically to Noctowl, rubbing his neck which had almost become snake-chow. "You just saved my life." Noctowl smiled and nodded his head, as if to say 'don't mention it'. They started walking back down the hallway, only to come face-to-face with the second in command himself. The Pokemon stepped out of the shadows and laughed menacingly.

"You all, stay right where you are if you want to live." He didn't intend on letting them live either way. The Second-in-Command, Trubbish, knew he had to stall for time while they waited for The Boss. "You've gone far enough, so prepare to be beaten!" He played confident well.
Julian looked at Noctowl in confusion. "He's demanding we stop, or he'll kill us." Noctowl translated. "I'm bored now." His eyes lit up as he used Psychic and knocked Trubbish out in one single hit. They started to walk away when they were suddenly accosted by the most foul odor they've ever experienced. Julian, through sheer force of will alone, managed not to vomit. The scene really did turn into a horror movie though, when the walls began to ooze.

Julian and Noctowl tried to run for it, but the walls oozed faster, dripping to a floor. All the ooze gathered together, as if alive, and formed a Muk. The smell was so, so bad and Julian didn't know what to do. It had cut off their path. "You don't belong here. Time to die." Was all the Muk spoke before attacking. Julian sent out Phanpy hoping to catch the enemy off guard. Phanpy curled up into a little ball, using Rollout. He was cut off, however, and knocked off course by Muk's powerful odor.
Muk shot a Shadow Ball at Phanpy, knocking the small elephant over. While Phanpy was trying to get back on his feet, Muk launched a Gunk Shot attack and defeated the tiny elephant without taking any damage. "Well... that didn't work." Julian thought.
"I'll deal with this, then." Noctowl stepped into battle. He used Hypnosis, but not before Muk could fire off a Shadow Ball attack. Both attacks hit and worked like a charm for their respective user; injuring Noctowl and putting Muk to sleep. Not giving Muk the chance to wake up and do the same thing to Noctowl as he did to Phanpy, Noctowl fired off repeated Psychic attacks. Muk soaked back into the walls, retreating but leaving behind some items and a shimmering doorway.
"That was too close." Julian thought as he walked over and collected the items. Recalling Phanpy, Noctowl and Julian entered the next portal not knowing where they would end up.

Julian Malcolm
Finally they were back on the floor that Julian wanted to be on. He knew to cover his nose and mouth, not to inhale any of the possibly toxic molds on the walls. He also recalled all of his Pokemon just to be safe. When he was confronted by an awful smelling Pokemon, Julian knew it had to be a Poison-Type just like the Muk that guards this place. Being Poison-Type, the Trainer knew how best to counter it and so he sent out Noctowl. The owl reacted quickly and dangerously with a Psychic attack. The skunk didn't stand a chance, and Julian hurried past it with Noctowl flying after him.

Next he encountered a strange bug Pokemon he had never seen. If it were on this floor, it had to be at least partially Poison-Type, and he wanted to catch it. Maybe it turned into some sort of butterfly like Caterpie did, or into a bee like Weedle. Noctowl used Psychic and knocked it out. Then Julian threw out a Pokeball and captured the bug inside of it. Julian was surprised, and jumped a little when a purple scorpion-like Pokemon scuttled across his path. Noctowl reacted to protect Julian, using Psychic before it could escape. After all if it got away now, it could come back and sting Julian. That was the last thing that Noctowl would allow. In it's unconscious state, Julian used the opportunity to escape.

The team was ready for an attack from anything that would come their way. As they walked, Delphine began to hear a quiet voice. She almost thought it was her imagination, but after hearing the little sound a few more times, she looked around with her brows frowned as she tried to find the location. " Okay, does anyone else hear that?" She asked slowing down. The group slowed with her as they looked to her, no one else having heard anything. " No, I didn't hear anything."  Pokemon Encounter: 49/--Trainer Battle: 100/25Moving: --/3 -> Item Posting: (Moon Stone) 20/20Where: Hell if I know??Company: Loki and CalciferMood: Pissed off, confused, angry, frustrated, vengefulThinking: Who the hell does this 'tower master' think they are?Wearing: --Out of Ball: Loki, CalciferOOC:Black Flute Activated: Lv. 32 Nidoran (M); Rainbow Spray used Almost immediately upon stepping through the door Demeter wished that she was still among the smell of baby slobber and powder as they stepped into the very dim environment past the doorway. She coughed and coughed and couldn't help her coughing as she realized the air in where ever they were was completely and utterly rotten. She couldn't tell if it was from gases, or from the mold that she could just barely see covering the walls, but knew that fire plus gas was not a chance she wanted to take, returning the Cyndaquil to it's Pokeball for now, knowing that Rhydon would have to take the lead in a battle against a poison type. She was left with Loki and Calcifer and Rhydon, only one of whom was completely homed by this environment.
"Wow, someone really let this place go," Calcifer stated, looking up to the ceiling where light panels were, but the mold and muk was so thick that it almost blacked them out entirely, leaving just enough to barely see the corner of a turn down the way.
"We have to get out of here, Loki and I won't last for long Calcifer," Demeter coughed, unable to say anything more about his idiotic commentary.
"Right, okay, let's just go this way," Calcifer spoke with a small bit of urgency, lifting from the ground as he started to lead the way around the first corner. Demeter walked with Loki beside her, trying to keep her breathing steady and the sleeve of her shirt up over her mouth and nose, anything to try and keep the toxic fumes from getting to her too fast. Loki too walked carefully beside her, his muzzle masked in the fur of his elbow, trying to stave off the light headed feeling that had already started coming to him.
A few minutes in and Loki and Demeter could already feel the fumes getting to them, the lack of fresh air making them light headed. Demeter was doing her best trying to stay focused, walking down another corridor with Calcifer in the lead and Rhydon close behind, but their path was blocked by what Demter could have sworn was a red Nidoran, glaring them down as they rounded a corner.
"Right. The fumes are starting to get worse, that Nidoran is red. We need to get out of here," Loki coughed through his fangs, knowing now that if he was seeing things, hallucinating even, then their chances of survival were growing even slimmer.
"No, come on Loki. It actually is red, you're fine," Calcifer commented, rolling his eyes at Loki's slight panic, but at just the mere confirmation, the poison type had Demeter's interest. Just because she was fighting for her life didn't mean that she didn't have a life to get back to, one that that Nidoran might be able to boost with a pretty penny.
"Rhydon, get it," Demeter commanded, sending the rhino after a nice sum of money, and the ground type followed the command from the authority Demeter had.
"Are you quite serious? We don't have time for this," Loki hissed as the Nidoran attacked with it's claws first, but Rhydon shot it clear into the wall with his focus blast, but the little thing didn't give up as it lunged with another slash of it's claws. Rhydon sent it back into the wall again, but it only persisted, if weaker this time, scratching again at Rhydon's rocky armor, but with one last focus blast the rabbit was out for the count, and Demeter handed Calcifer a Pokeball.
"Not even two minutes, we'll be able to find the challenge here," Demeter coughed as Calcifer threw the Pokeball at the fainted Nidoran.
Still walking through the corridors now, and Loki and Demeter were really starting to feel the effects of the lack of oxygen now, their heads pounding and breath getting shorter. The toxic fumes were coming and going in waves it seemed, until Calcifer stopped them in their walking as he watched the walls begin to ooze out a thick purple slime. The slime began to amass, and take shape, until the entire hallway was flooded by a giant Muk that came to take the challenge.
Rhydon took the challenge as planned, and as the rhino was fending off the poison type Calcifer led Demeter and Loki who were starting to get cloudy vision down a corridor through the darkness, hoping that they were out of this toxic place. Delphine waved her stick at the pile of goo as it began to gurgle and grunt, as it grabbed at the two. As she did, the Grimer pilled from the wall, and flew down the hall, and stuck against the far wall, and it slowly began to slide down to the ground. Apollo continued to sprint out of the She-Hulk's nursery. He regretted the fact that the Blissey was so high strung, and aggressive... He could have done with a break, and played with the puppies, and babies a bit longer. He thought it was the least the master or whoever could do since they made it this far. But that was too much to ask, especially since this was suppose to be challenging them, not relaxing them. And Apollo was getting pushed too his limit. He was so thankful that Thomas and Kira was around. He ran through the portal, that was in the form of a door with Teddy in his arms, and Squirtle toddling behind him as fast as he could. Apollo continued into the dark hallway and moved so Thomas and Kira wouldn't mow him down. Apollo tried to take a deep breath to catch up after running, but was met with such a fowl stench and shallow air, he let out an immediate cough. He pulled one of his armed over his nose and mouth as he looked around at the dimly lit hallway. Teddy buried his face into Apollo's chest in an effort to be rid of the nasty smell, and Apollo turned back. "Lets go back, this is worse!" Apollo coughed, but Anthony appeared next to him and looked around the area. "Kira don't touch anything.. This place looks like it's been rotting for decades. " Apollo explained, though he was sure she knew not to touch the mold and rust covered walls and doors.

Kira had realized that Thomas was still beneath a crib, so when the battle was over she had to push it off and wake him. Apparently the blow had knocked him out. The good news was - it didn't take much to wake him up so they could all still make it through the portal and into the next floor. On the other side of the portal, Kira wasn't quite sure at first why Apollo was covering his mouth and nose with his arm. The reason became quite clear however, and she clamped her hand over her nose, shutting it off from the horrid stench. Lucy refused to be sent back into her Pokeball, she argued that if something attacked she would need to remain out here to defend the Trainer. Charmeleon agreed, but Dratini wanted out of there as quickly as possible. She wasn't as worried about getting sick as the others, she just saw another challenge with more adventure and tougher terrain with tougher enemies to put down.

The other male Trainer blinked a couple times, being roused from his slumber by the young girl named Kira. It took a moment for him to realize exactly where he was, but it all came crashing back at once. His eyes went wide and he jumped up to his feet - a bad idea, because he went light-headed and nearly blacked out again. Kira lead him, much too quickly, through the portal and into the next danger. What they would find next, he had absolutely no idea. Thomas pulled his shirt up over his nose and recalled all of his Pokemon. The last thing he needed was for them to all get poisoned by the mold. He wished he had a nice safe Pokeball to retreat to, but he was stuck out here in the dangerous plague-zone. "What the hell, Man..." He muttered to no one in particular, already hating this floor beyond measure. "This isn't a graveyard so I don't think we have much to be worried about... but my money is on Poison-Type Pokemon.

Apollo watched Kira return some of her Pokemon, and Thomas do the same. He assumed that would be the right thing, and returned Squirtle. He didn't return Anthony because...well... He was already dead. Apollo never even considered returning Teddy. He never returned the bear, it just was something he didn't do. The only time Teddy spends time in his ball is if he deserves a time out for a tantrum or if he destroyed something with his honey, but that was really rare. But Teddy let out a little cough as Thomas began to talk from under his shirt. "I think we have a lot to worry about in this place..." Apollo chimed in, getting back into the mind set of it being a life or death situation. On the floor before, it was cute and innocent, there was no apparent danger, and Apollo was willing to accept it. Just like on the third floor with the temple. He was willing to accept the false beauties. But this, this was in his face, and was already making him sick. He was glad he was a dancer, and had good lungs, or he knew this would have been difficult. "It might turn into a grave yard if we don't get moving." Anthony explained. Apollo nodded and began to walk. As he lead the group, there was the faint sound of scratching on the walls. Apollo stopped and looked around, trying to locate the source of the sound. He stood silently for a moment before looking up too the ceiling, just in time for the it give in and the source to fall through and in front of Apollo. Apollo jumped back, and when he saw what it was, he let out a scream, that sounded like it should not come from a grown man like himself, and he began jumping, trying to avoid being near the bug. "Kill it! Kill it!" He shrieked. But Anthony used Psychic and sent the bug flying backwards down the corridor. After the bug was gone, Apollo was sent into a fit of coughing, due to inhaling so much of the toxins.

Still sort of recovering from the full impact of a well-built crib, Thomas looked around the plague-filled, toxic hallway they were in. It was sort of like a nightmare, it just kept going and going, the flickering lights overhead were an ominous presence that cast strange shadows about. A wild Pokemon had shown itself not only to Apollo - who Thomas got a good laugh at when he screamed like a little girl - but a Stunky engaged Thomas into battle. He sent out Metagross, who was too large for the hallway. His arms had gone through the walls, and the whole building began shaking threateningly. It stopped however, and the frozen Pokemon didn't move; or more accurately couldn't move around. The wild Pokemon attacked, but it really only succeeded in scratching away the ice enough so that Metagross could flex it's metallic arms and break free from his icy prison. He used Confusion to make the Stunky confused, then when it was stumbling around aimlessly he struck with a Takedown attack with extreme force. Thomas had simply wanted Metagross to no longer be frozen, he hadn't thought about the giant's size in the tiny hallway. He healed it with some Potions, and then recalled him back into the Pokeball. Kira yelled out in surprise as the building began to shake, and had to brush the nasty crap from the ceiling and walls out of her hair and clothes. There was no way she wasn't getting out of this with at least a cold... Still, she was glad her burn was wrapped up because that would have, without a doubt, gotten infected from whatever poisons this place had hidden in it's nooks and crannies. Apparently disturbing the toxin-ridden walls was enough to upset the resident Guardian, because an overwhelming stench hit them all at once, nearly making the kid pass out. The walls, or at least the portions without giant holes in them, began to ooze. Purple slime came pouring out of the holes made by Metagross' arms, it all congealed into one location in the middle of the floor. The slime became a Pokemon that stretched, oozing, wall to wall and attacked! It missed both Kira and her Pokemon, so Charmeleon didn't hesitate to try and launch a massive burst of fire down the same hallway and towards the Muk trying to keep it at a distance just like he had with the other Guardians, giving the others a chance to attack from a distance. TL;DR

In his coughing fit, Apollo missed the Stunky walking into view and attacking. Thomas let out his Mega Metagross and it all suddenly got Very crowded in the tiny hallways. Apollo looked up at the massive figure in front of them, and after it seemed that the Metagross just let the thing scratch it a few times, it attacked back. The Metagross grabbed the walls and began to shake and vibrate them, causing the entire hallway system to start shuttering. Apollo stumbled backwards as the mold, dust, and rot began to fall. "Stop! The whole building is gonna come down!" Apollo cried out, and continued into another fit of coughing as he began to find it harder and harder to breath in the shallow air. Anthony lowered and looked to Apollo and Teddy, who both had started struggle to breath, and grow light headed. What made it worse was a horrible stench that punched him in the face. It was enough to make him cough harder to the point where he was gagging. Apollo looked up and spotted a mass of goo start to pour from the walls, out of the holes the Metagross caused. Apollo reached into his Pack, holding his breath as he did, thus weakening his state, and pulled out a Pokeball, and released Pikachu, being the first ball he grabbed. Pikachu looked around and stumbled away from the stench that the floor was bearing, and let out a cry as he held his nose. Before he could really focus on what really was the enemy, with everything going on. The large Metagross, the stench, the goo, He found himself getting hit with a wall of muk, and slammed into the wall, getting stuck to it with the remaining goo. Pikachu struggled to try and get himself free from the wall, but was almost powerless. Apollo was huffing as the area ignited and fire blasted at the muk, almost as if it were more then usual, which it was. Apollo was sure that the toxins and fumes were aiding in Charmeleons flares. "You go girl!" Apollo called out as he coughed a few more times and feel to his knees, growing woozy and weak from the lack of oxygen and the toxins.

Thomas sent out Ralts, but picked her up to keep her off the toxic field. The attack hit Pikachu, but more importantly it missed them. Waiting for the fire to pass, Ralts' eyes began to glow bright. It not only dealt serious damage, but it confused Muk and made it hurt itself even more. "That's it, everyone hit it hard before it can attack again!" He shouted to the other members of the rag-tag group of Trainers. If they could defeat Muk before it has the chance to fight back, then they could make it out of this floor without dying.

Kira watched Ralts, Charmeleon, and Pikachu face up against this threat that was Muk. When Muk did more damage to itself than all of them had together, she had to think about just how much a lucky break they had all been given. She wasn't going to let Muk hurt them any more, and clearly Charmeleon was thinking along the same lines because another Fire Blast lit up the hallway with a brilliant fire fueled again by the toxins and spores in the air. The way Muk was looking now, they were on the final stretch of their assault and it would only be a matter of one or two more attacks before Muk was left beaten and unable to battle any longer. TL;DR

Apollo could only watch from his knees as he struggled to breath, and Teddy struggled to stay awake. Lady was lucky enough to confuse the pile of goo, while Charmeleon continued to blast it with her empowered fire. He was glad his team mates were able to hold up in the toxic environment, while he was starting to fail, though he was breathing more in because of his out bursts earlier. Apollo leaned forward, and was on his hands and knees, at least on one hand, still cradling Teddy. He was struggling to stay awake. He looked up and watched Pikachu struggle to pull himself free from the wall, but was sick from still being coated in the poisonous goo. "Lets help them out, give it everything you got." Apollo called out the best he could as he struggled to breath. Pikachu moved forward, his paws sticking to the floor a bit, and charged for a moment, and let loose a massive bolt of lightning that cracked across the area and blew up against the pile of goo in a loud 'Bang!'

Pikacu, slowed by the poisonous slime of Muk, sent pure electricity crashing down on the enemy. Thomas wasn't sure, but Muk looked shaken. If one more attack could be enough to finish this battle quickly, then he had to take the chance. "Lady..." He began, glaring at the toxic Muk. "Use Confusion one more time." Ralts' eyes began to glow again, and the psychic attack was clearly hurting Muk more than it could take. It sank in on itself, vanishing into the cracks of the floor and walls, leaving behind a handful of strange and potentially untrustworthy items. Thomas hastily collected the items, tossing them all in his bag to be divided later, and helped Apollo up. He wrapped one of Apollo's arms around his shoulders, leading the nearly unconscious male through the recently opened portal. TL;DR
