Double Battles have been extended to end on September 4th at 11:59 pm. All of the below still applies.
Be ready out there trainers! The Pokemon are being reported to be working together almost and are attacking in pairs, so make sure you always have two Pokemon out to take on a battle!
-For the next week, ending on August 27th at 11:59 pm, double battles can be encountered on the reserve
-Double battles are optional, you do not have to encounter a double battle if you do not want
-If you want to encounter a double battle, you will roll for two species of Pokemon per encounter
-Double battles will only cost 3 encounter posts as it will be treated as one encounter with two Pokemon
-You will roll for two separate Pokemon species and two separate levels, the Pokemon will not be the same species nor the same level
-Speed still applies to all double battles, the battle order will go in order of level
-If you want to capture a Pokemon in a double battle, you must defeat the other Pokemon in the battle, you can only capture one
-The wild Pokemon exp remains the same for each defeated Pokemon
-To determine rewarded exp, add the two exp amounts from each Pokemon together and divide by two, that is the amount each of your Pokemon will receive for winning the battle
-If you wish to attempt shiny appearances, there is a chance for both Pokemon to appear shiny
