There was no other option in Emiri's mind that involved the egg, she knew that they needed to set out now and make sure the mother could be found and reunited with her egg. She couldn't be more proud of Kovu for what he did to try and keep it safe, and now it was up to all of them to help him finish what he started, just like a team.
"Yeah, yeah we'll all help, what kind of Pokemon was the mother so we know what we're looking for," Nimbus asked eagerly, happy to be a part of something like this to help reunite a mother and her egg, something that was bigger than himself, something that would change a life.
"Do you know what the mother looked like," Emiri asked Kovu, knowing that he would be able to give attributes of the Pokemon and she might be able to piece them together. Kovu nodded as he thought for a moment on the first few attributes he wanted to describe, looking to his side and shifting a wing.
"So she has wings? Does she have scales like you," Emiri asked, starting to go through all of the flying type Pokemon that she knew, and Kovu shook his head no at the answer of scales, which means she had feathers.
"So she had feathers, she was a bird like Lynno," Emiri confirmed, but Kovu shook his head no at Emiri's confirmation.
Moving through the fields still, Lynno and Flix were taking on the battles that they could find when they were challenged by a pair of Pokemon, a Chikorita and a Trubbish challenged them and the two flying Pokemon accepted.

Having already started to narrow things down, Emiri knew there were only so many Pokemon that had wings, and so many Pokemon that could fly, so she was certain if she asked the right questions she would be able to figure out what Pokemon Kovu had encountered. Sure, she knew now that there were many more Pokemon that she didn't know about after having met the trainer from the Alola Islands and even meeting Nimbus whom sat beside her still, but she was still fairly confident in her abilities to know the different Pokemon of the world, though Kovu denied her confirmation of the Pokemon being of a bird species and she was at a loss. Any Pokemon that she knew of that had wings had either feathers or scales, it was either a bird or a dragon with a few miscellanious winged Pokemon out there. The only Pokemon that she could recall was the winged wolf that a trainer she knew a long time ago had, it had fur but feathered wings.
"Was it the red Pokemon with white feathered wings that we saw a few times with one of the other trainers we fought with in Mahogany Town," Emiri asked, certain that had to be it now, but as Kovu tried to recall the Pokemon, he shook his head no again.
There was another Trubbish that had caught Lynno in a battle when they had defeated what seemed to be its younger sibling, but it had help as a Froakie joined the battle to take on Flix, and the dragon jumped into the battle gladly, always happy to get the practice.

Skylar after healing his Pokemon headed back into the Reserve where he was looking for Rhienne. Upon spotting her, they approached a nearby watering hole where a Roselia and a Dragonair appeared to be fighting one another until the boy came into their area, they then got ready to attack for him coming onto their land. Skylar took a couple steps back before throwing two poke balls out. Arcanine and Amaura came out to fight. The battle was intense where the Arcanine slowly got used to its trainer but wasn't completely listening to him. The Amaura was able to get a single attack off before it was targeted and taken down. Skylar sent Ponyta out to help Arcanine. As Arcanine and Ponyta pretty much team up on the Roselia. Dragonair started to attack at arcanine and slowly lowers its health. The duo took down the Arcanine which was Skylars strongest pokemon. Without the Arcanine Skylar wouldn't last long. He Sent Espeon out but as it got ready to attack it was knocked out cold. Skylar used a revive on the Arcanine hoping to hold off so they can take the Pokemon down. As much as Arcanine wanted revenge it was too late. Ponyta was able to finish the job. Now the two pokemon combo up a Extremespeed and Body Slam to knock the Dragon type back. Thats when Skylar stepped up and threw the Pokeball at Dragonair who simply swatted it away with its tail. Sitting there with Kovu on the ground, the egg set gently in the grass beside him, Emiri could hardly fathom what kind of Pokemon it was that Kovu had seen out in the reserve, the mother of the egg that he had saved. There were only so many Pokemon that she could fathom that had wings, and feathers no less, but the one Pokemon that she knew that had fur and feathered wings was the winged wolf she had seen so long ago, that was the only Pokemon she could imagine. She knew though despite this that there were Pokemon out there that she had never seen before and therefore wouldnt' be able to recall, but at that point, if it was a Pokemon she or her Pokemon had never seen before, how was she supposed to know what to look for?
"Hey, Kovu, she still had fur right? And feathers for wings like you said though," Nimbus asked as he too tried to help the situation. He might not know near as much as Emiri might about the Pokemon of the world, he wasan't as well traveled as this group of Pokemon he could tell, but he was still wanting to help, and by asking the right questions they would still know what the Pokemon looked like. Kovu looked to the Raichu at his question and nodded his head, confirming that the Pokemon in question had fur and feathered wings.
"Okay, what color was her fur, if it wasn't red like Emiri asked," he questioned the dragon, and Kovu's eyes lit up just slightly as he looked at Nimbus intently, and pointed a claw at his body. Nimbus looked down at himself and ran his paws over his fur, looking back to Kovu who was still pointing at him intently.
"White? She had white fur," he confirmed, and Kovu nodded in response.
Lynno and Flix were moving about the fields, coming closer to Emiri and the rest of their Pokemon, mostly in hopes that Lynno would be able to drop the young dragon if he got distracted when a Pichu and a Cutiefly challenged the two to a battle.

By now Emiri couldn't fathom what Pokemon it was that Kovu had run into in the fields of the reserve, and as Emiri took a glance at the egg that rested on the ground beside them, she couldn't help but be slightly curious. Not that she considered herself an expert by any means, she was well aware that there were still things in the world that she didn't know about and things she had yet to see, but to know that there in that egg was a Pokemon she had never seen before was rather daunting to her. It was a flying pokemon no less, something that she couldn't help but be interested in, and she now wanted to find the mother even moreso out of sheer curiosity to see what kind of species this was.
"A white furred Pokemon with feathered wings, that's what we're looking for," Emiri confirmed with Kovu as he looked at her. She had to admit, despite not knowing specifically what species they were looking for, it couldn't be hard to find such an unusual looking Pokemon out in the fields. White fur wasn't made for camoflauge at all, and with wings she could be in the air anywhere around them which would make her easier to spot.
"I think we can find her, she has to be somewhere out there, right," Nimbus asked, looking from Emiri back to Kovu, but Kovu's eyes grew dark and his ears fell as he thought about that Aerodactyl, and what it might have done to her when she told him to run. Emiri could feel his sorrow then as he lowered his head, and she reached out a small hand to touch his muzzle.
"Hey, if she's out there, we'll find her. And if she needs help, we'll help her," Emiri tried to console as she spoke softly to the black dragon.
"We can't waste time though, she might need our help so we have to find her," she said, and she gained Kovu's attention then as he looked up to her.
Flix was following Lynno still as they moved through the reserve getting closer still back towards where Emiri and their other teammates were when they were challenged by a Meditite and a Bonsly.

Moving through the air, Flix and Lynno were stopped by a Persian that roared and began to chase them from the ground, and the two flying types took the lion for its challenge, and a small Ducklett too that came in for the battle.
Standing with Kovu now on the grass, Emiri gingerly took the egg into her hands as she held it close to her body. She hadn't had an egg in such a long time, not since she had left her ranch in Pallet Town. She knew how to care for eggs and knew how to care for newborn Pokemon, but it had been so long, and they were in no place to have a newborn with them on their travels... Emiri shook her head, knowing that she couldn't possibly think of taking the egg with her, they were going to find the mother and bring her baby back to her, she wasn't going to take this egg and put it in danger too. She was still concerned with Nimbus coming with her and her Pokemon when they left the reserve, but he was adamant, and she didn't think she could really convince him otherwise. Emiri raised a hand to her lips and whistled through her fingers loud and clear, and she knew her Pokemon that were in the area would hear her. Lynno and Flix who had just finished their battle heard Emiri's call and the two took to the air to come back to her. Flareon who had been out padding around the grass started off in a bound towards Emiri as his ears perked at the sound of her whistle, and Venusaur trudged back through the grass to come back. Off to the side, Azuran and Charizard had been spending their time together but heard Emiri's call, and the two Pokemon moved towards her as the rest of her scattered Pokemon came back together as Emiri stood with Kovu and Nimbus.

As Emiri's Pokemon started to gather closer, Flix came closer to Venusaur who was trudging through the grass and over the brush, and they were challenged by two Pokemon that came through the fields, a large monkey and a Lilligant. They fought the Pokemon easy enough though and moved towards Emiri who had called them.
With Emiri's Pokemon gathered, she looked out to her team, the Pokemon that she had out for the day and smiled at them as they all settled around her. She could tell they had been using their time on the reserve to make themselves stronger in each their own way, and in that moment she felt like she could see a change in them. They weren't in peril, they weren't trying to fight for their lives, they were safe, if for the time being, but they were almost back to their old selves she felt like, though she really would never know for certain. Her Pokemon looked to her though, and found the egg that she was holding in her arms, and they all stopped as they looked at each other.
"Hey, uh... Where did that come from,"[/b] Flareon asked hesitantly, glancing at the egg in her arms as he sat on the ground. He certainly wasn't prepared to have a baby around, and he definitely didn't want to feel responsible for something like that.
"Is that a baby? Who's baby is it? Does it belong to Charizard," Flix asked inquisitively since he knew Charizard to be the only female among them as he flitted closer to Emiri and the egg as he looked at it carefully, sniffing at the small object, but everyone around him stopped as they all looked to Charizard with wide eyes.
"No, it's not mine, every body can stop staring," Charizard growled, and Flix lowered his head as he understood he said something wrong.
"Okay, so if it's not the obvious, then what gives," Lynno asked, and Charizard growled at him as she glared in his direction, but Lynno didn't even flinch as Emiri looked out to her Pokemon again with Kovu beside her.

Skylar made his way out yet again heading to the Reserve where he last saw Rhienne. He was coming up and eventually came up to her. "Hey I've been thinking, Where would the nearest gym be? Cause i will need the Gym Badges to compete in the league and as well as get my Arcanine to obey me." he asked. As much as he would like to stay to catch the last pokemon so he could get his full fill. He did need to start training right away.

There was little Rhienne could do as she stood there in front of the boy who had accused her of things and apologized so many times that she was beginning to think that this personality disorder was more apparent than they all thought. He seemed to digress though and understand the situation, if only a little, but stepped forward towards her with something in his hand. A moment later, after an apology and watching him leave, Rhienne was standing there with a Pokeball in her hand now. She had no idea how to respond to the situation, no clue on how to handle what had just happened as she continued to stare down at the pokeball, but it wasn't as though she could really run back up to him and throw the Pokeball back at him. He must have really thought in that moment that this particular Pokemon would be better off with her, and she really didn't know what to think then. Her life, and that of her Pokemon, were no less hectic it seemed than what he was going through. She faced life and death, got caught up in situations that were far from what normal trainers seemed to go through, and she really didn't consider her team of Pokemon a condusive environment for an outsider.
"Just take it in stride. It was some sort of peace offering from him," Absolem spoke as he too looked down to the Pokeball, and Wattson who had stayed close for what seemed to be an impending fight came closer as well.
"But at what cost? How do we explain to this Pokemon that it no longer belongs to the trainer it knew before," Wattson asked, but all three of them stopped as they caught Valor moving along side them. The dragon froze at Wattson's words and his eyes grew sharp, but beside the anger Rhienne could see remorse and regret. Rhienne gave the Pokeball to Wattson as she ran towards Valor who had moved to turn away from them, and Rhienne then spent the next while on the reserve trying to make sense of everything that had happened with the other trainer boy, and trying to talk Valor down from such a similar situation. She knew what she had done to him when she captured him that day, and she honestly never forgave herself for it and she knew he didn't either, but where he was starting to come to final terms with it all, this new Pokemon would only open old wounds, and Rhienne was just trying to stop the worst of it before it got too bad.
It was a while that Rhienne remained out there in the grass and field by herself, trying to make another amends with Valor and knowing that she and Wattson were still on lofty terms, but she sat with Nara, leaning against the tiger's black fur on the ground, just having too much on her mind, especially as she looked down again at the amethyst ring that she wore on her finger. She had just really started to wonder where Skylar had gone off to, wondering if she really needed to be concerned about him when Nara looked up at something moving towards them, and it was Skylar coming towards her now from the direction of the main area for the reserve.
"You've been gone for a while," Rhienne commented as he had come close enough, knowing he had probably just found some wild Pokemon to practice on. As long as he was still breathing, she assumed that everything was relatively fine, though she knew that the Pokemon here could be tough, it might not be the best environment for him and his new Pokemon. He seemed to be in thought though as he came towards her, and asked about gyms in the area.
"Well, I actually don't know? I've never been this far west before," Rhienne replied, but she took out her Pokedex to look at the map there, she didn't even really know where they were right then, just that Absolem knew where this reserve place was when Preston mentioned it.
"It looks like we're south of Kalos right now, and further west across the ocean is the region of Unova. Ever been to one of those regions," Rhienne asked as she looked up to Skylar from the ground, knowing that she certainly had never been to one of those regions herself.
"I mean, it's not that much trouble to go back to Johto, Absolem can handle it, but those are the closest regions it looks like, we're really far from Johto," she stated, really not having a preference on where she wanted to go, nor much idea on what it was she was wanting to do.

"Yeah...sorry about that, I had first gotten in a battle with a Gallade, and after healing up I got in a battle with a Roselia and a Dragonair! This place has crazy strong Pokémon, but I was lucky to catch the Dragonair." He said as he looked over where Rhienne was looking based on locations. "Well this is the farthest I've been away from Johto." He said. Honestly he did want to visit all the regions but what really stuck out to him was Unova. "I say we go visit Unova!" He smiled. "It could be fun. And a great place to train." Skylar stated as the Chikorita who his valuable partner was, jumped up onto his shoulder looming at the map and agreeing with them. "Chika!" Skylar smiled gently petting her cheek. "What do you say Rhienne."

Having come back to her and her Pokemon after going on his small exploits, Skylar was quick to regale her with the minor details of his ventures as he stated that he caught a Dragonair, and she looked back to Valor who was sulking now off to the side with is long body coiled on the ground.
"They might be strong Pokemon, that Arcanine and the Dragonair, you just have to be careful with them, okay? They're wild, they might not be used to humans, and clearly that Arcanine isn't particularly fond of you," Rhienne stated, it was clear to see that a wild Pokemon like that Arcanine wasn't too keen on being brought down by a human trainer. She could imagine that most Pokemon wouldn't be if they were from a place like this.
"Just be careful with them, and take things slow. They could be dangerous, not every Pokemon has the capacity to reason to listen or would want to," she cautioned though, just trying to make Skylar understand that just because he captured a Pokemon didn't mean that it would like him, just because it had a Pokeball didn't mean that it would become his friend instantly. Things like that took time, and he couldn't force any interaction, she just wanted him to be careful. He went on though to confirm that he too had never been this far from Johto either, but instead of going home he was quick to jump on the idea of going to another region, going to Unova across the ocean further west.
"Yeah, I guess so," Rhienne agreed, though skeptically so despite having no real reason to be as such. She didn't know why she felt like she didn't want to go to another region, but she knew she didn't want to go back to Johto, at least not for a while. She had done just about everything she could think of in Johto really and had spent far too long in the region she felt, she did want a change of scenery, she just didn't expect it to be so soon. Skylar seemed certain though, and eager too, and she didn't have any plans for the foreseeable future. A change of pace and a change of scenery might be good for her, she couldn't think of something else to do.
"We can go to Unova, it couldn't hurt," Rhienne digressed after a moment as she stood from the ground with the help of Nara behind her, pushing the small of her back up with her head as Rhienne stood and brushed off her clothes from grass and dirt. She knew Absolem was listening and soon Valor and Nara were returned to their Pokeballs with the help of the psychic, and Rhienen turned to look to Skylar behind her glasses.
"Stay close so Absolem can get us there," Rhienne stated and in a flash they were gone again from the ground they stood and were on their way to where Absolem found the first gym in Unova to be, a place called Striaton City.

He had just managed to captured one Pokemon, and defeat another, but nothing could have prepared him for what was coming. A wild Jolteon seemed prepared to risk it all for the chance to take down these intruders, but a Skorupi was trying to talk some sense into it. Upon realizing that Jolteon would not listen to reason, the Poison-Type Pokemon was not going to leave it to fight on it's own. Arcanine could probably have swept both of them away, but Julian had underestimated Pokemon in the past to disastrous results.

Noctowl appeared, flying around the battle-field and surveying it from above. The enemies hadn't expected this, and while Jolteon was looking up, Arcanine spit a stream of fire that took it out without hesitation. Skorupi didn't like that. Unfortunately, Noctowl had been lulling it into a Hypnosis Attack, knowing that if they put the scorpion to sleep, it would be game-over. Sure enough, a duo of Flamethrowers and a Dream Eater attack left it down for the count before it could even wake back up. Having just experienced his first ever Double Battle, Julian was itching to do it again.

And so it was that Julian went traversing across the Plains, searching in burrows and peering into the upper branches of trees. He wasn't looking for any Pokemon in particular, just something to catch his eye. He happened across one Pokemon - a Tropius, and spotted a floating bundle of moving gears not too far away. They weren't working together, as far as Julian could tell they had never even met. However, he was going to attack them both at the same time. At the very least, it would add up to some experience.

Returning the others, Julian sent out Typhlosion and Ficub. The duo of Fire-Types stood side-by-side and faced the disadvantaged and unwary duo. The Flamethrower and Inferno attacks hit before they even knew they were under attack. Julian nodded, returning his Pokemon. Now only Umbreon and Espeon were out; one on either side of him. He walked away and left the unconscious Pokemon behind to recover on their own.

It had been a blast, battling two different Pokemon at a time. It was far more entertaining, and required more of his attention than usual. Generally he had too many thoughts racing through his mind at once, and this provided him the perfect opportunity to calm things down a bit. He was itching for more. He called out all of his Pokemon, every one, and under the guidance of Noctowl sent them all to act as shepherds to herd wild Pokemon together and in battle-range. The first two - Ficub and Persian - returned shortly after, chasing a small metallic Pokemon and a much larger Grass-Type.

The fly-trap Pokemon was clearly fearful of Ficub's flames, running to avoid being burned up. Unfortunately for it, a Flamethrower/Thunder combination attack hit it directly from behind. The results weren't pretty. Now it was only the small Steel-Type, running until it tripped over it's own feet. It pushed itself over onto it's back, and scuttled backwards feebly with it's tiny feet. Those Pokemon advancing on it were much larger, and used their sleek Hunter's frames to intimidate the poor guy. "Finish it quickly." Julian ordered, taking pity on the creature. Persian did it, but Julian felt drawn to the little chess-piece. He decided to catch it, and so with that he had collected all three of the wild Pokemon he was allowed to here. That being said, nobody told him he couldn't stick around and traine some more... Julian returned his Ficub and Persian, they earned a rest. Little did he know that even now, Ficub was undergoing a drastic metamorphosis.

Julian Malcolm

His first ever official Pokemon returned next, his Starter and Companion - Typhlosion. Arcanine was helping the bear-like Fire-Type chase an Ambipom and Florges towards Julian, blasting them both repeatedly with Fire-Type attacks when they got a bit too close to him. "Good work, everyone." He told them all with a smile - aided by Noctowl's Psychic abilities. This was going exceptionally well, and Julian couldn't have been happier with the experience and training they were getting in. It was only a matter of time until they were stronger than ever before, and would be able to take down that Pryce guy.

Julian Malcolm

Finally Noctowl returned, using his telepathic powers to herd two wild Pokemon towards the Trainer. Julian felt a strange movement from his belt, and looked down to see a Pokemon appearing on it's own accord. The Pokemon was so drastically different from any of his active party that for a few moments, he was stunned. Fortunately, he had a little knowledge in this situation after experiencing it with Persian. There was no other explanation - Ficub had evolved from within his own Pokeball. The Pokemon soared towards Noctowl, Escavalier, and Ledian, still spitting fire like a Master.

Escavalier went down in the first bit of flames, but Ledian was faster than Julian could have expected. Despite the few feeble hits it managed to get in, Ledian too felt the heat without being able to escape the kitchen. Julian made sure to heal everyone up, but stared in disbelief as Replisol - formerly Ficub - began to glow. There was just no way, absolutely no way that this could be happening a second time within the span of half-an-hour. It didn't matter that Julian was struggling to believe, Replisol was evolving into Nightrial before his very eyes.

Julian stared at the sleek, black Dragon-like Pokemon. It was massive, easily large enough to fly on (though he had Pidgeot for that). He stopped to take a mental note of his Pokemon, his team. In one way or another, they all seemed suitable for taking on that Ice-Type Gym Leader who had beaten him so unceremoniously before. Could it be possible he was ready to beat him this time around? He was confident that the firepower between Typhlosion, Arcanine, and Nightrial had grown quite a bit since that fateful battle, and it's true that Persian's Thunder attack was as shocking as ever, but what really made the difference this time around was the addition of Zekrom to his team. The Legendary Behemoth radiated with power, Julian didn't see how he could lose! Maybe...

As Julian sat on a bench conveniently erected for their usage, he thought. He thought about many things, among them being Liz (and how he felt about her), about Ficub's first - and then second - transformation, as well as the creature's fumble when he tried to fly earlier. He made a mental note to help him practice with that. He couldn't blame the guy for being so confused, if Julian had spent his whole life walking around and suddenly sprouted wings, he'd be awfully wrong-footed.Everything became a jumbled mess in his head, and he was eventually forced to leave it at that. He got up, fully intending to go looking around for more Pokemon, but something stopped him dead. A Trainer he'd never met before was approaching him. Just as he suspected, Julian knew enough by what he could read off the other Trainer's lips that he was itching for a battle, then something about tuna mints? Julian really hoped he was misunderstanding, because he wanted /nothing/ to do with the alternative. He was pulled out of his own thoughts by the appearance of a Scizor. Now they were talking, Julian was very familiar with this particular Pokemon, and the fact that the majority of his team consisted of Fire-Type Pokemon put him at the advantage.

Though Julian knew just how favorably the scales were tipped in his direction, he could tell that Typhlosion was hurting by the end of it. Scizor had cut him up pretty bad, and angry, bleeding wounds covered his chest and arms. There was even a cut over one eye, though it didn't look bad enough to do any permanent damage. Typhlosion had retaliated with lethal fire-power, first with Inferno and then with two Fire Blast attacks. These were easily the most devastating Fire Blast attacks Julian had ever seen, the force from the blast nearly swept him off of his feet. He'd never even heard reports of a Fire Blast attack causing that much damage. Either way, Typhlosion earned the Potions and a nice rest, being returned happily to his Pokeball.

The young Trainer let out a sign. "I should have known." He muttered, looking annoyed. "It's just my luck, really. I specialize in Pokemon who have a weakness to one type; Fire. I should have known you'd have a strong Fire-Type, and if my luck holds up you've got more than one." Julian only understood fractions of this, but could put two and two together. He didn't respond - how could he? Instead he stared his opponent down and waited for the Kid to select his new Pokemon. "It's just too bad for you that I've created a counter to this problem." Suddenly he was smiling again. "Go, Blastoise!"

For someone who seemed so young, for him to have such a powerful Scizor and a sturdy-looking Blastoise to boot was no small feat. It was just a shame that he was expecting only Fire-Type Pokemon out of Julian, when he had an assortment of Pokemon with different moves and Types. He recalled Typhlosion and aimed a second Pokeball at the ground. Persian appeared. She was licking her paw, but looked up when she realized it was battle-time. The giant turtle was much larger than Persian, but the big cat knew it was much slower. She would have to out-speed it.

She tried just that, using her much better speed to run circles around the Blastoise. Unfortunately, the giant turtle was used to Pokemon thinking they can speed past him. He lowered the bulky cannons on his back an fired a devastating Hydro Pump attack. Persian was soaked now, and she hated getting her fur wet! She glared, eyes glowing red and the heavy shelled Pokemon fell with such force that the ground shook. It only took three Thunder attacks falling from the sky before the Trainer recalled his Blastoise to keep it from taking any more damage. "Alright, alright." He grumbled. "I didn't even know Persian could use Thunder." He seemed grumpy.

Julian had already battled a Bug/Steel-Type, did that mean there would be more like that Scizor? Either that, or some sort of Grass-Type Pokemon would be making an appearance next. Either way, this young Trainer had foolishly admitted the weakness to Fire-Types, and that was something he had plenty of. Julian grinned when the kid sent out a Parasect. This was perfect, he countered by sending out the new Nightrial. It tried to fly, failed spectacularly by stumbling and falling over legs longer than it was used to, which left the other Trainer laughing.

Julian glared daggers at him, but ran forward to help Nightrial back up. The Pokemon huffed super-heated air to keep him away, however, glaring back at the Trainer. Julian held up his hands as if to say 'okay then' and backed away. "You should really work on training your Pokemon better, maybe then they would actually listen to you." His words fell on deaf ears, because Julian was staring at the jet-black frame of his dragon-like Pokemon. Parasect scuttled forward, tired of waiting and slashed out with sharp pincers. Nightrial used Flamethrower attacks, which easily left the mushroom a bit too burned.

Holding the egg closely and carefully in her arms, Emiri looked out to her Pokemon as they gathered and started to converse, but she shook her head at the argument that was getting ready to spark as Lynno had given his comment.
"That's enough you guys, this egg doesn't belong to anyone here, so don't start anything," Emiri spoke a bit firmly as her Pokemon quieted down, but Lynno was snickering to himself and earned a heavy glare from Charizard that stood off to the side.

"How do we have it to begin with? Where did it come from," Azuran asked, standing taller beside Charizard at the notion that they might now be harboring something potentially dangerous if the mother of this egg was ruthless in trying to get it back.
"Kovu was out in the fields and came across her and her egg. They got attacked though and she told Kovu to protect her egg. He did, and ran as far as he could and saved the egg from their attacker, but he wouldn't have made it back if he had tried to go look for the mother himself," Emiri explained, looking to Kovu who was still laying and resting beside her. His breathing had settled and he wasn't trembling from the exertion of his muscles, but he knew he was far from being able to fend for himself out in the fields like he wanted to.
"Oh no! What kind of Pokemon attacked them? Do we need to watch out for it," Flix asked with concern and worry, knowing Kovu to be one of the strongest Pokemon on their team, and if the Pokemon that attacked hurt him as bad as he looked, then that means it could be really dangerous. Emiri stopped at the question, her eyes only glancing in Azuran's direction. She didn't want to say anything to upset Azuran, they had hardly, if at all, come across another Aerodactyl in their travels, and she knew how sensitive he could be about things since she herself had been afraid of fossils at one point, so she didn't want to upset anything.
"No, don't worry Flix. Kovu made sure that the attacking Pokemon wouldn't hurt anyone else," Emiri answered after a moment, situating the egg in her arms as she looked out to her Pokemon.

"So, again, what's with the egg? What are we supposed to do about it now? We can't keep it, I don't know about you guys but I don't think we're ready to have a baby around," Flareon spoke up as he padded forward, wondering just what it was they were supposed to do now that they were in possession of something considerably life changing.
"We're going to go find the mom," Nimbus spoke up with a smile, floating there on his tail beside Emiri as his long feet kicked in the air beneath him, and Emiri's Pokemon looked from the Raichu back to her, waiting for the confirmation that didn't come from the newbie.
"Nimbus is right, we need to go find the mother. We have no right keeping this egg when she could still be out there, and it's in the best interest for everyone that we bring her baby back to her," Emiri added at Nimbus' comment.
"So, I can't be the only one that's concerned about how big this place is, right? I can go an hour in any direction and not see anything but grass and field still, and we're supposed to find one Pokemon out of this entire place," Flareon barked in concern at Emiri's declaration. Sure, he was one of the good guys now, he knew that they all spent more time helping others than they did helping themselves and doing good deeds and such as opposed to his old days of being a theif and a smuggler and otherwise, but that sounded like a bit more work than he was honestly willing to put in.
