Happy Birthday Hidden Legends!

Another year has come and gone for all of us, and what a sight it is to see change and growth in those short months as we move through our lives. Time is a precious gift, each year bringing new experiences and life long memories that will stay with us, and a celebration is always in order for that special gift of one year more added to one's journey. Today however, we don't celebrate for someone, but rather the whole of Pokemon Hidden Legends, as it has been 13 years now that this world has been growing and building. In 2005 this role play had its start on Gaia, and on this day we pay our respects to our original moderator and creator, mystikdreamer. She has since moved on from this world, but is never forgotten in the wonderful seed that she planted that has grown into what Hidden Legends has become today. Thirteen years of role playing, battling and members coming together in the common interest of Pokemon have passed through this world, and today we would like to celebrate the momentous anniversary and birthday celebration of Hidden Legends. We could not thank you all enough for your support and activity all this time, and to those who will join us to add to the legacy of our story. Thank you all so much for everything, and here's to another full year of Pokemon adventures here in Hidden Legends.

We have also added a new set of new event items that will be available to claim through this event along with the existing event items:
- Deactive Detonator: Negates the effects of the opponent's hold item, including mega stone stat changes and z crystal attacks. If there is more than one opponent on the field at a time, this item will only deactivate the effects of one hold item at random.
- Reverbium Shield: Halves all physical attack damage that the holder receives
- Arclight Orb: Halves all special attack damage that the holder receives
- Amulet of Tutela: Holder is immune to all status ailments, except confusion and flinching
- Collector's Belt: Opens a 7th active party slot for three months upon activation. This 7th Pokemon can earn exp through posting, and other event related experience gain such as x2 posting bonuses, Pokerus, ect. Only 6 Pokemon are allowed in a gym battle due to Regional Pokemon League regulations, but 7 Pokemon can be used in a battle against an NPC
- Explorer Kit: For two weeks of active posting, your character can create a dig sight to look for fossils, regardless of the area they are in. Fossils can be found at 25 posts rather than 50, and up to three fossils of choice can be found. The explorer kit can move threads while activated.

Likewise, as a special treat, below is a list of Pokemon that we are allowing to be claimed through this event. However, this a reward that we ask you to wait and trust us on. You may claim a new Pokemon below that you would like to have, or select a Pokemon your character has introduced or on hold on this list at any stage of evolution. You will be able to list that Pokemon of your choice or one of the Pokemon below for a special announcement on Monday, so don't forget to come back and check!
