OOC:After azzazell says his thanks as the trainer heads off and he says to nireta and the others."come on you guys lets get going its about time we get to the next city." As he leads his pokemon towards where the trainer with the pirate outfit pointed. Moon looks up at azzazell and asks. "Can we stop and get some food first we know where to go now and im a little hungry." As he motions at one of the food places on the way to the next city where they're headed. Azzazell smiles and says. "Sure thing moon are you and nireta hungry star?" As he looks at star and he pats nireta on the head. They both pipe up. "Yes please." Star adds in. "can we have some of our food but with our favorite seasonings on it?" As her tail flicks back and forth. They all go sit down and he replies. "Of course star you and moon can have both of your favorite seasonings added to your food your still new to the group nireta do you have a preference as to what flavors you like for example star likes sweet things with a little bit of spicy and moon likes salty with a little bit of spicy also. As he puts all three bowls out on the table where they're sitting and fills them with their food while adding in their spices. Nireta hops down onto the table with them and asks can i try some of the spice before i decide which one i want on my food?" He replies to her. "Sure nireta which one would you like?" As he holds up the pouches labeled for each spice and he grabs a pokemon food nugget. Nireta looks at them and decides. "I'd like to try the salty seasoning." As she points with her little claw. He smiles and sprinkles a little on the nugget and tells her. "Here you go little one tell me what you think?" She tries a bite and says. "oooh that's yummy can i try the sour seasoning next." As she points at another pouch and she grabs a nugget. Azzazell sprinkles a little more and says. "Ok ill keep that in mind you like salty seasoning." Nireta takes a bite a makes a face and says. "Wow that's sour but its really good can i just have some salty seasoning on my food please?" He pats her on the head and says. "Of course little one whatever you want anything you star or moon need ill gladly give you guys." As he sprinkles a good portion of the seasoning on niretas food. Nireta digs in with enjoyment and azzazell says to star and moon. "Look out for each other ok i'm gonna go and get a sandwich." As he stands up and pets star and moon and he walks inside the sandwich shop they stopped at. He walks up to the counter and says to the guy behind it. "May i get a ham and cheese sandwich please with a bit of lettuce and tomato and no sauces and a water." As he holds out the money for the sandwich and the water. The guy behind the counter smiles and says. "Sure no problem coming right up." As he takes azzazells money and starts working on his sandwich. Him and azzazell make small talk while hes making his sandwich and azzazell learns he works part time so him and his sandshrew can live comfortably and that his sandshrew sometimes helps him out at work helping carry heavy loads or just helping out with the sandwich shop. Azzazell thanks the worker and tells him about how hes traveling with his espeon umbreon and totodile and that he loves his journey so far even tho its just begun. He walks out of the shop and asks his pokemon. "You guys doing all right?" As he sets his food down and takes a bite. Star and moon smile and say. "Yes our food is so yummy," And nireta adds in. "So good im definetly gonna enjoy meal time from now on." As she eats a few pieces at a time. Azzazell munches on his sandwich and says. "Its good for you guys to enjoy your food i dont want any of you guys to have to dread eating at all i want at least 80-90% of our journey to be enjoyable i know their will be times where we will face hardships but as long as we face them together as a team we cant go wrong." As he pats star and moon on the head and he scratches niretas scales gently. Star gives a feline grin and says. "Team and a family thats what we are." As she puts her paw out which her brother quickly covers with his own." Nireta looks at them with wide eyes and moon says with a smile. "You're part of the family to nireta ever since we picked you up from professor elm." As he motions her to join them. She gives a big crocodile grin and says. "I"m glad to be a part of the family i'll make you guys and azzazell proud." As she puts her claw on top. Azzazell puts his hand on top of their paws and claws and says. "You already do nireta just having fun and enjoying yourself makes me proud we haven't had you battle yet but we will soon." As he finishes his sandwich and he puts all their empty bowls back in his backpack after washing them with a little water from his water bottle. All his pokemon get up and moon asks. "Are we ready to go?" As he stretches his paws out in front of him. Azzazell looks down at him and says. "Yeah of course time to start heading to viridian city then we'll head to viridian forest." As he slings his back pack around his shoulder and he starts walking with his pokemon to viridian city. With Andy's arrival into Pallet Town, that marks his time into the Kanto region. Now is Phoenix's turn to be just as confused as Andy was as he disembarked the train into Pallet. There seems to be a slight chill in the air as both trainer and pokemon look around a bit "Hmm, I don't have the slightest clue where to even start right now." he muses nervously, "I guess going to the lab would be an appropriate place to begin." letting out a sigh as he had to once again, figure out a new area or be seen as the usual Magikarp out of water, which he certainly felt like at the moment.

Walking through the Town felt like Kalos did just a few hours ago, like he was walking around without a compass or clue as to where he was heading. Pallet, of course, had a few homes scattered about, but where was the Lab, if they had one that is? As he walks around, many people would just ignore him, keeping to their own business, not a problem for either of them really, Phoenix also keeping quiet for Andy's entire journey around Kanto's starting point. After what seems like at least 30 minutes, Andy spot a building a bit unlike the others mainly in size, it being a fair amount bigger than most of the homes, a sign reading 'Professor Oak's Laboratory.' "Whew, least I found the lab, thank Arceus," he says with slight relief as he enters through the sliding glass doors.

mdebourg101Stepping in through the doors of the esteemed facility that Pallet town was famed for was always like stepping into a different world compared to the quiet tranquility of Pallet Town just on the other side of the threshold. There was always something going on within the walls of the facility, Pokémon cries, machines running, scientists and lab hands moving from doorways and hallways left and right. It was chaotic, but synchronized almost, an organized chaotic system that ran as smooth as it ever would under the conductor that took the head of it all. One lab hand that was moving through did take notice to the visitor that had stepped through the doors, and making a segway from the path he was following, he moved towards the young man. "You must be the visitor Professor Oak was expecting today? He thought you might be here around this time coming from the Kalos Region, please come in," the lab hand smiled, gesturing for the teen to move further into the laboratory from the door way. "I'll be right back, let me fetch the professor. I believe he's just on a call with another trainer right now," he offered before stepping away. He disappeared through a hallway, and just moments later the famed Professor Oak came through that same entry way, moving towards the visitor in question. "Hello! Andy, is it? I thought we would be expecting you around this time, please come in," Oak beamed, gesturing for a handshake as he lead Andy further into the main facility room. "I'm glad you made it here safe. Welcome to the Kanto Region," he greeted.

Once he enters the lab, the quiet stillness of the town itself got, quite literally, thrown into chaos, bunches, and bunches of aides in white lab coats hurrying around the area to who knows where doing who knows what. This hustle and bustle would be alien to the white-haired Andy who hadn't ever been to a cityscape yet. He and his Fennikin would be looking around taking in all of the work being done when a man would slowly approach the two with a smile, another one of the aides, possibly the leader of the bunch?
His greeting to him left Andy puzzled, "Yes, I am a visitor to his region, was the professor here expecting me to arrive?"He didn't an exact answer to that, instead, the aide walked off heading to get the professor of the region, said professor appearing a minute later welcoming him to the Kanto Region.
He had seen the man before thanks to a few newscasts back in Mahogany Town, being in his presence was a whole nother basket of berries. His dialogue answering his question if he was expecting him or not. the boy following him inside keeping a reasonable distance between him and Professor Oak. "Yo were expecting me? mdebourg101Always eager and pleased to welcome visitors and new comers into his facility, considering himself having a sort of open door policy he could call it, Oak did not hesitate in welcoming Andy into his laboratory as he moved away from the doorway to the outside. He looked on and found a small yellow fox beside him on the ground, and Oak smiled at the sight of the fire type Fennekin. "Ah, I see you have already visited Augustine in Kalos, I trust he was able to get you all set up," he mentioned, glancing down to the small fire type with a smile. "He looks healthy, he'll be a strong partner for you as you begin your travels," he mentioned, but not before standing up straighter and looking at Andy in regards to his inquiry about why he might have been expecting him. "Well, you had made mention of your travel plans to your parents, and they got in contact with me. It seems you might have over looked a very important piece of your journey to come, and they wanted me to pass this along," Oak smiled, and as a lab aid had come by just a moment earlier and handed him somethin, Professor Oak then held out a Pokeball towards Andy for him to take.

Both of them follow the professor inside the lab, Oak taking notice of the Firefox, "Yes, the professor in Kalos had set me up though I made the choice of Phoenix here, myself."the fox regarding Oak and Andy with a smile, Andy wearing that bewildered face again. Huh? I forgot something? What could that even possibly be?"His answer coming in the form of a pokeball that was presented to him. Taking and opening the pokeball reveals a blue, chubby mouse that now appears on the ground beside, him, a Marill, this wasn't any ordinary Marill however, it actually being... "Aqua!? What are you doing here?!" he yells, lighting up in joy at seeing the mouse again. The little mouse gives him a hug using her tail and begins squeaking happily upon the sight of the boy, calming down after 5 minutes that were spent in a reunion of squeaks, hugs and one happy as can be lad.
After all that, he would pull out the Kalos dex, which did have a phone app on it, and calls his parents up for a bit of an explanation. Hello Mom?"
"Hm? Hi honey, did you enjoy our little going away present?" Martha's voice ringing with glee that her son received the now Marill.
"So that was your doing? Thanks so much, but I thought I couldn't bring her along." Bob Richter coming on the line now with a bit of a hearty chuckle.
"Oh come on sport, you know we wouldn't send you off without the first pokemon you befriended.
Mom barges in again"Especially with how much she has helped you come out of your shell as a little baby." she couldn't suppress gigging at this, recalling the memory.
"MOM!!!" Andy yelps blushing about as red as the firefox "For the love of pecha berries, stop that please" Martha and Bob just having a laugh at this.
"Thanks to all that time you spent with her while she was an Azurill, she evolved, another reason we couldn't have her not be with you. She already loves you, enjoy your time together; be sure to call us sometimes Okay?"
"Okay Dad, bye now." turning off the phone app now still as red as a cheri berry, "Oh sorry about that sir, I hope you didn't hear all of that," he says sheepishly.

mdebourg101In no time at all a reunion was made, and Professor Oak beamed and smiled as he had held out the Pokeball for Andy to take. He was elated when his parents had contacted him and asked if he would be so kind, there was no reason why he wouldn't reunite an already promising trainer with a trusted companion, he was happy to do it. The Marill seemed just as over joyed as squeaks and cries filled the facility room, the mouse was energetic and couldn't get enough of seeing her human after what could have only been just a little bit since he left home. He stepped away for a bit while Andy did take a moment to make a phone call, and it was clear to see that this was just what the boy needed in order to make a great start to his journey. "My boy, there is no shame in having someone or something that loves you unconditionally like your Marill does," Oak spoke after a moment, when Andy had relinquished his device after calling his parents. "Your parents mentioned that you had found it as an Azurill, and that it had evolved not too long ago. That already gives you the mark of a great trainer, you have all the potential you could ever need," he smiled softer then, trying to give Andy all the encouragement he could. "There's a whole world out there ready for you to use that potential, and it starts here. Where are you heading to first in the Kanto Region," Oak questioned then, wondering what the boy's plans were now that he was in a new region he had never traveled to or through before.

The boy and his mouse finally stopped hugging after about 5 minutes of this, the blue mouse now turning his attention to the orange fox."Hello there, nice to meet you. My name is Aquamarine." she squeaks.The fox looks at her with a little smile responding, "Mine is Phoenix, at least, that's what the trainer named me anyways So it seems you both were together before I met him?."
That we were, I've been with him since he was younger."
While Aqua recounts Andy's current life story to the Fennikin like a gossip girl, Andy would be listening to the professor, who doles out a compliment on getting the former Azurill to evolve, calling that feat, "The mark of a great trainer." he smiles feeling proud of himself again that he was issued such a compliment so early into things. Then came the all-important question presented to Andy, "Where are you heading to first in the Kanto Region?"
"Well, I am going to head to some cities and towns in this region, I actually want to be a Pokemon Ranger but I'd probably have to go to a school first. Do they have a ranger school here in Kanto? If not then I can do that before heading to another area. However, do you know of anyone that would help me around the region? mdebourg101Always pleased and elated to help any new trainer, young or old, Oak smiled as the boy interacted with his old friend and new Pokémon together for a few moments, and it seemed already that the two Pokémon might be getting along. This was all good news, and was going to help Andy in his travels, and Oak knew he was going to hold promise in anything that he was setting out to do. He'd posed his question, but Andy came back with a few interesting ones of his own in return. "A Pokémon Ranger? Why how admirable of you," Oak nodded, knowing that it was an esteemed position to be considered a Pokémon ranger. "However, I'm sorry to say, the only sanctioned school is in the Hoenn Region which is a bit far from here," he answered, though was still met with another question that he needed to respond to. "Know anyone to help you around the region? Why, I'm not sure...," he trailed off, but only for a moment before his eyes lit up, remembering that he was on a call with someone that he had been speaking to just before Andy had arrived. "Actually, I know just the person, stay right there," he answered then, and disappeared down a hallway. It was only a few moments before he came back, smiling as always and happy to pass along the good news. "I know all of the trainers who pass through my laboratory very well, and I believe this particular trainer will be a right fit for you. She's in Celedon City right now, but she should actually be here in no time at all. She's happy to help you along in your travels, so if you might wait outside for her to arrive, you'll be on your way in a jiff," Oak replied, pleased with himself that he had managed to find someone that would aid Andy in the beginning of his travels.

Andy gives a slight frown, "Drat, oh well that gives me time to explore Kanto for the moment."the frown brightening up to a smile to know that at least he wouldn't be wandering alone all around Kanto, Oak having gone away and returned a minute later to procure such news to the boy, the trio wanting to get going,"Oh, she is in Celadon City right now?" he pulls up a map of Kanto from his phone to check distances, "That seems awfully far from here."How about we meet her halfway?" he then starts heading out the lab "Thanks a lot Professor Oak!" he yells as he heads out the door, much like every other trainer that was just starting their journey, going into the quiet stillness of Pallet Town and heading north to Viridian City, Fennikin on the shoulder, Marill bouncing along his right side.

Thanks to the rest that she had been getting, and the slow work that she had been doing with her power, Charizard was feeling better by the day, though she still wouldn't consider herself one hundred percent. She felt better about flying though, the exertion hadn't become too much for her in the few flights they had taken between her getting sick and moving from Kalos to Kanto, so she could at least take solace in knowing that she was at least going to be able to travel when she needed to. Nimbus took care in staying close to Emiri and Charizard, hovering through the air on his tail with the baby curled up behind him still asleep, and it wasn't long at all really before the water turned back into land, and the small southern town could be seen coming up beneath them.
"It seems so small now after everywhere we've been," Charizard commented as she looked down with her blue eyes, lofting over the small town on her wings now as she moved through the air.
"Is this where you're from Emiri, your human," Nimbus asked, moving through the air to come closer to Emiri on Charizard, and they both looked down fondly over the small town. In the near distance, Emiri could see her parents' property line, and she knew that all of the Pokemon would be out and playing in the fields and having a good time. They were safe and happy there, and Emiri was always grateful that she could give them a home, somewhere that they could always come back to.
"Yeah, this is home for both of us, Charizard was born here too," Emiri answered after a quiet moment to herself, a soft smile on her features as she looked down to the ground, already knowing exactly where the Professor's laboratory was, even without have to recall with her memory. She motioned Charizard down towards the ground, and Nimbus followed suit while Charizard's enormous shadow descended upon the dusty walkways that lead up to the laboratory in making her landing. The grass rustled and dust and dirt lifted at the updraft from her wings, and she touched ground with a final flap, settling herself down and folding her wings at her shoulders.
"It's quiet here, I like it," Nimbus spoke then with a smile, coming down closer to the ground as he hopped off of his tail, though the flat surface still remained aloft in the air with the baby curled up and asleep while he stood on his two long feet on the ground. Emiri lifted one leg over Charizard's saddle and helped herself to the ground, but taking an initial look around she didn't see anyone outside or around the laboratory grounds, and least not anyone that looked like they were waiting for something.
"So where's this kid we're supposed to be escorting through the region," Charizard snuffed lightly, craning her long neck as she too looked around, and she didn't see anyone or anything that looked out of place.
"I'm not sure, maybe he started around the town, into the forests. He maybe got too excited getting his first Pokemon and moved away from the lab to train with it," Emiri commented, knowing that it was very exciting to get ones first Pokemon and be registered as a Pokemon trainer, shy or timid or afraid or not, that could get anyone excited enough to start moving around and maybe forget about something. Sending Charizard into the air, Emiri and Nimbus searched around the laboratory grounds and well into the small town while the dragon searched from above, looking for anyone who seemed out of place, or might be struggling. Well longer into her search than she should have gotten into, Emiri realized that she didn't actually know the boy's name, or even what he looked like to be looking for him... But starter Pokemon were easy to spot, so there was that. However, Emiri didn't see a single starter Pokemon or a single person that she didn't recognize, and after about an hour of searching around Pallet Town, it was clear that he wasn't there to be found.
"What should we do Emiri," Nimbus asked, looking up to the human as he walked beside her, and she looked up above the town with her brown eyes, knowing Charizard would see where she went if she were to move with her keen eyes.
"Let's go to the lab. Maybe he went inside to wait instead," Emiri suggested, which would make the whole situation just a bit silly since she didn't think to check there first. After a little bit of walking, she had made it to the lab and walked up the steps to the doors with Nimbus beside her, and the electric type looked around with inquisitive eyes as they stepped into the bustling facility together. She was always homed by the familiarity of it, and held a small smile on her face, but she looked around for Professor Oak as she walked in slightly across the tile floors.
"Emiri! My goodness, it's good to see you," came a familiar voice, and she turned to find Professor Oak coming towards her with a great smile. They exchanged a small set of niceties, but she was still there for a reason as she looked around the lab and still didn't see anyone that seemed out of place.
"Professor Oak, that new trainer you told me about earlier today... I can't find him anywhere," Emiri divulged after a moment, worrying about the repercussions of already losing a person that she didn't even know, and had been tasked with helping out.
"He wasn't outside of the laboratory when you arrived," Oak asked, just a bit concerned, but he by no means was being condescending to Emiri's lack of knowing where he was.
"Oh that young man that was here? He said something about Viridian City I think," a passing lab assistant mentioned and that made sense now why neither Professor Oak nor Emiri were able to tell where he was, but that now meant that she had a lot more searching to do...
"Do you know what he looks like Professor? I can't search the whole city just for one person...," Emiri asked in a bit of defeat, already feeling horrible that she was so behind on trying to do something nice and help out this new trainer, but Professor Oak didn't seem worried at Emiri's question.
"His trainer info was sent through my system when I recieved a Pokemon for him, so yes I do," Professor Oak replied, moving towards a computer and bringing up the boy's trainer registration, an older boy named Andy. He wasn't some kid at all.
Emiri thanked Professor Oak and hurred out from the lab, meeting Charizard who had landed upon watching her go into the lab. Nimbus was careful not to disturb the baby as he moved back onto his tail so they could move north towards Viridian City. She knew the boy, or rather teenager, looked like now so she would be able to search for him, and Emiri never did forget a face that she's ever seen. With a few words exchanged between her and the dragon, explaining the current status of their help, Charizard lifted into the air with Emiri mounted on her saddle, and they moved north towards Viridian City to see if they could find Andy. Kelsey pressed her forehead against the window she was sitting next to, a feeling of anticipation was rapidly spreading through out her limbs. The she gazed out at the row of trees that lined the road, and led up to the bus stop. The driver, a lanky man with glasses, parked and tore open a protein bar and wolfed it down. A bell tone rang, and was promptly followed by a digitized voice that announced they'd arrived in Pallet Town. She tentatively stepped off, and then she looked at a standing map beside the stop, to find out where Professor Oak's was at. "If I'm here, I need to go, that way." She drew her finger along the map, then raised her arm and pointed off to her side. She scanned the path that was up ahead, and lined with small houses. She'd heard the Pallet Town was small, but somehow this seemed a little more modest than she'd expected. Was there really a world class Pokemon research lab out here? She started down the path, hopeful for what the day would bring.

Kelsey had eventually found Professor oaks lab. Once she met the professor, he had registered her as a new trainer, and given her some potions and Pokeballs which she had placed into her bag. At her request, he handed her a Pokeball that held a Bulbasaur inside. Now, she stood outside the lab entrance, and gazed at the Pokeball she held in her hand. Finally! The wait was over, she had the Pokemon she'd spent so many hours dreaming of, and she really was going to see the world. Just what adventure was awaiting her, now that her life seemed to be joining harmoniously with her dreams? She placed the Pokeball into her bag, as wave of excitement rushed from the top of her head to the tip of her toes. She took off, and dashed forward down the curve of stone steps, her feet pummeling each one. She kept going after she she passed the bottom step, until she came to the wooden bridge over the river next to Pallet Town. How could she possibly wait another minute? She drew the Pokeball back from the bag, expanded it, then released her new companion. Upon seeing the Pokemon facing her, she excitedly hopped about on her legs, switching between them. "It's you, it's you, it's really you!" The Bulbasaur tilted his head, and chattered at her, somewhat bothered the spectacle of the girl's behavior. What had the professor gotten him into?  | During the time that Osheen had been within the Laboratory, Sage had found a park bench at the center of a cobblestone pathway with a streetlight beside her and decorative bushes at her back. Looking down at her red and white ball, she wasn’t so… uncertain anymore. In fact, she was feeling more and more excited at the prospect of actually owning a Pokémon. Okay, well, technically she supposed they weren’t supposed to “own” them. But, there was a lot of mixed feelings in the world regarding the relationship between human and Pokémon creature. Sage herself was a little confused, considering the whole idea of being a Pokémon trainer, and having the creatures in small, spherical, devices… —well, it seemed as though they were the owners and the Pokémon… enslaved? Like pets? Pets in pokéballs? A frown touched her lips as she ruffled her hand through her hair and decided to just stop thinking too hard on it. Taking this journey hadn’t been an option, and she had to make the… best out of everything. Bulbasaur had been the best choice for her as she could only imagine how much difficulty she would have had if she had started with a Squirtle instead. Sage glanced up when the double doors to the laboratory opened and her fraternal twin walked out. The sight of her sister immediately lightened Sage’s features and she stood from the bench to flag her down since she had changed positions from where they had last left each other. She was rather certain that Osheen hadn’t gotten a Charmander — Sage had told her not to, and her younger twin was usually good at listening to her when she was serious about something. And, for now, she was. No fire Pokémon. Osheen didn't really like crowds either, but she could handle them better than her twin. Lilac eyes easily saw her sister near a bench and the young adult grinned as she rushed over to her. | Osheen literally ran across the cobblestone pathway in order to close the distance between them, and then demanded that Sage show her Pokémon to her right away. The fact that she added “first” earned Osheen a scowl as the older and slightly taller of the two crossed her arms over her chest. “No, we should reveal them together.” She told her with a bit of a huff, feeling annoyed with the fact that she had come out and the first thing she had to say to her was a demand. Although, she knew that Osheen was just excited — but her excitement was making her be insensitive! | Sage noticed the way Osheen’s smile broadened into an outright grin and she could feel herself becoming further annoyed with the fact that the lighter brunette wasn’t taking her seriously. This was a rather important time; a time to be sentimental and… careful, but she was clearly just going through another one of her hyper spells and practically jumping off the walls. “That’s fine. I just wanted to see if I could get you to do it first,” Osheen chimed and went on to grab a pokeball from her belt, which Sage presumed to be the starter she had received from Professor Oak. “You know how I feel about stuff like that, so it’s not very funny.” She was certainly the mood ruiner, but she didn’t care at the moment, and didn’t find the humor in Osheen’s gleeful, teasing, mood. { outfit } || @adira ( ooc: I still look forward to the reveal. ^^ ) |

She felt her heart pitter-pattering away within her chest and she realized her sister was angry at her. It was exposing...and made her feel awful because she hadn't realized anything was wrong. The lighter brunette fell deathly quiet and just started to fiddle with her Pokéball. The two of them were twins, but even that wasn't enough to spare her from messing things up. It would have been much easier if she could just read her mind...then she'd never make mistakes. "S-Sorry," she mumbled out, but she didn't even know what she was apologizing for. She tried to think back on what it was that she had done to upset her, but she couldn't figure it out. | Finally, Osheen seemed to notice the fact that she wasn’t in a good mood; but only because, by this point, she had made it completely obvious. When her sister apologized and settled down, Sage just let out a heavy sigh and felt all of the tension fold out of her body. “It’s fine…,” She told her… a little begrudgingly. But, did add to hopefully express herself and the fact that she was still excited and interested in what they were doing together; “I’m still interested in seeing our Pokémon. But, I just wasn’t feeling well, after everything that’s happened on the way here, and I felt like you weren’t being sensitive to that.”Sage pursed her lips, straightened, and brought one of her hands through her hair. “I know that you don’t have the same problems as me, when it comes to going into a place by yourself or talking to strangers.” She went on. “So, I feel like we were just on two different wave lengths. —Nothing could stop all that excitement going through your veins. She could feel herself getting emotional and her eyes were burning even though everything was fine between them. That was something else about herself that she didn't like. Sage rarely cried, but she cried all the time. "I'm sorry..." she told her again and ended up hugging her from the side. "I didn't mean to upset you," Osheen told her softly and could feel herself sniffling a little. But she drew away and tried to stop herself from crying. "I wanted this day to be perfect," she mumbled and just seemed muted down. It was nice of Sage to explain and also make a joke. But the emotional energy was zapped out of her and with it went her hyper spirit. "We can show our Pokémon now," she told her and still had the ball in her hand. | Osheen apologized again and even moved forward to wrap her arms around her shoulder and give her an awkward side-hug. “I wanted this day to be perfect,” She complained against the fabric of her dress shirt, her voice muffled, and Sage just lightly itched at one corner of her face, her gaze turning off to the side before she glanced around the area to take in their surroundings. After a moment, though, she offered her a pat of support just before Osheen pulled back to tell her that they could go ahead and show their Pokémon to each other now. “It is still perfect,” Sage tried to reassure her, and with a bit of a mischievous grin, even reached out to pinch at Osheen’s cheek and pull it wide. “I feel better already.  notes: ♪Her brows drew upwards and her features shifted into a more warm and genuine expression. She even smiled a little when her sister pinched her cheek. The slightly younger twin could be easily swayed between her emotions she just needed the right push. "Well I'm glad," she told her softly and with a cheeky crinkle of her nose. "Let's go ahead and show our Pokémon."The two of them readied themselves by counting to three and then through a big flash of white light their starters were revealed. "...Bulbasaur?!?!" Osheen exclaimed loudly and with her mouth opened wide. | Sage was glad when Osheen cheered up rather well, and replaced the worry that had been on her features with a genuine smile. After all, she wanted them both to remember their first day, and the reveal of their starter Pokémon, as a fond and sentimental memory. With a smile of her own, Sage readied her pokeball as well while they both counted down from three, laughing along the way. Out of a burst of bright light, two Bulbasaur’s appeared — to which Sage immediately began laughing, and Osheen groaned in dismay. “Noooo, we picked the same starter!” She sounded so utterly crestfallen, and frustrated, although playfully so, as she smacked her face and tilted her head back. The large crimson and rounded eyes of her Bulbasaur blinked and looked between the her and Osheen and she spoke up in a cute, innocent, confused sort of way. “Bulba bulba.” Sage was actually surprised to find that Bulbasaur was much cuter than she had anticipated when having the Pokémon up close and personal. It looked like some sort of baby dinosaur, all compact and plump. “Aww, come on, it’s not so bad,” Sage laughed as she squatted down to her Bulbasaur’s level and reached her hand out tentatively, waiting for her Pokémon’s acceptance, and then began to pet her on her round, chubby, head. “We are twins, after all.” She further joked, looking up toward her sister. “Of course we’d end up picking the same Pokémon.”{ outfit } || @adira ( ooc: Hehe~ ) |
