As soon as his pokemon were done eating Church finally stood up and headed for the road leading to the rolling hills. Now that they were well fed it was time to work off that energy and get some training done. they still had a long way to go if he wanted them ready for the first gym on the docket. Milo, a grass-type trainer. Flying, bug, poison, or fire would be good against him. Too bad Church didn't have any of those. He was beginning to think it would have been easier if he had chosen a Scorbunny instead, but after a few minutes he decided this was for the best. At least Chibi would be useful at the second gym which specialized in water-types. Lost in thought, Church vanished down the road leading to the rolling fields.

Briar Bellerose Briar was proud of herself...for all of five minutes. She had stumbled a bit on the first step of her journey but she had managed to get her Starter. What was she supposed to do now? She still hadn't figured out which region she was going to be training in. Galar was out of the question. She had gotten her starter there but she didn't want to lurk in the region any longer than necessary. Johto maybe? Or maybe Kanto? Hoenn? There were far too many choices. Briar sat down on one of the benches outside of the train station while she looked up things about the different regions on her phone. Her Sobble seemed thrilled about every potential place they could visit. Bidi was slightly more skeptical. He was every bit as excited about the idea of an adventure as the Sobble was but they needed to pick somewhere Briar could manage. Out of their Pokeballs:

Briar Bellerose Briar continued to mindlessly browse her phone until something caught Bidi's attention. There was a fair going on! He placed a paw on her hand when he saw the article and stared at it until she clicked on it. She skimmed the article while Bidi wiggled next to her. They didn't have to go to a new region immediately. They could hang out at the fair for a while instead! Briar was concerned. She wasn't sure how well she would do in such a crowded place. With Bidi and her Sobble there with her she could handle it, right? She could keep it together for them. Maybe. She probably should have rejected the idea but Bidi looked so excited. Briar Bellerose Briar found herself sitting on the next train to Hulbury. The city felt like the best route out of Galar- be it to the fair or where ever else she decided to go. She was nervous about the fair but her stress level was surprisingly low all things considered. If she could handle getting her starter, she could deal with something like a fair. That was what she was going to keep telling herself anyway. She hoped that she wasn't wrong. Bidi was looking forward to the fair and she didn't want to ruin it for him. Minako "Skye" Afton The Future Top Coordnator Of All Regions Ready to set out, Minako gathered her belongings in the pokecenter and headed out the door, her Galiga beside her her hoothoots pokeball on her belt. She was ready to head out again and maybe catch some mons elsewhere, and decided to take the train to Motostoke, as it would probably be her best bet. She boarded the train at the station, bidding Wedgehurst a farewell. She was excited on what they would find in Motostoke and the surrounding areas. They had decided to not go to the wild area for now, as it seemed dangerous. As Aurora and Minako were riding the train, she was singing the sogn which came on which was the Afton Family Remix. A Few strangers on the train looked at her but somone jammed along with her. The teenager got off however at the wild area, and the train continued to the city of Motostoke. Perhaps Minako would meet that stranger personally one day. Soon after a bit more trvalling, the train stopped in Motostoke her stop. "Thanks for the lift, train conductor man!" she said to which the conductor just nodded waving her and the others stopping in Motostoke off before heading off once more. Her species was a sad one, he was familiar with Corsola out in the ocean of course, but if they got caught by polluted waters, they didn’t always make it as their coral horns were stripped of nutrients necessary for them to live off of. She was a ghost type now, but that didn’t make her any less interesting to Finn, he could appreciate her for what she was, a creature just still trying to make her way in the world despite losing everything that she once knew.
A Rookidee had bounced out of a set of bushes, and Finn encouraged Avisa to see if she could engage in a small battle, he knew that the Corsola likely wasn’t confident in her new power yet as a ghost, but he wanted to make sure that he fostered the correct outlook for her. Just as he was trying to do for himself, she should work to acknowledge, and then maybe eventually embrace this part of her.
Idling for a bit longer, Finn heard a tone from his Pokedex device, which was odd in and of itself. He didn’t recall receiving notifications on it before, and he could really only think of one or two people that might be contacting him at a given moment. Instead though it was an invitation? He was soured on invitations as a whole, the last one he received was one of the worst experiences of his life, and he had the scars to show for it, the physical ones at least… But this place… Discovery Island? It actually did sound familiar… He’d heard a news story about it once, that it was supposed to be some scientist facility working on something or other, but they were going to be opening to the public to show their work. It had been some time since he’d enthused himself with what he’d grown up around, history, artifacts, fossils, everything that his parents were so keen to tend to as curators of the museum back home… Things that he had always enjoyed but hadn’t given himself the opportunity to indulge in for a while now. If he was choosing his own path now and trying to make decisions based on what he wanted to do and not what could grant him passage back to his ship and crew… Why shouldn’t he accept this opportunity and see what it was about?

It was a very beautiful town, almost too good to be true. She had her Hisuian Growlithe out of her pokeball, and smiled. "Look apollo1 This city is so pretty!" The small rock doggo barked in agreement. It indeed was extremely pretty. As the two walked on they witnessed a battle, but passed on by as they wished to explore a bit more instead, deciding to check out the nearest Salon first. Wisteria got her hair put into a long ponytail and then headed to buy some new clothes. Afterword, she looked around and saw a berry market. She thought of buying some, but considered against it.
