That hurricane faded to a heavy wind, a gust, a breeze, and finally died. Typhlosion was about to set Noctowl down, but the owl flew off into the air again on his own. The bear huffed, and stared down one of the remaining enemies. Fire erupted at his scruff and he didn't even wait for an attack to use Fire Blast. Shiinotic fired a moon beam from above, and both attacks hit and did their damage. Both Pokemon looked equally weak, and both Pokemon repeated the same attacks on each other. Now they were both barely standing, it looked like this would come down to whoever fell first when a burn flared to life on Shiinotic and it blacked out. Typhlosion roared and slumped over. Arcanine had fallen over sometime in the last battle, Noctowl was flying, but looked as if one good hit would finish him. Persian had already been defeated towards the beginning of this War, and Julian was left with three options. He could hope Noctowl could defeat both remaining Pokemon on his last leg, or... he did have two Pokemon left, but one of them was a winged Dragon who couldn't work his wings. The other... he dreaded the reaction of this town realizing that the kid who had captured a God was back here, as though spitting in their faces.

The next one was identical to the last, another mushroom-headed Shiinotic that could have been it's twin. Noctowl fought bravely, even managing to put it to sleep and hit it with a Sky Attack, and even a couple Moonblasts. It woke up and returned the Moonblast, sending Noctowl to the ground. Julian recalled the owl, and had a decision to make right then and there. Shiinotic and the Mawile from earlier were beginning to walk at him. Typhlosion wouldn't have been able to handle them both, and Julian didn't want to make him try.

He threw out a Pokeball and Nightrial appeared in a burst of red light. The advancing enemies hesitated, they clearly thought he had no other Pokemon on him. Nightrial instantly leapt into action, using Flamethrower at them both. Mawile dove into the alley, but Shiinotic took the full force of this Fire-Type attack. Flames lapped over it, the wild Pokemon dove into the water to put itself out. When it resurfaced, it swam away as fast as it could.

Nightrial faced Mawile, and they both looked ready to tear the other apart piece by piece. Julian didn't like the way they were staring daggers at one another, but if Nightrial couldn't stop this Mawile cold then he had the feeling Mawile would be tearing him into pieces next. He had to have that faith he'd felt earlier. His heart seemed to freeze in his chest when the battle began. Nightrial drew first blood, Flamethrower washing over Mawile's body. It swing around and bit down around Nightrial's head, teeth digging into it's neck. It looked as though it were about to bite his dragon's head off, but flames erupted through the gaps between teeth, Nightrial was breathing fire directly into Mawile's maw! It tried to resist, but that was the sort of attack that nothing could withstand. Julian returned his Pokemon, and ignoring the unconscious Pokemon all around him, ran as fast as he possibly could back to the Pokemon Center. Gasping, he hurriedly put all of his injured Pokemon on the tray and stared at Nurse Joy with a meaningful look. She seemed to get the hint and rushed off to the back saying something he could neither hear nor read on her lips.

He was staring down at Zekrom's Pokeball, thinking about everything, so he didn't notice when Nurse Joy came over to him an hour later She had tried speaking to him for a minute, before realizing that he was deaf and tapping his shoulder. He jumped a little and looked up, but she was carrying the tray with one hand, like a Waitress with a tray of food. He got up, nodding his thanks and gathering up his Pokeballs. He didn't want to go back out on the streets, this place was noibat-shit crazy. He just wanted to get out of here. So he walked back to the room the others were in and raised a hand to knock. Something stopped him, though he wasn't sure what. His guides seemed calm and collected, so it wasn't like danger lurked on the other side of this door... but in a way, it did. Being around Liz was dangerous for him. He couldn't think straight when he was around her, and that was likely to get him killed one day. He changed his mind and, rather than knocking, swung open the door and nonchalantly walked in. They didn't need to know that he had just been attacked by a second crowd on the Alto Mare streets, and he wasn't about to tell them. Cronus seemed too preoccupied with Liz to read his mind, so he fell back on his bed and rolled to face the wall away from the others. Umbreon and Espeon jumped up and curled up at the foot of his bed, they were comfortably asleep beside their Trainer at last.

Liz couldn't help but smile at the way both Marcellus and Cronus offered her their assistance. She still looked perturbed, approaching Cronus and looking at his face but not touching him like he could tell she wanted to. "You'll be OK?" She asked, voice full of concern. She didn't know Psychic Pokemon, and she certainly did not know Mewtwo's immense psionic powers, but she knew what could happen if anybody worked themselves too hard. "If your head hurts, stop. It's not worth pain just to give Ma my Box." The redhead insisted, looking Cronus in the eye if he were acknowledging her in such a way. She glanced to Marcellus while Cronus got to work on hacking Bill's PC and changing its codes. "Hmm. Well, ask him? Maybe he'll give you his webpage and you can text him there." She remarked, thoughtful about how the Porygon could stay in touch so that Marcellus' Mewtwo didn't have to become a computer expert. If she wasn't so distracted with the Storage and thinking of a way to reach Flux, she would have remembered to ask where Marcellus found Cronus. He wasn't a pretty creature like she preferred, but his powers were strong and he seemed like a friendly enough fellow. She wouldn't mind catching her own Mewtwo someday...If only it worked that way.

The door slid open and Julian walked in and Liz quickly fell quiet. She felt he was still angry with her and didn't want to exasperate his confusion. Still, things couldn't go on this way. "Julian! You're just in time. Cronus is fixing my Storage for me." She announced to him, neglecting a moment that he was deaf. She wasn't going to expect Cronus to track thoughts while he was playing with the computers. And she didn't realize that Espeon could probably handle the interpretation since she forgot it was also Psychic. Her brief silence grew uncomfortable again as she thought about the last time they were in Alto Mare. "It sounds like a lot of work. Once he's done we'll go. Is that OK?" She queried, hoping he was at least to the point where he would acknowledge her again. The red-haired woman had a lock between her thumb and forefinger just below her temple that she was fidgeting nervously with. "J-Julian?" Liz did not take silence well. Back when Noctowl could interpret Julian would at least give her something to listen to. Having Noctowl unable to use Psychic and Julian upset with her was wracking the poor girl's nerves!

Cronus had already immersed himself within the coding as Liz offered her concern. He of course was still present, but his main focus was on hacking bill's systems. He had heard her, even though he stayed quiet. He wasn't sure how he should take the comment. Of course, it was from honest concern, so he should take it and be grateful. But did she doubt his abilities that much? It was very pretentious of him to think, and expect everyone to know and understand his great power but he couldn't help it. He didn't let the naivety of her comment bother him, and took it as a sweet gesture. The only other person that treats him this way, not watching to burden him, was Emiri. and He could greatly appreciate them not watching to bother him. Marcellus listened to Liz's idea on keeping touch with Flux. "That is the easiest option, I believe." he told her with a nod. "I've just elected to leave him be. If I need him I'm sure Cronus or one of my other Pokemon could pluck him out in a time of need." He told her with a wave of his hand, not worried about the program. He hadn't really needed the little guy since the battle with the glitch was over with. After he very roughly teleported them back from the mountain, he really had no use for it. It was a sweet program, but he had no real use for the Pokemon.

Before he thought to much on the matter of Flux, and getting in contact with him again, the door slid open. Julian had walked into the room silently with two eeveelutions in tow. If he had them out while at the beach, Marcellus couldn't remember. He was too preoccupied at the time to notice them if so. Cronus didn't budge from his spot in the corner, however Marcellus followed the male with his eyes and head as he passed by. Liz exclaimed her joys for the storage being fixed to Julian, however it was fairly unclear if the male got any of it. He was deaf, Marcellus had got that, but he was sure Cronus was ignoring the male, and he wasn't sure if his Espeon was translating to him, or if she could. All Psychic type's abilities varied, so maybe she specialized in some other ability. However he seemed to have not heard or ignored it as he climbed in bed and turned away from them entirely. Marcellus's eyebrows raised as he looked the teen over, as a sigh escaped him which might be read as annoyed, but after a moment of Liz speaking he turned back to her with his neutral expression. She offered to leave after Cronus was done. "Of course, I have a few Pokemon taking care of the manor, so I don't mind going along with you both." He told her, even though he was sure that wasn't what she meant. "If you are ready, I'm sure we can get started, and Cronus can catch up." He told her, unsure of where they were actually going, as well as he didn't know how long it would take Cronus. He could see the nerves on Liz as she fiddled with a lock of hair and looked towards Julian. After she spoke his name, Marcellus took that as his cue to mind his business. He turned back around, straightening his silver vest, and adjusting his puffy shirt as he moved over to his pack. He began to fish out the Pokeballs he had with him. If they were indeed going to leave, he didn't want to argue with Angelique or to deal with a half asleep Novu, so he could just return them.

Espeon, as ever, was pretty much indifferent to the fact Liz was talking to Julian. She didn't care much about the fact that others were talking, she had been trained to keep him out of traffic and act as a sort of guide. She was an over-glorified babysitter, but she still cared for her Trainer. Umbreon on the other hand was judging Julian's leg. He glanced down, then realizing what Umbreon was trying to tell him, looked around at Liz.

He sat up, noting how she seemed to be in distress. What, had something happened? Had he just walked past her when the two had been dealing with some sort of Trauma? Or... was she upset because he'd just interrupted something? Numerous questions that could have easily been answered by taking a moment to think rationally and read the situation a little better. Marcellus didn't seem all that upset, so he doubted the other Male was putting the moves on Liz.

He focused and discovered the words 'we'll go'. So, they were going to go off on their own? No, that didn't make sense, they could have just told him to get another room. Unless... did they mean the three of them would be ready to leave? That was something he could get on board with. He nodded his head and made an O with his thumb and forefinger, the universal symbol for 'ok'. He looked over at Cronus, but the Psychic-Type was too busy to translate. That was fine, he'd gotten along this far in life without a translator. He rummaged around in his bag for a pen and paper, jotting down one word and handing it to Liz. - MAHOGANY - He was finally ready to get his revenge.

No sounds from Julian had Liz in a fit of worry. He didn't believe her. Not only that, but he blamed and hated her for it. And why wouldn't he? She was so preoccupied beating herself up over Julian's silence that she took a moment to realize he had acknowledged her. She blinked at the "OK" gesture, nodding slowly as if she were the one needing things explained. When he wrote "MAHOGANY" on his notebook Liz knit her brows in a clear show of confusion and mild frustration. "'Mahogany'? I mean, I guess Ma could order some? Why do we need wood?" She queried as she straightened up from reading his note. A moment would pass by of silence as it had to be processed that the redhead was not joking in the slightest. Yes, she knew of Mahogany Town. She actually knew who Pryce was, even. She had spent so little time interested in the Pokemon League that she forgot Mahogany was the city where the Ice Gym was located. Liz would be royally embarrassed when the information was spelled out for her, but she was still terribly lost until that moment came. Once it did occur, Liz would flush with dismay at her own ignorance and droop her head. "R-right...Mahogany Town. I knew that!" She mumbled bashfully, letting her bangs hang in her face to protect her shame-filled eyes.

Marcellus seemed too careless about his Pokemon and that was getting to the young woman. She understood that some of this disregard came from the fact that his Pokemon were quite clearly capable of handling themselves, she just couldn't comprehend the idea of letting Cherry wander around without her. Maybe Psychics made that sort of thing different. She still failed to hide a sharp scowl at the man before turning again to Cronus. This time, at least, she didn't say anything to catch the man by surprise again. She poised in front of the Mewtwo and quietly reached out to cup her hand beside his hear...she was pretty sure it was an ear. "I know you already hear us, but...will you be OK if we went ahead?" Her voice was low and careful. Like she could somehow tell he was somewhere she could briefly interrupt the Psychic Legend. She had a soft yet disappointed smile. She knew Cronus would probably be fine, but she didn't agree with the idea of leaving him alone just because they could. "I can wait with you, too." Liz added. Mewtwo had already given her the clear signals that he didn't much like people. She at least wanted Cronus to know he had the option of company if he would rather not be left all by himself while handling a task somebody else had already put him up to. Once that decision was made, Liz was all ready to head back to Johto's main land. She looked around the room as if looking for something. Her hair was falling loose from the cap on her head before she decided to sweep it off and shake her hair out into its natural state.

Marcellus continued to dig through his pack for their Pokeballs. Without Cronus paying attention, the Pokeballs didn't just appear in his hand. The male had gotten use to it, but he never really asked Cronus to do that for him. He figured Cronus would rather teleport something simply rather then wait for him to look for it. It probably was the lesser of two annoyances. He knew Cronus as still present, as well as he knew the psychic was always listening and watching in one form or another, but Marcellus thought he was cutting himself off on purpose, maybe as his own vacation of sorts. Marcellus had found the Pokeballs and returned Novu, Josette, and Angelique so they could sleep soundly in their Pokeballs. He had just stashed them away as he heard Liz behind him, ask about ordering Mahogany wood. Marcellus paused for a moment, he had head Julian shift in the bed but he hadn't turned to see what he was doing or saying. If they were having a quarrel or he was in a bad mood that wasn't going to be his problem, how ever it was quite the opposite. The white hair trainer turned back to face the two as Liz realized what he meant, as well as it dawned on him. They were going to Mahogany. He let out a look of discomfort. Last time he was in Mahogany Town, he was in trapped in the mountain with that glitch. After running for his life, and getting blasted by waves of energy by the beast, while the Team Neo Rocket base inside began to be devoured and decoded by the monstrous Missingno. along with half of Team Neo Rocket and Plasma itself. After being blasted by the beast nearly his entire team was defeated, him and Emiri barely made it out of the cave in with their lives, along with his new friend Sasori. He took a breath and let it go as he knew that Bill had taken care of the beast, and the base was gone along with part of Neo Rocket which was good news to him. In his worry, he had almost missed Liz's scowl, almost. He turned back to his pack as began to get it ready with a bit of confusion.

Marcellus was right about Cronus. He was intentionally shutting himself away. He almost wanted to be back in the quiet island of the reserve, and not in the sprawling floating city he was in. In his mind he was, it was always relaxing being outside of highly populated areas, or any populated area really. So many drifting thoughts that were all talking at once, so many emotions, dreams, voices, all in one place. It too effort to block them all out. Add all of that on to him having to watch over the Manor, Emiri, and researching Raphiel, as well as what was on his own agenda... it was all a bit much. But the psychic had decided that he was going to take a nice break from all that, and focus on what he wanted, as well as the current task at hand which he began to find interesting. He never felt the need to code anything or enter cyber space, but once he latched onto a Porygon2 and began into it, if was fairly interesting to him. Almost like a while new world. He could still hear everything happening, and feel Liz move closer as she began to whisper into one of his horns. He didn't move, but he couldn't help but wonder why she felt the need to move so closely to him. Her sentiment was charming, and somewhat appreciated, but what she missed was the fact that he would rather them leave him there alone. She was whispering, he could see that she was trying to be inconspicuous about her concerns. He could feel Marcellus's attention bore into him as he couldn't hear what was happening, while he remained casual about his pack. "I'll be fine." Liz would have heard in her mind, though the psychic appeared not to move. "I might actually get more work done if I were alone." He informed without moving, which was true. Cronus didn't find being alone lonely, at least not when it was in short increments. After a moment of silence, one of his eyes cracked open slightly and focused on her. "I appreciate your concern." He thanked psychically. At least that was as much of a thanks anyone could get from the psychic. He closed his eye again before Marcellus chimed in. "I think with that, we're ready to go?" He spoke with his pack on, almost as if he were asking if they were ready. He wasn't sure what Liz had to whisper about but he didn't try and dwell on it. "However," He started, and then looked to Julian. "My mode of transportation is a bit busy, we might need to fly there on one of your Pokemon you kindly showed us earlier." Marcellus spoke. Without Cronus, he didn't have anyone he trusted to teleport or fly on. Articuno would sooner freeze him if he asked to fly on the legendary, while Inanna was capable of levitation, the last flight Starmie had was a bit rough as she crash landed into a tree. Anyone at home he felt the same... He didn't trust them to fly on, only Julius, but he knew the automation needed to be at home to watch the house and garden with Macon and Hera. So he hoped he could trust Julian to safely fly them there.

Order... order some? He stared at her for a moment, then jotted the word 'TOWN' on the same piece of paper. She said she'd known that, but somehow he didn't buy that. Julian looked over at Marcellus, but even though he'd looked at them a minute ago, he was back to leafing through a bag and returning his Pokemon. He was definitely ready to go, Julian had been waiting to get the hell out of this City since they'd appeared back here. However, Marcellus brought up a problem. If Cronus couldn't teleport them, how were they going to get out of here? Marcellus expected most of Julian's team to be able to fly, but Nightrial could barely keep himself in the air and Zekrom would likely be offended. He was a God, after all. There was no way Pidgeot, even if he was larger than the average, would be able to carry all three of them. He hesitated, and shrugged his shoulders in a 'I give up' Gesture. He grabbed his bag, recalled the Eeveelutions, and lead the way out onto the street. Pidgeot appeared when Julian aimed the Pokeball, and he looked at them. His arm raised towards Pidgeot, another common signal - 'after you'. It became apparent that Julian wasn't going to call out his other Pokemon, and simply stared at Marcellus hoping he'd get the idea that Julian's other Pokemon wouldn't be able to fly them there.

She didn't like the idea of leaving Cronus all alone, but she couldn't argue with the Legendary himself declaring his desire to stay by himself. Liz couldn't help feeling bad about it even as she readied to go with the boys. Learning that Cronus was Marcellus' main way around made the redhead's guilty conscience pang again. Astro could fly no problem, but for all of his heroic attitude Liz highly doubted the new Ledian could handle carrying a grown man. Liz also didn't know that the move Fly was necessary to teach Pokemon how to carry passengers. She looked between the males nervously as she grew tense. "I-I caught a Noibat...I don't think she's big enough to carry you. Sorry." She said with an apologetic frown. She looked to Julian in the vain hope that her partner had something he could do to help. Maybe. Hopefully? Liz wasn't sure. She only knew that she was no help for right now. She wasn't about to make a move for Pidgeot either until a plan had been worked out. She was already leaving Cronus behind, she wouldn't leave Marcellus too without knowing they had a solution for this!

Marcellus was ready to head out, it didn't bother him to leave Cronus behind. The psychic usually liked to be left alone, as well as he seemed to go off on his own as he pleased. After a glance, as Julian began to lead the way out of the room he had gotten them, the corner was empty. Marcellus's squinted for a moment, trying to see closer if Cronus was actually still there and just happened to cloak himself or if he had actually left. He, of course, couldn't see anything but Cronus had cloaked himself, the thought of it was to easy the anxiousness of Liz having to leave him. Maybe if he was gone as well it would make her feel less guilty for it. He wasn't much of a sentimental Pokemon, but she went out of her way for his feelings, he could at least return the favor in a simple way, it only seemed fair.

Marcellus followed Liz and Julian out the door, he had returned his Pokemon, and it was a rather quiet walk out of the center. Julian lead them to the street after a shrug, and he waited for him to let out his Pokemon. Marcellus hadn't really expected him to fly on Zekrom, he knew Articuno would freeze him sooner then he'd let him fly on him, but he was sure Julian had a few other Pokemon he could fly on. Marcellus actually hadn't realized that Julian had a Nightrial, or at least it hadn't dawned on him that it was another Pokemon that he hadn't heard of outside his father's journal. He especially didn't realize that he had his own variant, still unaware of what Ryer actually was. Julian let out his Pidgeot, which looked large like Emiri's though it seemed much less aggressive then hers, which was a welcomed sight. Though, it was large, it was shaped differently, and was interesting, however it wasn't large enough to carry three full sized humans. The white haired trainer looked over to Julian as he just gestured for Liz to climb aboard. Marcellus hesitated, waiting for another Pokemon, but nothing came. Marcellus's eyes narrowed at the teen, and his lips tightened every so slightly, unaware that the teen didn't have anything capable of flight, because it wasn't explained to him. The look was only for a quick moment before Liz commented on offering her little noibat, though she knew it wouldn't work. He looked to her quickly as a smile snapped back onto his face, as if he wasn't bothered at all. "Oh, it's quite alright Elizabeth, I don't think she could carry me either." He commented, using her full name finding it much more appealing rather then the shortened version. "I appreciate the offer," He began, still looking at Liz. "You two can go ahead and get a head start, I'll just make a quick call home, and I'll catch up with you." He explained calmly, He glanced to Julian for a moment, before turning back around, and beginning back into the Pokecenter to use their video phone to call home and have someone send over a Pokeball.

Julian would have liked to tell them the problem verbally, but without the psychic connection provided by Cronus he'd had to present the problem by showing them, and letting them figure it out on their own. It became quite clear to the others that Pidgeot could not support the trio, and that Julian had no other Pokemon that could fly. Ideas were tossed around, some more realistic than others (Noibat? Really?) In the end, it was decided that Marcellus would retrieve a Pokemon from storage who would help get him to Mahogany. Julian got onto Pidgeot, and motioned for Liz to get on as well. Even so, they waited for Marcellus to return. Julian didn't want to leave the other Male behind, it felt like a bad omen and somewhere deep inside he was developing a respect and like for the other guy.

"Huh. Fair enough. Apparently there's more to Johto than I'm giving it credit for." Elfana's eyes lit up when their boat arrived in Alto Mare. It was gorgeous. If they didn't have so many other regions to get through still, she probably would have spent a while there. That didn't mean she couldn't spend the day there, so she did exactly that. She visited the museum first. The opportunity to learn a little more about the city was far too good to pass up. The parks were next. Her team was let out of their Pokeballs and allowed to go play with the other Pokemon in the area. The more antisocial Pokemon like Kiro and Liandry remained right next to her but that was fine. She enjoyed their company. Given how nice the area was, she decided it was the perfect place for more pictures- something she hadn't bothered with since Ecruteak. She managed to take more pictures with her phone in one hour at the park than she had in entirety of the time she had owned her phone. Stopping at the Pokemon Center was almost an afterthought. She got her book stamped before she could forget before heading back out to see what else she could find in the town.

Lastly, Kira ended up in Alto mare. She went to the Pokemon Center to get the stamp, but ended up staying for dinner. By the time she and Lucy were done eating, she decided to spend the night here. When the night was finished, Kira and Lucy spent some time resting. Kira got a shower and ended up laying down on her bed talking with Lucy. The blue hound was sitting on the edge of her bed, musing over how much further they had to go. They both knew. There was ten left, enough to tick off from each finger. The dragons were off exploring the rocky pillars erected into the sky like earthen monuments. They could find the ideal spots to nest for the night. It was a good night, and they were finally back to their proper daily progress.

Counting down still, with only six stamps left in the entire world, Emiri and her Pokemon were ready to keep going as they left off from Goldenrod. They were still going strong, enjoying their time together, and keeping each other entertained as they made each flight. Burst hung around and was sat on Hantu’s back as they flew for a while, where Cerian and the baby stayed on Kovu’s back most of the time, though if the baby was with Emiri in her lap or on Nimbus’ tail, Cerian did spend some time between Kovu and Salamence, since he had grown to know the dragon more after they got separated in the canyons.
Out in the southern oceans of the Johto Region, Emiri remembered visiting Altomare the first time, and always found it to be a wonderfully whimsical place, kind of like Rota in a way or Laverre City, but with it’s own image and history that it maintained. The floating city came up over the horizon as Emiri and her Pokemon flew over the water, and those who had never visited before like Hantu, Galahad, or Nimbus, all marveled at the city on water as they came up on the skyline, but even Emiri’s Pokemon that had been there before still found the city to be fascinating. The canals that flowed like city streets, the bridges that connected things together, it was all so beautiful and Emiri smiled at the sound of the bells ringing through the city from the museum in the distance. Emiri found the Pokemon Center and gained her next stamp after a few moments there, and then she was ready to keep on track for the end.
