Chingling Brothers Fair- Pokemon Only PokePark

The group continued to train hard, fueled as much by the desire to become stronger as they were the fear of being abandoned by their trainer. For most of them this was a new type of fear, but they trusted that Klutch's warning was genuine, and so they trained. Being the weakest among them, Rowl seemed especially inspired to get stronger. Even though he had evolved he knew he still had a long way to go compared to the others, nor could he trust himself to win at the gym just yet. Fear remained on everyone's minds.

As the sun shifted in the sky Klutch figured it would be time to leave soon. She glanced toward the gate to see a lone figure standing there waiting and instantly she jolted upright. How long had Church been standing there? Hopefully not long, she feared to make him angry with her. Immediately she leaped to her feet and led the others over to meet church, her head down as she neared him. Personally she thought she had done a good job given the short time she had been given, but she wasn't sure Church would see it the same.

Church arrived at the gates leading to the park and released all of his pokemon besides those who wouldn't fight in the upcoming gym, Sheer and Chibi. 
"Alright Lilith, I need you to shape up this crew. Got it?" Lilith gave a growl in reply before heading onward through the gates.
"By the way, your names are now Kazi and Gear." Church added as the two new members of his team passed by, thinking up the names on the spot as always. The group followed Lilith into the park, a few dragging their feet as if knowing the hell that awaited them. "Have fun!" Church added with a grin as he turned and headed back towards the game area. He had his own business to take care of.

With a stomp Lilith brought the group to a stop and loomed over them. Nyx remained off to the side, watching, unsure how she felt about this whole ordeal. Lilith left her alone, for now, and focused on the rest of the pokemon.
"Rowl, Kazi, spar together and show me what you got. No moves." Lilith growled, lowering her muzzle even with Rowl's head. Rowl nervously took up a spot next to Kazi and tried to figure the Cramorant out. So far Kazi seemed rather... unremarkable. Rowl didn't understand why his master had even bothered catching him. Even now he was looking about chaotically at everything that moved, totally unaware of Rowl. Sensing an opening, and desperately wanting to impress Lilith, Rowl shot foreword and aimed a punch at the stupid bird without warning. However Kazi was no longer there. Rowl felt something land on his head and jump away a moment before a sharp beak struck him in the spine. With a growl of surprise and perhaps fear, Rowl spun around and lashed out at his attacker. However, Kazi easily managed to spin away from Rowl's attack to land a little ways away, staring off into space once again as if nothing had happened. Confused and angry, all Rowl could do was stare dumbstruck at the Cramorant. What had just happened?

Lilith silently watched her teammates fight with a grim expression. They weren't anything special, but she could work with this. At least, she was determined to work with this and make them stronger. Church trusted her to do so, so she would. 
"Faster, Rowl." She growled as she watched Kazi dance all around the Toxitricity. As unintelligent as the Cramorant seemed, she had to admit it had good speed and instinct. Much more than Rowl at least. It took a good thirty minutes before Rowl even landed a blow, and even then it was a glancing one. Still, progress was progress.

As the training continued, Rowl quickly became exhausted. He was sore everywhere from Kazi's beak and could barely hold up his arms when Lilith called a break. Not much had gone on with Maw and Gear's battle. The two heavy-weights had mostly wrestled and thrown their weight about, trying to push the other from a little ring Maw had drawn in the dirt. Lilith decided it was still good enough training, so she had allowed it.
"You all get fifteen minutes, make it count."

By the time the sun rose high in the sky, everyone was exhausted. Even Kazi seemed to have lost his energy during the agility training. By the time Lilith told them to stop, everyone dropped to the ground panting for air. Lilith smirked a little, remembering the time she and Chibi had been put through the same exercise by Church himself. It was simple, yet good for agility as well as stamina. She expected nothing less from an exercise her master made up himself.

As a low whistle rang through the air Lilith raised her head to listen. Church. With a stomp she got everyone onto their feet and marched them back to the entrance. She was satisfied by how tired and beat up they were. Surely Church would be proud of her work!
