Grim arrived back at the pokepark and smiled as he saw his pokemon in the distance playing with quite a few other pokemon. He felt a little sad that he had to end their fun but it was time to leave. He raised his hand to his mouth and let out a sharp whistle that echoed through the park. At once he saw Leer's head snap towards him, and after a few minutes of saying their goodbyes to their new friends, he saw all three of his pokemon run toward him. Why did he almost feel like a dad picking his kids up from daycare? As his pokemon reached him Leer glomped him and nearly knocked him over. He smiled and gave them all a few pets before returning them to their balls and making his exit. They had all had fun but it was now time to continue their journey.

After her new friend departed, Aria decided to join the little group near Anty. She started the climb up but paused halfway up. If the Ralts needed assistance, she would help her. After everyone that wanted to climb up had done so, the Steelix slowly lifted himself up to his full height. He was careful, not wanting to accidentally knock one of the smaller Pokemon off of him. Kayuki helped to keep both Geno and Ralts steady just in case. Aria had crawled to the edge of Anty's head, looking out at the view with excited wonder. She wished she could be as big as the Steelix. The view was amazing so high up!

After their meal Grim brought his pokemon back to the pokepark. He figured it would be a good chance for them to burn off some energy and have a little fun before they headed back to Galar to train. It was hard but important to balance training and fun, something Grim was still learning how to do. He led the group up to the gates and opened it for them, waving them all through with a smile. All but Moc and Tokumei, however, as the two stopped and refused to enter the park. Moc wanted to stay with Grim, while Tokumei found it stupid and had no interest. With a growl she jabbed her pokeball at Grim's waist and vanished in a flash to rest. Oh well, he supposed the others would have fun and him and Moc could head back to the games for awhile to kill time.

Luckett led the other three to the obstacle course and sat down, looking to them with a relaxed expression.
"If you all want to get stronger to help Grim, we should use this place to do some secret training. This obstacle course looks perfect for it." He said, flicking his tail at the course behind him and looking at the others. "Any objections?" Ronin, Raika, and Leer glanced at each other before shaking their heads. As much as they wanted to go see if their new friends were still here, they felt that they owed it to Grim to get stronger. With a flick of his tail Luckett led the way to the start of the course, stepping to the side for them to gather at the entrance. "Alright! Then lets see if we can work together to get to the end."

Luckett headed into the obstacle course first, hopping up onto a wooden post sticking out of the earth. From there he leaped from post to post across the first obstacle, keeping his balance with a flick of his tail before reaching the end. He turned back and watched as the others tried to copy him. Ronin hopped along pretty well, using his wings to steady himself. Raika and Leer had less luck. Leer wasn't sure how to do the obstacle without cheating and floating over it, while Raika was scrambling trying to get onto the first post. Eventually Leer decided to help Raika, giving her a shove from behind to get her onto the first post.

Once on the first post Raika had a little more luck of it. She bounced from post to post for a few moments before suddenly slipping off one and tumbling down to the ground with a surprised yelp.

"Try again." Luckett curled up and watched as Raika trotted back to the beginning with a growl, struggling to get on the first pole again until Leer once more helped her. Meanwhile Ronin slowly made his way over to Luckett before collapsing in a heap beside him. It had taken a lot out of his little legs to jump those last gaps.

Once again Raika hopped from post to post, this time being a little more aware of where her feet were landing as she went. It was hard with such small legs but she managed ok enough. She reached the others panting and flopped onto her side beside Luckett, her tail wagging happily. She had done it! Luckett smiled and licked her cheek before hopping to his feet. Raika blushed and also hopped to her feet, looking at him confused.
"Alright, on to the next part. Follow me." Luckett headed off and leaped onto a tightrope strung low over the ground, balancing across it with small flicks of his tail. Slowly but surely he made his way across and turned back to them.
"Ok now you guys go, one at a time so you don't shake each other off."

The three others looked at each other for a moment before Ronin fluffed up his feathers and approached the tightrope. If Lucket could do it so could he! He carefully hopped onto the rope and placed one foot in front of the other, going slow and using his wings for balance. He didn't see how Luckett made it look so easy. A few times Ronin slipped and hung upside-down for a few moments before righting himself with a few flaps of his wings. Still, it was rather embarrassing. By the time he made it over to Luckett he was huffing from the effort. Still, he had made it! Next up was Raika.

Raika looked at the tight rope skeptically as she approached it. She didn't have a large tail like Luckett did for balance and was nervous about falling, however she noticed Leer floating beside her and trusted her friend to not let her fall. She took it slower than the others, a few times wobbling and needing Leer to steady her. Raika's legs burned with the effort by the time she made it to the half way point but she pushed through it. She didn't want to look weak in front of Luckett. After a while she finally made it to the other end, panting hard but oddly excited. She had done it!

With a nod Luckett led the way to the next obstacle. This time it was a platform with hoops suspended from strings, and with a flick of his fluffy tail Luckett leaped through each hoop gracefully before landing at the end and turning back to them. Leer followed first, floating through the hoops with cries of joy and spinning around them. Raika and Ronin watched on wishing they could float so easily through them like that.

With a deep breath Raika followed the others and gave it her best shot. She bounced through the hoops one at a time, pushing off hard with her little legs to clear them. What she would give for Luckett's lithe body right now! Regardless she made it to the end and sat beside him with a triumphant look. Luckett gave her a smile before turning to watch Ronin fly through the hoops rather easily and join them. On to the next one, then!

The ragtag group followed Luckett as he moved on to the next obstacle confidently. This one seemed like a bunch of platforms scattered here and there. Without pause, Luckett jumped from one to the other to slowly make his way across the area, being careful not to fall off yet seeming to shine with confidence with every jump. The others, however, were less so. The platforms went up pretty high, and although Ronin and Leer could fly, Raika could not. The puppy pokemon stood at the edge of the first platform looking down with worry clear across her face. Yet she swallowed and faced the obstacle head on. She didn't want the others to think she was scared!

Raika slowly inched along the platform before preparing her jump, her rump wiggling for a moment before she leaped up onto the next platform. She felt shaky and sick as she looked down, a soft whimper escaping her throat despite her attempts to choke it back. She was scared, even more so than she was at the tightrope. Hearing the whimper, Luckett hopped back across the platforms until he reached Raika, draping his fluffy tail over her shoulders.
"We can skip this one if you'd like, Raika." He spoke softly and gently rubbed her cheek with his nose. Sure he wanted them to train to be stronger and catch up with Moc and Tokumei, but not at the cost of them getting hurt or being scared. He waited patiently as the Yamper seemed to mull the whole situation, eventually shaking her head. She wanted to keep going even if she was scared.

Luckett stuck close to Raika's side as she inched her way to the edge of the platform, his tail flicking out to steady her as she prepared to jump. She cleared the jump and landed at the next platform on shaky legs, but she did feel slightly more confident. The two slowly worked their way across the platforms with Ronin and Leer following anxiously, both ready to help should they fall. However everyone made it to the end without any mishaps. Glad the ordeal was over, Raika licked Luckett's ear in thanks and hurried onto the next obstacle before she could think about it enough to be embarrassed.

The group arrived at the last obstacle and Luckett once more took the lead. This time, however, the obstacle was more of a fun slide than any real challenge. The eevee smiled and jumped onto the slide, shooting down it with a cry of excitement before landing gracefully at the bottom and turning back to watch the others. One by one they all slid down the slide and landed in a laughing heap at the bottom.
"You all did great! Grim will be very proud if we keep this up!" Luckett said looking at them proudly.

Luckett was about to lead the others off to try a harder part of the obstacle course when Raika's excited yelp made him turn. The puppy pokemon came bounding up to him with something in her mouth, and before he could react she tossed it to him. He caught it in his tail out of reflex but almost immediately he started to feel a little funny. As he looked at the leaf stone resting on his tail his body began to glow and shift. The others stared in astonishment as Luckett suddenly evolved into a Leafeon. What's more, his coloring seemed odd. Instead of the normal tan coat and green leaves expected of a Leafeon, Luckett had a lush white coat and dark leaves. To Raika he looked stunningly handsome.

Luckett took a moment to look over his new form, rather surprised by the sudden change of events.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't know it would do that!" Raika looked terrified he'd be angry at her, but she relaxed as he laid his leafy tail over her shoulders.
"It's ok. Accidents happen, besides, if anything you just helped me get stronger. Now I can help you and Ronin at the next gym." As always Luckett was calm and collected with his thoughts. He had heard Grim mention the next gym being a water one, which was why he had been helping the others train. Now that he was a grass type he was confident they could defeat the gym if they all gave it their best shot. He just hoped Grim wouldn't mind him evolving on his own. He knew most humans had a preference when it came to his species evolving. Oh well, it wasn't like he could go back.

Luckett led the way over to a small pool so everyone could take a break and get a drink. He took a few laps of water for himself and watched the others drink with a little smile. It was kind of cute how they all followed him like baby ducklings. Though he did suppose he was the oldest out of this group. The only pokemon of Grim's that was around his age was Moc and Tokumei, and Moc didn't act her age at all. He sat back and enjoyed watching them all laze about and relax, deeming it good for them to do it while they could.

Ronin fluffed up his feathers and stepped into the pool to cool down, floating on the surface and stretching his wings out wide to either side. Leer gave a little screech of amusement and floated over to him, poking him and sending the little Rowlet floating in circles on the water. Raika laughed at Ronin's predicament but remained seated beside Luckett. She liked the leafeon's calm presence and kind words. Of Grim's pokemon he was hands down her favorite to be around. Call it puppy love.

Ronin struggled to stop spinning on the water's surface until Leer finally helped him. Dizzy and a little annoyed, he splashed her with his wings. Leer floated back as the water sprayed her and laughed gleefully, twirling in the air and unbothered by getting wet. As if trying to copy Ronin, Leer floated down and rested on the surface of the water with a little grin. She let out little shrieks of joy as Ronin pushed her gently, sending her floating off to the other end of the pool.

Grim arrived back at the pokepark and let out a sharp whistle to let his pokemon know he was there. For a moment nothing happened, but then he saw his pokemon rushing back to him. One, however, caught his eye more than the rest. He stared at the Leafeon as it stopped in front of him.
"...Luckett?" The leafeon gave a little smile and gently headbutted his leg in answer as if saying, Of course it's me, in response. Grim smiled and crouched down to pet Luckett affectionately, overjoyed that his eevee had somehow evolved while here. He had no idea how it had happened, but he decided not to think into it too much. Some mysteries were best left as just that.
"Alright gang, its time to go." With that Grim recalled everyone into their pokeballs and headed off in the direction of the park exit.

While the Baby bear made his way, leading the group through the park. He was confident in his path to know where he knew. He would just waddle from one thing to another as it caught his eye, either it was a flower, or a bug, or a interesting looking rock. Chansey was enjoying herself just watching her team enjoy themselves. She kept her eye on everyone, but namingly Teddy because he was the trouble maker of the group wither he meant to or not. She watched Clefairy and Dratini chit chat as Clefairy collected wild flowers as they went. While Wooper and Squirtle was just enjoying the sights. Squirtle was also enjoying the silence of the group. Namingly the quiet exploration of Teddy. All until Teddy found something else to keep his attention. A towering pile of steel. A Steelix. Teddy took off running for the towering Pokemon and it;s surrounding Pokemon. He ran up to the Steelix looking straight up to see it. His mouth fell open looking at the sheer height of the Steelix, as if it were a sky scr. Still open mouthed, he pointed straight up at the Steelix's head. "I'm gonna be that big when I grow up. I'm going to evolve into that." Teddy announced, as if it were a big decision on his part. Chansey walked over, not threatened by the size of the Pokemon, listening to the Teddy bear. "But Teddy, I thought you were going to be a water type." The egg Pokemon asked him, playing into his imagination. She liked hearing his stories, he was young so she wanted him to think and imagine all that he wanted. This caught Teddy in a dilemma. He had already proclaimed he was going to be a Gyarados... So which was it going to be now? A Gyarados or that? This made him stop and ponder, causing him to frown his brows. This was a very serious decision. He wanted to be what ever that was, but he also wanted to be like the Gyarados Finn had that saved them in Darkrai's tower. Decisions, decisions. The Squirtle and other Pokemon caught up, The pink girls, Dratini and Clefairy didn't pay any minds to the other Pokemon as they continue to collect a bouquet of wild flowers, while Squirtle had the same reaction as Teddy, looking up and open mouthed at the metal snake. His head slowly began to sink into his shell. "Whoah" He let out seeing the large Pokemon.

Church arrived at the pokepark and stopped at the gate that lead to the pokemon-only area with Klutch hot on his heels.
"I'm going to need you to whip these pokemon into shape, Klutch. If they fail at the fairy gym the blame will fall on you." His voice was soft but cold as he spoke. He wasn't looking at her but he really didn't need to, the Heliodisk shrank at his words alone and he knew it. With that he released all but Nyx and turned on his heel to wander off and kill time, leaving a stressed Klutch staring at the pokemon in front of her.

Klutch glanced between her teammates for a moment wondering just what Church expected her to do with them. Besides Rowl she felt tiny next to the others and not really fit to lead. Sure she was big for her species, but not by a whole lot compared to the other pokemon. She took a deep breath and felt her frill tremble as she took the lead and headed towards the obstacle course. How did she get stuck with this? Wouldn't Nyx have been a better choice? What if they didn't listen to her? These pokemon were new to her and she didn't like how they looked at her. The whole situation just made her skin crawl.

Klutch stopped at the entrance to the obstacle coarse and shifted her weight from side to side nervously. Looking at it now she wasn't sure the coarse was the best choice for them, of the group maybe only Rowl and herself might make it through. The others just weren't built for it. She turned and faced the others, trying not to shrink under their gaze.
"Ok! We are going to do some battle practice! Pair up!" She tried to sound confident and demanding like Church, but she could hear a slight tremble in her words that angered her. Why was she so nervous? She knew why of course, if she failed to prepare them Church might abandon her like he had his arcanine. That was a fate she didn't wish to share.
