 "Lit by the Flash of Lightning!"
In the very heart of central Unova, Nimbasa City beats with life and color all hours of the day and well into the night being known as the entertainment capitol of the region. Known as one of the most populous cities in the world, Nimbasa City is well known for it's landmarks such as the Musical Theatre, Gear Station, the world famed Battle Institute and it's enormous amusement park. There are very few in the entirety of the region who have not been to Nimbasa City for all of it's attractions, and any one of them would tell someone to make the trip if they have the time. Thousands of people make their way to and from Nimbasa City day in and day out, not to mention the thousands that live there already, making it one of the most active and lively cities in the world.
{Nimbasa City Gym (Click)}Elesa is the official Gym Leader of Nimbasa City's Gym. She specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. She gives the Bolt Badge to Trainers who defeat her. While holding down her position as a Gym Leader, Elesa has risen to stardom as a famous supermodel. For any high fashioned, and name brand, fashion show her name is the first in the mouths of the chiefs in the fashions industry. She has since created a brand for herself and many signature looks. She often seen with her good friend Skyla either within the city of live or even in the skies with Skyla. They are so close, The fellow Gym Leader is on the team she confides in before drastically changing her look. She is very smart and business minded, as she makes sure to be conscious about the reserved image she displays. Despite having a very busy life as a famous supermodel and successful gym leader, she finds time to visit Cynthia and Caitlin's Villa in Undella town along side Roxie to relax when she needs it. Despite her fame and fortune, Elesa is known to be fairly kind and considerate to those around her, and is known to love a good pun. She is never afraid to jump into action to help those in need. Elesa's gym is just as exciting as the ever living city it resides in. The gym sits within the amusement park, if they challenge Elesa trainers can enter the amusement park for free for the day. However, getting to her gym isn't always easy for challengers. The only way Elesa will accept a challenger in her gym is to board a large Roller Coaster, and ride it. Elesa encourages challengers to ride it with their Pokemon if they are able to, being high tech enough to form safely around some Pokemon's body types, realistically. The ride is high speed, has many drops and a few loops and barrel rolls. Elesa believes if the trainer can't handle the ride, they can't handle a battle with her. The exit of the ride has a side exit for those sick and just wanting to have ride the ride, but challengers can enter through a grand curtain to the battle field. The actual gym is a very grand. The entrance opens up onto the actual battle field which is a very large cat walk that fashion shows are actually held on. The wide runway is lined with spotlights of many colors. The field itself is flat and easy for all Pokemon to battle on. On the far wall is a massive screen with cameras to show the battle on a large screen, that is televised across the theme park. This often draws a large crowd to the lower area that sits around the runway, so the park goers could get a chance to watch a trainer battle the famous supermodel. Pokejob: Shipping Company | Tier 9 | 8/8 Ideal Pokemon | 1/10 PostsMoving the short distance north towards Nimbasa City, skating over the desert that spanned out across the central part of the Unova Region, Emiri recalled Nimbasa being such a colorful hub of just about anything one could imagine. From the amusement park that could be seen from the air, all of the colorful street banners for different musical performances or shows going on, to the various other large buildings or stadiums that the city had, there seemed to always be so many different things going on in the city. With her Pokemon that she had out from her Pokeballs, Emiri found the Pokemon Center and was able to gather her stamp from the Nurse Joy there before moving just a bit aways from the Pokemon Center off to the side to take a small moment of rest. Charizard, Kovu, Azuran, and Salamence all laid out to take their break, enjoying the workout in kind after having felt like they’d been sedentary for some time.
”Are those your Pokemon,” came a voice that sounded like it was approaching them, and while Emiri hadn’t paid any mind initially, occupied with the baby and Nimbus, Charizard and her other Pokemon looked up at a gentleman that was coming towards them. Emiri felt the shift in her Pokemon’s energy, and that was when she looked up to find a man standing off to the side from her and her Pokemon, with a kind, but what looked to be excited smile. Emiri glanced between her Pokemon and the man for a moment before she finally understood that she had been asked a question.
”Oh… Uhm, yes, those are my Pokemon,” she answered a bit awkwardly, helping the baby up onto Nimbus’ tail as she stood from the ground and brushed herself off. She wasn’t sure what this encounter meant, but she wanted to be ready to fly away just in case…
”Incredible, they look very strong and well trained! Are they fast? Do you have any other winged Pokemon,” he questioned then, enthused by her response despite her short answer.
”Uhm, I think they’re fast, I’ve been training them for years now on flying techniques… And I do have some other flying Pokemon,” Emiri answered again, unsure of how best to answer his questions of intrigue, but she at least wasn’t getting any foreboding or cautioning feelings from the interaction.
”Fantastic! Please, I would like to ask for your help! Flying Pokemon are the perfect way to make deliveries right now, and I would be very grateful for your assistance,” the gentleman asked then, smiling wider now that he had some confirmations to his wonderings. Emiri was a little taken aback, she hadn’t expected that this was how this conversation was going to go…
”Deliveries,” she questioned back then, really unsure of what it was he was trying to get at.
”Yes! This Pokemon Center in Nimbasa is actually the distribution center for all of the region’s Pokemon Center supplies for trainers! Pokeballs, healing implements, basic necessities, things of the like. But, with so many people traveling right now with the Global Trade Station event, supply demand is up, and our deliveries have fallen a bit behind,” he explained, and Emiri was actually interested to learn that that was why the Nimbasa City Pokemon Center was as large as it was, it was a whole distribution center for the Unova Region.
”If you’re going to be traveling through some of the cities that we’ve needed to make some deliveries to, it would be such a great help, you would be doing a great service to the Unova Region while we get back on track,” he offered with a smile.
With a bit of preparation, Emiri had agreed to help the head distributing manager of the Pokemon Center from Nimbasa, there was no reason why she couldn’t help out since she was going to be going to all of the Pokemon Centers that he had mentioned needed to receive some of their deliveries. There were nine Pokemon Centers, and nine packages that she was now in charge of, and they started all the way west in Aspertia City and went up north all the way to Opelucid. One by one Emiri’s Pokemon took a package with them into the air, leaving the distribution center behind. Charizard, Azuran, Kovu, Lynno, Salamence, Hantu, Flix, Ho-Oh, Zapdos, and Nimbus who was assisting as well all worked now in the air to keep the packages organized and ready to be dropped off as they started west to Aspertia City. She was admiring herself, clearly enjoying her new powerful build. "Hey, are you ready to go?" She asked, approaching her Pokemon who looked up in surprise. She nodded and got up from where she'd been sitting at the water's edge. "You should know that I am very proud of you. How far you've come, how strong you've gotten.. and that goes for all of you." She said, looking around at her team. "If we keep working hard and proving ourselves, we may even be champion one day." They all seemed pleased by her praise.
They were off and on their way to Nimbasa City shortly after that. When they arrived, it was to find a crowd of people gathering around the Pokemon Center. She tried to find a way through the crowd, but it was too much for her to handle. She overheard two people talking.
"How many did he say?"
"Ninety!" Said another boy, clearly excited.
"That leaves twenty-four. At this rate, he's going to be one of the first."
Kira knew immediately what that meant. Someone was nearly done collecting all their stamps, and she had only gotten about thirty by her count. Elfana Aroway Pantalaimon and the rest of her team were finally allowed out of their Pokeballs when she was standing in front of Nimbasa City's amusement park. She had decided to make their trip to Nimbasa City into an event for her team. They spent the day at the park. Pantalaimon led the younger Pokemon on the team to the different rides that they were able to go on. Elfana hung back with Kiro and Walter but kept a close eye on the rest of her team. Trying to keep up with them was out of the question. She would be too worn out to continue on after they visited the Pokemon Center later. Sure enough, by the end of the day the majority of her team was exhausted. Most of them were returned to their Pokeballs, leaving only Kiro, Walter, and Haruka out to keep her company. There was one last place she wanted to visit before heading to the Pokemon Center, though "visiting" turned into standing awkwardly in front of the house and staring at it. Was their adoptive mother's house in her name or in her brother's? She couldn't remember. The last time she had seen it had been just after the woman's funeral. She was tempted to find out if her old key work but decided against it in the end. Elfana lingered in front of the house for a while longer before heading to the Pokemon Center. The nurse was "friendly" enough. Most of them were. She gave her short, one word answers in response to her questions and handed her the booklet. The nurse eventually gave up on any attempts at conversation. When the booklet was returned to her with her new stamp, she left. There was one more place they needed to visit before they could leave Unova and she wanted to get it over with.Unova
