 The very eastern side of Poni island, past the vast canyon is known entirely as the Poni wilds as it has formed many different types of environments over the years. There is easy access to the coast here, and a grove that creates an environment for certain kinds of Pokemon, as well as plains that give way to many different kinds of grazing and herding species of Pokemon. There is a rocky expanse that extends from the canyons that gives way to different kind of rock type Pokemon, and the open sky attracts many different flying type Pokemon as well. This specific part of Poni Island has been a wonder to researchers who have been documenting the different places of the region, for in one place where there's so many different kinds of environments, all naturally there as well, there is an equal amount of different kind of Pokemon to occupy them, making for a truly unique environment. When Ridley said that they should wait for Finn to see what he wanted to do, Thomas didn't even register the name. Besides, with the confusion and chaos of that battle he hadn't even gotten a good look at Ridley's 'boyfriend'. "Right, we'll see what he wants to do." Thomas agreed quietly. 'Do you think that's something you can do, teleport all of us?' He voiced this question only inside of Lady's mind before looking over to her. The Psychic-Type had teleported the two of them easily enough, but he knew that had been her first time doing so.
'I... I think so.' Well that wasn't very confidence-inspiring.
He didn't want to try it if one of them might end up at the bottom of the Alolan Ocean. Well, maybe... no, not even him.
Thomas looked up at the stranger - who turned out not to be so much a stranger as he first thought. "Well I'll be damned, Phineas! I hoped everyone else got out of Darkrai's Tower. I'm glad you're safe." More importantly, he was glad he had people like Phineas and Ridley with him to face these monsters. They were people like him who had already been through a trial by fire at least once already. He knew they could handle themselves.
Then Finn asked if Thomas would be joining the two of them. "Joining? I have a better idea." Lady picked up on his hint and, for the first time ever, teleported three Trainers and every one of their respective Pokemon to the Poni Planes in question.

The two Pokemon watched the conversation go back and forth, between Scarux and the human, which soon turned back to the Gothitelle. "Oh, but I do, fine Salamance. We would certainly be crushed flat had it not been for you. Quite the definition of a Hero if you ask me. No need to be modest, besides Modesty is out." She told him casually with a polite smile on her face. As a Psychic type, Esme could sense how uncomfortable the dragon was, so she gave him a sly look. "However, if you'd like your favor to be for us to not mention it, so be it." She commented with a shrug. The human spoke up again, beckoning them to follow them over for their safety. This caused the Lopunny to go starry eyed again. "Oh! 'ow kind! You're such a gentleman!" She spoke in an overzealous tone, clasping her hands over her chest. Both Pokemon agreed and followed the male Pokemon and human over to the group. Thomas agreed to wait and see what Finn was planning. Their conversation seemed to come to an abrupt end about trusting the uniformed foundation workers, maybe he agreed with what she had said. It was plain to see for Ridley. She didn't have to trust them, she wanted to be rid of these Assembly beasts once and for all, even if she hadn't bothered to capture them herself, as Thomas and Finn did. Soon Finn came over, luckily unharmed. At least, he wasn't seriously injured, which after that blast was lucky. They three trainers looked a bit worse for wear, but they were still going strong it seemed. However, as he came over, he didn't address her.... But Thomas. Her expression disappeared all at once and showed confusion, which clearly had a hint of annoyance. She looked at Finn with her brows frowned. He knew Thomas? Her head snapped to Thomas as he spoke up. Calling him Phineas, but not only were they on a first name bases. Thomas spoke of Darkrai's tower. Ridley's mouth fell slightly open as she glanced back and forth from Pirate to trainer. " Woah! Plot twist!" Delphine commented with a grin on her face. Her energy coming back. "Okay, wait, what?" Ridley began shaping her head, glancing from Thomas to Finn cautiously. " You know each other? Since when? Why?" Ridley questioned trying to fathom why someone like Finn, who was a handsome Pirate, who had saved her at least once in the Ball, would know a sweet teen like Thomas. It made no sense to Ridley. " You both know about... Darkrai's realm?" The crimson Jynx questioned wearily, looking from Finn to Thomas suspiciously. They now had a lot to talk about while they waited for the next rift on Poni Island. Either way, the attention was brought back to Ridley, where she liked it. Calling her tenacious. She gave a shrug with one shoulder as she smirked. "Come on, you know it'll take more then a stack of building blocks to knock me down." She commented in a confident tone. He continued to ask if she was headed over to Poni Island. He seemed to already know her so well, this was their third meeting, and he was right. Ridley hated authority, and often did the exact opposite of what she's told just out of spite. She let a smile show on her face as he said this. "What fun is it to do what you're told? Only goodie goodies follow the rules." She spoke in a sly tone. "But, why break up the team." She commented. He then asked if Thomas was going to follow, and he remarked about doing something better. In a snap, they were suddenly on even ground. Ridley flinched at the sudden change, and began to look around herself. It was suddenly silent. No more science babble from the foundation people, no more spraying water. They were on fresh territory again. Delphine threw out her arms around her with wide eyes. " Wooooah. Dude." She commented with wide eyes looking around her. Themyscira took a few steps, and then stomped heavily as if to check the ground first. "Okay, I'll give you that. That was a smooth trip, that was great." The Sirene complimented the Gardevoir, with an expression of approval. However near by, there was one Pokemon who was not happy. " Oh no! I did not want to be in more danger! Oh dear!" She exclaimed bringing her soft fluffy paws to her mouth, looking fearfully to Esme. The Psychic glanced to her, looking surprised in the Pokemon. "Didn't you hear what I said to the Salamance? Being a Hero is IN. It can't be helped." She shrugged, having already decided that she and Marie were going to help, moving forward to the group of pokemon, leaving the fearful Marie behind, as she stared at her. Ridley had been ignoring the unfamiliar Pokemon as she began to take a few steps forward into the plans. "At least it's flat here. No where for a Beast to sneak up on us. gravity_resistant White Prince Of WonderlandOn the eastern side of Poni Island, one of the most unique environments that was known to the Alola Region could be found. The Poni Plains were unlike any other calculated and documented natural environment because of the different types of ecosystems that could be found all in one place, and that in itself was something to behold. What was really special about the entire eastern side of the island was the many different Pokemon that could be found beceause of the ecosystems that were all connected in this place. It was peaceful despite this, the Pokemon didn't have any trouble coexisting in this unique place, but as the forces driven by Professor Burnet's initial call to aid started to make their way towards the eastern side of Poni Island, it was clear to see that there was something off about the environment as a whole. Trees were knocked over and gaping holes where trees should have been riddled the ground that used to be a peaceful and quiet plain. Scorch patterns covered the ground in black grass and burnt rubble, and there was no question that something was very wrong here. There was no sign of any disturbance, it had already passed through it seemed, but that left the inhabiting Pokemon in the area all the more angry, feral, and disgruntled at what had happened to their home. They were distressed, found in every corner of the fallen trees, piles of rock and rubble and the holes in the ground, seeking refuge or vengeance, though it was impossible to know which. What was even more peculiar were the Pokemon that were typically found in the caves of the canyons that were found west of the plains were rampaging through the area too, disturbed and outraged at something, though it was difficult to tell what. There was no clear path to the destruction that had taken place, but it looked as though it moved over the landscape like a wave, sweeping in one direction perhaps towards the canyons that the island was famous for. - These Pokemon are not available for capture - These Pokemon can appear as often as every post, and do not draw from wild Pokemon encounter posts - Regular Wild Pokemon for this thread can no longer be used until the next update. The angry Pokemon rampaging have scared off the usual Pokemon that usually reside here. - You are able to choose which Pokemon you battle, no dice rolling required - These Pokemon are unlimited until the next event update - You cannot fight any more than two Pokemon per post if you are wanting to do a double battle with your Pokemon - These Pokemon can appear at any level of your choosing, no dice rolling required - Regular wild Pokemon exp is applied to these battles, and all the same rules regarding speed, HP and damages and exp earned. The more Pokemon that participate against one opponent, the more the exp rewarded gets divided - The next part of the event will be updated on Thursday November 1st

However, having been here twice already, Jasper knew that the Pokemon he could see moving about were not the usual assortment of species found in this area. The local Pokemon must have been run off by whatever had made such a mess of the place, and these Pokemon must have moved in after it or they had left. He didn't want to see the monster that could be capable of all this, and most certainly didn't want to fight it. "Boys... I suggest we get out of the open."
There was tall grass all around them so as soon as nobody was looking they made themselves scarce by hiding in it to see what was going to happen. One of the new Pokemon flew by overhead, stopped to look at them, and then attacked. Knowing the others would think two of the local wild Pokemon were battling, he let out the Sandygast who had helped him catch Turtonator. Sandygast was out of his element here - this was dirt, not sand. He couldn't manipulate this material as well.
Golbat used an Air Cutter attack, scattering the sand castle about until the sand was sparsely mixed with the dirt. However, the Pokemon quickly pulled itself back together and shot up in the form of a massive spike, hitting Golbat directly and then returned to his normal shape as the bat fell to the ground. There, that'd teach that thing better than to mess with people better than it. Jasper healed Sandygast and, rather than returning the Pokemon, decided to keep it out in case more wild Pokemon thought they'd cause trouble for them.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE "Magnus, what are we doing here?" Rex, the less intelligent of Jasper's thuggish henchmen, didn't see the point of leaving the forest. He thought they were safe there with those things no longer in the picture, so the idea of coming to a place where more of those monsters were said to be lurking made little to no sense to him.
Jasper looked 'round at Rex, shushing him before explaining. "There were a ton of people in that forest, right?" Rex nodded, keeping up with his boss thus far. "Good, now the more assholes we have running all over the place like they matter, the more chance someone's going to recognize us." This was partially true, but he left out the fact that he was the one who was wanted for Pokemon theft. As far as he was concerned, they were all in this together.
Knowing that other Pokemon could attack them at a moment's notice, he brought out the other of his newest Pokemon. It turned out to be a massive snake. Lucky's terrified expression told Jasper that he was, in fact, terrified. He assumed because of the snake, which forced him to suppress a chuckle. Between Arbok and Sandygast, he was confident that nothing would mess with them. The Arbok made it's way through the tall grass around them, sort of guarding the perimeter while Sandygast stayed between the three of them as a secondary defense.
A Dugtrio popped up out of the ground directly beneath Arbok. She was sent fumbling away until she corrected her momentum, curled up her tail, rose up to her full height, and spread her hood. With fangs bared, she waited until the Dugtrio came close enough and lunged at it, using Ice Fang. The single attack seemed to be enough. Obviously injured, the Dugtrio vanished from sight beneath the ground. It did not resurface, so Arbok returned to the Trainer who was now in command of her.

She knew in his ability and prowess it was no strain for him to bring along herself with Wattson and Nara, three other human figures, and reach out to Hau'Oli City to grab Skylar and bring him along as well. Rhienne marveled most times at the sheer awe of his power and strength, and still to this day wondered why such a formidable and strong being like him had decided to travel with her and still was after the years, but the same could be said about Nara too, or any of her Pokemon she felt for that matter. It was neither here nor there however, what was done was done, and she felt Absolem's familiar power envelope her as she disappeared from the jungle floor. In that instant, she actually drew in a great breath, one that wasn't marred by the moisture and humidity that clouded the jungle, and the dust and debris that lofted through the air as well. She coughed lightly, and almost shivered at the feeling of cool open air moving around her, now realizing just how drenched she was, though whether it be from moisture or sweat, she didn't exactly want to know.
Still standing on the ground beside Nara, Rhienne adjusted her ruined glasses as she looked around the new open landscape, and in an instant she found herself alone as the male had run off yet again. She didn't pay him much mind, she had a feeling that she wouldn't help out a third time if they needed to move again, the more time he spent around her, the more she could just feel that something was off. It was no surprise that for the sake of a joined effort Absolem and Wattson were avoiding any commentary, they could absolutely tell that something was wrong with the male, but it made no difference since that was no concern of theirs in a dire time such as this.
"I think whatever was supposed to appear here as already made its entrance," came Wattson's voice then as the Lucario had been first to take a real look around them, and Rhienne and Nara looked too in a sort of confusion, and almost terror, at what they found. The land was pretty much destroyed, and it was clear to see that whatever it was that made its way here was nothing short of relentless and destructive. Trees were completely uprooted or gone from the ground entirely, gaping holes appeared every where and piles of indistinguishable rubble littered the ground. There was no telling what they were up against now, but looking through the very open landscape, there was nothing that Rhienne could see that merited any immediate danger.
"Whatever it is, it looks like it's moving. We should probably try to find it before it might try to get off the island," Rhienne commented, looking off to the side, the eastern part of the island, and finding the ocean in the near distance.
"We're on the island's edge it seems, we'll be able to make a clear path inward," Nara commented, confirming Rhienne's thoughts on the matter, but before they moved forward, Rhienne looked around a bit more.
"Absolem, where's Skylar," Rhienne asked aloud, though before she could make any real headway in finding her friend, Wattson growled in a low tone at the feeling of something coming towards them as his fur bristled.
"It seems the Pokemon here are very aggrivated at what's happened. We might have to fight our way out of here," the steel type cautioned with raised jowls, and his sharp eyes narrowed in on a Tauros that came barreling through a pile of trees, snuffing and bucking with bared horns just as a Golbat screeched and came at them through the air. OOC:It seemed that Demeter wasn't alone in her opposition of what the Aether Foundation had made mention of, Alec was just as disinterested in remaining in the jungle to take on the role of a lab assistant as she was. It came with little surprise however, Alec didn't exactly seem like the 'science' type, though she was probably basing that more off of his looks and physique than she was anything else really. He seemed pretty confident about them moving on with the potential of taking on another Ultra Beast, noting mostly that girl that she saw earlier, the one with the Raikou. She wondered then if he actually knew the girl, or if he was really only saying that because of the plain as day fact that she had a legendary Pokemon toting around with her. That was something Demeter hadn't been expecting to see, though with the threat of inter dimensional beings rampaging through earth, she supposed anything was possible at this point. Legendary Pokemon were far and few between, and from what she knew of those indigenous to the Johto Region, they were rather fleeting and didn't take to human kind in any way. There had to be some merit though, the Raikou was letting the girl ride around on its back like a horse, and unless the electric type was really that weak and detainable, that spoke on the integrity that girl had in training and being able to tame the legendary. The girl disappeared though, taking along with her those three goons who did next to nothing in the fight against the Buzzwole, and Demeter knew that it was time for them to move on as well in order to see about this other anomaly that the Aether Foundation mentioned on Poni Island. Alec was quick to move on, but not before he glanced to Loki in Thomas' guise, bidding him to get the yacht prepared for their return when this was all over. Calcifer cackled at the notion just as the horribly strange Medicham did just for a second before they disappeared, and Loki seethed at being left alone in the jungle, his sharp eyes glaring daggers at where Alec once stood.
"If you expect me to go on any longer with Thomas' charade, you've got another thing coming," Loki snarled lightly as he looked to Demeter who did nothing in stifling a smirk that she held on her lips. She had to say, she rather enjoyed Alec's quips, he did well in getting under Loki's skin which was a rare occurance she felt like, but above actually caring for him and his feelings, Demeter was not going to let Loki compromise her at all.
"You dig your own grave every time you assume that guise. He stays, and you will not compromise us," Demeter mentioned then, though she drew a Pokeball out and held it out for the human form to take, knowing that it was starting to look presumptuous that he had not yet contributed in any way shape or form.
"At least make yourself useful though. Take Lucero, have Thomas contribute," she went on though, actually handing him the Pokeball. Lucero wasn't a Cipher sanctioned Pokemon and would therefore not defy order from anything other than his commanding officer, and Loki had actually taken quite a bit of charge over Lucero while Demeter was doing well to keep away from the poison that was dowsing the beach. While she was saving Minthos, Loki had kept Lucero in the battle and even saved him from the poison that showered over them, so it was concievable that the fire type belonged to him. He didn't exactly 'fit' with Demeter's other assumed Pokemon, a giant Nidoking and a Mega Gengar, he was small and unassuming, an easy fit for someone like Thomas' assumed persona. Loki only glanced at her though with his sharp green eyes, hardly able to fathom what it was Demeter had mentioned.
"You want me to what? The little mongrel hardly listens to you, what makes you think this will aid in your cover," Loki glowered, still not even touching the Pokeball that Demeter held in her hands, but Calcifer was quick to come at the rhetorical question that was offered up.
"Oh I got this one! You're such a horrible trainer your own Pokemon doesn't like to listen to you, and lets be honest, is Thomas really a trainer? It actually works out," Calcifer snickered, solidifying Thomas' ineptitude in training the one Pokemon he had with him, and Demeter looked down to Calcifer at his response.
"That's actually not bad. Makes perfect sense really," Demeter smiled, patting Loki on his chest as she relinquished herself to Minthos' control, knowing the psychic type was ready to transport them to the allotted location in order to proceed.
In an instant Demeter was gone from the jungle floor, and in that moment she actually couldn't have been any more glad. Despite the break in the canopy from the attacking Ultra Beasts, the moisture from the jungle was still stifling and rather difficult to deal with. She hadn't realized just how much moisture had been in the air, and how much she probably had been sweating, until she made it out into the open air of the next island they appeared on, and frankly it was a breath of fresh air as she took a moment to realize. She felt cool and the breezes that came from the open landscape were wonderful, but that did little to make her want to take down her hair or anything of the like. It would take a little bit still for her to get comfortable again, but this was definitely a good start. Even Loki was already in a better mood, Demeter could only imagine what his fur looked like after being tossed around the jungle like they had, but his shoulders dropped slightly from his tense and aggrivated mood as they appeared on the eastern side of Poni Island. Demeter took a moment and found Alec just off to the side, in a similar fashion as they had been standing with each other in the jungle, and his Pokemon stood with him too now in this new area.
"So that girl, do you know her, or were you just pointing out that it seems we have a rather rare Pokemon on our side," Demeter asked, genuine in her tone, she was curious about what he thought of the girl or if he actually did know her at all, but if he did and she could divulge any information from him, then it would certainly prove useful.
"I'm not so sure that's our best topic of interest," Loki leered, moving to stand beside Demeter now as he looked out to the surrounding area with his sharp green eyes, finding it all rather disoriented and in complete disarray. Demeter turned to glare at him for inturrupting yet again, but she caught sight of the surroundings for the first time really, focusing on the fallen trees, scorched grass, gaping holes and all around destruction that riddled the area. Almost the entire Alola region was a protected area because of the Pokemon and habitats that made up the islands, and this place was sure to be no exception. Nothing else could have made such a terrible mess of things, Team Skull wouldn't be capable of such a feat, so it must have been something that didn't belong here, and by the looks of it all, it was something big.
"Well how about that, the Aether Foundation doesn't know what they're talking about either. Whatever it is, it must already be here," Demeter spoke aloud then, glancing to Alec with a bit of a grimmace on her face at the notion that there was already an Ultra Beast among them and they had no idea what they were facing, much like the Buzzwole in the jungle.
"So, I think right now the Ultra Beast isn't what's gonna get us," Calcifer spoke up, there was a loud hiss that started towards them, and a feral growl, and it looked like there was a Pinsir and a Raticate targeting them from the side. It made sense, with their environment being disturbed, Pokemon were bound to be aggressive and aggrivated at any further disturbances, and Demeter figured it would take a bit more effort to find the Ultra Beast in question now.
"Calcifer, get the rat," Demeter mentioned, knowing the ghost would have little trouble with it, and she took a quick expectant glance to Loki beside her with her gray eyes. He held his tongue and stifled a heavy sigh as he reached too for a Pokeball, and from it the brown figure of Lucero came out into the open.
"We'll take the Pinsir then I suppose," Loki commented then, and while the Quilava hadn't paid any mind to who held his Pokeball at the moment, his fur bristled at the sound of Loki's voice and he turned to give him a sharp glare at just the mere notion that he was telling him what to do. In that moment, he caught Demeter's eye who glared at him and made very certain he knew he was being watched. He didn't know what convoluted plan they were working out, but it didn't seem like there was any getting out of it.
"This means nothing," the fire type growled in Loki's direction, clearly stating that just because he was going along with whatever they were doing didn't mean that he was submitting to the likes of his majesty, but he moved forward none the less just as the Pinsir lunged with its snapping appendages. Scarux was doing his best to inch away from the two Pokemon whom continued to rave over his actions in saving them, and Vitus did little to help stave them off. Ridley seemed to have an understanding that they did need to move on to the Poni Island the Aether Foundation had mentioned, but not before Thomas made a comment that just about made Finn's blood boil. He did not want to make any mention of that horrible place, and certainly didn't need to for anyone's sake, the memories and pain weren't worth it, but what came most to Finn's surprise even after that was Ridley's reaction. Her Pokemon made quick work of making Finn realize that he and Thomas were not the only ones who had experienced the realm of that nightmarish shadow, but before Finn could make any headway in clearing things up, he felt a tug at his physicality, and he was gone from the city at Thomas' word.
Within the forethought of his mind, he felt Bade lurch at knowing that he was no longer on Akala Island, and it was easy to understand why since he was taken without a single notice. She was livid now, but knew better than to make any kind of scene over it, but she would have a word with that Gardevoir if the psychic tried to do anything like that again.
"Be vigilant until I get to the next island, I was not prepared for you to be moved," came Bade's voice, and Finn regarded her with understanding and humored her, but he also knew that for the few minutes, maybe a bit longer, that it might take her to fly across the region, he should be alright or able to take care of himself. That left him alone with his two slightly disgruntled Pokemon, neither having expected or anticipating being teleported in that moment, and the very blatant fact that Thomas spoke out about Darkrai's realm and Ridley's reaction to it.
"Aye, I made it alright and it's good to see you did as well, but I've done well to not dwell on it or bring back the memories," Finn leered lightly, not trying to be so upset with Thomas, but how he could be so upfront and even chipper about bringing up something like that didn't exactly sit well with him.
"That said however, I was trying to save face, but Ridley, you were taken by Darkrai? I wasn't going to make any mention of it, but I'm sorry you had to go through that just the same," Finn commented, turning back to Ridley again who stood amongst them, and he truly was sorry that she had to experience something like that, and so soon after they had barely had their lives spared on that island they'd been trapped on. If he had known that she was in there too, he would have expended just as much effort to find her so they could have gotten out together. He was glad to have found others, and made allies even as he stood there with Thomas, but he would be lying if he said he didn't care for Ridley. Just then though, before much more could be said, there was an audible gasp that already sounded too familiar, and Finn looked with Vitus and Scarux to find the Lopunny with them, and she was very visibly upset by being where they were. Finn couldn't fathom why though, he knew Poni Island to be very peaceful, undisturbed in most parts too since it was more a rural location than anything, but as he looked out with his shining green eyes towards the landscape that followed, he almost wanted to gasp too.
"I don't recall it looking like this when we were last here," Vitus glowered as he stepped forward, baring his cannons then as they took in the sight of the ruined environment. Trees were uprooted in every direction, and it seemed some were missing entirely and ripped up from the ground in gaping holes that covered the ground. The smell of burnt and singed grass wafted over the salt of the ocean as giant black scorch marks could be seen over parts of what was lush greenery, and piles of rubble and rock littered the ground everywhere.
"Hey, uh, don't freak out okay? What ever is here has moved on, it's not in this area," Scarux said in some failed attempt to make the Lopunny feel better, at least for the sake of making her stop freaking out so he could stop feeling so weird about it.
"I don't believe we're alone on this island. The last rift must have already taken place," Finn commented, slowly starting to move forward over the ground, and habitually one hand rested on one of the cutlass at his side, more for security than anything. Despite whatever had caused the destruction not being among them, they were far from being alone as a rock came sailing through the air towards them, and Scarux was the first to take action with his sharp senses as he turned with his tail and knocked it back. He growled, turning with bared fangs and flared wings, finding a hulking Machoke moving towards them with another rock in tow. It was not without aid though as a Hypno appeared before them as well, and Finn knew that they were not going to sit idly by and let these humans trapse through their destroyed home, so with Vitus and Scarux at his aid, they stepped into battle to fend off the wild Pokemon. " Holy cannoli! We missed the battle already!" Harley exclaimed, running over to the nearest hole in the ground, and cautiously looked down into it. Alec continued to survey the area, Rhienne and the males had already appeared, along side a familiar blonde, and another male. It was interesting to see the Blonde, he hadn't remembered her name, but he had seen her in Darkrai's Realm. She was beautiful to say the least, and she clearly knew it. She was still surrounded by her harem of Pokemon. It was a comforting sight to see that the blonde made it out. She was definitely a pretty face, it would have been a waste if it was left rotting in that realm like the body he found in the poisonous area he ran into her on. She was with two brunette males, one young, while the other looked like some guy on halloween wearing a Pirate costume. Though it seemed that he knew what he was doing, with two fully evolved Pokemon. While the other had a Mega Gardevoir. He automatically had a disdain for the male. Alec hated most fairy types, having his child hood in Laverre City, and being around the annoying fae. But if he had a mega Gardevoir it at least proved that the male wasn't a beginner which was always a good thing. He couldn't say much for the angry males that threw a fit at the lab assistants. At least they seemed to have made it this far. There were power in numbers. Alec looked to the psychic and then around at the destroyed area. "We might have missed what ever battle they had, but there aren't any defeated Lab assistants or trainers, so we're the first to get here. What ever these things are didn't seem to be battling anything, just destroying." Alec surveyed. There wasn't any signs of a battle, if the people that lived here fought them, or even the wild Pokemon. There was onyl uprooted palm trees, holes and burns. The wild life was tropical, he didn't think any of them would dig holes, or burn the land, so he could only assume the damage was done by the beasts. "We don't know how many there are, or where they went, so Get away from that hole." The tall male clarified, his tone shifting into an order as Harley began to lean and squint looking as far as she could into the hole. She huffed and stood up coming back to the group. Alec was brought out of his surveying as Vanessa spoke up to him. She asked if he actually knew her, or if he was basing it off of her Raikou, and Lucario. Alec glanced back to Rhienne who was talking with her Lucario as the three males ran off again, leaving the group. Alec had never been here before, so he didn't have the mind to take cover. They had to fight these things one way or another, so he had no intention if hiding or leaving the safety of the group. Alec was strong, and resilient, but he did not want to be caught alone by one of these beasts. Rhienne how ever, seemed to have changed her outfit entirely from the look she had until now. Granted she was on a beach, which was smart of her, but in her long black hair there was no espeon ears, or tail which confused Alec. He looked back to Vanessa. "I've actually met her. I know her, and have battled along side her in a double battle once. She strange, but she's smart and knows what she's doing. " Alec commented. Which both were true. Granted Alec wouldn't say those to her face, but his own Machamp battled along side her Alakazam. They destroyed two rotten teenage kids who challenged them so bad they forfeited and fled the field before they could say anything. Alec glanced to the group of three, and nodded his head towards them. " I've run into the blonde before too. The fact she's here proves she's more then just pretty face despite those... Pokemon." Alec commented. It was also true, she would have had to defeat Darkrai to get out of that realm. But her Pokemon.... She was the odd one out. Jynx, Delphox, Gothitelle, Mismagius, Lopunny and what ever that thing was... Everyone else have proven to have some type of strong and aggressive Pokemon. Vanessa had a mega Gengar, and Nidoking, despite her Quilava. Rhienne had a Raikou and Lucario. One of those guys had a Granbull which were tough, the other two seemed to stay out of the battle like Thomas did. The Pirate guy had a mega salamance, and mega Blastoise, while the younger male had a mega gardevoir. He himself had a Machamp at least, while Spade and Harley didn't look impressive. While the blonde.... All her Pokemon were dainty looking and feminine. If she made it this far clearly she was tougher then she looked. But she was the least intimidating of the group here. Thomas spoke up about talking about their group wasn't the best topic. Alec glanced to him skeptically. Knowing their allies wasn't the best topic? Alec Smirked. " Oh, Hey, you joined us. But you're right. Great big holes, scorch marks, and an empty field is such a better topic. Do you think a fire type attack burned the ground, or an ice type attack?" Alec mocked, ing his head to the side, looking at Thomas with his smirk still holding strong. The Posh male rubbed Alec the wrong way, and it was clear. But it seemed both Vanessa and her Gengar never came to his aid, or defended him, which only made his commented more okay to say. Vanessa had looked over the land on her own now and commented on the Aether foundation not knowing what they're doing either, which was clear. " It looks like they get readings of 'thinks are going to happen!' as they happen. Looks like their always 10 minutes behind." Alec responded with a roll of his eyes. Scientists were always annoying to Alec, nerdy know it alls that hardly ever actually had a clue. Soon after their comment, Thomas spoke of something getting them instead of the Ultra Beasts. Alec looked to see a Pinsir and a fat black raticate squaring off with them. It would see Pokemon had begun attacking everyone in the area, as a Hypno appeared near by. Alec didn't do anything, assuming it to be Vanessa's Hypno, but it soon proved to be other wise. It sent a wave of energy immediately as it sneered at them. The blast knocked Alec, Spade, and Piotr from their feet. Only Harley remained standing as her bat appeared and she used it to divide through the wave. " Oooooh no! I'm not going to take that from another Creep!" She spat at it, but the Hypno didn't respond it just let out a drawn out growl, as an odd angry looking weasel appeared from the grass. " Are the Ultra beasts near by?" Alec questioned the ghostly legendary. " I've told you. I cannot sense their presence like other beings." Hunting replied with an angry tone, having to answer to the same question. " Are they controlling or sending these Pokemon?" Alec asked, ignoring the angry tone. They might have some psychic control. If so, they might be next on the list. There was a slight pause. " No. Not directly. They sense the disturbance like we all do. They're defending their territory." He replied. After hearing this Alec stood back up, as Harley was already swinging and defending herself. But Alec Called her back, sending out Foongus, and Cacturne. " They're angry, so they're going to fight hard. Knock them into the holes if you have to." She in turn stuck her head in the ground, much like an Ostrich, only to be sent backwards out of it but the diglet headbutting her. She cursed angrily, rolling back onto her feet and began after it, slamming her bat down over the hole, leaving a divot with each hit. The Diglet popped up randomly around her and she was quick to swing but not quick enough. Watching Harley for a second, Spade finding it amusing, Alec knew they weren't in the clear yet. " Everyone else, keep your eyes open. I don't want another attack like that Hypno." Alec commanded. He was not going to be as forgiving or ignoring if a second attack hit him, and both Spade and Piotr knew that, and stood as his guard. But two cattle appeared to be rampaging in their direction. Before either could respond, the horse and tauros rammed into the grass types. " Get up! Strike back before they turn around" Alec called out, as the mushroom rolled a bit of ways trailing dark energy as it did. Cacturn how ever was knocked backwards and latched onto the Tauros. With a mischievous look began to slam his thorned fists onto it. Once the mushroom stopped and got up, it began to pull energy out of the horse, trying to stop it. The Tauros panicked and in an effort to get the cactus of fit, it kicked and bucked around until it turned and jumped into a still standing but burnt tree. This was enough to knock him off, but only just. Cacturne got back up and tackled the Tauros, only to be knocked off as it fled. The horse soon reared back and slammed it's paws into the ground, sending the earth outwards and into both grass types. UNTIL THE DAY I DIE The Dugtrio may have vanished from sight, but it was far from finished with the Trainers and their Pokemon. All around them on the field, the sudden appearance of the Trainers dissolved into battles. It popped up beside the beaten and battered Golbat, speaking words of revenge and payback. Golbat agreed, and the pair of Pokemon decided it would be best to gang up on the enemy and attack using the element of surprise. They would hit first, hit hard, and this time they would be victorious.
They both decided to sneak away for the moment, and then strike when the snake passed them. So there they laid in wait. Then finally when the patrolling snake moved the grass close to where they were, they sprang their trap. Dugtrio Bulldoze it's way right into the Arbok. Golbat was in the process of striking as well, which would surely have been the end of Arbok, when Sandygast gathered it's individual particles together and took the bullet. Arbok had flinched, but when she opened her eyes to see why she hadn't been hit, they both locked eyes.
Alright, well now they were going to return the favor. These two idiots were going to get everything they deserved. For Arbok, revenge came naturally but for the Sandygast it seemed that the Trainer's influence was finally rubbing off on him. The Golbat was flying directly above the Dugtrio so the Ice-Type attack and Stone Edge hit them both and sent them flying, and when they finally recovered from the impact they could not run fast enough away from the dangerous Pokemon who clearly took no shit and had no mercy. TL;DR

The ground immediately exploded out from under Weezing, sending him wavering backwards, while the Pinsir snatched up Foongus and began to squeeze him in the pincers. " Weezing Fire blast on the bug, free Foongus. I want you to switch and attack the other." Alec added, not wanting Weezing to battle the Boldore, or the Foongus to battle the Pinsir. Feeling the burns the bug dropped the mushroom, which quickly hopped away and began to draw energy from the rock. The rock began scattering sharp rocks around the mushroom at an attempt to stop it. While the Pinsir rushed Weezing and punched him. It sent the floating poison type sailing, luckily this time not at Alec. " Keep up the attacks, you're doing more harm to them then they are you." he said knowing the fire and grass attacks were stronger against them. He wasn't worrying about the Foongus tapping out, but he was the Weezing, he seemed to be growing more and more skeptical of battling. They continued their battles and flurry of attacks. The wild Pokemon angrily retorted with sending the mushroom flying and then grabbing weezing by it's larger head and began to squeeze it with it's powerful arms. " Weezing, quick, ignite your gas" Alec called out quickly, knowing it was going to hurt him real quick. He had to act quick and start to rebuild the poison type's trust, other wise he knew it would stop listening. The Weezing soon erupted with flames, as Foongus continued to draw energy. Wattson squared off with the snuffing bull and Nara was able to fend off the Golbat, really in no effort to harm them or cause pain, but only wanting to keep themselves and Rhienne safe. For Pokemon like Tauros, they didn't seem to calm down until they had expended a great amount of energy, and it seemed that it could be said for quite a few of these Pokemon now as more aggrivated species began to move for the trainers that had shown up in the area.
"We'll have to tread lightly it seems, but quickly if we want to find the cause of this," Wattson suggested, having since turned the bull away and Nara was able to take care of the Golbat, but it was not hard for Rhienne to feel the hostile energy in the area, there would be more coming. He looked to Rhienne though, just as Nara did as the tiger had stepped away from her where she had been leaning on her and using her for support with her leg in the shape that it was.
"I'll be fine. We can't risk having too many of us out and about here, that could only draw more attention and we don't want anyone getting seriously hurt. If Absolem can just get the splinters out of my leg, I can deal with the rest," Rhienne commented, and at that she felt a bit of pressure relieved from her leg as the splinters that littered her skin were removed carefully with his psychic prowess, and that was at least better than having them brush up against anything that she might come into contact with.
"Alright, we'll keep moving then," Nara suggested, though before they could move much further, Rhienne felt Wattson shift beside her as he looked off to the side of where they had appeared. From behind a set of fallen trees, Rhienne found Skylar and his Bayleef moving towards them, having been brought by Absolem's power as well when he was ready. She looked him over as he walked towards them, it seemed that he was entirely and completely unharmed from anything that had happened in Hau'Oli City, and it must have been that since the Nihilego had dispersed, things were pretty quiet afterwards otherwise he would have gone through something. She didn't know what had happened to him or where he had gone when those hooligans attacked, and she'd worried for him, but knowing now that he was just fine, she was just a little bitter. Mika was always right there with her, at the forefront of every battle and every fight, risking his life with her, which was how he ended up in that coma... She was scratched, scd, bleeding, muddy, dirty, limping, coughing, and looking on through broken, scuffed, and scratched glasses, and Skylar walked over offering a smile that she couldn't bring herself to share.
"It looks like you stayed safe in Hau'Oli City...," Rhienne returned, her purple eyes looking on from behind her scratched glasses, and she turned with Nara and Wattson to keep moving through the plains, limping on her leg, and gesturing for Skylar to follow.
"The short version is, an unprecidented inter dimensional phenomina is causing inter dimensional beings called Ultra Beasts to end up here on earth. They're dangerous, violent, and powerful, and are causing massive destruction where these wormholes are putting them," Rhienne started, breathing a bit through her teeth as she moved on her leg. It seemed that Skylar hadn't even been around for Professor Burnet's explanation of what it was they had encountered in Hau'Oli City since he was new to all of the information she was divulging.
"It's been determined there's another Ultra Beast on this island, and clearly its already here since these fields have been completely destroyed, so we're trying to find it before it gets off the island," Rhienne explained then, but Wattson stopped her in her walking as his fur raised on end, and there was a snarl off to the side and searing red eyes as a flash of claws and teeth lunged towards them. Nara moved first, with a growl and struck, but not before Wattson narrowly missed an onslaught of rocks that came showering towards them.
"Watch out," the Lucario growled at Rhienne as he rushed to knock the rocks away, and she rushed the best that she could with Skylar, taking his arm to avoid any contact with the oposing Pokemon.
"The Pokemon here are distressed and enraged at what happened here, no where is safe, we're trying to move through here as quickly as we can," she coughed, though struggled a bit as she winced at her leg, looking back to Nara and Wattson who were fending off the two feral Pokemon. Skylar stopped running, standing only a few feet away from Rhienne. " Oh my god... Rhienne what happened to you!" He exclaimed with much worry seeing how she was so beaten and cut up. Every thing about her was to perfection, she could not mess up her fur in a battle. That would be so barbaric. Soon the male that was so kind to her spoke about not being alone, as he went to investigate. A rock came soaring through the air, causing Marie to shriek and duck. Salamance knocked it back, as a Hypno and Machoke came in to view and they looked angry. She gasped as she jumped back, giving the dragon space as she began to trot gracefully away to seek refuge with the three humans. Ridley watched as Finn was attacked. Ridley kept back and away from where the wild Pokemon attacked from, as Delphine, Jessica, and Themyscira moved in close with her, with Amma and the strange Gothitelle in front of her. If she was ready to defend her Ridley wasn't going to argue. Suddenly around her battles erupted. The female that had been thrown back at the festival, the three guys all started to get attacked, same for the very familiar male. Seeing him battle she craned her neck around and stared at him. Both him and the female next to him. Both of which she had seen in the tower. What was going on, it was so strange. But she didn't have time to dwell. A Dugtrio emerged from the ground, and send another rock flying at them like the Machoke that attacked. Ridley, Delphine and Jessica hit the deck almost immediately, while Marie, and Themyscira whirled way in opposite directions. How ever both Esme and Amma put up a barrier that deflected it. A raticate ran in snapping its jaws. Ridley tossed a random Pokeball, seeing that her Pokemon were already on the floor or protecting them. She had let out Morticia. " Get in there!" Ridley called out, as Morticia slid forward as Marilyn raced into view. Delphine let out a confused sound, but Ridley knew it was her Sirene. The Raticate lunged at Morticia but she swiftly slithered sideways. " Oh no, Much to early for that." She calmly spoke turning back to the wild Pokemon. But the angry Dugtrio began to vibrate and began to shift the earth around it, sending a shock wave around itself. The ground rippled around them, and sent both Morticia and Themyscira off of their feet, and backwards. It shattered the illusion that surrounded the Sirene, as they both began to get to their feet. Morticia held out her arms and blasted the Raticate away from her, as Themyscira used the muddy water from the near by pond to douse the ground type. The Dugtrio quickly began to rage and began to rocked forward, slamming into the rat, and both of Ridley's Pokemon. It knocked them away once again. The Florges blasted the rat again, sending it backwards. While Themyscira doused the Dugtrio again. gravity_resistant White Prince Of Wonderland Skylar SorenThe destruction and disarray continued through the entire landscape, it seemed as though almost the entire eastern side of Poni Island had fallen in ruin to whatever it was that had made its way through. Trees and rubble littered most of the once lush and green grasses, and the Pokemon proved to be just as disheveled as the land they called home while they continued to move through with rage and disgruntled behaviors. They had gone years, maybe decades even, without being disturbed in any way save for the occasional trainer that might have managed to make it through the treacherous canyon, it was clear this was a huge upset in their natural environment. There was no telling what might have caused any of what had occurred, but the path of destruction moved forward still as the great canyons could be seen in the distance that Poni Island was famous for. However, just at the edge of the plains, where the lush grasses and old trees started to give way to the rocky scape and dust that covered the center of Poni Island, sounds of distress and anguish were clear as they carried over the salty air. To any trainer that moved forward to investigate, hoards and swarms of Pokemon could be found circling, growling, and snarling at something they were very focused on, and there were more cries, human cries that carried over the disgruntled noises.
”Please! Help us,” a voice called out, and there were a number of Aether Foundation agents that were cornered, surrounded, and otherwise trapped by dozens of the angry Pokemon in the area. Whether they saw them as the threat that fell over their land, or were too angered and enraged to stand down, it was clear that the Pokemon had their targets in sight and were bent on taking care of them.
”There’s too many! We couldn’t take them all,” another one cried, a woman that was holding a Manectric in her arms that was in terrible condition. At any sound or motion that the trainers made following, the groups and hordes of Pokemon were quick to react as they all turned with desperation and anger clear in their demeanors, and it now seemed that they had a new set of targets as they rushed for the trainers, bent on taking out any threat that dared to enter their home.The trainers have been challenged! These are special hoard battles just for this event, a 2 vs 6 battle. There are six Pokemon, all the same level and all the same species that are in each hoard, and each trainer can have a maximum of two Pokemon out at a time. Speed does apply, you can only attack one target per turn unless you use a multi target attack, these Pokemon are not available for capture, and all other wild Pokemon encounter rules apply.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE Obviously trying to hide out was a waste of time. Jasper and the others were still being attacked, no matter what they did to try and prevent this. Fortunately between Arbok, Sandygast, Tauros, and Girafarig, the trio were able to overpower the horde of Pokemon. They all fell one by one, and Jasper looked around to realize that everyone else had already beaten their hordes of wild Pokemon and were now vanishing or taking off into the skies. "Well that happened fast. Either something bad's about to happen here or they're all after something." Jasper was really just thinking aloud at this point. "Maybe rare Pokemon, or treasure..." That settled it, he wasn't sitting here any longer. He took off, and loyal as ever Lucky and Rex quickly followed suit. They raced in the direction that dragon had gone carrying a Trainer, knowing they were going right into Vast Poni Canyon. TL;DR

OOC: As Demeter stood there at the beginning of a long trek through the destroyed plains of eastern Poni Island, she was rather surprised that he knew as much as he did about their current allies and whom they had in their company. She had only assumed that he was staking out their comrades by the Pokemon that they had, and she had to admit that knowing they had a Pokemon such as Raikou fighting with them, it did speak volumes about who they were in company with. As it would turn out though, he actually did know her, a girl named Rhienne that he was familiar with. It didn’t sound like he knew her too too well, though it was enough to be on a first name basis, and Demeter actually trusted what he had to say. He wouldn’t have made it a point to bring her to attention if he had planned on lying about who she was. Of course, only knowing that her name was Rhienne and that they fought together at some point didn’t give her near enough information in the respect of being able to take that tiger off of her hands, but Demeter never did forget a face, she’d be able to find her again one day when they weren’t trying to work together.
Another face that Alec seemed to know, and one she was rather taken aback to see for herself, was the blonde Ridley whom she had fought with within the realm that Darkrai had drawn them into to do them all in. Not that she didn’t think she would ever see Ridley again, the world was much smaller than it was made out to be sometimes, and if she was traveling same as her, it was a fair possibility that they would cross paths at one point or another, but it was fairly soon after the fact which was what made Demeter take a double take. She didn’t recall seeing her around the jungle that they were in on Akala Island, she had surveyed the area enough with Loki to know their playing field, so she must have gone off to Malie City where the other set of trainers went at Professor Burnet’s word. She looked just as disheveled and bedraggled as she did herself after trudging through the jungle, her dress was torn and her hair was tousled, it was almost curious to know what might have happened with the other battalion they had among them. Alec didn’t seem to have much experience with her either however, but whatever must have happened for them to cross paths, he already had a rather strong opinion about her. Demeter knew for a fact now that Ridley was more than just a pretty face, and her Pokemon actually proved to be a bit formidable. They worked together when they crossed each other within Darkrai’s realm, and while it would have been all the more of a struggle and it could have ended with her life on the line, Demeter thought that them working together actually did help them both escape with their lives. Ridley was a pretty face, yes, but there was no taking back the credit was due for both of them getting out alive. However, as Demeter might have taken the opportunity to catch up with an ally, it seemed she was occupied with two other males around her, one a bit younger, and the other… Just stepping out of a costume party? She wasn’t sure to say the least, maybe he was an actor of some kind as part of the festival, pirates and islands went together, he might have been on one of the boats. He seemed to have a formidable force of Pokemon with him however, as both a Mega Blastoise and Mega Salamence stood by him, so that at least came with promise.
”Thomas was wrong about you, seems you are some kind of socialite,” Demeter joked, he knew one more person than she did, and she wasn’t going to divulge how she knew the one person they had in common, but that must mean he got around and traveled a bit more than just the Sinnoh Region. Loki was quick though to take away from the conversation again, and honestly she was getting tired of being interrupted, and it seemed Alec was too as he dug into the Zoroark all the more, talking down his intelligence on his deductive reasoning skills. The dark type only glared at him through Thomas’ guise where instead the human’s green eyes only rolled at Alec’s commentary, and Loki couldn’t wait for the moment that they no longer had to travel around with this grungy human.
Things moved forward afterward, all of the trainers that had managed to make it to the Poni Island were moving as well as they could over the beaten landscape, and trying to combat the fierce wild Pokemon that raged through the area. Demeter had Calcifer at the head, and Lucero kept up his pace as his red flames burned hot over his body, and they were doing alright trying to force their way through to the north west where the canyons were. Alec was moving ahead, and Demeter looked over every now and again to find his battles going rather well for the kind of Pokemon that he had.
”So, what are you going to do when this is all over? I think this has officially earned ‘ruined vacation’ status, Alola won’t be a nice vacation spot for a while,” Demeter asked then in light conversation as Lucero and Calcifer kept at the head of the group, and she really was quite upset that even after they might have saved the world from interdimensional warfare, she couldn’t very well go back to Hau’Oli city and lounge around on her yacht since the city was in ruin. Every island was affected in some way so far, she wondered if maybe she should consider a room at the Hano Grand Resort, just as a perk me up after such a segway took place in her vacation.
”Maybe if we go play the hero card at the Hano Grand Resort we could get a nice stay there? I think they owe us at least that for going out of our way to save the region,” she mused. It wasn’t a bad idea, the Hano Grand Resort was the nicest place in the region, she only swung a trip there when she felt like she really deserved it since it was such a famed location, but through her musings it wasn’t long that their forces came up on a scene that was both unexpected and rather sad in a pitiful sort of way. Sprawled over the field were fallen Aether Foundation agents, crying out for help and cornered by a series of Pokemon that must have really taken out their anger on those less fortunate with competency. They were beaten and battered and not a single one of them had a leg to stand on as they shouted and cried for anyone to save them.
”I’m really beginning to question their involvement in this situation,” Demeter scowled with a glance to Alec, scientists really had no place in field work like this, it would be like throwing Minthos out there and expecting him to put up a fight. These tree huggers were useless, but it seemed fortune favored them as the myriad of Pokemon began to turn at other foreign noises, finding the group of trainers coming up on the scene.
”And bringing the fight upon ourselves if the much better option,” Loki leered at Demeter as a series of growls, snarls and grunts carried over the wind towards them.
”Yes because you have so much to worry about when we’re doing all the work,” Calcifer shot back, in both the defense of himself and Lucero, but both Loki and Demeter gave him a very pointed glare in return at his comment, a warning to shut his mouth before either of them did it for him. Calcifer and Loki had known each other for as long as either of them could remember, they would even consider each other friends, but that was one thing Calcifer always did resent about Loki. His lack of any involvement because he was always too busy pretending to be something else was daunting to the ghost, but at Demeter’s stare he kept his mouth shut from any more commentary.
”You whine enough, you might as well not be doing anything either,” Lucero growled, though he stopped as the ground beneath his paws began to rumble and shake as grunts and heavy snuffs caught his attention. He looked up to find a small herd of Tauros charging for them now, just as other swarms of Pokemon were coming down on the trainers around them.

Skylar would be stopped to see the hoard of 6 Pinsir that were trying to intimidate him by clashing their spiked horns together. He didn't consider her a socialite either, but if he thought about it, she always had friends everywhere. All but maybe Lucian, but he didn't really know anyone that liked being around him. Alec wouldn't have put himself in the same box, but now he's thinking about it, he supposed he was. It wasn't really a title he craved but he wasn't going to fight it either. "Though, since I've started going around as a trainer, it would seem the pool of 'decent' trainers makes the world a much smaller place." Alec comment, which so far it was fairly true. He had met back up with quite a few of the trainers he had met already, like Rhienne and the blonde. Maybe he should start looking out for that angry red head he once met. The topic changed to what they were planning to do after this. The idea of actually losing against what ever this thing was wasn't even in the realm of possibilities for Alec. Alec hadn't thought that far ahead. She was right, this had ruined their vacation he planned on. "The original plan was to relax here and give them a break, before going to get Fantina's badge back in Sinnoh." Alec began. That plan of course was obsolete, no one had gotten to relax really. His Pokemon wouldn't last long if he always ran them ragged. He needed to give them something. Something to bring up the spirits, so they would continue to listen and something he would enjoy doing as well. Vanessa seemed to have a good idea of what they could have done. Playing the hero card at a grande hotel. He had never really been to the Alola region, granted he had been to all the others, so he wasn't exactly familiar with what the region had to offer. " I think that is a great idea. After doing the work for them, I think they could spare us a room at a nice resort." Alec commented thinking about it. The idea was a good one, and Alec would enjoy all of the amenities he could, as would Spade. But before much more planning could be made, a very roughed up group of foundation employees scrambled into view. They were beaten, bruised and defeated. Alec hadn't gone to investigate the screams or pleas for help, but the now less then stark white uniformed employees scrambled past them. Vanessa commented on questioning their involvement. "What involvement?" He asked her clearly sounding annoyed at what ever the foundation was. They, and the Professor hadn't really done anything of use thus far. They might have explained what the Ultra beasts were after they were attacked. But that's it. Maybe Alola wasn't ready to open it's gates after all, their professors and foundations are a joke. Lucky they did or they would have been shit out of luck. The sounds of angry Pokemon began to ring out as he and his pokemon backed up to be level with Vanessa, to maybe make a nice defensive wall with her. He over heard Thomas's frustration with the employees which he agreed with, but he wouldn't out right comment. Soon after her Gengar commented on Thomas's lack of help. Which what Alec and his Pokemon knew, Thomas was a human. So Alec could only really know that Calcifer was making a comment for Vanessa and her Pokemon doing all the work. "You know, not gonna lie. Your ghost has a point. You are pulling all the weight for Thomas." Alec shrugged. " Even just a starter, or a jigglypuff could help if he could manage." Alec teased. But his jokes quickly came to an end as the enraged Pokemon began to flood the scene. A group of six Pokemon appeared before him. Spade, Cacturne, and Piotr pulled in close to Alec. The group was a group of Hypnos forming around them, and they looked pissed. Alec went to call for an attack, telling his Pokemon to pick one and attack, but the Hypnos were there to wait for a reaction. They began to move, and suddenly Alec's Body went ridged. As did Piotr's, and Spade. They had used Psychic to ensnare them in place. He grit his teeth as he tried to fight against it, but nothing would do. Cacturne however, let out thorned vine whips and was ready to attack, but the moment he moved forward and the group saw he wasn't effected they pounded him with hypnosis as he fell back unconscious. The hypnos turned their attention back to Alec and his two Pokemon, and began to form a barrier to attack him with. But behind him he heard screams, not of fear, but almost a battle cry. She flipped into the air with her bat that radiated energy, using Alec's shoulder, sprung herself higher. On her way down, she used her bat to shatter the barrier that had formed and begun sweeping towards them. As she landed she stood back up. "Ha! Take that you freaks!" She shouted proudly pointing her bat at them. She slowly realized that her actions left her in a 1v6... She lowered her bat for a moment, and let out another awkward laugh. "You know, I think we can be friends. While I have you here. I have a question-" She began, seemingly ready to launch into the same flurry of questions she had for Vanessa's Hypno. But they weren't going to be patient. Harley was interrupted and was launched into the air. She shrieked as she spiraled and flipped through the air, but Piotr was quick to leap in the air and catch her. While her contribution was annoying, it was very helpful. She not only kept them all from being attacked, and freed them. She spun back, but miscalculated and spun back to Morticia. The black flower saw it coming and braced herself, as she wasn't blasted but she was slammed into and knocked a little ways back. Themyscira stopped spinning, she wasn't dizzy by any means, but the force of her dress like skirt continuing to spin around her forced her to take another step or two. She moved for Morticia with a hand over her mouth. " I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hit you too." Themyscira apologized reaching for the flower. "It's okay, dear." Morticia spoke very calmly, reaching up and putting her flowers back in sorts. "I can take a good platonic beating every now and again." She added sounding pleased. There was no need to bring up such an unwelcome memory, it was entirely uncalled for really, and yet here he was now stuck on some of those memories, the tombstones that he dared not look at or the way Bade writhed and cursed at what Darkrai had done with his power were all coming back to him. And what was worse now was he was stuck with Ridley’s response, she and her Pokemon had been swept away and trapped in that realm as well, but now as he had made no motion to say anything about how he knew Thomas, she appeared to not appreciate the fact that he hadn’t said anything to begin with. She was standoffish now, and made short work of elaborating on her experience there within the realm, she was almost spiteful now and Finn had all the more reason to curse Thomas for his commentary. He liked Ridley, he fancied her really, and the last thing he wanted was a ruined shot because some daft bloke couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
Standing off to the side, Vitus and Scarux watched on, almost with piqued interest at the sudden shift in the conversation. They’d known Finn for quite some time now, Vitus especially since he was with Finn as a boy, and watching him grow as a human, and develop as he had was always intriguing to say the least, especially when it came to his favoritism for the female human gender. It was rare that he fumbled or misspoke, but in the chance that it happened, it was always a good chuckle to see their illustrious captain fall short. However, despite Finn’s current situation, Scarux was still left with his own as the Lopunny still remained, having been teleported with them, and frankly the dragon didn’t know how to handle it. She wasn’t leaving him alone for one, and there was the matter of him not knowing how to comfort others very well. Everyone that he was familiar with was a strong crew mate worth their salt, except maybe Verasi, so he wasn’t quite sure how to deal with someone so… Soft. He couldn’t very well growl at her and tell her to suck it up like he would Vitus or Archimedes, that would only make things worse for her, and in turn him since she seemed to still be following him around.
”You don’t have to worry about being a hero here, just stay back and we’ll take care of things,” Scarux tried to reason, hoping that he at least wouldn't have to baby sit the whole time that they were on this island, but then again, he wasn't banking on the Lopunny or the Gothitelle being brought with them, it just sort of happened with that Gardevoir that teleported them all there.
Things picked up quickly though as wild Pokemon from every corner started to attack and rage at intruders upon their land and territory after it had been destroyed so much, and Scarux and Vitus took the head of the battle, both with their size and power proving to be formidable in the attempt to move forward through the plains. The landscape was flat for the most part, it would be easy to discern if another one of those beasts was among them since they were either as big as a city building, or so out of place that its impossible to miss them. That had to mean that the anomalies moved towards the inner parts of the island, they would have already attacked if they were around. That didn't take away from the wild Pokemon though as they moved through the plains, and Finn kept pace with Ridley and Thomas to make sure that there was going to be strength in numbers when it mattered.
"Now Ridley, you have to understand why I didn't bring up that terrible place, if you hadn't been taken there it's not something you needed to concern yourself with," Finn tried to reason after a bit of trudging through the fields and going through the wild Pokemon that were attacking. He was trying to make an honest effort in sifting through what Thomas had brought about, and it wasn't difficult to tell that there was something wrong about the fact that he hadn't told her right off the bat. Finn wasn't going to open a conversation either with the fact that he had been abducted by the spirit of darkness himself and thrust into a world to fight for his life or succumb to the powers that were there to end his very existence.
"You should know just as well as I do that there are things people don't talk about. There's no need to trudge up the pain when you're trying to push past it," he said then, and he was speaking from far more experience than just the terror they shared on that island. There were a lot of painful things that he didn't talk about, like the fractal scar that ran over his chest and the left side of his back and arm, there were just certain things that people just didn't need to talk about. Before the pirate could really say much more on the matter however, as they continued to move over the plains and singed grass, Scarux and Vitus both stopped at an interesting scene that began to unfold in front of them, first a series of screams and cries for help that caught their attention. It would seem that a series of agents from the Aether Foundation were in rather poor shape and cornered by a whole slew of wild Pokemon, unable to fight their way out, or even defend themselves it seemed.
"If we move quick enough, we might be able to evade them entirely," Scarux leered quietly, banking on being able to get away from the entire fleet of wild Pokemon entirely before they became noticed, but Finn stopped the dragon at his notion. He had enough morals to know that leaving the helpless and defenseless to fend for themselves was wrong, and beyond that, they might actually be of some help.
"They'd arrived here before we have, they might have seen what beast is among us. They could have valuable information that we need to stop this, we should do something," Finn argued, looking to Ridley and Thomas for any kind of backing on his stand point, but there was not much more that could be said as he listened to the growls and snarls that carried over the air, and it sounded like they were now all directed at the group of trainers that had approached.
"It's too late for that. The decision has been made for us," Vitus glowered as he bared his cannons, a series of snarling and hissing Gumshoos starting to lunge for them. Vitus and Scarux took the fore front of the battle without hesitation, betting they could easily take on the small armada of waist tall rodents without much trouble, though the sheer number of them might prove a challenge if they weren't able to keep up with how fast the rodents were moving. {Battle Info (Click)}Vitus | Lv. 68 | HP 560 | Ability: Mega Launcher | Holding: Blastoisinite
