Off the coast of Poni Island is a preserve for one of Alola's most special species of Pokemon, the Alolan Exeggutor. This island has been protected by the region for years now as a way to maintain their very specific species. The only Pokemon that can really be found on this island are Exeggcute and the Alolan Exeggutor that they will evolve into. The island is open to trainers who wish to make the journey here, as the region isn't too concerned that the powerful dragon types who live here would not be able to defend their home.
