 Off the beaten path, so to speak, it can be very difficult to get to Kala'e Bay if one does not already know how to get there. The bay is not necessarily hidden, and is not protected by any force, but it has remained secluded all this time, and so is one of the most beautiful spots in the region. The bay itself is surrounded by a series of rocks and dense coral patches that make it near to impossible to swim to the bay or take a boat. It is found at the base of the eastern cliffs of Melemele, so there is no path to walk down to the bay either. One of the only real ways to get to Kala'e Bay is through a small cavernous opening that can be found deep within the Melemele Meadow that leads into the mountainous walls that contain the meadow where you travel through the Seaward Cave. It is only then that traveling through the depths of this cavern and following the rocky and slippery paths can you get down to Kala'e Bay, truly one of Alola's most well kept environments. There was one problem, however. Two Pokemon were fighting on the beach near the pulsing tide. Two birds were battling for control of the beach, though they couldn't have been more different from one another. While one flew around, screeching and trying to peck it's enemy, the other seemed bound to the ground and fended it off with sword and shield. "Whoa. Is that a knight bird?" Thomas grinned, intending to catch it. "Butterfree, let's interfere." He ordered.
The butterfly flew forward and entered the fray. Using it's Psychic attack, both flying enemies were pinned tin place and unable to move. "That one looks tired. I think it wants a nap." He pointed at Wingull. Butterfree found the sleep center of the brain and shut it down. Then it floated the unconscious bird to a secluded space on the cliffs and Thomas took advantage of the motionless Sirfetch'd to toss a Pokeball at it. With the capture of his newest Pokemon, Thomas and his crew had the beach all to themselves. TL;DR

The Pokemon were worn out after a long day of giving chase, playing, and training. He got up and brushed sand off of himself, then shook his towel of the creeping particulates. "ALright, everyone ready to move on? We have somewhere to be tonight." He thought about the rotund guy and tried to imagine exactly what lay in store for him. He started returning all of his Pokemon to their Pokeballs. At last just as he was about to return the final Pokemon - Sirfetch'd - something caught his attention. The moment the sun was completely gone, the glow of ... something in the water got bright enough for him to see.
"What's that?" Thomas mused, eyeing the spectral glow from the beach. "I should check it out. You stay here in case I need your help." The Pokemon nodded and took a serious stance. Thomas chuckled at that. Then, deciding that he shouldn't wait, he swam out into the water. Getting to the exact center of the cove, he took a deep breath and dropped beneath the surface. It was hard to see anything except straight down, where the glow was emanating. I there was a giant man-eating Pokemon just outside his field of vision, he'd never know until it was too late. Silently praying for that to not be the case, he swam down, down, down.
As he got closer, he realized that it wasn't a single source after all. it was a series of stones and a gem that each added to the strength of the light. 'Weird..' He thought, hesitantly reaching out. He had to make a decision. Grab the stones and risk them being harmful in some way or run out of oxygen. He scooped them up along with some sedimentary sand and started speeding towards the surface. The moment his head broke water, he inhaled great lungfulls of air. As he did, he swam towards the beach where his Pokemon still stood at attention.
He climbed out of the water and rummaged through his bag before finding Lady's Pokeball. When she appeared, he held the stones out for her. "Do you know these? Have you ever seen anything like them before?" She examined them curiously. The truth was, she had no idea. She knew at once that this was the source of unusual pull she felt drawing her to this beach, but the stones themselves were completely alien to her. At last she shook her head in answer.
She decided to use her Psychic powers to figure out what she could about them. At once she figured out that the surrounding stones were harmless, but she narrowed in on that unusual gem. That was when she felt something latch onto her power and focus it in on itself. Something inside the gem woke and it began to change shape. Something -a body- erupted, growing, from the stone itself so that a Pokemon stood where Thomas had backed away from a split second before.
"What on Earth are you?!" He exclaimed, and the Pokemon turned it's head to stare at him. An idea struck him. this really wasn't anything from Earth at all. That stone hadn't only been at the center of the cove, it had created the cove. It must have fallen from the sky perhaps millions of years ago and it's impact had created the very bay ht e'd spent the day relaxing at. Lady's eyes went wide, having kept contact with Thomas' mind, at the realization. She suspected he was right. If that was true, this creature was undoubtedly beyond rare. It might even be one-of-a-kind.
She couldn't bring herself to attac it. If she hurt it, she might well be destroying the last of an entire species. The fact was, she just didn't know. None of them could. The Pokemon moved with surprising speed and launched itself at Thomas. Before Lady could react, the new bird Pokemon shot at it like a spring and intercepted the attack. It slashed with it's sword, but Deoxys wrapped it up and kept the enemy from swinging it again.
Those creepy tendrils spread, wrapping up Sirfetch'd's arms and over it's body. Though he struggled, it seemed no good. "Lady, use-" He began, but Sirfetch'd shot him a look that silenced him mid-sentence. The bird slammed it's shield right into Deoxys' face and those coils loosened. Twisting his arm free, Sirfetch'd jabbed it's sword right into Deoxys' central gem. It made an unholy screeching sound. Tomas took advantage of the distraction to throw a Pokeball that drew Deoxys right inside. It trembled and twitched a few times, but finally fell still and silent.
Thomas picked up the Pokeball, pocketed it along with the stones, and looked around at Lady and Sirfetch'd. "Thank you both." He said, offering them a smile in turn. "Let's get out of here." Noting Lady's telepathic offer, he nodded. "Yeah, let's teleport. The sooner we get out of here, the better." She did just that, and they all vanished from the spot leaving behind disturbed sand as the only sign they had been there. Well, that and the place had a less eerie feel to it now that the presence was gone.
