 A city characterized by and known for being one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world, LaRousse City is a crown jewel in North Eastern Hoenn. One of the most advanced systems in technology runs the city and keeps it up and running with conveyor belt sidewalks, automated vending machines, a fully operational security system, all powered by the wind turbines at the eastern end of the city. The city is located at the confluence of two rivers in northern Hoenn. The city mainly lies on an island, including the huge park, the Battle Tower, and most of the business districts. On the shores of the river, presumably mainland Hoenn, lies more areas of the city, though not much. Access to the island is via monorail, which wraps around the island, and a bridge over the northern part of the island.
 {Floren Koresh || Clever Contest Leader (Click)} Floren had been making artwork on city walls for as long as he can remember. His drawings and scribbles turned from crude chalk drawings, to his discovered joy for spray paint. His hobby got him in plenty of trouble as a kid, and so his parents tried to get him into Pokemon as a diversion. This didn't interest him as much as they would have hoped, but Floren discovered that contests were less dangerous than battles, and he'd have time before and after his performances to do his doodles. And so, all that was left was to build a team. Floren took up the challenge of raising a team of all the same Pokemon, wanting to prove that even three of the same Pokemon could have very different approaches to contests. With that challenge in mind, what better Pokemon to choose than Smeargle? Its artistic abilities rival his own, and he had the freedom of choosing literally any move for his contest arsenal. The only problem? He had to travel around the world to find and teach each Smeargle every move. So Floren vanished from home for many years, setting out without even so much as a starter Pokemon to give him some help. Frantic, his parents had just about given up on Floren's return when he showed up back in town, three Smeargle following along behind him. He never did tell anyone how exactly he obtained the moves known by his Smeargle. There was still plenty of time left in the day to get all three remaining stamps of the Hoenn Region and she didn't want to waste any time. She had an idea where she was going to go next, and the Alola Region was just calling her name. The tropical islands would be a blessing for sure, but she was also starting to get home sick. Despite this growing feeling, she also wanted to save Kanto for last. While it wasn't home for her, really, it was where her parents lived. Elfana Aroway "How did I not know this place existed before now?" Elfana looked every bit like a kid that had just received their starter Pokemon. LaRousse City was a paradise for someone who wanted nothing more than to take things apart to figure out how they worked. If it wouldn't have gotten her in trouble, she would have tried to pick apart one of the walkways. Alas, she needed to complete the event within a certain amount of days. She didn't have time to waste sitting in jail for trying to learn about the different mechanisms that ran the walkway. That wasn't to say she was on her best behavior the entire time. She simply didn't take anything that would be noticed immediately. The doctor let the walkways take her towards the Pokemon Center. On her way there she had taken an interest in the different robots that were active around the city. Several, she noticed, were small enough to hide in her bag. She made a brief stop just before the Pokemon Center. By the time she was talking to the nurse, she had a new robot with recently disarmed GPS and security systems hidden away in her bag. She could fix her new friend up on the boat ride to Mossdeep City. The doctor collected her next stamp from the nurse before offering her a pleasant wave and a thank you and going on her way. Hoenn

She remembered visiting LaRousse City the first time through the race, the only time since then that she had had to visit the city at all, and she was thankful that she didn’t ever have to go there very often… LaRousse City was completely technological, everything in the city was run on technology and electricity, all down to the sidewalks that would move in certain directions for the people traversing through the city. There were floating robots everywhere, and other strange pieces of technology that Emiri could never even begin to fathom what their function was in her lifetime, all in all it just made for a very intimidating and off putting visit to LaRousse City as a whole.
Nevertheless, she needed the stamp from the Pokemon Center there, so it was begrudgingly that Emiri bid most of her Pokemon to stay in the air and start heading west towards Lilicove preemptively, while she and Charizard carefully made their way to the ground. She fortunately remembered exactly where the Pokemon Center was so there was no question, and she rushed in and out after getting her stamp from Nurse Joy as quickly as she could, not wanting to spend any more time there than was truly necessary.
