Skylar Soren Leader Roxanne Champion Steven StoneAfter the Lopunny fell in battle, next was a Bayleaf. Steven was confident this was it. Nosepass was slowing down and clearly tired. After her one last good shot that took out the mega Pokemon, she was done for. Steven couldn't call for a direction in time for the compass to react as the razer leaf took her out. Steven returned his borrowed Pokemon and made his way over to the challenger. "Oh, I may have all the experience but Roxanne's Pokemon deserve all the credit for the battle." Steven smiled as he made his way towards the challenger. It was a very interesting battle to save the least. He reached Skylar, and held out the badge to him. "I can see you're a pretty well seasoned. Not every trainer has a legendary, a Pokemon I don't know, and a Mega Evolved Pokemon. Makes me wonder why you're here at the first gym." Skylar spoke, more so as a compliment then an actual critique but it was an interesting question he had been wondering. "But that being said, you might want to work with your Pokemon a bit longer and not rely on their strength alone." He spoke, giving a piece of advice. Steven would have never willingly put up a gym Pokemon against a legendary, but he had done fairly well which Steven assumed it meant Gale Storm was young. He wouldn't want to see the Pokemon, legendary or mega, bite off more then they could chew before they're ready. "That being said, You earned these rewards. I hope I get to see you and battle you again soon." Steven offered, wanting to truly battle Steven when he was ready, but as champion. An Erie feeling overcame him as he nears the cities limits. Within moments a group of wisps circled around the ground in front of Skylar, quickly backing up he readies himself as he sees 2 ghost type Pokémon appear in front of him from the wisps. Looking at the duo, it seemed like both were ready to attack, so he quickly grabbed two capsules from his belt, enlarging both pokeballs with the click of a button he let out his Ponyta Ikara and his Milotic Emellanna. He used his keystone which reacts with Emellanna’s Miloticite. Mega evolving on the spot Skylar wasn’t taking any risks in this confrontation. Taking the initiative Skylar was quick to attack with Ikara using flame wheel to deal a decisive blow to the Brambleghast while his Milotic would attack both of them with her water spout. Taking the Chandelure out aimlessly, while Brambleghast started to try and gain momentum using Rollout on Ikara, Skylar had Ikara finish up the bramble ghast with another flame wheel.
