If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or anything regarding systems in the guild, a clarification on how to do something specific, where to find information on a Pokemon or anything of the like, please post those questions here.

Well, first off I'd like to say welcome as one of the first and one of the newest members to our website. It's a pleasure to have you and I do hope you find your time enjoyable with us. In order to get started, we ask that you take a look through the 'Rules and Guidelines' subforum where all of our rules, systems, and important information can be found to give you an understanding of how our site works. From there, you may begin making a character profile in order to begin role playing, but as stated on the front page, right now the only regions open for role playing are Kanto and Johto, so if you would like to wait until one of the other regions is finished here in the next week or so, you are more than welcome to.

Is there any chance that the Orre region from Pokemon Colosseum and XD will be included at some point?

Is there any chance that the Orre region from Pokemon Colosseum and XD will be included at some point? At this point in time, no. We have been considering the other smaller regions like Orre, the Orange Islands, the Sevii Islands, ect, but right now there hasn't been much of a call for them. That is not to say that we will never add them, they might come in the future, and that is also not to say that you can't have a character that hails from the Orre region who has come to some of the main regions to start traveling if that is what you were looking for.

In the Rules & Guidelines, you said that posts should have some aesthetic to them; specifically, a picture of the character is mentioned. But what if, in the case of new original characters, we have no art to use for the posts? I mean, I personally am unable to draw my character, and don't have the means available to commission any artwork. What should be done in this case? Or am I misunderstanding this?
Also, once a character is created and their thread is posted, we're pretty much free to start roleplaying, right?

An aesthetic such as a picture is the most common form, but there are cases where characters do not have a picture, and that is fine. You're welcome to use other art, or borders, or just play around with the text and some symbols if you like. At the very least, we're just looking for something other than a black block of text for each post that way it's easier to read and see.
And yes, once your character profile is posted, you are free to make your first post in the laboratory of your choosing to request your starter Pokemon where either myself or WhitePrince will respond as the professor.

What is the difference between a Trainer's "claimed" Pokemon versus "unclaimed" ones, with regards to the Pokedex?

What is the difference between a Trainer's "claimed" Pokemon versus "unclaimed" ones, with regards to the Pokedex? Like what we have in my profile's or Paradisity's pokedexs, They are Pokemon that we have claimed from previous events, much like the Horoscope, but we just haven't been able to introduce the Pokemon into the roleplay for what ever reason. While the Claimed pokemon are the Pokemon that have already been captured and are with them or in their box system. Ad the other ones are just labeled as "Claimed Pokemon" because we felt the need to explain where they had come from, so it didn't look like we just gave these Pokemon to our characters, and that they have been brought with our characters from the other guild.

Hey guys! I have a quick question regarding multiple characters.
I have an idea for another character that I'd eventually like to rp, but I wanna get Kane further along in their journey before I actually introduce the new character into the roleplay. But could I go ahead and create a thread for the new character's profile and pokedex, and then introduce her in-rp once it's a more appropriate time?

Please allow me to talk with Prince on a second opinion, and one of us will come back to you with an answer.

I have a quick question: if we provide enough of a back story to justify it, is there a possible way to start with an alternative baby pokemon rather than one of the starters? If not no worries, but the character I am writing I would like to start with a tyrogue. If not, no worries, I was just curious!

I have good news and bad news. Unfortunately, Every character does have to start off in the labs and get the actual starters when they start off on their journey, so no the tyrogue couldn't be your starter. However, The good news is that you can actually claim a Tyrogue from our Horoscope give away. You can claim a level 15 Tyrogue and an item from the event by posting in there, and then work the tyrogue into your character's history. So technically, you can start off with a Tyrogue, but it just wont be the character's official starter from the labs.

Wanted to be sure you knew that the Easter Baby moves are not all included (yet) in the Contest movepool. I can’t find them at least. Celebrate, Happy Hour, and Twirl are all missing but you have Hold Hands (Cute: 1 Appeal, can’t be startled). Figure they’re being a pain, though, because I can’t decide in my head if they should all be Cute or if they have different categories. I’ll be studying Contest rules for when Liz resigns the Johto Gym League for the Coordinator League all the same. So excited this system is officially ready for play! Oh, I just noticed Leech Seed was missing! Assuming you’re using the game descriptions as is, it’s a Clever Move with 1 Appeal and “Gets the Pokemon pumped up. This prevents nervousness.” I’m glad I had that Skull Grunt coordinator to help me notice. I did not realize Substitute was Cute! I thought it would be Clever!

Whoops! Celebrate and Happy Hour are event exclusive moves in the games, so they weren't in the list of moves, as well as Twirl is a custom. I'll go work on adding those now! There are a lot, so if you happen upon anymore us know! :)
Darn, I noticed and forgot to add and fix Leech Seed. I'll fix that one right now too! XD
Yeah, there are some surprises in there that I thought were interesting category placements to. Huh lol
Edit: Done and they've been added! Those Easter Babies are Cute Contest machines turns out.

I have a question about the return of the lotto system! How does it work? Do we need to post somewhere to be entered, and what are the prizes like?

I have a question about the return of the lotto system! How does it work? Do we need to post somewhere to be entered, and what are the prizes like? So, you don't have to post anywhere specific to be entered, but once you reach 100 posts total we'll roll for your Trainer ID and you'll be automatically entered every month, and that's any posts not just roleplay posts. The only requirement to be enter after reaching 100 posts is to post once the month prior and that's it! The prizes you will receive will be determined base off of how many numbers your trainer ID has matching to the numbers we roll every month. The prizes will remain the same every time, and those prizes are listed in the first post of the thread.
