Contests
Please post here to request a contest

- Until further notice, all contests must be conducted with a moderator

Below is a run through of how contests are conducted
{Contest Structure (Click)}When entering a contest, the structure will be based on a best two out of three scenario in which both the challenger and the contest leader have three Pokémon each. The Pokémon will go up against each other one by one, and which ever Pokémon wins with the most appeal points wins that round, and whomever wins with at least two out of their three Pokémon, then they claim victory.
Upon starting the contest, your first round will be The Appeal Round. In the Appeal Round, you are introducing your Pokemon that you are going to be using. Any appeal points you have based on poffins/pokeblock or items that you've given your Pokemon are the basis of your score, and whom ever gets the highest score will be going first for the first Talent Round, and will start with +1 Audience Excitement
There are a total of three talent rounds. Talent Rounds are based on the appeal points that your Pokemon's attacks are worth and any bonus effects they might have. Each round is scored separately, and who ever has the highest score at the end of each round will be going first the next round, the second highest score will be going second. There are many variables that go into each Talent Round that can either help or hinder your final score where your Appeal Round and all three Talent Rounds are scored and if you had more winning rounds than the leader, then you will win the contest and be rewarded that contest's ribbon. For the fourth and fifth consecutive ribbon challenge, the aggregate amount of appeal points from both the appeal round and talent rounds will be added together, and the highest total will win the contest
- Audience Excitement/Boredom
- The audience for your contest depends greatly on your score if they are excited by your performances in each round or bored by them. If you use an attack that is of the same category as the contest you are participating in, then you will add +1 Audience Excitement point. Each Pokemon in the contest can affect the total Audience Excitement points by adding or taking away from them. The audience excitement points roll over into each new set of Pokémon.
- If you use a certain attack that is neutral to the audience depending on the category of the contest or the same attack consecutively, you will not earn an Audience Excitement point or be deducted one
- If you use a certain attack that does not excite the audience depending on the category of the contest, you will be deducted one Audience Excitement point
- If you reach the total number 3/3, 4/4, or 5/5 Audience Excitement points on your performance in a Talent Round, all of those points are added to your appeal in that round

- Using the same attack two turns in a row will result in -1 appeal
- You get +1 appeal point per talent round for using the same category attack as the contest, and -1 appeal point per talent round if you do not use the same category attack as the contest
- Depending on the performances before it in a round, your Pokemon may become startled which will take away points from your appeal that round
- If your Pokemon becomes nervous during a round due to an attack performed before your turn, your Pokemon will be unable to perform that round
- If you have a Mega Evolved Pokemon in the contest, you will gain +1 appeal point per Talent Round and +1 additional audience excitement point
- You can only use a Z move once per contest. Using a Z move will gain x2 the appeal points of the attack it replaced and +2 audience excitement if its of the same category of the contest
- There are special move combinations that you can use for a contest. Depending on the number of ribbons that a trainer has depends on whether or not the special move combination will go through
- With 0 Ribbons there is a 20% chance of it being successful, 1 Ribbon is 40%, 2 Ribbons is 60 %, 3 Ribbons is 70%, 4 Ribbons is 80%, and 5 Ribbons will guarantee sucess

{Poffins/Pokeblock (Click)}- You can only mix a maximum of two berries together at a time to make a poffin or a pokeblock
- The stats from the berries determine what kind of snack you will be making. If you are mixing two berries together, add all the stats together. | i.e. Mixing together a Bluk Berry (Dry +1, Sweet +1) and a Nanab Berry (Sweet +1, Bitter +1) will give you Sweet +2, Dry +1, Bitter +1
- If a bonus equals +2 or more, that determines the kind of snack | i.e. Sweet +3, Dry +2, Bitter +1 would end up with a Sweet Dry Poffin. With Sweet +4, Dry +1, you'd end up with just a Sweet Poffin
- In the odd case of a tie between different types, you get to choose what type the poffin will be. For example, Sweet +3, Dry +3, Bitter +3. You can choose a Sweet Dry Poffin, Sweet Bitter Poffin, Dry Bitter Poffin, etc, but you will only be able to choose a maximum of two types
Once you have the Poffin/Pokeblock type, you roll for the level
-Generate a random number between 1 & 10. This will be the base level for the snack
-If you used a 12-post berry, add +1 to the level
-If you used a 18-post berry, add +2 to the level
-If you used a 24-post berry, add +3 to the level
-If you used a 30-post berry, add +4 to the level
-If you used an event berry, add +5 to the level
The maximum level of a poffin you can make is a level 20 poffin. Minimum is level 3.
Once the level of your poffin/pokeblock is determined, use the list below to know how much of a bonus will be added to your Pokemon in each category once you feed it the snack. You can only feed your Pokemon a total of 6 snacks, and upon each snack it's fed, those bonuses cannot be changed or taken away.

You must have ribbons in order to control certain leveled Pokemon, otherwise they may not listen to you and just goof off. A Ribbon will only earn you the respect of your Pokemon so long as you have no Badges.
With no contest ribbons, you are only able to control Pokemon level 25 and under.
1 Regional Ribbon makes Pokemon up to Lv. 30 obey
2 consecutive Regional Ribbons make Pokemon up to Lv. 50 obey
3 consecutive Regional Ribbons make Pokemon up to Lv. 60 obey
4 consecutive Regional Ribbons make Pokemon up to Lv. 80 obey
5 consecutive Regional Ribbons makes all Pokemon obey
Other than your starter, if you have a Pokemon higher than the required level you must roll a single 6-sided dice. If you roll a 1, 3 or 5, your attack goes through. If it's any other number, your Pokemon disobeys you.
Along with obtaining ribbons, every time you obtain a certain number of collective ribbons, you can get bonus exp and some rewards, which are as follows.

Coordinator NPC Encounters
{Coordinator NPCs (Click)}NPC Coordinators
- There are plenty of other coordinators out there in the regions, and they're looking for practice just like league trainers
- It takes 20 RP posts per NPC encounter to come across an NPC
- NPC Coordinators can be found in any city, or any location with a gym or a contest leader
- You cannot run from an NPC encounter
- After you battle one NPC coordinator, you must post another 20 times
- You can use the same count for both league NPC trainers and Contest NPC coordinators
- When you encounter an NPC coordinator, you must roll for what category of Pokemon they will have in the dice rolling thread. Those numbers are as follows:
1- Cute
2- Tough
3- Beauty
4- Clever
5- Cool
- Once you generate what type of Pokemon they have trained, you can pick any Pokemon for them to work with as long as that Pokemon has at least three moves that fall under the correct category
- The coordinator's Pokemon must have three moves in their move set that fall under the respective category in order to go through with the encounter
- The number of ribbons that you do have will determine the level of difficult of the coordinator
-If you have 0 ribbons, your NPC coordinator can only have one Pokemon and their base appeal can go up to 10
-If you have 1 ribbon, your NPC coordinator will have one Pokemon and their base appeal can go up to 20
-If you have 2 consecutive ribbons, your NPC coordinator can have up to two Pokemon and their base appeal can go up to 30
-If you have 3 consecutive ribbons, your NPC coordinator can have up to two Pokemon and their base appeal can go up to 40

-If you have 5 consecutive ribbons, your NPC coordinator can have up to three Pokemon and their base appeal can go up to 55
How to conduct a Coordinator NPC encounter
- Coordniator NPC encounters will be conducted on a turn by turn basis much like a traditional battle
- The Pokemon with the most base appeal goes first in turn order unless affected by a move or otherwise
- Your Pokemon's "HP" and that of the opponent will be measured in base appeal. If from feeding your Pokemon poffins, they have a base appeal of 12 in the specified category, then your Pokemon has a start of 12 "HP" for conducting the encounter
- Any items such as scarves or barrets that your Pokemon have that add to your appeal also go towards their total "HP"
- The total amount of appeal points that your Pokemon's attacks have will create your final "HP" for the contest encounter
- The HP is calculated the same for the opposing coordinator as well
- The amount of appeal points that a Pokemon's attack has is the damage done. If an attack has 4 appeal points, then that's 4 damage done to the opponent when the attack is used
- Using the same category attack in the encounter will add +1 "damage"
- You cannot use the same attack twice in a row
- If a Pokemon becomes nervous they will not attack their next turn
- Startling a Pokemon will also draw from their total "HP"
- Every other turn, you and the coordinator can utilize no more than two attacks in one combination to create something unique, adding those appeal points together for total damage
- Your rewarded exp will be as follows
Base Appeal 1-10 give 5
Base Appeal 11-20 give 8
Base Appeal 21-30 give 12
Base Appeal 31-40 give 16
