 "Water and civilization in harmony."
North of Vaniville Town is a much, much larger river side town in south south eastern Kalos called Aquacorde Town. Magnificent views proceed every corner of this town with the beautiful forest that surrounds it in the south, and the crystal clear, sparkling river that flows under the Aquacorde bridge in the north. It too, like Vaniville Town, is lined by a carefully and well crafted smooth brick fence, but the northern edge of town only bears a bridge so it can show off it's beautiful riverside views and allow the towns people access to their favored river. The town itself is lively and full of hospitality, for there is always an abundance of people enjoying the outdoors with a cup of coffee or spending time with their Pokemon in the town's many outdoor sitting areas. Cobblestone streets and walkways line this town with it's cottage style buildings and white stoned fountain that holds it's place in the center of the town, brimming with the town's very own river water. When moving out into the town's forest past it's bridge, the wild Pokemon can get a little tougher and more abundant in the area, so Aquacorde Town, being so closely involved with those of Vaniville Town has it's very own resident nurse that takes care of those Pokemon and trainers who might still be trying to work on their strengths together, as well as a small shop for medicine, and another small shop for pokeballs.

She moved slowly, running her fingers along the building next to her, watching the people around her. A few paused to look at her, but it didn't feel like their gazes were fearful or accusing, simply just interested in another new face. She was a pokemon trainer, and they came in all shapes and sizes, and these people seemed to accept the differences. She was reminded of home, of all the people who would stand in front of her house and stare at it, all the kids who'd dare each other to knock on the door or sneak on the grounds to try and see her from the window. Taking a deep breath Eiri looked down at her Fennekin and smiled. He'd stopped and was staring at her with wide, curious eyes, his head tilted ever so slightly to the side. |

Once walking North, Thomas was surprised to find not a forest, but a path leading towards a much larger town. He was disappointed, having been looking forward to the opportunity for some much needed Pokemon training. He wanted to battle other Trainers, to catch wild Pokemon, anything to help him get stronger. Feeling weak was something that Thomas hated more than anything else.
He entered the town, gazing about. He couldn't focus on one thing for long as there was so much to take in. Quite a bit was happening. This town had the same type of streets as the last, but there were so many more people here. Couples sat in a sitting area, children playing both with each other and with Pokemon. Thomas was amused by this bustling City. He looked down at the two Pokeballs fastened to his specially designed Trainer's belt. Fennekin had been returned to her Pokeball when Thomas left the town.

Walking by and looking around, Thomas didn't realize until it was too late that there was a Pokemon sleeping in a nearby bush. It's tail was laying on the sidewalk, and Thomas accidentally stepped on it. The brown Pokemon sprung up, trying to bite Thomas. He stumbled back. Reaching for his Pokemon, he called out Fennekin to help.
The two Pokemon faced off. Zigzagoon wanted revenge, and Fennekin wanted to protect her Trainer. Zigzagoon growled, snapping at Fennekin. Fennekin replied by scratching Zigzagoon's face when it got too close. Their enemy must not have been very strong, because the Pokemon fainted with one hit. Thomas thanked his Pokemon, returning her to her home. "Sorry about that, little guy." He spoke with a kind tone, spritzing one of his many Potions onto the wild Pokemon before placing it safely into the bush it had been napping in.

Thomas overheard that there was a Nurse in this town, which would be good for those Trainers that couldn't handle something as simple as a Zigzagoon, but he was feeling confident with a win under his belt. This could be a good sign for his first Gym Battle. Thomas wondered around the town, taking in the sights before finding the exit. He looked back at the town again. He couldn't help but feel like there was something he was forgetting. When it didn't come to him, he turned back around and walked.

The short trip from Vaniville Town to Aquacorde Town had been uneventful to say the least. Carter was on edge though because he wanted to get his fletchling healed up more than anything to finally meet the Pokémon and see a bit about his personality. Totodile was brash and full of energy, Dragonair was reserved and graceful, what would his new partner be?
It hadn't taken him long to discover they didn't have a quote unquote Pokémon center but had a nurse who could heal Pokemon for the trainers in this town and he was sent her way with only a few directions needed. Luckily her shop was along the Main Street of this town that was much larger than the previous and he found it without too much confusion.
A bell rang as he opened the front door and a girl looked up from her counter, she looked like almost every nurse Joy he had ever seen but not quite. She had a soft smile on her face, " I need this fletchling I just caught lookednst if you could please. I don't want to have to sprint to the next town over." Carter said, his eyes almost begging.
She laughed quietly and took the pokeball in question before disappearing into a back room while the tall man stood awkwardly in the waiting room. After the first five minutes passed he decided to take a seat and wait it out. Totodile curled into a scaly ball on his lap and closed his eyes, letting out a sigh before diving into the world of sleep. While he waited Carter stared at the door the nurse had left from and gently petted his sleeping Pokemon.
Roughly an hour had passed before she returned with a smile on her face, "all better, nothing serious at all." She said, beaming now with perfect white teeth. He thought she had a quiet beauty to her and they were roughly the same age based off appearance but he didn't have time to pursue a girl when he was going to be leaving soon. He merely returned the smile and thanked her before leaving the shop with three healthy Pokémon.
Outside now that he wasn't soon focused on getting Fletchling patched up he could hear a rover near by and smell the running water. "We might as wel relax for a bit, we've only been here for a couple hours and we've gone through two towns and caught a new friend, can't move too fast" He said while he walked toward the river, it didn't take more than a few minutes for him to find its banks.
Upon reaching the water line he grabbed the pokeball housing Dragonair and tossed it into the air, the large serpentine dragon Pokémon manifested in a flash of red light, her blue skin shining in the sunlight and her large eyes staring at Carter. Totodile already knew what was up and was running for the water to swim for a while, "go enjoy some sunlight and the water for a bit. Don't want you cramped up in that pokeball."
His right hand patted her strong neck before she nodded and turned silently toward the water, slithering the entire way down with a quiet excitement. He had wanted to let the two get out and play for a bit and there was enough room for Dragonair to move around freely now as well but he mainly wanted a moment to welcome his new Pokémon to the team. Again he grabbed a pokeball off his belt and opened it, another red beam spitting a Pokémon into reality. The tiny bird Pokémon fluffed its feathers up and stared at Carter with a questioning look in its eye,
"He little guy, I didn't really get a chance to introduce myself earlier but I'm Carter, I'm sorry about that earlier but I wanted to catch you and Totodile was excited to get a fight in. If you're mad I understand." He said. Fletchling blinked rapidly three times before chirping and twisting its head as if he was confused. Next he flapped his tiny wings before lifting up and flying to Carter's head where he pecked him three times, not exactly gently.
Carter winced but he guessed he deserved it for earlier, once that was done the bird flew off of him and landed on the grass in front of him. Carter chucked before he sat down next to the bird, "I guess that's fair. You've already met Totodile earlier but there's also Dragonair too, she's a little more calm." He said before reaching out to run the spot at the base of Fletchlings beak where a chin would have been and he was rewarded with a quick chirping noise before the Pokémon flew up and landed on his knee cap, its dark eyes watching the other two as they swam.
So he had a brash Totodile, a calm Dragonair, and now a quizzical Fletchling. It was well rounded group so far with a mixed set of characters and he couldn't complain. Next though he would start training these three up before catching anymore.

The day was turning to night by the time Carter called his remaining two Pokémon in. Totodile sat on Dragonair's head as she slithered up out of the river and toward him. He wasn't in the mood to make anyone get back into their respective pokeball and the weather was nice enough for him to want to camp out instead of grab a hotel for the night.
With a sigh he lifted himself up, feeling stiff from sitting so long and his back stinging from the sunburn he had sustained a few days before. Fletchling chirpped in protest as he had just settled in on Carter's head but they had to get moving. Hefting his back pack Carter started to whistle as the gang headed out of town, Fletchling flying ahead and circling back to pass the time, Dragonair slithering next to Carter as he walked and Totodile electing to take his usual place on Carter's right shoulder.
He could have just stayed where they were playing on the river but he wanted to sleep under the stars and outside of all of the noise of the city plus in the morning he wanted to get a start on heading to the next area. This town didn't have much to offer in the way of gyms or trainers to battle so he was getting antsy. But before he left town all the way he would need to stock up on supplies, Pokémon food and human food alike. He had enough to make dinner tonight around the fire and they would all eat well but depending on the forest ahead of him he might need to pack more than his current supplies.
After walking for about ten minutes he came to the edge of town and found a nice thicket of trees by the river to camp near. After a couple minutes they had gathered enough tinder to get a small fire going before Carter brought out a collapsible pot to boil a stew in.
While the stew was heating up he got some bowls out with standard pokefood for the three to eat. He sat staring at the river from a log by the fire while the three ate, he wished he had brought his old rod but had decided to leave it at home before beginning his journey. He quickly dismissed it and went back to looking at Totodile, he needed to figure out what ability the Pokémon had because he knew it was either torrent or sheer force. Those were the abilities a Totodile could have and so far he was unsure, it would present itself when a move that required sheer force to activate came along like bite, if he had Sheer Force Carter was going to buy a Life Orb for him, he would gain the positive affects of the Orb without the recoil to his health.
He was already sure Dragonair didn't have shed skin because of the state he found her in, she had to have marvel scale which was good because as a Dragonite it would allow her to take reduced damage from the first hit she reached in battle.
Fletchling based off what the pokedex said would have Big Pecks making all damage with moves like peck higher in power. It was a good ability for the bird but he believed when it evolved it might change, not that he knew much about its evolution yet.
When he finished assessing his team he nodded to himself and went to the stew which had just finished boiling. It was a hot beefy broth with chunks of green apple and potato added in. He didn't like the practice of eating meat since Pokemon were his friends and had forsaken it when he became a ranger. The beef flavoring was simply a flavor packet that he was fond of. The stew went down quick as he wasn't aware just how hunger he had been until he started eating. By the time he was finished he looked to his tent to see Totodile curled up on his sleeping bag sleeping with Fletchling sleeping on his back.
Only Dragonair was still awake and she was staring at the stars, "One day you'll have beautiful wings and fly amongst those stars girl. " Carter said while putting the fire out before walking passed her to the tent. He slid into his sleeping bag without waking the two sleeping friends and listened in the darkness as Dragonair slid into the tent and wound herself into a nice snug coil next to everyone else. Carter smiled as he realized how lucky he was to be surrounded by these Pokémon, wondering why he had ever given up training before.

With a yawn the trainer woke up still covered in his Pokémon from the night before when they all turned in. Today they would move into the thick forest ahead and see what awaited them. He was hopeful to get at least two battles in before they made it out and to the next town.
Fletchling and Totodile both needed some battling, he knew looking at his three Pokemon that Dragonair was stronger than the two were so he was okay with leaving her training off for a bit. Totodile was his next strongest followed by Fletchling and he didn't doubt that he could get the two of them up to par with a short spat of battles.
Once decided he adjusted himself and woke his well rested Pokémon, today he elected to keep Totodile out of his pokeball again and had the other two return to their balls. Afterward he quickly disassembled his camp and tossed dirt over the still smoldering coals from the fire the night before. It took roughly an hour to do but the day was still young when he was finished. Looking to Totodile the two nodded as they always did, their connection already growing strong. The nod signified that it was time to depart and begin the next stage of their journey, "I want to get you and Fletchling a few levels higher in power then maybe we will challenge a gym." Carter said absent mindedly.
His scaled blue companion thumped his thigh with his tail and jumped up and down in excitement, wherever there was battle Totodile would be found, he had developed a taste for it after fighting Fletchling. It made Carter laugh, "don't get y though bud, I'm sure we are going to get beat a few times along the way on this journey. Just stay humble and level headed."
Totodile echoed his name in agreement as they headed to the thick tree line before them that was the forest.

Kintaro Satoshi Kintaro had easily wandered from Vaniville all the way to Aquacorde without incident. It was somewhat boring. He couldn't enjoy a grand adventure if he didn't have some excitement! Or, he would feel that way, if he weren't fixated on teaching Odiss code while he was on "vacation."Attica took in the sights and sounds of the modest Kalos town, enjoying her walk with her trainer as well. Kintaro was carefully avoiding people as if he'd been doing it since he was a child. "Don't forget to put this set in here, that will help you maintain a stable code map. Now try." He explained, giving the Chespin his tablet once more to let him try out techniques he hadn't been allowed to before. He wasn't making complete code sets just yet, but he was doing enough to affect the program Kintaro was using as a training tool. It was working surprisingly well. Odiss was playing with the information a lot of the time, but Kintaro was successfully teaching his Chespin exactly what he had set out to do. He should probably be more proud, and praise Odiss for it. But the middle-aged man wasn't too interested in the reinforcement right now. He took the tablet back once Chespin had thoroughly messed up part of the information for a different program. "Keep working. You may have a real knack for this." He stated before taking a break and giving his Pokemon treats to eat while they rested. It was a nice, modest little town and there was a lot to take in for a tourist like Kintaro. Kintaro Satoshi "What do you mean I 'can't come back?!'" Kintaro had called his boss to report his acquisition of a Pokemon, and she had some bad news for him. "Yeah, sorry Kinny! We just don't have room for you here! But I do like these reports, you should keep doing this." Allie declared with an impish smile. "Attica~! Sweetheart! We miss you back here! You keep taking care of Kinny, OK?" Attica was watching the screen with no small sign of contempt. The Pawniard liked Kintaro's boss less than any other female in existence. Where Kintaro treated Attica like she was someone, Allie tended to treat her like a Glameow. It drove the metal Pokemon mad. She could enjoy a nice pampering as much as the next girl, but she hated Allie for making her feel like some kind of Pokedoll. Plus Kintaro had a crush on her, so that upset Attica too. "I don't need to send you reports, I need to come back to work. And...send you...reports." Kintaro insisted through clenched teeth. He faltered when he realized he technically wasn't doing anything different if he went back to Lumiose. That wasn't the point, though! "Ma'am, I think you're making a mistake. The agents--" "--are fine! I'm fine. They're fine. Everybody's fine Kintaro! I told you I could handle this without you! Just try to enjoy this vacation, OK?" The young woman insisted, frowning at the way Kintaro looked quietly defeated at her declaration. She wanted him to get out there and see the world. "Hey, tell you what. You go meet up with the Gym Leader in Cyllage City and get a badge and then we'll talk. How's that? Can't you do that for me, Kinny?" The woman was really hamming up the cuteness factor to get Kintaro to agree. He only scowled down at the screen and it took a moment before his sharpened stare made sense. "Yes. Ma'am." He bit out, ticked off by the mention of his birthplace. He had a lot of things he would rather forget, Cyllage City was one of them. Allie immediately regretted naming the city without thinking. "Kinny? I'm so--" Odiss looked shocked that Kintaro would hang up on someone like her. The Chespin looked down at Attica which only confirmed that this was not normal as she also had a look of surprise.
Attica followed Kintaro as they headed onward. Neither Pokemon dared speak with the gloomy and tense aura Kintaro gave off. He looked intimidating even with his lanky frame taut now with stress and sour memories. He proceeded out to the edge of town, already preparing to move on to Santalune City as quickly as possible. Once he passed through there, he could go to Cyllage, get the Badge, and go back to Lumiose City. That wasn't how things worked, that wasn't how the Gym Challenge worked, and Kintaro knew all of it. He didn't want to accept the truth of that just now. Kintaro Satoshi Attica was too distracted thinking about the issue that could ahve caused Kintaro to get so upset with Allie. Sure she was happy to know he was angry with her, but she had never seen him behave like this before. He was much more surly and Odiss had fallen quiet after the long silence from his trainer made him anxious about trying to break the silence. Kintaro remained sour even as they began to enter Santalune Forest. The two Pokemon were unsure how to proceed, and Attica was too distracted worrying about Kintaro to think about her surroundings. Tripping over a Scatterbug didn't do anybody any favors. The little worm Pokemon let out a distressed noise before Attica cried out and tumbled over it. Her fall caused her to cut Kintaro's calf accidentally, making the man cry out in pain and shout with anger. "Attica! Watch where you're going!" He snapped, making the Pawniard flinch even as she got back up to fight the Scatterbug. The little Bug Pokemon made another noise, but appeared to be trying to avoid a fight. Kintaro scowled at the bug, then his Pawniard. "Let's go. We have a lot more ground to cover." He remarked, intending to leave the little Pokemon behind. Attica faltered, frowning back at Kintaro and facing off with the newcomer once more. Kintaro Satoshi Attica was not happy to deal with a strange Pokemon, especially with all the tension going on among them right now. She even flapped her hands at the Scatterbug, urging it to leave them alone. "Hmm? A Scatterbug. How interesting. Are you ready for your first Battle, Attica?" Kintaro asked, getting a stiffened cry of surprise from the Pawniard. She hadn't realized that her partner had regained his composure and was now studying the appearance of the Bug Pokemon. The battle was...disappointing, if Kintaro were to be honest. Attica had only one Move to even try to use, and the Scatterbug had no chance against the Steel Type. Odiss watched with awe-filled eyes at the way Attica attacked each time, taking in her motions and decisions like it was some kind of intricate dance she was performing. Attica took advantage of her training and used her attacks to maneuver Scatterbug in directions she wanted it to go. It was ultimately cornered and defeated even as it bashed sharply against Attica in an attempt to get away from her. "Excellent work, Attica. Just what we're going to need. Scatterbug can be quite useful, and Vivillon will make an excellent addition to the team in time." He explained mostly to himself. Scatterbug was beaten and Kintaro easily caught it without much effort. The ball toned as its light dimmed and he urged the pair to come back with him to heal the Scatterbug before moving on into Santalune Forest. "Odiss, keep an eye on Attica for me. I have to speak with the Nurse about your new companion." He informed his Chespin, who promptly saluted and dutifully stared at Attica. Kintaro would come back out to Odiss nursing a lump on his head and Attica pouting a few feet away, irritated that she was the one being babysat when she was the responsible Pokemon here!

Aquacorde was beautiful. Had there not been so many people around Hanako would have loved it. She was almost regretting switching her bandages out for one of her usual eye patches during the walk to the town now. The stress induced irritation was on the verge of starting up again. She doubted that she would be able to make it through the town had she been by herself. Having her Pokemon with her made something that would have once terrified her feel so much less daunting. The sound of her camera taking a picture pulled her from her thoughts. She had surrendered the device to Primrose, the Illumise, during the walk over as the Pokemon had seemed fascinated by it. The Pokemon had flown up high enough to take a picture of their surroundings. This seemed like the perfect place for pictures. She was glad she had let Primrose play with the camera.
As pretty as the town was, she really didn't think she wanted to spend anymore time there than she had to. The forest ahead was bound to have fewer people. Before continuing on she would find a decent place to take a picture with her Pokemon. While it wasn't an overly eventful part of their journey, it was still somewhere new.

Hanako was pretty sure irritating a Fletchling had now been on the agenda when she first entered the town but now here she was, engaged in her first Pokemon battle. Zinnia was fully prepared to take the Fletchling on. She, however, was not. "C-can't we talk this out?" To be fair, it was entirely their fault that the poor bird was so upset. Primrose had decided to take a picture of it and the flash from the camera had startled it. Perhaps it wasn't all bad though. Wasn't one of the goals of a trainer to capture new Pokemon? She would have to do this eventually either way. That being said, the battle was fairly uneventful. By the end of it Zinnia was entirely unharmed. Despite all its threats the Fletchling could do very little against the Froakie.
Round 1: Zinnia used Pound! (-40) Fletchling fainted!
Hanako used Pokeball. Fletchling was captured!
Zinnia could not have looked more proud when the Fletchling was captured. He had won his first battle! "You did great, Zin!" Part of her felt bad about knocking out the Fletchling but Zin's enthusiasm was infectious. She couldn't help but be happy with him. Their first battle had been a success. She picked up the Froakie and kissed his head affectionately. A quick visit to the nurse was in order before they could take their picture and continue on to their next destination. Hopefully the Fletchling was willing to forgive them when it woke up.

A quick visit to the nurse later and Hanako had gotten herself back on track. The Fletchling, which she had named Lily, seemed utterly indifferent towards her, but she still refused to move from her shoulder. Since it didn't appear that the Pokemon hated her she would allow her to have her way for the time being. She needed to make up for knocking the poor thing out after all. The small group had gathered by the fountain, setting up the camera just far enough away to get all of them in the shot. It was a simple task considering that three of the four Pokemon in her company were perfectly happy clinging to her, much to the dismay of Primrose. Any attempts the Illumise had made at straightening out Hanako's hair and clothes for the picture were ruined a few seconds later by the other Pokemon. As soon as the picture was taken Hanako packed up her things, making it a point to keep the camera in her bag this time, and began to make her way out of the town. The last thing they needed right now was another incident with an upset Pokemon. If Prim really wanted to, Hanako would let her play with the camera later. Preferably when they were somewhere away from other people and Pokemon.

While Kira went into the Pokemon Center strictly for a stamp, her dragons remained outside to be admired by a gathering crowd. Some of her team liked to show off, but all the attention was clearly bothering the others. She returned some of them to their Pokeballs for a well-deserved rest, including Charizard. The starter Pokemon was her most trustworthy of her dragons, but Charizarrd had been working overtime here lately to take her from place to place. She'd earned a break.
Kira needed nothing else fro the small=ish Aquacorde Town, but she stuck around for a little while anyway. After flying over the open ocean for so long, her Pokemon weren't ready to set off again quite so soon. She completely understood and only wanted to help by letting them rest as long as they needed. They didn't even fly around her, instead choosing to walk with her down the street. They stopped for lunch beside a lovely fountain and watched some kids playing with a couple of Bug-Types.

Elfana Aroway By the time she arrived in Aquacorde the discomfort in her back had worked itself. That would be the last time she tried to nap on a train. She didn't pay much mind to the majority of Aquacorde. The town was cute but it didn't look like the sort of place she where she would find anything that would hold her interest. As she had planned, she stopped in at the Pokemon Center and collected her stamp. Immediately after she went to take a shower and change her clothes. Her Pokemon could rest in the lobby until she was done. Buying clothes to wear while traveling turned out to be entirely pointless. Elfana went right back to her preferred heels and a dress. At least she thought to wear a simple jacket with it. While it wasn't much progress, it was better than none. Their next stop was a forest so she would likely end up regretting her choice to switch back to heels sooner than later. That was still a problem for future her. Current Elfana was collecting her party and making her way towards Santalune Forest. Kalos

She continued to ride along on Salamence’s broad back, mentally taking notes of his movements in the air and the dimensions of his body knowing that she was going to have to make him a new saddle. Like Lynno, since he had also transformed into this new stage of evolution, his saddle didn’t fit any more either. Nevertheless, Emiri knew that it would be a fun time to make them their new saddles when it came time, but for now it wasn’t something that she was too concerned about. She had only really made the saddles that she did for when she had made the attempt to get into that racing circuit, otherwise riding bareback was something that she had done comfortably for years prior.
It wasn’t too much longer before they reached Aquacorde Town to the south of the region, a small town but beautiful and spacious regardless. Emiri and her Pokemon moved through the open skies and came down towards the Pokemon Center in order to land, and Emiri entered into the facility with her stamp book at the ready. Another stamp gained, and just a couple more to go for the region, Emiri moved back out to her Pokemon and took off into the air again to continue. Script wandered into the large town and gazed around with wide crimson eyes full of wonder. The place was beautiful! The sound of water danced in the air, mixed with the happy sounds of people conversing with each other merrily. It seemed like a wonderful place full of things to explore! Script hugged Frofro close like a stuffed animal and looked around for a few minutes before skipping off along the river. He watched the water slide by over the pebbly shore and moved down to the water's edge. Without much through to his clothing Script wadded in up to his theighs in the crystal clear water, gently lowering Frofro into the current so the Froakie could enjoy cooling off as well. With happy squeals the Froakie dove under the water and swam around her trainer's legs, enjoying the smile that brightened his face as he gazed at her. It felt so nice to swim in the hot sunlight.

"Miss! You'll catch a cold!" A kind woman's voice caught Script's attention as a woman walked up to him looking concerned, her eyes flickering up and down him before landing on the Froakie in his arms. "Oh you're a pokemon trainer! You must have been training in the river, hm? You best head to the pokecenter and get dry before you go anywhere, else you might end up sick!" Script blinked up at the woman before giving her a smile, unbothered by the concerned way she looked over his scars or the fact that she thought he was a girl.
"I will Ma'am, thank you!" With a bow he headed off towards the pokemon center as the woman had told him to do, humming a little tune as he went.

Script trudged back into town covered in mud and looking like he'd been through hell. He immediately headed towards the pokemon center he had visited earlier and ran in with tear-stained cheeks as he chaotically tried to explain to the nurse what had happened. In return she promised to take good care of his froakie and handed him a handkerchief to dry his tears before taking Frofro to the back. Script sat in the waiting room and brought his knees up to his chest before hugging his legs and cradling his head against his knees. He felt awful. The boy cried for a moment before he pressed his face into the handkerchief and forced himself to stop, crying wouldn't help Frofro.

"Frofro!" Script jumped to his feet and ran over, scooping up the Froakie and hugging her tightly. He was happy to see that she was ok and healthy, but he still felt horrible for getting her hurt. "I'm sorry! Sorrysorrysorry..." Frofro frowned at his words and dabbed a hand at his cheeks as the boy began to cry softly again, her expression looking distressed that her trainer was so upset.
"Now now, you have to be strong for your pokemon, she looks so worried about you. It's part of a trainer's job to nurture and grow their pokemon, all you can do is try your hardest. If things go wrong again I'll be here to help." At the nurse's soft words Script slowly nodded and managed to stop crying once again, even managing a smile for her.
"T-thank you, m-ma'am." Frofro cuddled in close to the boy's chest to reassure him and after a few more moments Script seemed more like his usual joyful self.

After saying their goodbyes Script and Frofro headed out of the pokemon center and stood in the town square for a moment as Script fully got ahold of himself. He took a deep breath of air and suddenly shoot his head wildly to clear his chaotic thoughts. Frofro watched him worriedly until the boy smiled down at her and they headed slowly back towards the forest.
"Are you sure you want to try the dark again?" Script's words jumbled a little, but Frofro had a good idea of what he meant. "Froak!" She smiled up at her trainer and reached up to nuzzle his cheek for a moment before looking towards the forest. "Okay." With that the two headed into the woods to try again at this whole adventure thing.

Arriving for the third time in Aquacorde town Script felt exhausted. The day had taken it's toll on him and the night even more so. He was out of breath and panting by the time the town's lights enveloped him, sitting down on the side of the street and cradling his pokemon to his chest. Listening to his pokemon's reassuring murmurs he eventually caught his breath and seemed to calm down a little, the fear drawing back to the corner of his mind for now. He had had quite an adventure for his first day as a trainer, but he had met two new friends in the process so he couldn't be happier. Despite his pokemon cuddled close to him he felt strangely... lonely. So much so that it hurt like a thorn in his heart. However, just like with most things in this world, he simply didn't understand. Worried and confused Script soon dozed off on the ground, his pokemon tucked safely in his arms.
