Ken was getting ready to pack up and head for Oreburgh, he had seen enough of the small town and felt like his party was going to be in a good enough shape by the time that he got there to be able to Oreburgh. As long as Kiryu was in good shape he’d be just fine anyways. Making his way out of the city, he locked eyes with a young trainer who looked a little edgy for the town, like a punk kid too cool for school. He sighed as he knew what was coming next as the kid stomped towards him.
“Hey, we locked eyes, that means we have to battle!” The young girl with much too much makeup on her face expanded the ball in her hand, and tossed it out. He barely had time to step back out of the way as a small purrloin came from the ball. “Go Purrty!” She yelled out. Ken grimmaced, how could a punk like this have named her pokemon Purrty? “Alright you want some?” Reaching back he tossed a ball out, “you’re up Lyn!” The toxel released from her ball and let out a shaky cry. This was the first time he’d used her in battle. She was much less impressive than he thought she was, but either way he wanted to get her some battle experience. “Alright let’s start off with Nuzzle!” Ken pointed out towards the Purrloin. “Nuh uh, Purrty fake him out!” The purrloin ran towards the toxel with its arms behind its back before bringing them out in front of her and clapping. The sound wave caused Lyn to flinch. “You like that? We could go all day! Now follow up with a growl and let’s take some bite out of them!” “Tch,” Ken huffed, “Ok our turn, let’s go for that nuzzle again!” The toxel rubbed her cheeks and jumped in at her foe releasing the electrical energy when she rubbed against the purrloin. The electricity coursed through, paralyzing his foe. Ken wiped his nose with his thumb and looked down at his opponent. “Alright well let’s see what you do now?” He was much ier than he should have been considering the state of the fight. “Purrty, time for some fury swipes,” The purrloin jumped in again, waving her claws rapidly at the toxel, hitting it 4 times and doing substantial damage. He didn’t think he’d be getting outclassed by some goth girl. “Use acid, let’s poison em!” Toxel spit a glob of black acid at the purrloin, which hit it before being shaken off. “Acid doesn’t poison your opponent dummy!” The girl chortled as she laughed at the older trainer clearly trying to fake his way through this battle. The acid did do some damage, as Purrty ate a small berry she was holding, he hadn’t noticed it before now, which he thought was cheap, but he did know about berries. She put her hands on her hips and laughed again, “wow you’re really new to this aren’t you!? I’m gonna take you for all you have! Purrty, time for a scratch, finish this chump off.” The purrloin’s claws glowed before leaping in the air and knocking out the toxel. It jumped back with its trainer and put its hand on its hips the same way it’s trainer had before the two shared a laugh, “Now pay up dork!” “As if,” he returned Lyn to her ball and sent out another, “Kiryu, you’re up!” The treecko came from the red energy of the ball and crossed his arms with a huff. “W-what?! I thought you only had one pokemon!?” The girl stomped her feet on the ground in a huff, “lame! If I would have known that I wouldn’t ha…”“Quick attack!” Ken shouted the order and Kiryu jumped off his back foot and rocketed towards the taunting cat pokemon before striking it with a flashing quick blow. He was light on his feet, like a boxer and quickly leaped back to put some distance. “Hey what the hell!? Not cool! Purrty scratch him and knock his ass out!” The girl barked angrily as the purrloin launched another scratch, it connected and hurt Kiryu, but it wasn’t over yet as when it stepped back he could tell that it was on shaky legs. “You idiot! Don’t attack when we’re not ready!”
“Alright alright,” Ken rubbed the back of his head with his sharp eyes never losing sight of the girl, “are you ready yet?” Before she could answer he spoke again, “too bad, Kiryu quick attack!”
“Uwwwaaahh!” The girl shrieked as Kiryu’s quick attack knocked the purrloin to the ground and knocked it out, “You suck! Nomel Berry 21/24 Like he remembered, Sandgem town was quiet, at least being on the outskirts after having left the train station. Copper could hear the train scooting off in the distance, starting towards its next stop already, and he half wondered where it was going now? He could only imagine that there were still so many places in the world that he’d never even heard of before, let alone visited, and maybe one day he could have the gall to become that well traveled as to know where a given location was off the top of his head. He mused on the thought, this whole starting over thing was definitely starting to take its hold on his realizations of things, wanting to buckle down and do things the right way, a better way than he had before, he was sure that he could accomplish much more this time around.
First and foremost, Copper knew that he was going to need to get to know more about the newer Pokemon that he had with him. Sure, he had Cassio, Ostinato, and Abban with him for safe travels, his longest companions, but he wanted to train with his new teammates to see what they could do with the Sinnoh League. Copper heard rustling in the bushes around them, maybe a wild Pokemon? So he took out Orion’s Pokeball, wondering if he and the small Cleffa might be able to have a fun first battle together.
”Okay Orion, let’s see what this says,” Copper said aloud as he took out his Pokedex, and he listened as the device identified the Pokemon that emerged as a Kricketot, a small bug type Pokemon.

Once morning came, Quinn got up and got ready for the day knowing that the ship would arrive soon to her destination. Once she was ready, she checked her X-transceiver and reread the research task sent to here the previous day by Professor Juniper. Once again though, Quinn frowned as she read it, being surprised and mildly disappointed in how vague it was. “Evolve a Pokemon to its next stage,” was all the research task said in its description. Having slept on the message though, Quinn began to realize that perhaps being allowed to research so openly under Professor Juniper was a blessing she hadn’t come to fully appreciate yet. That being said, she still hoped there would be a bit more direction, at least at first, but then she thought that perhaps Professor Juniper already trusted her research judgment. Quinn took a deep breath when all of a sudden, the PA system of the ship came on. From it, a cheerful feminine voice announced the ship’s momentary arrival at Sandgem Town. After the PA system turned back off, Quinn finished collecting her things and getting ready for the day before leaving her room to the disembarking area. On the way there, she saw Maralyn getting out of her room and about to head to get off the ship as well. “Ah, Maralyn. Good morning. I hope you are well-rested to begin your journey,” Quinn stopped near her to say. “Oh, hello, Ms. Quinn Liberati. I slept surprisingly well, yes. I think talking to you yesterday helped me get over my nerves to start this adventure.” “That is good to hear, even though I don’t consider myself a good motivational speaker. If you would like, I could accompany you to Professor Rowan’s lab in Sandgem Town. I am familiar enough with the area and have some business I need to attend to there anyway.” “Oh! He couldn’t necessarily make out the details of the battle of course, but his Pokedex could at least help him identify some of the techniques that were being used, particularly Orion’s use of a basic pound attack that he knew. That didn’t seem particularly fairy like though… Copper knew that in instances like Cassio being an electric type and knowing electric type attacks, that was the case most of the time, but didn’t quite apply this time, at least not yet. Orion was still small, he knew that he was referred to as a “baby” stage despite his mobility and cognisance and not actually needing to be tended to like a baby, so maybe he just didn’t yet know something that was considered a fairy type attack.

He knew he was rushing trying to get out of Unova while doing that race, so his parents wouldn’t find him then, and he didn’t really feel like he earned the badges he had from that time. Sure, Cassio, Ostinato, and Abban all grew strong from those battles and were able to keep up the fight pretty well, but if he were being honest, he didn’t feel like he learned anything about how to actually prepare for a battle and how to work on strategy or how to make sure his Pokemon were well prepared to take on a battle. That’s why, he hoped, taking the time to slow down and really learn about the Sinnoh Gym league might help him finally take the steps to apply the things he was trying to learn like Pokemon types, and becoming more familiar with different species, and how to be an effective trainer. Was he expecting to become a high level trainer or a professional at it, if that was a thing? He had been on his way over there before, but he never did end up getting there to make an attempt at challenging the gym. Cassio walked beside Copper while Orion bounced around loftily along the path, and Copper patted the top of Cassio’s head for support while he held his leash in his hand.
”So, if the gym is a rock type leader, I remember rock types are weak to water… but what else, I don’t have any water type Pokemon except Ostinato, but I think he might be too strong for that gym…,” Copper started to ponder out loud, at least knowing that rock was weak to water, but he couldn’t recall what else, and he was really trying to start memorizing these things so that he could start to apply it in battle.
”I don’t want to ask the Pokedex again… Wait, grass, rock types are weak to grass type attacks,” Copper recalled then, this time checking his Pokedex to listen if he was right, and he did in fact recall correctly that rock type Pokemon were weak to grass type attacks.

Maralyn and Quinn disembarked from the ship once they were allowed to. As Quinn previously warned Maralyn, she walked fast once they were clear of the crowd of people. Maralyn struggled at first to keep up with her shorter legs, despite wearing running shoes. They made a few turns here and there down streets of varying busyness until they finally reached Professor Rowan’s Lab. The lab was rather humble in appearance and matched with the surrounding buildings. Quinn and Maralyn walked inside and were greeted by an assistant. “Welcome! Are you both new trainers?” “No, at least I am not. She, however, is here to receive her first Pokemon to start her journey as a trainer,” Quinn said as she gently nudged Maralyn. “Ah, yes! I am here for my first Pokemon. My name is Maralyn.” “Alrighty then, if you don’t mind, just follow me, Ms. Maralyn! As for you, ma’am, why are you here?” “I have some business to attend to with someone else here in the lab,” Quinn replied. Suddenly, another head popped out from behind on the shelves beyond where they were standing. “Is that who I think it is?” The head was of a young, blonde-haired woman. She wore a typical white lab coat and had her hair tied up in a long ponytail behind her head. The young woman rushed out from behind the bookshelf and came to meet Quinn. “Yes! It is you! I am so glad to see you made it here safely! Sorry I wasn’t at the front waiting for you… I thought I had more time before you arrived.” “Oh, so you know this person, Gwen?” “As a matter of fact, yes, I do. If she hasn’t told you yet, I am the person she has business with, so please go away and help the other trainer!” Gwen replied clearly annoyed and flustered at her companion. “Well, fine then! Come this way, Maralyn!” The young man said before storming off with Maralyn. Maralyn followed the man and waved goodbye to Quinn as she did, who gave her a slight wave back. “I am so sorry for Toby! He is a bit nosy and rude sometimes. You know, boys, right?” Gwen said in a huff, “Anyways, follow me this way so we can double-check some things before we send you off into the world, Quinn.” Quinn smiled slightly, relieved to see her friend Gwen for the first time in a while. The two were rather close, but were unable to see each other very often since Gwen left to research under Professor Rowan some time ago. Quinn was always envious of Gwen’s freedom and opportunity, but she would never admit it. Gwen, on the other hand, was always envious of Quinn’s innate success and ease at which she made accomplishments, something she would also never openly admit.

Like Orion, Coda was a small thing, he didn’t exactly have a good grasp on what shape he was, or really what he looked like at all, just being able to make out the edges of a round puff of a shape, but he held Coda out in his hands as he’d let to Cottonee out from his Pokeball, barely able to feel his weight at all.
”Alright Coda, you’re going to help us get ready for the first gym here,” Copper stated, putting it out in the universe that he was actually going to do it, he was going to go and challenge the gyms for the Sinnoh Region for sure. But first, he knew he needed to start training some more and get to know his Pokemon, so he let Coda down onto the ground with Orion as they continued on the path they were on, when two Pokemon sounds caught Copper’s attention. He had his Pokedex in hand, but did recognize the sound of one Pokemon, since he had just found a Kricketot before a little bit ago. The other one the Pokedex identified for him as a Starly, a flying type Pokemon.
”Hmm, okay, Orion, use Pound again, and Coda, well… I’m not really sure what you can do yet, can you try an attack for me,” Copper asked aloud, unsure of what exactly Coda was capable of yet, but gosh darnit he was going to learn as his two Pokemon moved towards their prospective opponents.

Amos toddled through the town, his brand new Chimchar knuckle-walking along at his heel. The fire-type looked at Amos adoringly, he loved his new partner! He'd expected a child like so many of his friends had been gifted to, but he wasn't going to complain! He was special, and that was that!
A Starly fluttered into their path, ruffling her feathers and staring Chachi down. Battle? Did he went to battle? Chachi looked at Amos, did he want them to battle? And Amos nodded, why not try it? "Chachi, use Scratch!"
With that, the Starly toppled over before it could even use an attack.

Quinn and Gwen walked towards a different part of the lab than Toby and Maralyn. As they did, the two chatted a bit, “So, Quinn, I was so excited to hear that you were being allowed to leave your parent’s watchful eyes! How did you manage to convince them to let you leave Black City without one of your bodyguards?” “I actually didn’t need to convince them. They suddenly decided that it was time for me to perform research under a Professor, which seemed to also mean that I no longer needed a bodyguard to watch me. Although, being out from under their watchful eyes doesn’t seem to have been their intent, hence why I chose to come here now instead of staying in Unova.” “I see…. That is unfortunate that it turned out that way, but we can certainly help liberate you here! Charles mentioned something about a found Porygon in your X-transceiver? We may need the Pokemon’s help to truly ensure there are no more wiretaps on you.” “I believe it will cooperate. It seemed rather worried when I discovered it and even more concerned as to what might happen to it if my parent’s found out. I don’t think it wanted to spy on me.” “Well, that is good to hear! Anyways, we are here at my part of the lab!” The two had entered a surprisingly spacious part of the lab with a large computer in it as well as lots of desk space, though much of it was covered in books of various subjects. IN one corner was a peculiar-looking Starly sitting on a perch cleaning its feathers. Gwen went up to the computer and began to open a program before grabbing a handheld scanning device. “I have to use this to scan for electrical signals on your body. Could you place your Pokeballs on the table?” Quinn did as requested and Gwen moved the scanner along the front and back of Quinn’s body. To both their surprise, there was only one signal found within one of Quinn’s pockets. “Okay, good, now is when we need your Porygon.” Quinn nodded before releasing the Porygon as she spoke, “We could use your help, Porygon.”

The Pokemon came out of the Pokeball with a happy look on its face. It seemed pleased to be given a new task by someone that wasn’t Quinn’s parents. “Now, I need you to deactivate the device hidden in my pocket. I would do it myself, but I’d rather not ruin this outfit my sister made for me since it seems like the device is within the seams of these clothes.” The Porygon nodded before digitizing itself into the device where it did its job for a brief moment before hopping back out. Quinn looked at Gwen for a moment who nodded in response, knowing that meant to scan again for electrical signals coming from the pocket. As they had hoped, this time there were none. “Good job, Porygon. Thank you for your help.” Gwen looked at Quinn for a moment seemingly disgruntled by this response, “You know, Quinn, why don’t you reward the Porygon? Maybe you could give it a proper name now that you know that it means to help you on your journey!” “Hmmm, I hadn’t considered that, but I suppose that would be an appropriate reward. I had thought in the back of my head of what I would call this Porygon anyway. How about the name Apostrophe? It is not only the name of a character from a science fiction series I like but also used in literature to refer to speech directed at someone who isn’t physically present. It is surprisingly open-ended, but I can appreciate the freedom she has granted me.” “Oh? What is your first research project?” “I am supposed to submit data and information on a Pokemon I have evolved to a higher stage. None of my Pokemon are evolved yet, but I do plan to take extensive scientific measurements on their health and physiology in the near future to keep track of things.” “That is so like you, Quinn, but I am glad you are able to do this! You are free to stay here at the lab as long as you would like. Remember too, if you need anything, feel free to give me a call!” Gwen replied before giving Quinn a hug. Quinn smiled slightly before embracing the hug. “I will. Thank you again. Although, I feel I should be leaving soon. Besides my research, I would like to be able to express my freedom through my travels.” “Well, if you are planning to leave so soon, take this little guy,” Gwen said as she began to walk towards the Starly in the corner of the room. Once she reached the Pokemon, she patted it on the head before returning it to a Pokeball and walking back to Quinn. “I, unfortunately, don’t have a lot of time for the Pokemon with my research. His name is Zephyr and he has quite a personality. He’ll also be able to help contact me by flying to the lab should you ever get into trouble.” “I certainly would appreciate having Zephyr join me and the rest of my Pokemon, especially since you bring up many valid points as to why he should join us. Thank you, again.” Gwen gave Quinn one more hug before showing her out of the lab. As Quinn walked away from the lab, Gwen nearly stopped her to say that she at least wanted to have lunch with her, but she hesitated and felt the moment had passed. “I’m too busy anyway to have lunch this time. Next time, though!” She said to herself before going back inside the lab.

His pale cloudy eyes were focused down at the Cottonee and Cassio remained beside him as Copper held the leash attached to his working harness, giving Orion the opportunity to whimsically bounce around on the path they’d been wandering along. His fur shimmered and his eyes caught sight of a tall human coming down the path from a building in the near distance. As Quinn walked away from the Pokemon Lab, she thought it might be good to find a place to make some observations of her Pokemon. However, she didn’t walk far in search of a place such as a park in Sandgem Town before she spotted a small, glimmering pointy ball in the distance. At first, she couldn’t quite tell what it was but could tell it was moving. Behind it was a human form that was also somewhat hard to see. She peered through her triangular glasses that worked similar to binoculars to get a better look at the two and saw the small, pointy ball was actually a peculiarly colored Cleffa and behind the Pokemon appeared to be its trainer. The Cleffa was, in fact, waving at Quinn from a distance and had a large smile on its face. Quinn frowned slightly at the realization that this Pokemon was a Cleffa, especially one of a peculiar color. Not only was she still trying to uncover the mysteries of Stella, a seemingly normal Clefairy which Cleffa evolved into, but seeing a Cleffa of an abnormal color simply caused many more questions to jump into her head. Quinn decided it might be a good idea for her studies, though, to observe the Pokemon closer and continued to walk down the path that would lead to the mysterious creature and its trainer. Upon reaching within speaking distance, Quinn called out to the trainer, “Excuse me, sir, but would you mind if I took a closer look at your Cleffa? I have some questions I am trying to answer regarding this evolutionary line.” Once she had shouted, Cyan came out of his Pokeball and proceeded to walk in front of Quinn as a sort of bodyguard. Although Quinn didn’t feel she needed to be protected in this case, she was too concerned with making observations of the Cleffa that she did not address Cyan immediately.

”Right… How many different types of Pokemon are there again…? It feels like every time I try to learn this there’s a type I’ve never heard of before,” Copper sighed, he couldn’t recall that he’d ever encountered a dark type Pokemon or a fighting type Pokemon really… But how would he really know if he hadn’t since he wasn’t trying as hard before to really learn about these things before when he had traveled more? He sighed, he didn’t want to get discouraged, this starting over wasn’t about becoming overwhelmed, it was about taking things in a fresh perspective and wanting to make sure he could do this right.
At this point, Copper hadn’t quite noticed that Orion had strayed away, his focus was on Coda as the Cottonee flounced around on the grass around them, enjoying his time out in the sun, though Cassio started to peer around to see where the Cleffa had gone off to. Before either Cassio or Copper understood that he had just gone down the path from them a bit, Copper flinched at a voice shouting at him from down the way, a normal slightly louder talking volume for most to grab attention, but a slightly painful volume to his overly sensitive hearing.
”Please, please don’t shout,” Copper said first, not in scorn or anger, but in a genuine request. Some people were naturally loud, and if that were the case he did have to say so lest he wanted to get over stimulated by someone talking too loud. He’d only barely managed to understand that he’d been asked a question then though as he turned, facing in the general direction of the voice that had called out to him, asking about Orion? The area was too open and there wasn’t enough constant noise for him to get an idea of who was talking to him or where they were, but Cassio looked up from beside his trainer with sharp black eyes, keeping himself close to Copper in light of the Pokemon that this human had standing in front of them.
”Uhm, what? I mean… I guess? I don’t…” he stammered for a moment, trying to focus.
”I’ll do my best, but I’m gonna be honest, I don’t know what he is really except that he’s called a Cleffa and he is a fairy type Pokemon…,” Copper admitted, he wasn’t sure why this person needed or wanted to ask questions in the first place? To Quinn’s surprise, the boy reacted by covering his ears and asking her to not yell so loudly. It was at this moment that she looked up and actually observed the boy in more detail. She immediately recognized the glossy color of his eyes as being of someone who is blind. In her mind, she chided herself for not being observant of the bigger picture and fixating on the Cleffa at first, even if it was a fascinating Pokemon. Even more surprising to Quinn was the fact that the boy said he knew nothing of the Pokemon save for its species name and type, to which Quinn was displeased. “I must begin first by saying that I apologize for my loud voice earlier,” Quinn began, speaking quieter than a normal speaking voice once she approached the boy, “I failed to notice that you were blind and therefore most likely had heightened other sense, such as hearing. Now, about your Cleffa here, I could tell you a bit more about it, such as that it evolves two more times, once into Clefairy with enough friendship with its trainer, and again into Clefable using a moon stone. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of academic knowledge on the species as a whole. In fact, I am trying to study my own Clefairy in great detail to figure out how it has such mysterious powers and was hoping your unique Cleffa could shed some light on that.” Quinn paused momentarily as if to give time for an answer before suddenly realizing something, “Ah, I apologize again. I got fixated on your Cleffa and forgot to even introduce myself. My name is Quinn and next to me is my Croagunk named Cyan. He is also of a unique coloration similar to your Cleffa. I am also trying to learn more about his unique form. To whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to?”

Orion though was enthralled that the human he’d waved too was now speaking with them, and he still held a wide smile on his small face as he hopped to come closer to the conversation. Cassio though was less enthused, especially as the interaction started with Copper getting shouted at, it was unintentional enough, but still cause for him to be on alert. The job of a guide and service Pokemon never stopped after all.
Managing to still himself and his initial shock, Copper had turned fully to face where he assumed the individual was just based on where their voice had come from, and he eased a little at receiving an apology. It wasn’t uncommon for someone to take offense at him more or less telling them to be quiet or they’re too loud, so he was thankful that at least this person was reasonable.
”It’s okay, it’s not exactly the most obvious feature, I get it. Thanks for saying so though,” Copper accepted, he knew being blind wasn’t always the most obvious disability to identify, he didn’t utilize a walking stick and Cassio’s working vest could be for any kind of disability service. The focus though was quickly shifted back to Orion, and as Cassio was keeping a close eye on the two smaller Pokemon Copper wasn’t worried that he wasn’t outright aware of where the small Cleffa was. However, it seemed that his basic knowledge of Orion and what he was was far from what he would have needed to know in order to properly train him, as it was with most of his Pokemon regularly enough. Shocker.
”Oh, uhm, wow. I didn’t know that he would evolve… I guess I would have found out eventually though? Sorry, I don’t know if I can be of much help about him… He’s pretty sweet though, you can take a look at him if he’s okay with that,” Copper offered. It sounded like this person was some kind of scientist? Or part of some study? Academic knowledge and mysterious powers, it all sounded like stuff well above what Copper was capable of being able to assist with… But there was no harm in offering them to take a look at his Cleffa? After another moment though, they paused and introduced themselves. Quinn was pleased to see that Copper seemed to take kindly to her apology and introduction. He introduced himself and his Pokemon and agreed to let Quinn observe his Cleffa. However, she chided herself in her head once more when Copper seemed confused at the idea of his Cleffa and her Croagunk being unique for their coloration. “Of course he can’t see color, Quinn…” She thought. “Ah, I see how there may be confusion with that idea. Most Pokemon have a prototypical appearance that doesn’t change very much between Pokemon of the same stage within the same region. There are some exceptions, to that rule, but generally, most Pokemon have an identifiable appearance that can be recognized easily. That being said, sometimes, some Pokemon simply look different for any number of reasons. They could be regional variants of a species, which often comes with different typings, moves, and/or abilities. Or, as I believe is the case with my Croagunk, there could other reasons a Pokemon is simply born looking different that is not a widespread regional variant. Some people refer to these Pokemon as “shiny” forms, but they don’t typically have a shine to them. Part of the reason I pursue science so fervently is to discover reasons as to why these seemingly random anomalies work. They seem to typically be purely aesthetic, but that is not to mean that they aren’t beneficial or detrimental in some cases. I wish to learn more about these unique and rare forms of Pokemon. Ah, where are my manners, I seem to have talked your ear off. Cyan here knows how passionate I can be about science. Once I get going, I can go on forever about any number of subjects,” Quinn said, finally pausing her speech and looking at Cyan with a pleased look. She decided to wait to observe Copper’s Cleffa Orion until after letting Copper respond to the impromptu lecture she just gave. However, she still eagerly awaited getting a closer look at the Pokemon, which was waving at her enthusiastically to which she waved back with a slight smile on her face.

For all he knew, one Samurott could be blue, the next could be another color, the next could be another color entirely, and so on. Assuming his context clues were correct in trying to guess what a term like “prototypical” meant, already he felt like a school kid trying to talk to like their college aged sibling… But that in and of itself was a shock to him if he were being honest. All Pokemon were the same colors? And it just so happens that he has a “rare” color of Pokemon with Orion? He could have done without the lecture style explanation, but just when he felt like he was learning so much trying to prepare for his gym battle against Roark, trying his darndest to remember what rock type Pokemon were affected most by, he was certainly knocked down a couple of pegs for this he felt like…

How is someone supposed to know one from the other…” Copper questioned, he couldn’t imagine if someone lost their Pokemon, and in a forest full of that same Pokemon, trying to look for their specific one?  Minako "Skye" Waterflower The Future Champion Minako arrived at Sandgem Town and got off her Galiga as she walked into town. The girl and her pokemon seemed to walk onwards, and seemed to be intending to go hunting for Shinx. How fast they would get one who knows. Suddenly however, a shock came her way as she saw a little pokem one ating in the tall grass. It was a Shinx. She couldn't believe her luck! "Okay.. Let's catch it.. Aurora come back let's go, Merida!" tHE Alolan Vulpix replaced the Galiga, and stood across from the shinx. It was time for a battle. Soon, the shinx was caught. The Duo continues to move on in their quest to reach jubilife city and beat the gyms of sinnoh. Minako whistles a song lightly it's Within Temptation's Fire and ice. She held her Vulpix in her arms as she walked, her Galiga back out of its pokeball. Her eevee also was outside on her shoulder. It was time to keep travelling the area, and train up enough to take on the gym in orberge city. Battle Details!  A level 5 Shinx Appered! Go, Merida! Minako "Skye" Waterflower The Future Champion Minako and her Team continued to walk and see the sights heading out of sandgem town and toward jubilife city, as skye sang a bit-"I see god come in my garden.. but i don't know what he said!" Cemetaries of London by Coldplay was what the girl was singing as she walked. She had gotten ehr winter coutfit on at the pokemon center as the weather was getting colder. They could also recieve a Poketech there if they wanted so the trainer and her pokemon began to run toward the city. They soon entered, leaving the route behind them.  Minako "Skye" Waterflower The Future Top Coordnator Of All Regions Returning to Sandgem town, she settled down getting off her Galliga as she walked toward the pokemon lab. She took a seat on a bench nearby it, her Glameow jumping into ehr lap which she brushed out it's fur. Her eevee fell asleep beside her, while her Galliga seemed to be guarding her for all who would come toward her. Perhaps she could finally meet some other trainers or coordnators. Cooper had a rather confused and panicked look on his face as he tried to grasp the idea of Pokemon both looking all the same but different sometimes at the same time. Quinn hadn’t realized that this may have been a more difficult concept to explain to a blind person than initially anticipated. She attempted to calm him down with a simpler explanation, “I seem to have said something that is hard for you to understand, so I will try to explain it in a different way. For starters, while most Pokemon of a species look the same, there are many ways to tell them apart from others of their kind, such as with accessories, or their scent, or their personality. Beyond that, a good trainer is aware of their Pokemon’s unique differences from other Pokemon of their kind, even if the signs aren’t as obvious as being an entirely different color than other Pokemon of the species. I am sure that some Pokemon that are unfamiliar with humans feel we all look the same as each other, which we both know to be untrue. Does that explain things a bit better?” Quinn attempted to hide her condescension as the poor boy Cooper seemed more confused than anything else. But, it was hard to fathom that for someone with as interesting a Pokemon as he had (i.e. Orion the Cleffa), Cooper seemed to be rather unfamiliar with Pokemon as a whole. He looked around her age and should therefore have at least some experience with Pokemon. As such, she was shocked by his apparent ignorance. She waited patiently for him to respond to her reworded explanation.

Not everyone knew how to talk to or with someone who was blind, he was well aware of that, but this conversation sounded far above the normal grade of an average everyday conversation…
”This might come to a shock to you, but for all I know humans do all look the same except for height and general shape,” he mentioned to the assumption that they both knew it to be untrue that all humans could look the same.
”I’ll stick with what I know, since no one person sounds the same and every Pokemon sounds different from another,” he mentioned, he wasn’t trying to be rude at this point, but he definitely didn’t want to talk more about how his handicap made even the most simple of concepts completely foreign to him, like the colors of Pokemon, so he thought it best to switch the topic.
”You wanted to look at my Cleffa? Orion, is that okay,” Copper questioned then, and he glanced down to the general direction he last recalled Orion being in, but thus far the small fairy hadn’t moved much, and looked up at Quinn with a wide smile on his otherwise small face.
