We all know phrases like 'When pigs fly', 'Once in a blue moon', 'A snowball's chance in Tahiti', or more simply put, something that will never happen. We've also all heard the phrase 'Never say never', and that is a very appropriate phrase for how we are going to celebrate the Leap Year this year. February 29th is an anomaly, an oddity, something so rare that it only happens every four years. Now, you might be thinking rare as in a rare Pokemon, or even finding a shiny Pokemon, but what if we told you there was something even more rare than finding a shiny Mew?
Here in this event, we are going to ask that you name a favorite Pokemon (excluding legendaries) and a favorite type of yours below, or maybe even a random Pokemon and a random type, it's up to you, and from there, we're going to ask you to wait, and be patient, kind of like someone who has to wait for their birthday every four years if they were born on February 29th. Now, we aren't going to make you wait four years to find out what this event is really all about, but patience is a virtue, and the wait will be well worth it. This may not happen again in the next 4 years, so take advantage of this wonderfully odd and rare day while you can!

Huh, wow! I'm super curious about what y'all have planned, lol.
Anyhoo, my favorite Pokemon would probably be Absol, and I don't really have a favorite type, so I'll just randomly pick.....Fire!

I'm going to come in and take part in this event~
Let's see... I have too many favorite Pokemon, it's hard to pick, but I do like Lapras, and a favorite type is easy, Dragon is a favored type of mine.

There's only one hour until this odd little day is over, so that's how much longer until it's over... Just a little warning!
On to my selection! There's a Pokemon that's been on my mind recently, and it's one that Ridley's been needing, so The Pokemon I'm going to pick is Florges. As far as the type, I have far to many favorites, and far to many types that my characters train as. So How I'm picking is the fact that 3/5 of my character aren't all that nice, so I'm picking Dark Type!

With that, the Leap Year Event Rewards can no longer be claimed. Now we'll just have to wait and see what's in store for those who claimed from the event.

So I'd like to believe that it was well worth the wait! I knew we needed to come up with something special and rare for everyone that participated in this rare event, so Paradisity and I took to the wild to hunt down some of the coolest and rarest Pokemon we could find that fit one of the two categories we were given. Boy were we surprised when we came back with Pokemon that fix both! These Pokemon are one of a kind made specially for you! If you want anything changed on it, please let me know before your character catches it and I can edit it how ever you'd like! However, if taught another move, they will not be able to relearn these moves (Fire Blast, Dragon Rush, and Dark Pulse).
