Happy New Years Hidden Legends! Now begins the year 2017, and we are looking forward to another great year full of role playing and training Pokemon, as well as continuing to build our community with you! We are so glad to have you all with us to celebrate, and we hope to have great year full of new beginnings and new adventures. To celebrate with us, you can claim the following:
x1 Lv. 17 Generation 7 Pokemon of your choice
x1 Mega Stone or Z Crystal of your choice
x1 Flare
For Z Crystals and Z Moves:
Only a Z Crystal is necessary in order for a Pokemon to use a Z Move, a Z ring is not needed. A Z Crystal does count as your Pokemon's hold item. If it is not holding the Z Crystal, it cannot use the given Z move. A Pokemon must know one attack of a given type in order for it to be able to use a Z Move of a certain type. For example, if a Pidgey knows Wing Attack, which is a flying type attack, then it can utilize the Flying Type Z Move, but could not utilize the Psychic Type Z Move without knowing a Psychic Type attack out of it's four given attacks. You can only have one of each Z Crystal in your inventory, and one Z move can only be used once per battle. The damages for a Z move are affected by type effectiveness, so the total damage can be halved or multiplied, and the damages are done in tiers determined by the initial attack.
If a fire type attack does 5-45 base damage, like Ember, the fire type Z move will do 100 damage. If a fire type attack does 50-85 base damage, the fire type Z move will do 120 damage. And if a fire type attack does 90+ base damage, the fire type Z move will do 150 damage.
