Lance Event Summer 2010 Lance, the dragon tamer, had spent years trying to forge the pieces of a mythical blade together, said to be able to bend the very fabrics of time and space. It was said that this blade was just legend and lore, but the dragon tamer saw a better future when he didn't accept that, one where Pokemon were no longer slaves to their human masters, one where their human masters never existed. Lance intended on recreating the world without the humans who had scorned it so, the ones who couldn't merely watch from the sidelines but had to insert themselves in everything, the ones who had made the world submit to the ways of mankind. He'd spent a long and hard time trying to reforge the blades, the pieces having been separated and guarded for far too long by the legendaries chosen for the task. Mew, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, and Heatran were all guarding different pieces of the blade, but each was defeated and taken by Lance in his quest for power. With the pieces found, he forged them together with fires from Heatran and Stark Mountain, and then the final point to his long time mission was finally in his grasp. Lance made his way to Mt. Coronet and made the journey up to the Spear Pillar, where there with this blade originating from forces beyond human knowing, split the pillar in two, knowing what this would do. From the very fabrics of time, space, and reality, the three beasts emerged, outraged at this act against their place in this world, as if this human was playing God, and indeed he was as the blade seeped out a dark red magic, taking from Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina their orbs of power, and in that moment, Lance was as powerful as Arceus himself. The changes in the world were almost immediate, as the very reality of it all were changing with the sudden disturbance the very fragile balance. The Hoenn desert was being devoured by a lake, the water from the Lake of Rage had gone completely, and the world was left writhing as the natural order of things were beginning to tear apart. In Pewter City, the fossils that were kept carefully in the museum had become reanimated at this disturbance, their bones coming together to form their skeletal bodies, and began attacking anything that moved within the city. A number of trainers had been caught up in the mix and were doing their best to quell the monsters that had risen, and just as they might have thought it was over, a flood of incredibly strong water and ice type Pokemon began attacking in the fossils' wake, as if they were being controlled by a stronger force. Similar attacks were happening in Celedon and Cerulean City, where Celedon was being bombarded by ruthless rock and fighting type Pokemon, and Cerulean was being over run by merciless ghost and poison type Pokemon. Even more trainers from all over the region were coming together to try and fight off these attacks, trying to save the cities and the people who lived there, but it turned out that these attacks were coordinated, used as a distraction from an even bigger happening, as Fuschia, Vermillion, and Saffron City were completely engulfed in impenetrable force fields, rendering anything from entering or leaving. Having become sensitive to the nature of the world, and the chaos sweeping over their region, the three legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres came to the cities that were being attacked by the violent Pokemon, but became even further enraged when those forces retreated. Angry and disgruntled at what was happening, the birds began to attack, with Articuno in Celedon City, Zapdos in Pewter, and Molstres in Cerulean. The trainers spread over these three cities tried to calm the birds and quell their anger long enough for them to understand that they were not without help, and coming together in Celedon City, all of the trainers were finally able to put together what was going on in the world. Lance had in fact forged the blade together, and enlisted the help of Agatha, Lorelai, and Bruno who too shared in his ideals of a world meant to thrive without mankind's interference, and it was Agatha, Lorelai, and Bruno who had attacked Pewter, Cerulean, and Celedon with their respective speciality in types of Pokemon, helping Lance begin his new world order. The trainers were trying to think of their next course of action when they got word of something terrible that had happened in Fuschia City, and in a rush the trainers went to see what was the matter, and were met with nothing. Fuschia City was completely gone, nothing but a barren expanse of dirt and dust was left as if the city had never been there, as if it had never existed. The trainers found out that the same thing had happened to Vermillion and Saffron City, where Lugia, Ho-Oh, and the three birds of Kanto had all gone to try and stop the force fields from engulfing the cities, but it was to no avail. The trainers gathered on the shore where Fuschia City had once stood, trying to find their bearings, when a pair of incredibly strong Kingdra attacked them, no doubt belonging to Lance. After trying to fend off the dragons, against what might have been their better judgement, they knew the only way to find Lance was to follow the Kingdra, where they ended up on an uncharted island in the middle of the Kanto oceans far south west of Fuschia City. There on the shore where the trainers had gathered, they were prepared for the worst as a smoke screen covered them all, and then a furious bolt of lightning surely meant to kill them. They were ready to fight Lance with everything they had, but it turned out that Janine, Lt. Surge, and Sabrina had likewise ended up on this island, trying to take vengeance on their homes after having just barely escaped. It was now against their better judgement, but the Gym Leaders enlisted the help of the trainers who had gathered, each taking a small group to split up over the island and find either Lance, or any of the Elite Four members he had enlisted. A few of the trainers ended up meeting with Giovanni, the former leader of Team Rocket, who was trying to again do right by the world after failing in trying to capture Mewtwo and stop it from further destruction in his exploits as the leader of the organization. Lorelei, Agatha, and Bruno were on this island, trying to act as guards to stop anyone from getting to Lance who was on the summit of the island's mountain readying the almighty power of the blade, and they attacked the gym leaders and the groups of trainers they had brought with them in almost deadly battles. Giovanni and the few trainers he had with him had ended up at the summit of the mountain, confronted by two of Lance's Dragonair, and just barely being able to fend off the dragons, the separate groups of trainers and the gym leaders all made their way to the summit, ready to face Lance and everything he had. Lance had the full power of his dragons behind him, plus the power of the blade that was only growing stronger by the second. He attacked the trainers and their Pokemon with the blade, nearly killing some of their Pokemon, and sapping the energy of others and de-evolving them to their prior stages. The effects the blade was having were devastating, but the trainers managed to make Lance's last dragon fall, and he was only left with the blade. Excerpt- Posted Monday August 16, 2010 by Astral Rain: The trainers were left on the mountain summit suspended in the realm of time to try and fight this monster, the spirit that lived within this cursed blade, and though it was a difficult fight, each hit they managed to land gained them an ally in the fight. The battle was grueling, but by the end of it all, after so many Pokemon had been lost to the power of the monster, Mew, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, and Heatran had all come through time and space to aid in the fight they should have been able to prevent in the first place, putting a stop to this once and for all. The beast fell at the attacks from all the Pokemon there working side by side with these human trainers, and in one last ground breaking shutter, a light broke from the monster, and in a flash the mountain's summit was restored to the island, they were no longer trapped in the realm of time. All over the world the fabrics of time and space were being restored, the Hoenn desert no longer a lake, Fuschia, Vermillion, and Saffron City restored, and the three orbs of reality dispersed from the blade, being brought back to their respective owners. The world was aware of the happenings throughout the regions, knowing that the cities had disappeared and that strange things were happening in every corner of the world, but there were no reports filed for anything more than an unnatural disturbance. Lance and the three Elite Four members returned to their lives as if nothing had happened, and the world has since fallen back into it's natural order, but it is unknown whether or not the spirit still lingers in the broken remains of the blade. Engimatic Tower Halloween 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016 For years now trainers all over the world have been receiving strange invitations from a proclaimed tower master here and there, challenging them to thirteen trials that promise to challenge their integrity as a trainer and all of the work they have put in. This 'tower master' is actually Darkrai who has been targeting trainers throughout the regions in an attempt to liberate Pokemon from their humans by using the one thing that the human trainers can't ignore, a challenge. By accepting these invitations, the trainers and their Pokemon are brought to Darkrai's realm, an enigmatic realm completely made by his design. There he has created thirteen different environments that have become homes to the Pokemon that he has been successful in liberating. There the Pokemon become feral and territorial with the lack of human contact, and are liable to attack any human they see, effectively winning his challenge against many a trainer. Over the course of the times that Darkrai has made the invitations to his realm, there had been one instance where a set of trainers were able to defeat his own prized creation, a horrid monster drawn straight from the nightmares that Darkrai collected, and upon it's defeat, Darkrai was raged and needed to make a new creation in it's loss. He has trapped the trainer's Pokemon in lucid nightmares that caused them to revert back to their first stages of evolution, nearly killing them, but his counterpart Cresselia was bent on helping those trainers and their Pokemon that managed to make it out of his realm, setting things right. Most recently, Darkrai has changed some of the environments in his realm to be even more treacherous and more life threatening for the trainers that he will force through, but only time will tell how merciless Darkrai will get in order to continue to liberate the Pokemon from the humans he so despises. Missingno Event Summer 2011 Well into the very late hours of the night into the next day, Bill was working on one of his many computers one night alone in his home north of Cerulean City. He was attempting to work on some coding to work on the PC systems with the newest Pokedex updates he had received from Professor Oak, and upon stepping away to get another cup of coffee, he came back to a myriad of error messages that popped up onto his screen. He was already tired enough, but just the sight of the messages gave way to another sigh of exhaustion as he sat down to start working through the messages. Worst case scenario, anything that hadn't automatically backed up to his servers would have to be done over again tomorrow when he did get some sleep, working through each message that popped up and adjusting the code as needed. He had one last message he needed to over ride, but he stopped as in all his years he had never seen that particular message before: "Script cannot be run correctly. Variable cannot be resolved. Missing No. Error." As many times as he tried to exit out of the message or adjust any and all pieces of coding that he could think of, the message was persistent and would not go away. He tried typing in the command for shutting down his entire system if only for a moment, maybe it needed as much rest as he did, but the system continued to whir on, ignoring the command. He was getting rather frustrated at the system that was designed by his own hand, wondering why it could be acting up so much, and was getting ready to start unplugging it all together when the error message disappeared quite suddenly, leaving just his normal screen of coding in full view. Ready to work again, Bill brought his hands to his keyboard, when "Missing No. Error" suddenly inserted itself in the midst of his protocol, and right before his eyes lines at a time of his coding were being deleted right before his eyes. He tried to think if he was being hacked, but it was impossible with the personal fire walls he had designed himself, making every effort to ensure that his system was constantly secure. He moved to manually shut down the system when he saw lines of code spring up in place of what had been erased tenfold, being written right in front of him. Suddenly a wall of text filled his screen, scrolling down and being written faster than Bill's eyes could process, faster than any human would have been able to accomplish. It continued to scroll, writing itself rapidly and looking just like a bunch of garble to Bill. Bill was confused beyond belief, trying to figure out what was happening when the screen locked up, freezing altogether. He heard a low humming sound coming from his computer, there were no signs of overheating though, and it weren't as though there any speakers for the system, and the screen and text were still frozen as if nothing could happen. That's when Bill saw a light flicker in the corner of his home, a spark of light coming from his teleporter panel, moving across the floor and leaving singe marks on his wood floor. He stood up, daring to move towards it when a shower of orange sparks spouted from the panel in a fiery fountain. Bill tried to shield his eyes as the panel exploded into bright lights, and turning to face the computer screen again, he felt his blood run cold as he saw what he had only seen in a nightmare before. Black and white static had replaced the lines of code, shifting and flickering like a broken television set. Portions of the static had emerged to form a sort of backwards L that was a giant mess of distorted pixels and broken coding. The screen lit up brighter than normal and in that same moment, another fountain of sparks shot out from the teleporter panel, beginning to set fire to Bill's house. Bill had just managed to escape from his burning home, leaving the fire and smoke in his wake as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him in the early morning, running towards Cerulean City. Meanwhile, in a Rocket base in Kanto, Silver had learned that his attempt to hack into Bill's PC systems were almost successful, but at the same time trying to combat Bill's fire walls a third party had inserted itself into the attempt, and his scientists had only managed to track the location to Johto. His team did not have control of the PC systems, but neither did Bill, the entire system had shut down all over the world, not a single trainer had access to their PCs through the computers. But the lock up of the PC systems was not a safety protocol of Bill's fire wall, it turned out that there was a fourth party involved in the whole thing, the one party that actually did have control on the system currently, and the signal was tracked to Cerulean City in Kanto. A set of grunts were sent to the remains of Bill's home, burnt to the ground and left in nothing but black ashes as the fire had devoured everything. They were trying to find what was catching on to the signal they were receiving, the one that showed to have control over the PC system presently, when a garbled hiss caught their attention through a still hot stream of smoke. It sounded as though it had come through a speaker, a horribly mangled speaker, and in a flash of light one of the grunts was absorbed into a mess of pixels, leaving nothing where the grunt had stood. The remaining rockets had used an experimental black Pokeball to throw as their last defense against this creature, and made a successful capture when a trainer had found the ruins of Bill's home, disrupting their mission. They were to deliver the anomaly back to the base, but could not risk any witnesses, so they sent the anomaly through the Rocket PC system to take care of the trainer, but ended up losing and losing access to the anomaly that was now stuck in the computer systems because of the lack of access to the PCs. As Bill had made it into the city that night, leaving his burning house and all his belongings, the first stop he made was to the police station where he was trying to make sense of everything, beginning an official report with the police. At this time, it was becoming a state of emergency as the PC systems had shut down all over the world, and the trainer who had fought the Team Rocket grunts had showed up to the station as well, making their involvement known. Bill and the Cerulean City Police Department put out a call to all able bodied trainers who were willing to help the situation, and within hours that day a formidable group of trainers had gathered at the call. Bill called all the trainers to the front of the Cerulean Police Station where he was waiting for them for a sort of briefing on the situation. There Bill explained that during a hacking that was trying to take over the PC system, and while Bill was trying to combat it, there was yet another source that was trying to infiltrate the system, and all of those sources combined created a glitch in the system that was manifested out of the PC system, something that the officers had taken to calling Missingno, the missing number error. It wasn't a Pokemon, as far as Bill could explain, but it had a form of intelligence and was learning, and after having been captured and transferred through the Rocket PC system, it escaped and began making copies of itself that were appearing in different places in Kanto and Johto. The plan was, for all the gathered trainers, to track down these Missingno and capture them in special police force Pokeballs called Lockdown Balls in order to subdue the glitch as they tried to determine where the real one was. Bill gave each of the trainers a specially programmed Porygon of his own design that was updated with all of the latest data on Missingno that would be able to combat it if necessary, would allow communication with Bill via their Pokedexes, and could access the trainer's PC systems if necessary since they were capable of traveling through cyber space. The first confirmed location of one of the Missingno copies was in the Power Plant just east of Cerulean City, and with Blue in tow who was called to help, or in his eyes was there to 'make sure the trainers didn't screw up too badly', the trainers were sent to the Power Plant in order to begin their mission. The trainers all started to make their way east to the Power Plant any way they could, and soon enough the trainers had all gathered at the plant to start their assignment. They weren't quite sure where in the plant this glitch was supposed to be, but as far as they knew, they were supposed to search high and low for it and find any sign that they could in order to discern it's location. Blue started the search as he moved into the plant, and the trainers followed. Someone had quite obviously been at the plant prior to their visit since a lot of the machines were somehow active and working despite being covered in a thick layer of dust, which set the group off to know that they needed to be careful while moving through the computers. The trainers spent the next hour or so looking through the upper level of the plant, going through old rooms with more machines, what could have been the boss' room up a flight of stairs, moving through all of the rows and rows of computers until the computers started to crash one by one by a virus that had been sent through them. Nothing could be retrieved from them until a single piece of paper was printed out from a computer with a small memo, something about meetings and how a Murkrow guards a key with a password, but the trainers soon regrouped at the head of the plant where a large set of doors remained locked, and judging by the blueprints Blue had on his pokegear, that was precisely where they needed to go. By the time they had all gathered in one place, they were ambushed by a fleet of grunts who were still left in the Power Plant, unbeknownst to them to be part of the long line of distractions that was set up for them for the Rockets to make a clean get away. Fending off the grunts though seemed to be easy enough, but the guard wasn't over as the Murkrow they'd been looking for approached, and they'd almost had it when one of the trainers gave the bird the necessary password, but it's suspicions were set off as it sounded out a loud alarm, and two Houndoom came to attack them with the Murkrow in tow. The trainers had finally managed to rid themselves of the Houndoom and the Murkrow who relinquished the key to them in a sort of peace offering in exchange for not getting attacked again, fluttering off back into the rafters leaving the trainers to their own devices then. The trainers moved through the now opened door and down a set of stairs, moving under ground to the basement level of the Power Plant. The trainers moved to the end of the hallway where a single door stood in their way, and after pushing through it, they were greeted by four Team Rocket Admins, Petrel, Ariana, Proton, and Archer. Despite them knowing that the rest of their team was long gone with all the information and equipment they needed, they were still aiming and ready to take on the trainers to get rid of them all for good so they wouldn't continue to meddle in Rocket affairs, so a grueling battle ensued that was far more difficult than any of them could have bargained for since there was a security system installed in the enormous room with trap tiles that were trapping their Pokemon while the admins were attacking with theirs. The battle took a toll on all of them and their Pokemon, having to fight four fully trained Rocket Admins while trying to dodge the traps, but with all of their Pokemon combined and help from Blue and his Umbreon, and even Red who had showed up with his Pikachu to help, the admins were finally defeated, though they were quickly reminded that their mission there was still not over. They had come for the glitch, one of the ones that Bill said would be in the plant, and with a key that Petrel offered them since his job was done and their team was long gone with everything they needed, in hopes of having the glitch take a few of their lives in the process, Petrel was gone and the trainers were left with the decision to press forward. Taking just a moment to themselves to regroup after such a tough battle, making sure their Pokemon were alright and some reveling in the small victory they took, Bill came over their Pokegears to give them the latest update. Red had been traveling through Johto gathering all the data that he could on the Missingno for Bill as well as discerning the locations of the last few that there were, and thanks to this Bill was able to update their Porygon so that, with luck, there wouldn't be any fatalities in fighting the glitch. They could create a physical firewall as Bill put it to keep the Missingno from attacking anyone directly, but it was only a theoretical application since the Porygon had yet to actually combat against the glitch. Entering through the door, the trainers were faced with what could only be described as a living personification of a glitch. It was pixelated and shifted in the space it occupied as though they were looking at a giant screen. Numbers and other figures flashed across it's surface every now and again as it actually turned to face them, as if this thing could actually tell that they were there, and in reality, it could. The space around it was distorted as it moved, getting too close to some of the remaining computers within the room as they instantly crashed at just the close proximity to the anomaly, and as it flickered and moved through the space around it, it stopped before the trainers, like it was calculating its first move. It gave out a distorted sound that was something between a screech and a scream as the sound it gave off was actually a physical force. It was a wave the came from the glitch as it moved towards the trainers, and though the Porygon had taken up the shields that Bill programmed them for and the trainers were safe, their Pokemon were less so as all of their Pokemon had suffered some kind of effect from the screech like paralysis or burns, the effects just happening out of no where. That certainly set the tone for the battle, knowing now that this glitch was capable of so much more than any of them could have fathomed, and for a time, they weren't sure if they were ready for such a battle against something that shouldn't have existed at all. The glitch continued to attack as the Porygon kept up their protective fire walls, but the walls still did little to protect their Pokemon from getting attacked by the Missingno, however, after a few rounds of their Pokemon trying to weaken it, it gave out another screech as it's surface shuttered, the pixels and data freezing as though it were on a frozen computer screen. It threw up a protective wall around itself, but part of it shattered from the glitch's weakened state, and one of the trainers were able to throw their lockdown ball at it. Thanks to the modifications that Bill had made to the lockdown balls, the glitch was forced inside and it was captured as the ball locked tight, and much to their surprise, the battle was over. They had captured one glitch, but there were still more to detain as Bill's voice came over all of their devices again. They were to bring the lockdown ball with the Missingno in it back to Bill in Cerulean City for further examination, and there was a glitch located in Celedon City in the Game Corner, and another in the Goldenrod City Department Store. The trainers split up then between Kanto and Johto and made it to the locations that Bill had specified the next two Missingno copies to be in. They were able to find the glitches and subdue those too, locking them away in lockdown balls and sending them off to Bill via the Porygon they had for continued examination. At that point in time, Bill was able to pinpoint the location of the last glitch, the original copy had somehow made it to Mahogany Town in Johto. The trainers regrouped in Mahogany where they were approached by Morty who had been at the Pokemon center, and when he thought that they were all present, he told them where Bill was getting the signal from as they moved to the north of the town, coming to an old abandoned convenience store. When Morty came to the door and started trying to work the door open, there were muffled curses and rushed footsteps on the other side, but when they entered, there was no one inside, just a very thick layer of dust covering the empty shelves and cobwebs everywhere. Until they looked down, it looked as though no one had been on the inside in years, but within the dust there were fresh footprints that wove through the shelves until they came to a back room. Opening the door though, they were still surprised to see that the room was filled with nothing but old refrigerator units. After a bit of examination though by Morty's Haunter, the two found that the largest fridge had a false bottom in it, and after finding the switch, a latch opened, leading them downwards with a ladder that was just below it. Moving down the ladder, where they descended to none of them could have guessed. Beneath them seemed to be an entire structure that had gone undetected for who knows how long, but it was sure to have been full of activity and maintained constantly despite it's remote location. Polished white marble floors and shining white concrete walls greeted them as they gathered at the bottom of the ladder, an enormous hallway opening up in front of them. Lining the walls from floor to ceiling were very ornately carved and detailed Gyarados statues made out of a lighter stone, with red rubies embedded for their eyes. It looked as though they'd stepped into a museum, not like they had just found a secret hatch under a refrigerator in an abandoned convenience store, but their focus was quickly altered as one of them got too close to one of the Gyarados statues and a blaring alarm went off, and within seconds they were swarmed with a mass of Rocket Grunts, though they weren't normal looking grunts. They wore blue half masks that covered half of their faces, nothing like Team Rocket wore, but that aside, they each had a grunt they needed to take care of, and the battles were on. Defeating the grunts was easy enough, but looking down the hallway, there had to be at least twenty Gyarados statues that they could see, and if each one of them set an alarm, or even if only some of them set of an alarm, that called for a different group of grunts, there was no way they could handle all those grunts, let alone make it anywhere in an even remotely decent amount of time and try and take on the last glitch they were looking for. Morty's Haunter inspected the first statue before they set off further, trying to find a way to turn off it's alarm, but any wires were set so far into the stone that they couldn't reach them to cut them, and any outside intrusion was more than likely able to set off the alarm anyways. They were contemplating just trying to ward off all the grunts that came their way until one of the trainers suggested they use electricity. The electricity worked, frying the circuits in the statues before the alarms went off, but they didn't have time to waste in case the alarms had a fail safe. They raced through the hallway till they came to a large spiral staircase, and even then they were still running as they worked their way down, but they were met by two rockets who seemed to be superior in their rank with their uniforms and lack of masks, and they had to fight them off before they could continue. They fought, and with their combined Pokemon, the two admin didn't have a chance, but they conceded defeat and left the trainers to clean up their mess for them, knowing the glitch was still down the way in the laboratory Bill had pointed out for them. Exerpt- Posted Wednesday October 12, 2011 by Fleeting Fugue And so, coming to face the final glitch roaming free through the discarded laboratory, the trainers began to fight with everything they had left to try and subdue the monster. The trainers attacked with everything they had, trying to weaken the monster so they could capture it in one of their remaining lockdown balls, but just when they might have thought that it was over, bits of coding starting to fall from the glitch as it froze in it's place in the air, it was only merely deleting unwanted data as it shuttered before flickering to a new form, a much more physical form that resembled that of a ghost, and it almost cackled at them then as it threw up a wall, much like that of Bill's Porygon, and in a devastating attack of horrendous blue flame it attacked Morty's Haunter, but when the ghost went to return the attack, it did nothing. Their cumulative devices began to crackle and fizzle in and out of audio as Bill was trying to contact them, only catching bits and pieces of the frantic message he was trying to send. Something about his Porygon? That was all any one of them managed to get out of the message, but one by one they all released Bill's Porygon and the computers attacked, being able to get through the glitch's fire wall and do damage. Just as things seemed hopeless, the glitch freezing the room over little by little with it's new found power, their Porygon's collective attacks managed to break the glitch's power just long enough for them to throw one last lockdown ball, and with a distorted cry as the lights around them flickered and exploded, the final Missingno was captured. Despite there being too many variables for any one of them to consider the situation completely over, wanting to know what the Rockets wanted with these glitches in the first place, what they were planning with hacking the PCs, why they were so keen on abandoning the glitches at every turn despite their hard efforts to capture them, they all took the small victory as it was and chose to leave the rest of the examinations up to Bill who was thoroughly enthralled with studying the Missingno now. Missingno. Event Part 2 Winter 2013 Excerpt- Posted Friday December 21, 2012 by Elemental Paradisity: Excerpt- Posted Tuesday January 1, 2013 by Elemental Paradisity: Excerpt- Posted Thursday January 24, 2013 by Elemental Paradisity: With another call to aid, all Bill had to do was wait and he knew that those trainers who knew they could help would come, and within the next day a group had gathered at his call. Bill came out with a police officer and Pryce from the gym to give the official word on what was going on. Zapdos and Raikou had been spotted in the region when the blackouts started and if Bill could get data on their electrical readings to compare to the ones that had shut down the entire region, then he could find the source of the blackouts and fix it. The last confirmed location of the legendaries was at the very north edge of the Lake of Rage to the north of the town, and so the trainers started that way with Pryce in tow to begin their mission. Reaching the edge of the lake, Pryce split them up into groups to cover more ground, one group on the east side of the lake, one group on the west side of the lake, and one group going further west more towards the base of the Mt. Mortar range, and he was going to cover the lake itself with his Lapras. They would all continue to move north where they would meet at the edge there, if they hadn't already found something moving up that way. About an hour into their search, the trainers were ambushed on all sides by a group of Neo Rocket grunts who were the first line of defense against the trainers who were moving in on their mission. The trainers were able to move past the grunts after they were defeated one by one, but moving to the very northern edge of the lake, Emiri the trainers were attacked by a pair of Neo Rocket Admins, Carl and Sham, who were a distraction for the trainers while the Neo Rockets made their escape. It was a tough battle, but they made it through, and afterwards Bill was able to get into contact with the trainers with news that Zapdos and Raikou were confirmed to be in Mt. Mortar and Pryce had seen Team Rocket moving in and out of the mountain and had gone to investigate himself. The trainers made their way back to Mahogany Town in order to move to Mt. Mortar, making their way into the caverns that spanned for miles within. The trainers spent a few hours moving through the caves and caverns of the northern mountain range trying to find the inner corridors that Bill had referred to where he was getting the strongest electrical readings, and facing off with hoards of angry and territorial Pokemon no doubt due to Team Rocket invading their home, and narrowly escaping being buried in a cave in caused by all the battles to fend off the wild Pokemon, the trainers who had been split up among the mountain's caves finally all came back together. They came to an enormous corridor where Silver the head of Team Rocket was waiting for them, ready to do them in himself since his other exploits had failed, readying with his Gyarados to take them on so that his underlings could finish their work, but as the battle became heated, chaos started to ensue. One by one different computers and machines the Rockets had started crashing and exploding, throwing the whole facility into a state of hysterics and panic, and as the battle continued, all of the Pokemon, Silver's Feraligatr included were thrown from the battle, being thrust against the wall or floor. Ghetsis, the head of Team Plasma from Unova had come and was ready to cash in on what work Silver was trying to do, having been watching this whole time since the PC crash those short years ago. The walls of the cavern around them began to shutter and quake before Zapdos and Raikou burst through the rocky walls, having this whole time been trying to find the source of the blackouts for themselves to keep the region under control, but just as everything had fallen to a stand still, Ghetsis and Silver having a stare down of will to see who would come out on top, one of the largest machines in the facility burst into a shower of shrapnel and sparks, sending a shock wave that knocked out all the Pokemon in the area, the legendaries included. From the remnants of the machine, Missingno emerged, larger this time with a garbled screech. It hovered over the mess of computers and machines the Rockets had set out as the grunts from both Plasma and Rocket began to scramble for their lives where around them all of the computers were starting to turn into nothing but a mess of code and pixels, disappearing from where they stood, as if they were being erased. Missingno gave out another shrill screech upon finding Ghetsis and Silver in its midst. The waves from it's energy surged over the entire cavern, striking the trainers and sending them across the rocky floor and started to eat away at the steel beams that held the mountain up around them as it started fizzling into pixel and code. The trainers then fled in any way they could as the cavern was giving way, just narrowly escaping being buried. All Hallows Eve Ball Event 2014 This was suppose to be quite the special year. For years now, here at Pokemon Hidden Legends, we have been scouring the globe for anywhere to hold an All Hallows Eve Ball. We absolutely love Halloween and we wanted to cater to those who do as well! We had a lovely gentleman, or so we thought, step in and be the host to our Ball! Master Raphiel held Balls every year, and it had been an annual event, but he wanted to expand the festivities to the hole world. We were ecstatic. However, things did not pan out as we planned. He handed out the invitations, and invited hundreds of trainers, coordinators, rangers, and League leaders alike. As the final attendees appeared, including that of New Tork's Nurse Joy, Hoenn Gym Leader Brawly, Kanto Gym Leader Blue, Unova Gym Leader Elesa, and Kanto Elite Four member Lorelei. All seemed well as they began to mingle, and dance to the life band, but Master Raphiel seemed to be absent... A storm began to brew outside, though none of the party goers seemed to notice, especially as Master Raphiel made his entrance. It definitely was as grand as his mansion was, and he explained that he was planning on having a race. A family race called a 'Caucus Race' that tested a Pokemon's brains, speed, agility, strength, and creativity. Not only that, but there was going to be a costume Party! After teasing a very grand reward, Raphiel disappeared after asking that they select the best Pokemon they have for the race. Before they could get to far, the storm intensified, and nearly knocked the power out. Raphiel rushed back in, panicking, as he alerted them of the hurricane that formed and was baring down on them. They were forced to evacuate, but before they could reach the doors, the Doorman entered explaining the ships that were there to rescue them had all sank in the storm. They were all forced to ride out the storm, despite Lorelei's and Blue's protests. Raphiel tried to resume the party, and festivities, claiming that the mansion should hold up just fine, only to have the power go out. Only, the storm didn't knock it out. The lights were turned off. A group of people at the party began to storm the party goers, and even the host Raphiel, and began to steal all of the chosen Pokemon for the race, including Raphiel's Haunter. After a fight from the trainers, the lights came back on and the attackers were gone, as were their Pokemon. Raphiel began to divide up the trainers, dividing them all into groups of 5-7 into his Library, Attic, Kitchen, Garden, and Theater, while he and Nurse Joy, Brawly, Elesa, Blue, and Lorelei went to search the basement. As the groups began to search, They found that the five rooms they were split into were all dusty and decrepit as if they had been abandoned for decades. After a long search, they found themselves stormed once more by the groups hidden in the dark after the mansion was struck with lightning, exploding the attic, and knocking the power out in the entire mansion. The parties all came across parts of the staff that were all introduced in the ball room earlier. The Maid in the Library, Butler in the attic, Chief in the Kitchen, Gardener in the Garden, and Doorman in the Theater. After the parties either explained the situations, or attacked them on sight as some did, the staff turned out to be ghost Pokemon in disguise or possessing a body. The Maid turned into a Mismagius, Butler turned into a Gengar, Chief turned into a Dusknoir, Gardener turned into a Trevenant, and the Doorman turned into a Sableye. The staff attacked the groups and their Pokemon in every way they could, causing many injuries, and knocking out quite a few Pokemon in the process. The mismagius began to enchant the trainers giving them headaches and causing them to hallucinate, the Gengar ensnared the trainers in their shadows, slowly sucking the life force out of them. The chief began to attack the trainers with the souls she had collected over the years and devoured, forcing them to fight the trainers. The Trevenant caused the trees and vines to whip and swat at the trainers, knocking them around the best it could. While the Sableye was able to contort and stretch himself, and hurl heavy props at them. One by one, the trainers defeated the staff members, causing them to recoil in fear. Not of the trainers. but something invisible that attacked them all and force them all to fade away. The trainers were all forced back into the ballroom, one way or another. Falling down the air ducts, trap doors, and secret passages. Only to find that the ballroom was now just as rotten as the rest of the house they visited. The food they had eaten was moldy and rotten, the floors were caving in and the windows were broken, letting in the gale force winds from the Hurricane outside. Raphiel appeared once again.. only he wasn't the charming man we had trusted, or met. He was a twisted and disheveled man, and he introduced the new League members that had been forced to battle him in the basement and all lost. They were bloodied, falling apart, and....Evil. It would appear that Raphiel had killed and revived Elesa, Joy, Blue, Lorelei, and Brawly, and was forcing them to follow his command. However, they seemed to be happy to do so. But they weren't the only undead... Raphiel left the group to battle the undead League, only to find it wasn't their usual league teams... It was all of the missing Pokemon stolen from the trainers. All of which have been killed and revived it appeared. All of which were bloodied, and some skinned, evil, or burned alive. The sight alone forced some trainers to give up, or go into a psychotic break, while it enraged the rest. The battle was fierce, and trainers began to be desperate, as one trainer used thunder on the undead Nurse Joy, sending her flying into the wall behind them. The attack didn't phase the zombie any... only caused her to laugh, and retaliate with the Xerneas she was in possession of, attacking every trainer directly with psychic for revenge. Shortly after, another desperate trainer used an attack that destroyed the ball room, knocking out 37 ally Pokemon, not including the 2 enemy Pokemon. The battle was like no one had seen before... But like the ghosts, the zombies were soon defeated. The zombies contorted and screamed in pain as the staff did, as black smoke flew out of the open mouths of the league members, revealing they were possessed by ghost, not killed. And not by ghost Pokemon. The barely stable league members explained that Raphiel had hypnotized everyone as they were teleported to the island, and that they were under the spell of Raphiel's powerful Hypno and forced to battle. Blue revealed the way to the mausoleum, telling them Raphiel was waiting for them. The majority of the trainers stayed in the ball room being to traumatized by the battle, or too injured. While a select few marched on to take on Raphiel. They walked in on a scene of Raphiel punishing his ghostly staff, seemingly able to beat the ghost Pokemon, despite them being ghosts. After knocking out the Mismagius himself, he noticed the trainers. He laughed and engaged them in a battle, threatening to ad them all to his collection.. To which he revealed what that was... The coffins in the mausoleum began to shutter and open as real dead bodies began to emerge, and attack the trainers. Raphiel unleashed a beast that resided in the center coffin, a massive decomposing hand, that seemed to be much more powerful then any Pokemon there. A tough battle carried on, as many Pokemon were forced out of battle, while trainers began to find themselves in life threatening situations themselves, one even falling into the horde of undead. However, as the battle went on, it seemed the undead started to attack Raphiel and his staff. And once the trainers managed to take out the White Hand, the mob of Undead was able to over power Raphiel himself and his team. As they did the Mausoleum began to collapse from the intense battle, as Raphiel and the undead were pulled into the opening ground, though... He wasn't scared... He was laughing and warned the trainers that this was not the end. {Raphiel and his staff (Click Here)} Master RaphielThe Doorman "Mags" the Maid The Butler The Gardener The Chief All Excerpts from the event. They didn't seem to go down, but they seemed so rag-tag and undisciplined. She found it oh so amusing, however, they didn't seem to be as afraid as they should be. One girl even had the audacity to stand there and chit chat! The maid's eyes narrowed and began to chant again, and the pressure in everyone's heads began to increase, as least twice the amount of pressure, turning that heading into a searing migraine. The massive attacks continued through out the area, she was handing them alright when a Charizard slammed her fist into the Mismagius. Normally that would have gone straight through her, but that pesky Noctowl used forsight. The maid was sent backwards, into the bookcase behind her, and fell towards the ground. She began to hover off of the ground once more, havering ever so slightly, all of the attacks having drained her. She looked at them, and their hallucinations ended instantly, and the pounding ache in their heads began to slowly fade away. " You wretched kids... You are more foolish than I thought..." she told them, " At least I would have been merciful, I would have ended you quickly. " she added as a few books began to fling off the shelves. Each book that flew off the shelf was closer to the Maid, and continued to grow closer towards the maid, what ever it was was charging her. She began to move away from what ever was pulling them off. " No!" she shrieked. " They ruined everything, not me! Get kill them, Not me!" she continued flee back up against the wall, as shadows began to creep from the corners of the bookshelves and began to slowly eat away at her as she began to let out a shrill scream. All her screams came to a swift end as she disappeared completely within the shadows. As the trainers regrouped, and began to discuss the well being of each other, as well as the main issue of getting out. It would seem that the library was entirely sealed tightly shut. However, one trainer seemed to stray closer and closer to the one and only exit they had left. The bookcase the Mismagius faded against. The sound of creaking and shifting began to be heard in the distance, as the bookshelf that Jimmy was once standing in front of began to slowly swing open, as if it were on a hinge, which it was. It opened into a dimly lit passageway, which was almost silent once entered, blocking out the thunder crashes from out side. The walls were undecorated, and blank, as well as the floor was simple tile. If they walked down it, it would seem to have a few turns in it, and it lead to a dead end with a door. it still left the question of where the door lead to, and who opened the secret passage. The Trainers have Received: +50 exp split amongst the battlers x1 shiny Ghost or Dark type Pokemon of choice at level 5. {Garden Update (Click Here)} The Trevenant was holding strong as the barrage of attacks continued to blast his way, and he was handling it well, for now. The entirety of the group had all began to act the same. Silence, and commands. Even if he was taking quite a few hits, he knew he was winning in that matter of striking fear. He could tell from the sheer silence of it all they had to be scared. With how most were covered in his vines, making no motion to remove them from their persons, and being beaten by his branches.. it wasn't bravery... They were all just cowards. He was holding strong until one final flash cannon blasted him off the ground and into a statue. All of the attacks had begun to weaken his bark, and the flash cannon did the trick and blasted the front of the bark off of him, revealing what was left of Iradessa inside. The tree laid there, looking at the trainers, and did something they probably wouldn't expect. He laughed at them. " You would have been better off if you died like this girl." he told them, a smile still on his face. " You might have defeated me, but I'm not the one to be afraid of." he told them as the ground began to shake again. The ground shuttered and quaked once more, only it wasn't attacking the Pokemon, it was attacking the Trevenant. The earth began to shift around the Tree as she began to get sucked into it, and let out a few grunts of pain, as the sound of snapping wood could be heard, and it almost looked like he was getting sucked into the ground. Once swallowed up, the ground quickly reformed over the gardener, leaving the trainers to themselves, and the coffins, which in the second earthquake the corpses seemed to have opened and spilled out. As the group began to assess the damage they have all taken from the battle, it would seem that they were still trapped by the trees that were still wrapped around the area, as well as the gale force winds blowing above the tree lines. It all just looked like they were stuck there, when they were actually standing on their own way out, or rather in. The ground had begun to grow unstable from all of the water being forced onto the island, as well as the three earthquakes that shook the area, all three greatly damaging, and ruining the foundation of the grave yard. The pathway, that they entered the grave yard on, began to slowly shift and sink. With a loud cracking noise, the ground seemed to cave in on itself, opening a small little hole in the ground just big enough for a human to climb in. Upon inspection, it would appear that were was an underground passage leading from the mansion. The ground that spilled into the passageway seemed to completely block where ever the passage was going, but still seemed to lead back to the mansion. Once in side, the small hallway was dimly lit, but was holding up perfectly well considering the weather. The walls were rather blank, hinting that it was a passage for one of the servants that worked there. The walls and ceiling had begun to recently crack heavily from the three earthquakes that ripped through the area. The passage followed the same pathway they entered the garden in, only, it just left where they were ending up to question. The Trainers have Received: +50 exp split amongst the battlers x1 shiny Ghost or Dark type Pokemon of choice at level 5. {Attic Update (Click Here)} the Gengar was enjoying watching the humans start to feel the effects of his powers, as he continued to consume their life forces. He knew if he could just keep it going a minute more, he might be able to suck them all dry. The attacks continued, even with weakening all of the them, but the Gengar was sure he could pull it off. Two of them were still trying to appear strong through all of this. " You two are just so cute." he told the boy trying tot stand strong and threaten him, and the copper haired girl who was trying even harder. The Gengar let out a chuckle as he frowned his eyes and the feeling of the draining intensified. This continued through all of the attacks until a Shadow Ball was able to catch him right in the stomach. All of the attacks were able to greatly weaken the ghost, and the Shadow Ball was the last straw. He let out a cry as he was thrown across the room and slammed against the wooden wall. Instantly, the shadows and he stopped draining their life forces. The air began to instantly warm up as well. The Gengar began to try and get back up but it was clear that the once young man was done. The entire attic shuttered for a second as the Gengar swiftly looked around. " You don't know what you just did..." he said, his y tone missing. The wooden floors began to creek and moan greatly, and the Gengar seemed to panic. " No! I can still kill them! Wait!" he began to shout at the walls. " Give me another chance!" He yelled as the antique lights began to flicker on amongst the boxes. The Gengar frantically looked around, and his once smile was now grimacing as he began to try and swift charge the trainers, flying at them at a very alarming rate. "This is your fault!" he shouted, but something seemed to catch him and he was yanked backwards against the far wall. The ghost began to scream in fear and pain as he clawed at the floor trying to get away from the shadows that were slowly devouring him, and soon enough his screams began muffed... and then nothing. The group seemed to be relatively quiet in the light of what had recently happened. After the battle with the Gengar, the only clear way out of the attic was blocked by massive amounts of boxes, statues, and furniture that the Gengar blasted behind them at the start of the battle. It left the task of digging their way out. However.... As they might be checking themselves for injury, the cleared area they were standing on had sustained great damage to it's infrastructure. The old wooden floors were definitely not built to hold up in a battle like they had, and after all these years... It only made it worse. The old floors began to groan even louder under the weight of all of the trainers and Pokemon in the room. Soon, a foot or paw might break through the weakened wood. The trainers might only have a second to react as the floor began to snap out from under them, causing them all to fall through the floor boards. Though, what seemed like a hopeless drop to their deaths in the darkness, it ended fairly quickly as their falls were broken, ever so slightly, by the air ducts that weaved through the walls. As the trainers and Pokemon hit the air ducts, they all broke through the tops of it and began to slide down the inside of them. The air ducts seemed to be large, and wide enough for an average person to hold their arms out in each direction and only have their fingertips graze the sides of it. Unable to stop themselves, everyone sliding down it could only let it happen, and bang against the wall as it almost seemed to wind and zig-zag its way downward. Almost like terrifying metal slide. As they slid, and if they were able to listen to the rooms and the air vents as they zoomed past them, they would be able to hear hushed conversations of inaudible words, as well as screams. Leading to the question... Where were they going to end up? The Trainers have Received: +50 exp split amongst the battlers x1 shiny Ghost or Dark type Pokemon of choice at level 5. { Kitchen Update (Click Here)} With each and every attack, the Dusknoir began to slowly feel each and every one of the hits, each knocking more and more life out of her. She was recovering quickly, getting ready to attack, until one final Ice Beam was unleashed, sent the tired cook backwards and into the far wall. She hit the wall hard enough to dent it, and then fell to the floor exhausted. She let out a huff at the trainers, as the lights flickered once. " You don't get it." she began, breathlessly. " Your Pokemon are already gone." she said with a small smile. " You have no idea who you're dealing with." she told them, which was not only a threat... It was a warning as well. The lights flickered once again. The spirits that escaped the Dusknoir's stomach began to frenzy and panic all the more, only to start screaming as they were all forcefully drug back to the Dusknoir. The walls began to creek around them as the Cook began to swiftly look around, with what was almost fear in her eyes. " No... I didn't fail! Can still do this!" she yelled at what seemed like nothing. She began to breath heavy, and let out a scream of her own as her ghostly body started to shake violently. She almost started to look like she was beginning to fade and flicker out of sight. The slabs of meat began to swing as the lights began to flicker rapidly, and soon... Nothing... The Cook's screams ceased as the Dusknoir disappeared entirely. For good this time, leaving behind her split body, and the trainers to themselves. The room began to heat up as the meat began to cook, thanks to one of the trainer's Pokemon. However the door still seemed to be frozen shut. As they began to calm themselves and try to figure a way out, it might like like they would have to bust themselves out. The room continued to warm up, and the sound of ice cracking could be heard, as the ice caking the walls began to slowly melt, and some began to fall off the walls. Moments after the cracking started, a large chunk of ice broke off the wall at the far end of the room, just on the other side of the Dusknoir's split open 'disguise.' What was revealed was a door that would have gone unnoticed if the ice hadn't melted. The door seemed to be unlocked, and lead to another hallway. Much like the one they walked down to reach the Kitchen. The hallway was blank, and lit by florescent that would hum and flicker every so often. The hallway had a few turns as they walked down it, and lead to a door, leaving it to them if they wanted to go through it. The Trainers have Received: +50 exp split amongst the battlers x1 shiny Ghost or Dark type Pokemon of choice at level 5. {Theater Update (Click Here)} The Sableye was holding on, and still was able to have the upper hand, or at least appear so, until a flurry of ribbons began to coil around him and drain what was left of his energy. The old Sableye collapsed, but only for a second. With a large huff, he was able to stand himself back up, being forced to stabilize himself. He looked at them all, the gem eyes gleaming at them as one of them suddenly cracked. He listened at their poor attempts to threaten him or act like they even remotely knew what they were getting into. One laughed at him, and did her very best to try and mock him, while the other seemed to try and have a conversation. " For those three of you who actually care about your Pokemon," he began, glancing to the girl who actually thought giggling while her poor Pichu could be getting shredded to bits. Ignoring her words, seeing as she clearly did not understand what was really going on, clearly if any of their Pokemon can be captured and held, they are weaker then the mere human that took them, one can only imagine what could be done to them. especially to something so small and self-destructive as a pichu. As well as the other girl who thought talking over him would bring back her Squirtle, then he continued again. " I will give you a fair warning." he said, as his eye continued to crack and break, and the gem on his chest began to came process. " I don't have your pitiful Pokemon, and I don't believe you'll be seeing them again, at least alive. You see, I'm not the one you should be scared off." he told them. "You would have been better off letting me kill you." he told them, as the hands in the shadows began to grab and claw at the trainers again, this time the Pokemon as well. Suddenly the gems on the Sableye's face shattered out of him, as she grabbed onto his eyes and stumbled back wards, tripping over his old cane and falling backwards. As he hit the ground, the shadows seemed to abandon the trainers and Pokemon, and began to attack the Doorman, clawing and ripping at him aggressively. Soon, his body seemed to seep down into the shadows, vanishing, his eerie grin being the last to go. Soon after the door behind them suddenly fell off it's hinges again, allowing them back onto the stage. As a small bit of tension still seemed to be hanging in the air, while some trainers seemed to be rescuing the Pokemon. They began to research the stage for an exit, or what would seem like anything at all. However, their exit was beneath them the entire time. As they began to look, the sound of ropes sliding and being pulled on could be heard, but none of the pulleys seemed to be moving. The wooden stage floor began to creak for a second, a quick warning, before trapdoors all over the stage swung open and out from under all of the trainers and Pokemon. The trainers will fall into darkness, for about six feet, before landing on old, large, cushions that were covered in as much dust as the rest of the stage. After they got their bearings back in the darkness, they could see a red exit sign over a short doorway. Once in the passage, it seemed to be rather blank, and dusty. It was dimly lit as they walked down it, as it made a few turns until it seemed to dead end at another door. { Mansion Thread Descriptions: (click here)} { Ball Room (click here)}As the attendees appear, They will find themselves standing on an elegant cobble stone pathway. Behind them, the path continues out into the dark distance, surrounded by dense trees covered in dark mosses. The pathway continued as far as the eye can see in the darkness, but will eventually lead to the ocean. In front of the trainer is a completely different story. The stone pathway leads up to a stair way which climb up to large four story mansion. The walls of the mansion were an off white color, years of history weighing heavy on it's once bright white color. On these walls, Ivy have decided to make them it's come as it seems to have slowly grown up the sides over time, a few vines reaching up to the second floor. The windows were all lit up from the lights within, shining through the panes of the ornate glass designs. Standing at the top of the steps were four pillars, stretching all the way up the four stories, leading to three beautiful stone archways. In the center of these pillars lead to the large black double doors. Once you climb those few steps, a rather tall, and silent, doorman stands, watching each attendee climb the steps. As they reach the top of the stairs, and the Gastly that transported them gives the doorman the "Okay" and disappearing, the doorman will silently move over and pull the large doors open, and allow the persons to enter the mansion. Once in the front room, they will find themselves in a grand room, the smell of antique heavy in the air. The stone floor of the patio is now a large red ornate carpet, sitting on a hard wood floor that leads to two large grand stair cases that both wrap up over a hallway. Above the carpet hangs a large Victorian chandelier that easily lights up the large wooden room. The stair cases lead up into a hallway that over looks the front room, however if tried, all of the doors will be locked. The hallway that sits between the two stair cases is topped off with a large clock face, surrounded by a beautiful wooden frame, perfectly carved out that leads into wooden statues of elegant woman holding candelabras, this clock still chimes on the hour. Music and light seems to flow in from the room at the end of the hallway. The lights seem to grow noticeably darker down this hallway, but once at the end of the hallway, it opens up into a massive ballroom. The wooden floors end at the hallway and begin into white marble flooring. The antique smell has long since passed, and the air is now filled with the aroma of delicious food, everything from freshly cooked, and still steaming, Farfetch'd, all the way to sweets. All of these foods stretch across a large wooden table at the far left of the room, decorated by a white lacey table cloth. At the far end of the tables are drinks, and a red headed maid with wide eyes, and a happy looking butler with glassy eyes go around and refilling drinks, anything from punch, to water, to sodas. At the far wall, is a small stair way that leads up to a large lifted area against the wall, and it splits into two stairways that lead to hallways of their own. However, these two stairways are blocked off by the live band that play ballroom music. Every so often they will take a break and play modern music with wonderful beats to dance to, which all play out of large stereos sitting at the top of the two stairways, as well as the back corners of the ballroom, making sure the entirety of the ball room gets a healthy amount of music without it blaring. On the wall that the hallway emerges from holds a balcony that over looks the ball room, and stretched the full length of the wall, though there is no apparently way to get up to the balcony. The center of the ballroom is open, allowing for dancing, while a large beautiful crystal chandelier hangs over head, illuminating the entire room. Along the walls are a few chairs, and seats allowing those needing a rest, or wishing to chit chat may do so comfortably. Few guests have already arrived, notably New Tork's Nurse Joy, who can be found looking over the food's table, in an old fashioned 1920's dress and hat, which is in her signature pink and white color. As well as Lorelei can be found sitting off on the side of the room, cross legged, in a rather recognizable costume that all to matched her type of choice, dressed as Elsa from Frozen. Now, once in the ballroom, there are a few rules that are in place. -The NPCs (Nurse Joy, staff, etc.) can only be in one place, at one time, so please consider them when talking to them, please do not ambush them, they are here to have fun, just as you. Make sure they aren't already with someone. -Raphiel is allowing Pokemon out in his mansion, his tall ceiling allowing for most Pokemon, but he asks you to be generous about space. -Raphiel asks that you not wonder through his mansion, it is a rather large mansion, and would hate for you to get turned around. -Once you leave, The doorman will no longer allow you entry to this event. - Now, this is important, Upon entering the mansion, Please post in the Halloween Ball Interest Thread and please pick one Pokemon from your current party, and post the chosen Pokemon there. As promised, there will be prizes, and rewards, and pick this Pokemon to receive a special reward. Trust me when I say that Raphiel, as well as ourselves, have spared no expense in this reward. Now, if you leave before this reward is given out, you will not receive it. If you do not post in the interest thread, you will not receive the rewards. You may claim rewards for both characters if you have two. You may not get these rewards if you have not posted in the thread prior to giving out the reward, and once the rewards are given out, you may not change the Pokemon you have chosen, and once you have picked this Pokemon, you may not remove it from your active party. {Attic (click here)}As the trainers continue up the long spiraling staircase that they were sent on, the stairs are rather steep, and the wooden walls hug very close to the stairway, giving the trainers only an arm's reach to the point that the trainers would be forced to walk up the stair way in a single file line. The stairway tightly spirals upward until it comes to an abrupt stop at an old wooden door. The door seems stuck, but with a good push, the door will give way and slowly creak open. Once inside, the darkness of the stairway seems to bleed into the attic, while the cold air blasts outward, it would seem the attic might be a good thirty degrees colder. The attic is only lit by a small light bulb hanging from the ceiling thirty feet into the room, which flickers from time to time, and is barely strong enough to show a silhouette. Mean while, there is a round window sitting on the ceiling on a side wall which allows lightning to light up the room for a quick second, followed by a blaring thunder clap. Once in the attic, the old wood floor makes itself known, groaning with each and every step. The attic seems to span farther than it should, looking to be endless in the darkness. Within the attic, it is filled completely with boxes stacked on boxes stacked on boxes, all covered in dust, and all filled with antiques, books, or even decor. Along with these boxes is furniture covered in sheets, ranging any where from couches, beds, to full length mirrors, and even statues. Some may appear to have a human shape, and in the darkness they might even appear to move, but of course that's nonsense, right? There are almost clear paths between the boxes and furniture that span out though out the attic, splitting off in places and continuing off on their own, leaving plenty of places to hide, or to hide something. In the far distance, an old record player is running, playing old fashioned music on repeat quietly. As you're walking down a path way, you just might hear footsteps following you, but with no one there, that is, if you can see around you to tell. {Kitchen (click here)} While walking down the specified hallway, it is clear that guests usually aren't permitted through here. The walls are bare, and hold a large crack or two. There are no doors, nor are there any windows, just a straight hallway with tile floors. The hallway leads to a set of double doors that swing both inwards and outwards. After entering through these doors, those who step through are faced with a rather large room lit up by a few lights in a row along the ceiling, which all seem to flicker every so often. The walls are decorated by old tile that was once a bright blue, and clearly haven't been cleaned in a while. The room seems to further open up past the door way, continuing a bit farther to the left and the right. Sitting directly in the middle of the room is a table with four chairs, one laying on it's side, with a bit of food and some trays sitting on the old wooden table. A bit to the left and right of the table are rather symmetrical islands that hold ovens, boilers, and drawers. Both have an over hanging line of hooks that holds many pots, pans, utensils, and knives. Every so often, they might start to clank together, but that could just be the wind. The length of the back wall is covered in counter tops, and cupboards. The counter tops all seem to be covered in freshly used pans, and utensils, or at least covered in some sort of mess. The cupboards are stocked messily with questionable spices, and ingredients. On the left side of the room is a door that leads to the walk in pantry, which has quite a short ceiling, and stocked racks of food that reach the ceiling. It is a room that is about four shelves deep, and the light bulb seems to have burned out. On the wall behind the table sits an old wooden door with large iron deadbolts. If opened, one would see that just behind it is a old wooden stairs down into a darker room. There is a light within the room, but it is clear that the bulb is old and ready to go out. Once down in the room, whoever entered would find themselves in a wine cellar surrounded in wooden shelves. The shelves reach all the way to the ceiling, which is just barely tall enough to stand in. The racks on the right are stocked with large barrels of wine, while the right sides are stocked with bottles. The walls behind the shelves are stone walls that continue up into a rounded roof. The cellar continues back for about 30 feet, with a few more racks, the farther you go in the darker it gets. On the far right of the kitchen is a large white door that leads to a freezer, where the small round window into it is completely frozen over, and the door seems to be locked, or just broken, no matter how hard you pull the door won't open. Every once in a while, a sound might be heard from the inside, but it could just be your imagination. { Theater (click here)}The hallway leading to the theater is a dimly lit one. It is nothing but warm colors, deep red carpets, and dark wooden walls, as it leads downwards into the mansion. Along the walls are portraits of men and women dressed in clothes from the 1800s, all with blank expressions, where all of their eyes seem to follow those walking down the hallway. The hallway leads to a large door that opens up, not into a movie theater, but a small stage with about ten rows of old antique seats for the audience. The room is only lit by the stage lights, while the house lights are dimmed and almost completely off, however, the room is still illuminated, but just barely. The pathway downwards to the stage was downhill, a pathway between the seats. The seats are red, some with the upholstery torn and the stuffing or springs hanging out, where some are broken to the point where the seat was stuck open as if someone were sitting there, while others are perfectly fine. But all are covered in dust, all accept the front row, as if they were just used. The stage itself is standing about three feet off of the ground, and on each side of it is a stairway leading up onto it. The stage itself is about eighty feet across, and has a few items sitting on the stage. Center stage had a single fold out chair with a spot light directed on it, completely covered in dust. Behind it, stage left is a coat rack with coats and hats on it. Across the way is a table with a tray of plates, glass cups, and a single Pokeball sitting on it, covered in dust and all were empty. Backstage holds numerous props, tables and other furniture that could be used as props for some play. There are also many guide wires, and pulleys that move the lights, sand bags, and curtains back and forth, If you're not careful, one of the old sandbags just might fall, the rope being so old and deteriorated. On the right side of the back stage area is a door that leads to a large prop closet, holding even more items that could be used, anywhere from tables, wooden cut outs of people, and silverware within the closet. It continues in, filled completely, for about twenty feet, however, there is no light. On the far left wall is yet another door that could only be a costume closet, but it seems to be locked. Every now and then, one might see a shadow walking across the catwalk or grid over head, or maybe the sound of someone sitting down in the audience, but clearly they are the only ones there. { Library (click here)} As the trainers reach the Library, and open the door, they are met with a heavy hit of the scent of old paper, and mold. As they walk into the library, the room is rather dark with book shelves that stretch so high into the darkness, it almost looks as though they continue on forever. The shelves are made of old wood, and completely packed with books of all sorts. If you pick one, it could be the "History of Walrein," or even "How to resurrect Humans and Pokemon from the Dead." The library is lit enough to see where you're going, and about eight shelves high, but no further, aside from the lightning flashes that seem to be able to illuminate the massive library. The shelves begin to create pathways, that all lead to many forks, dead ends; some circle around back to where you once were, and some even lead to stairways that lead to an entire new floor, from a bird's eye few, the library would look like a large labyrinth. The shelves are as dusty as they are old, where some bookcases are completely covered in cobwebs, and even some pathways seem to be laced shut by cobwebs and Ariados webs. However there seem to be no living spiders inhabiting the webs, all of which seem to be completely invisible until you are face to face with the webs. Every so often, amidst the loud booming of the thunder outside, there might be footsteps being heard following a pathway, yet no one is there, or a book or two might fall off a shelf and slam hard against the floor in the distance. { Garden (click here)}Once stepping out of the back door of the green house, everyone that had been given this place to search might realize that they have drawn the short end of the stick. Unlike how Raphiel had told them, there was almost nothing to block out the torrential down pour or wind, which luckily wasn't hurricane force winds or rain yet. It must have blown away... However, after stepping outside, it isn't ground they are walking on, luckily it is a cobblestone path just like the front of the mansion. The cobblestone path leads down into a fork in the path, all splitting into different plant types. One path leads off into a flower bed of all types of roses, daisies, and tulips. Some growing unusually big, while the others seem to be dead and completely withered away. The middle, leads to a path lined with all types of cacti, bushes, and shrubs. Some of the cactus, branches and leaves seem to jet out into the path way, and if you don't pay attention you might have a tragic accident. The last path seems to be all fruits, vegetables, and berries. The plants seem to be flourishing, almost to the point that some of the vines seem to be growing out of the beds they grew in. If you aren't careful, they might be able to ensnare feet. All paths are close enough to each other, that if they were to peer over the beds, they would be able to see each over a little ways apart, if the plant life aren't growing too high. All three pathways seem to have various bird baths, life sized statues, busts and various other dressings. It might just be your imagination, but out of the corner of your eye it might seem that the statues are actually moving, following or changing position, but if you look, they are just still statues. { Mausoleum (click here)} When the trainers decide to travel down into the trap door, and down the small flight of stairs, they are lead to a long passage made completely of stone. The blasting winds, and wet air began to disappear behind him as they continued into the passage. The stone was cut and smooth, however it appeared to have been worn away by time. Water had began to drip from the roof of the tunnel from the hurricane above in a few places. The tunnel began to thin out, and get smaller and shorter as they walked until it was about six or seven feet tall, and about three feet across, as the light began to dim to almost nothing. The passage seemed to end abruptly at an oddly shaped doorway. The door was shaped normally towards the bottom of it, but as it got near the top, the sides turned inwards creating an elongated hexagon-like shape. Upon opening the door, it leads to a massive stone room. Once entering the room, the odd shape of the door was made clear. It was a lid to a coffin. Once in the large room it was clear that they were in a mausoleum. The trainers would find themselves standing on a very large opening paved in the same stone as the passage which continued up the walls to the shockingly tall ceiling that seems to catch echos that continue for a few seconds at a time. The area the trainers were standing in was large and rounded, all lit by torches on the wall which seemed to do a good job at lighting the large room. On each side, along the walls, were a very thin pathway that both lead to the stairway upwards and out of the mausoleum on the complete far end of the room, but if tried, they would find it locked. Along the walls were half circles cut into them, there coffins were slid into each and every one for their final resting place. The large area where the trainers could stand comes to an end at a drop off. On each side just where the pathway leading out starts, another stairway leads down into the drop off, to more graves and tombs, all of which have been flooded because of the hurricane. In the middle of the area is a bridge that travels over the lower grave area and to a center platform with a single black coffin sitting in the middle. However, it would seem there were no way to it, the bridge is completely gated off. Raphiel was no where to be seen. The Hau'oli City Festival! 2018 "Good day! This is Carrie Sunita, your number one news reporter on the PNN here to say... Alola! That's right, you heard it here first, our neighbors and friends from the beautiful southern oceans are here to say Alola to the whole world as they have made a very important announcement! Thus far, the Alola region has been known and renowned for its tradition and values, but it seems that tradition is becoming something new and welcoming for the region as a whole. Over the last few years Alola has been working on their structure for their young budding trainers that travel their islands and enrich their cultures, but no longer is it going to be known as the island challenge for the local islanders. For the first time in Alola's history, they have been officially inducted into the International Pokemon League, and have officially announced the opening of their league to the world! Trainers all over the world are welcome now to participate, come see what Alola has to offer, and test their mettle against a new challenge that is sure to wow the world! This is such an incredible development for Alola as a region to be recognized now in the official Pokemon League, we are also here with the PNN to cover the Kaua'i Mokihana Festival, one of the biggest traditions that Alola has to offer as part of its rich and fruitful culture. Alola holds this annual festival in Hau'oli City, the biggest city in the region, and they are now welcoming the whole world to be a part of their culture! Everyone in the world is welcome to come and participate in the festival, Alola is the island's greeting for saying hello after all! There are more updates to come, so stay tuned. This is Carrie Sunita, saying Alola!" Guzma and Plumeria, observing from a hilltop, were disgusted by the Kaua'i Mokihana Festival turned global spectacle below. Determined to reclaim their turf, Guzma's Team Skull grunts disrupted the festivities, causing chaos and panic among tourists and trainers alike. Vandalism and Pokémon battles ensued until a legendary Tapu Koko appeared, followed by three mysterious, destructive creatures known as Nihilego. The city of Hau'Oli lay in ruins as the creatures wreaked havoc, only to vanish through an Ultra Wormhole as quickly as they had arrived. Professor Burnet and her team arrived too late to prevent the chaos but explained the situation: the creatures were Ultra Beasts from another dimension. She urged trainers to capture them using specialized Poké Balls, directing them to potential rift sites on other islands. With gratitude and urgency, she left the trainers to prepare for the ongoing challenge of protecting Alola from further dimensional threats. The once tranquil jungle of Alola lay in ruins, its ancient trees shattered and the delicate ecosystem threatened by the arrival of formidable Ultra Beasts known as Buzzwole. These colossal creatures, with vibrant red bodies and immense strength, wreaked havoc by smashing trees and attacking anyone in their path. Trainers managed to temporarily contain the Buzzwole using specialized devices from the Dimensional Research Laboratory. Shortly after, a team from the Aether Foundation arrived to assist, led by Mason, who emphasized the importance of preserving Alola's unique ecosystems. As they gathered data, urgent news of another dimensional rift on Poni Island prompted their swift departure, leaving behind technicians to gather crucial information from the devastated jungle. Malie City, typically bustling with life, fell eerily silent as the Dimensional Research Lab evacuated residents in anticipation of an impending event. Suddenly, a strange pulse of energy shook the city, opening an Ultra Wormhole from which an Ultra Beast known as Stakataka emerged. This creature, resembling a towering structure of bricks with piercing red eyes, hid among the city's buildings, perceiving humans and Pokémon as threats. It trapped the trainers and their Pokémon in makeshift cells and began its assault. After a fierce battle, the Ultra Beasts were subdued using technology from the Dimensional Research Lab, preventing further destruction. The Aether Foundation arrived to assess the damage, led by Phoebe, who commended the trainers for containing the situation. She identified the attackers as Stakataka, emphasizing the Foundation's commitment to conservation and thanking the trainers for their swift action. With preparations underway for potential incidents on Poni Island, Phoebe and her team departed, leaving behind technicians to continue their research and assist in Malie City's recovery. The Poni Plains on the eastern side of Poni Island, known for its serene environment and diverse Pokémon population, fell into chaos following a devastating event. Professor Burnet's call for aid drew responders to scenes of uprooted trees, scorched earth, and distressed Pokémon. The once lush landscape was now marred by destruction, with Pokémon from nearby canyons adding to the turmoil. As Aether Foundation agents attempted to assess the situation, they found themselves surrounded and attacked by enraged Pokémon, mistaking them for intruders or threats. Injured and overwhelmed, the agents recounted a powerful force moving towards the island's canyons, urging trainers to retreat from the monstrous entity they faced. The trainers, leaving behind the injured Aether Foundation agents despite their warnings, ventured to the edge where the lush Poni Plains met the rugged Poni Canyon. They encountered two terrifying Ultra Beasts wreaking havoc: a green, rocket-like creature and a massive black beast with pincers and spikes. Just as hope seemed lost, a Togekiss ridden by a blonde woman intervened, subduing the green Ultra Beast. Hapu, the Island Kahuna of Poni Island, and Mina, the Trail Captain, appeared with their Pokémon to contain the black Ultra Beast using earth manipulation. They thanked the trainers for their bravery and directed them to rest at Seafolk Village while the Aether Foundation handled the aftermath. Amidst the calm that followed, the tranquility was shattered by the resurgence of the Ultra Beasts, prompting another intense battle. The beasts were eventually drawn back into dimensional rifts, leaving behind a shattered landscape and a relieved but determined group of defenders. Professor Burnet arrived to coordinate rescue efforts, expressing gratitude to the trainers for their pivotal role in confronting the unprecedented dimensional threats and vowing to enhance their preparedness for future incidents. {Summary (Click Here)}
Hau'Oli City Standing on the edge of the city on a lofty hill, Guzma and Plumeria overlooked the festivities below. The Kaua'i Mokihana Festival, now a worldwide spectacle, drew in trainers and wealthy tourists eager to experience the "new and improved" Grand Trials. Disgusted by the scene, Guzma sneered at the rides, music, and dances. Determined to reclaim his turf, he rallied his grunts, instructing them to disrupt the festival and drive away the tourists. As cheers erupted from his followers, Plumeria cautioned them to cause chaos without getting caught or injured. Moments later, shouts and cries filled the air as people fled the festival in panic. Fireballs and various attacks lit up the sky as the grunts invaded, targeting tourists and trainers, performing their signature gang gestures. From their vantage point, Guzma and Plumeria watched with satisfaction as chaos unfolded below.
The festival along the city streets descended into chaos as Team Skull, under Guzma's orders, wreaked havoc. The grunts tore down decorations, flipped tables, looted vendors, and terrorized locals and tourists alike. Vandalism and Pokémon battles ravaged the city, with Skull grunts challenging trainers and leaving no stone unturned in their mission to disrupt the worldwide festival. Panic spread as people fled, seeking refuge in buildings trying to close their doors. Guzma, watching proudly, was interrupted by a blinding light and a thunderous explosion that shook the city. Screams and panic intensified as a legendary Tapu Koko appeared, brimming with electric power and clearly enraged. A battle ensued between Tapu Koko and a strange, gelatinous creature with tentacle-like appendages and an opaque body. The creature produced shimmering gems that struck Tapu Koko, causing more screams and chaos below. As Tapu Koko rushed at the creature, a gaping rift appeared in the sky, distorting time and space, and three more of the abnormal creatures emerged. These towering beings, over eight feet tall, began attacking the city, smashing buildings and knocking over trees, further escalating the pandemonium. The city was left in a state of hysteria as the creatures continued their destructive rampage.
The once lively beachside of Hau'Oli City lay in ruins, ravaged first by Team Skull's attempt to sabotage the festivities and then by the three mysterious creatures that descended upon the city. Cars were overturned, festival tents and tables destroyed, and palm trees lay across sidewalks. Smoke from electrical fires billowed as buildings crumbled. The south side of the city was littered with debris, the chaotic actions of the creatures leaving a trail of destruction. These creatures, communicating in an incomprehensible manner, huddled together amidst the wreckage, their gelatinous bodies displaying signs of anger, frustration, and fear. They lashed out at anyone who approached, secreting toxins in their distressed state. Suddenly, a familiar pulse filled the air, and another rift opened in the sky. The creatures fled through it, disappearing as quickly as they had come, leaving the city in a quiet, eerie ruin. As the dust settled, trainers and Pokémon took stock of the situation. The mystery behind the devastation remained unsolved. Amidst the wreckage, a team of scientists led by Professor Burnet arrived, examining the area with sensors and scanners. Professor Burnet apologized for their delayed arrival, explaining that Team Skull had hindered them. She introduced herself and expressed gratitude for the trainers' bravery. She revealed that the creatures were Ultra Beasts from another dimension, specifically a species known as Nihilego, and explained the concept of Ultra Wormholes connecting their world to Alola. Professor Burnet explained the urgent need for help in containing these Ultra Beasts, offering special Poké Balls designed for this purpose. She urged the trainers to assist in capturing and returning the Ultra Beasts to their dimension. With limited time and resources, Burnet directed them to potential new rift sites on Akala and Ula'Ula islands. Thanking the trainers for their efforts, she and her team departed to prepare for the next emergent events, leaving the trainers to brace for the challenges ahead.
Lush Jungle The jungle, once a tranquil haven, lay in disarray, its ancient trees shattered and scattered across the ground. The canopy, now punctured, allowed harsh sunlight to scorch the undergrowth, threatening the delicate ecosystem with further devastation. The source of this destruction was a brutish Ultra Beast, towering over the trainers who had managed to escape the falling trees. This creature, unlike any they had faced on Melemele Island, stood on four thick legs, its vibrant red body pulsing with translucent liquid. Faceless and eyeless, it possessed a long, sharp proboscis, massive arms, and orange wings. It buzzed angrily, clearly responsible for the havoc. As the trainers regrouped, another of the same species emerged, knocking down trees in its path. The first Buzzwole landed with a heavy thud, flexing its wings and arms, growing more agitated. It raised its great arms in a rage, while the second creature charged through the trainers and Pokémon, its fist crackling with electricity. The first Buzzwole picked up a tree trunk, swinging it like a colossal bat, smashing anything in its path. Communicating in a way only they understood, the two creatures coordinated their attacks, relentlessly targeting the trainers and laying waste to the jungle with every move. The trainers and their Pokémon faced a dire battle against these formidable foes, each swing and stomp threatening to further obliterate the environment around them.
The once serene jungle of Alola now bore a massive tear in its dense canopy, a testament to the destruction caused by the emerging Ultra Beasts. Hundreds of square feet of splintered trees, crushed bushes, and trampled flowers marred the landscape, with harsh sunlight now penetrating the canopy and threatening to kill the remaining flora. The ecosystem, which had taken decades to flourish, would require just as long to recover, its delicate balance irrevocably altered. However, the destruction was halted by the trainers who managed to contain the two Buzzwole with devices developed by the Dimensional Research Laboratory, bringing a temporary peace to the jungle. Shortly after, a group dressed in white uniforms with gold accents arrived, armed with scanners and technology different from those used in Hau'Oli City. Led by Mason, a young man with a professional demeanor, they represented the Aether Foundation, a conservation and preservation organization. Mason expressed gratitude on behalf of both the Dimensional Research Laboratory and the Aether Foundation, explaining the importance of maintaining Alola’s unique ecosystems. He detailed the nature of the Buzzwole species, their incredible strength, and the effectiveness of the Beast Balls in containing them. As Mason's team began to gather data and samples, urgent news arrived about another imminent rift on Poni Island. Thanking the trainers once more, Mason departed with most of his team, leaving behind a few technicians who requested further assistance in gathering data from the ravaged jungle, emphasizing the invaluable nature of any information regarding these anomalies.
Malie City Malie City, usually vibrant with tourists and locals enjoying its rich eastern culture, was eerily quiet. The Dimensional Research Lab had orchestrated an evacuation in anticipation of an event they were monitoring. The streets, typically bustling with activity, were now empty, creating an unsettling atmosphere. Despite the city's pristine condition—streetlights perfectly aligned, spotless sidewalks, and aesthetically pleasing buildings with soft neutral color palettes—something felt off. The cityscape, with its textured light gray stone and ornate shapes, seemed almost too perfect. Suddenly, a pulse of strange energy washed over the city, similar to what had been felt in Hau'Oli City. A gaping hole opened in the sky, emitting a booming noise, and something fell through, crashing into a nearby street. The ground trembled as the Ultra Wormhole closed, leaving whatever had fallen trapped in the city. Trainers rushed to the next street, finding it just as deserted, with only a pile of rubble and a deep indentation marking the beast's landing. The unsettling feeling of being watched permeated the air as the trainers cautiously navigated the lifeless, quaint city streets, ready to face the unknown challenge ahead.
As the two trainers congregated around the crater, trying to locate the beast, they remained unaware they were already surrounded. Unlike the previous street, this one lacked alleyways, with black walls seamlessly blending into the dark shop exteriors. Red eyes appeared within these walls, tracking the humans and Pokémon, only to vanish when gazed upon. On the opposite side, eyes emerged along the shop walls. The Ultra Beast, having fallen through the Ultra Wormhole, had panicked and hidden itself among the buildings. This Stakataka, along with another that had arrived earlier, intended to survive in this strange world. The beast's numerous bricks, each capable of watching the intruders, observed the humans and Pokémon. Perceiving them as hostile, the Stakataka decided to neutralize the threat. A booming rumble echoed as the beasts cried out and began their attack. The walls around the trainers and Pokémon shifted, forming a prison cell around them, each cell tailored to the size of its occupant. Red eyes glared from within the bricks, ready to attack if threatened. Only a Jynx and a Salamence remained free. Before them, two towering structures formed, each resembling a building-sized beast. One tower lifted off the ground defensively, while the other groaned and advanced, slamming a massive leg into the street. The impact caused the ground to rift, sending jagged rocks toward the Salamence. The scene was tense, with the foreign beasts demonstrating their formidable presence and intent to dominate their perceived adversaries.
As the dust settled in Malie City, the catastrophic impact was evident. The once lively streets were now scenes of ruin, with benches and light poles ripped from the ground, shattered windows, and water lines flooding the area. Decades-old buildings were partially destroyed, but thanks to the trainers' efforts, the city's heart remained intact. The Ultra Beasts were contained by devices from the Dimensional Research Laboratory, preventing further damage.A group from the Aether Foundation, dressed in white uniforms with gold accents, arrived to assess the damage. They meticulously examined the scene, studying the destruction patterns. Phoebe, a representative of the foundation, expressed gratitude to the trainers for their efforts. Despite the significant damage, she acknowledged their quick response and containment of the Ultra Beasts. Phoebe explained that the attackers were a species of Ultra Beast known as Stakataka. She highlighted the importance of the conservation efforts by the Aether Foundation and expressed relief at the effective containment technology developed by the Dimensional Research Laboratory. With more anomalies expected, particularly on Poni Island, Phoebe and her team prepared to depart, urging the trainers to assist in the city's recovery efforts. As they left, the foundation's technicians collected the active Beast Balls to continue their research and containment mission.
Poni Plains On the eastern side of Poni Island lies the Poni Plains, a unique environment in the Alola Region, known for its diverse ecosystems and the variety of Pokémon that inhabit it. Despite the natural harmony, the arrival of forces responding to Professor Burnet's call revealed a disturbing scene. Trees were uprooted, leaving gaping holes, and scorch marks marred the once peaceful plains. The destruction had already passed through, leaving the resident Pokémon distressed and agitated. Pokémon typically found in the canyons to the west were also rampaging, adding to the chaos. The path of destruction seemed to move like a wave, perhaps heading towards the island's famous canyons.
The destruction stretched across the entire eastern side of Poni Island, leaving a once lush landscape of green grasses and old trees in ruin. Pokémon, mirroring their shattered environment, moved with rage and disarray, upset by the severe disturbance to their long undisturbed home. The cause of this devastation was unclear, but the path of destruction led towards the island's famous canyons. At the plains' edge, where greenery gave way to rocky terrain, sounds of distress filled the air. Aether Foundation agents were cornered by hordes of furious Pokémon, mistaken as the threat to their land or simply too enraged to stand down. The Pokémon, focused on their perceived targets, turned their aggression towards any trainer who approached, ready to defend their home against any intruder.
As the hordes of Pokémon dispersed, the trainers were left with a group of disheveled Aether Foundation agents. The agents, marked by dark wounds, scars, bruises, and other injuries, remained on the ground, too pained or preoccupied with their Pokémon to move. Those attempting to stand were limping or collapsing from their injuries. One young man, holding his chest and favoring a limp arm, thanked the trainers hoarsely, while a Machoke sat battered beside him. Another woman, her hair tangled and muddy, mentioned their broken communicators and doubted their team's timely arrival. A third agent, his tone distant and eyes unfocused, spoke of the powerful force that moved into the canyons, causing their losses. The first young man, leaning against a fallen tree for support, urged the trainers to retreat, warning of the monstrous entity they had faced.
Vast Poni Canyon As the trainers moved forward to the edge where the lush plains met the sprawling canyons, they left behind the battered Aether Foundation agents. Despite their warnings, the agents, severely injured and fearful, attempted to gather their strength and find a way off Poni Island. The path of destruction led to the canyons, where the landscape changed from green grass to dusty rock, and the salty sea air gave way to an arid breeze. The Poni Canyon range, with its tall spires and rocky walls, stretched endlessly into the horizon, yet it was eerily silent except for the trainers' footsteps. The silence was broken by a low rumble, growing louder and shaking the ground. A plume of smoke and a booming shudder erupted from a distant trench, revealing a colossal figure rising slowly into the air. This green, rocket-like creature, with detached, pointed arms, emitted a screech like metal scraping against metal. As it hovered, the ground continued to shake violently. Suddenly, on the other side of the canyon, a massive black figure emerged from a shower of dust and rubble. This monstrous creature, with long pincers, spikes, and a gaping maw for a torso, let out a guttural roar. Its rage was evident as it snapped a rock pillar in half with its pincers, consuming it entirely. The trainers now faced these terrifying forces of nature, their full power and menace laid bare before them.
The towering Ultra Beast soared higher, its booming blasts filling the air, seemingly unstoppable despite the trainers' efforts. Hope seemed lost until a distant white dot in the sky revealed itself to be a Togekiss, ridden by a blonde woman. The Togekiss charged at the Ultra Beast, colliding with a flash of light and a loud explosion. The Beast spiraled out of control, veering off course. The Togekiss landed near the trainers, and the woman dismounted gracefully, greeting them nonchalantly as if she hadn't just struck down an Ultra Beast. Meanwhile, the trainers faced another threat from the ground, an enormous, ravenous Ultra Beast. The earth began to shake, and rocks jutted out, pinning the Beast. Hapu, emerging with her Hippowdon, controlled the earth to trap the creature. She sighed with relief, introducing herself as the Island Kahuna of Poni Island and Mina as the Trail Captain. Both newly appointed Gym Leaders, they expressed their gratitude and concern for the trainers' safety. Mina lamented the destruction of her Gym but acknowledged the Aether Foundation's efforts in evacuating people safely. Hapu reassured everyone, emphasizing the Foundation's role in preventing further harm. Thankful for the trainers' heroic efforts, Hapu and Mina suggested they rest at the Seafolk Village Pokecenter while the Aether Foundation handled the aftermath. The trainers' contributions were deeply appreciated, and they were encouraged to take a well-deserved break, having safeguarded Alola from the Ultra Beasts.
In the quiet canyons once more, a sense of uneasy calm settled over the landscape as the aftermath of the recent chaos unfolded. The winds, carrying traces of sea breeze, gently cleared the sky of rocket smoke left by the Ultra Beasts that had wreaked havoc moments earlier. The creatures, now subdued but not defeated, lay still amidst the dust and debris from the powerful attacks they had endured. In the distance, one Ultra Beast had crashed spectacularly with a plume of smoke, while another had vanished into the ground with unsettling roars. As the group of trainers and leaders gathered atop the canyon awaited assistance from the Aether Foundation or the Dimensional Research Laboratory, a deep rumble once again shook the earth beneath their feet, signaling the resurgence of danger. From the depths emerged one of the beasts, its massive form towering as it emitted shrill cries that echoed through the canyons. Simultaneously, the other beast charged from the air with a pillar of smoke trailing behind, fixated on the group with a menacing intent. As the creatures unleashed their fury, the gathered defenders braced themselves for another round of battle, knowing that the safety of Poni Island hung precariously in the balance.
Dust lingered in the air of the canyons, swirling over plateaus and hinting at the devastation that had unfolded. The ferocity of the battle had shaken the very ground, reverberating through the caves with deafening roars and powerful strikes that threatened total annihilation had they occurred elsewhere. The Ultra Beasts, consumed by rage and distress, relentlessly clashed amidst the swirling blizzard that coated everything in a thin layer of ice, their fury undeterred by the environment's hostility or their own injuries. Emerging from its rocky entrapment, the larger black beast stomped free, its massive pincers thrashing wildly against the canyon walls as it advanced towards its adversaries. Across the trench, the other Ultra Beast struggled, its arm-like appendages scraping against unstable terrain. Trapped between these colossal adversaries, trainers and Pokémon alike faced imminent peril as the canyon walls crumbled around them. Yet, just as chaos seemed irrepressible, the atmosphere shifted abruptly. A palpable change swept through the air as spatial and temporal boundaries tore open with unprecedented force. Celesteeala's sky and Guzzlord's canyon wall cracked open into swirling wormholes, freezing both beasts in their tracks. With a shriek and a roar, they vanished into these rifts, leaving behind a shattered landscape and stunned defenders. As the dust settled and the threat subsided, helicopters descended upon the ravaged canyon. Professor Burnet, relieved to find the trainers alive, coordinated the rescue efforts with urgency. Amidst the rubble and chaos, Burnet expressed gratitude to the trainers for their courageous intervention amidst unprecedented dimensional anomalies. Despite the technological shortcomings that had hindered their initial response, Burnet assured them of ongoing support and medical assistance, acknowledging their pivotal role in preparing for future contingencies. As the rescue operation commenced, Burnet reflected on the implications of the incident, resolved to enhance their preparedness and technology. Though shaken by the ordeal, she vowed to ensure that such a cataclysm would never catch them unawares again.

Murder at the Orient Hotel! 2019 After a less eventful start to her birthday celebration, Archduchess Adelaide found herself embroiled in a chaotic sequence of events. The ballroom, initially filled with disappointment over low turnout and lackluster behavior from other trainers, suddenly plunged into darkness as the lights flickered and went out. Panic ensued as the room erupted into chaos: screams, running footsteps, and the startled barks of her Snubbull filled the air. Amid the confusion, a flash of light from Zekrom momentarily illuminated the scene, revealing a struggle and the outbreak of flames. Cyren swiftly intervened with his Kabuto to douse the fire, inadvertently splashing nearby combatants and forcing a brief ceasefire. The room's tension escalated as guests and their Pokémon scattered, reacting to the unexpected events. On stage, Adelaide's loyal caretaker, Rhya, was injured protecting her from harm in the darkness. The discovery of a poisoned needle near Adelaide's chair added to the sense of danger and suspicion. With authority, Adelaide declared jurisdiction over the investigation, vowing to uncover the truth behind the attempted murder and theft that marred her celebration. As tensions mounted, Demetri, her grandson, took charge, welcoming Katie's arrival with crucial information implicating a suspect, Marco. Demetri's determination to unravel the night's mysteries intensified as he moved to interrogate Marco, supported by his Pokémon and allies, while Adelaide monitored the unfolding drama with a watchful eye over the escalating tensions in the ballroom. Demetri proceeded through the bustling ballroom with purpose, deep in discussion with Katie about the source of her information regarding Marco. He acknowledged Elizabeth's potential involvement, keen to explore further depending on developments. Expressing gratitude to Katie, Demetri invited her to join Marco's interrogation, ensuring her comfort or an option to step aside if needed. Approaching Marco and Cyren warmly, Demetri initiated introductions and extended a handshake, aiming to establish rapport before delving into the investigation. Marco, though initially relaxed, responded with a hint of defensiveness as Demetri probed into his profession and the accusations against him. He clarified his role as an archaeologist specializing in ancient ruins, not just any location, despite his casual demeanor betraying some annoyance at the scrutiny. Marco pointed out his public presence at the event, suggesting it was well-documented and cautioning Demetri to widen his investigation beyond him. He subtly offered Cyren and Eve as alibis, hinting they could corroborate his whereabouts during the incident. Demetri, noting Marco's guarded responses, continued to weigh his words carefully, maintaining a friendly yet probing demeanor throughout the discussion. The interrogation concluded with Marco's explanations seeming plausible yet leaving room for doubt. Demetri acknowledged the need to consider Elizabeth's camera as potential evidence, thanking both Katie and Cyren for their cooperation and suggesting further collaboration if they wished. As he prepared to move on, Demetri contemplated the next steps in the investigation, aware that Marco remained a significant figure in the unfolding mystery at Adelaide's birthday celebration. In the midst of Adelaide's birthday celebration, Demetri and his team meticulously examined photographs in hopes of identifying the culprit. Adelaide, stoic and observant, monitored their progress while directing attention to a canine and a quiet teenager, both unexpectedly aiding the investigation. Unaware of Julian's telepathic exchange with Demetri, she maintained a watchful presence, calming her Snubbull amidst the tension. Upon learning the photographs yielded no leads, Adelaide demanded updates from her guards regarding clues—a strand of blonde hair and a purple scale. Her focus shifted to a commotion involving a newcomer, attired sharply and bearing a pink feather, claiming to witness suspicious behavior. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and the investigative team deliberated over the photographs, adding layers to their search for clues amidst the evening's turmoil. As Demetri continued his investigation with Cyren and Katie, they mulled over their observations, pondering the involvement of another Pokémon in the crime. Eve's demonstration with Noivern's echolocation briefly captured Adelaide's attention before Demetri gathered everyone to discuss the accumulated evidence—a knife, black threads, Elizabeth's clasp, a Spinarak's confession, and more. Adelaide emphasized caution and urged thorough consideration of the clues before drawing conclusions. Mars, meanwhile, diligently tracked scents left at the crime scene, identifying unfamiliar traces and adding complexity to their investigation. Later, Katie connected a pink feather to guest Lucille, suggesting its role in establishing an alibi. Demetri accepted the feather as potential evidence and directed further scrutiny. Mars, meanwhile, detected scents from Elizabeth and Marco, contributing vital information without pinpointing the stolen diamond. As tensions escalated and accusations centered on Lucille, Demetri and the guards acted decisively, leading to her swift arrest. The Lycanroc, initially oblivious, stood solemnly by Demetri's side, a witness to the dramatic conclusion of events. Returning to his grandmother, Demetri observed Adelaide's rare display of vulnerability as she addressed the guests, expressing gratitude for their assistance and regret for the disruption. She acknowledged the generosity of her birthday gifts, offering unopened Pokeballs as tokens of appreciation. It was a poignant conclusion to an unexpected evening, marking a moment of closure and reflection amidst the opulence and turmoil. {Step by step summary (Click Here)} The Archduchess, feeling bored at a public event less populated than usual, observed various Pokémon with her two well-behaved Snubbull at her feet. Her grandson Demetri's efforts to include the public were noted, but she found the turnout and behavior of other trainers disappointing. During her birthday celebration, she received numerous extravagant gifts, showing polite but lukewarm appreciation. The event culminated with the arrival of a Shiny Gigalith, a gift from Princess Allie, which finally impressed her and lifted her spirits. As the Archduchess sat idly in her chair, she listened to nearby conversations, appreciating the break from the tedious music her grandson had chosen. Demetri, standing to her right, was pleased with the party's success. On her left, an Audino took Rhya's place while she was away. Rhya soon returned, handing her Shinx to the Audino, and thanked the Archduchess for the brief respite. The Archduchess, observing Liz approaching with a mysterious object, leaned forward and addressed her. Just then, the lights began to flicker and suddenly went out, plunging the room into darkness. Frightened shrieks pierced the silence as the band stopped playing. In the pitch black, the Archduchess's stern voice demanded the lights be restored. Chaos erupted with the sound of running footsteps and her Snubbull barking and snarling. A brief flash of light blinded the guests, followed by a woman's scream and the sounds of a struggle. Another flash illuminated the room momentarily, revealing confusion and fear, before the crashing sounds and yelps of the Snubbull filled the air. The room remained in darkness, filled with the noise of retreating footsteps and hushed whispers of concern. Demetri was thrilled with the success of the ball, though he wished his grandmother showed more gratitude. She accepted gifts graciously, understanding the public eye's scrutiny. As Rhya returned to the stage, Liz approached, prompting the Archduchess to question her. Suddenly, the lights flickered and went out, causing panic. In the darkness, Demetri tried to calm his grandmother but was attacked and fell from the stage. Amid the chaos, Elizabeth, a reporter, captured moments with her camera until she was knocked down. Marco, guarding his valuables, witnessed Zekrom's sudden appearance, lighting the room before the fire was extinguished. Summery of the reported actions during the crimeIn the midst of a chaotic power outage, the ballroom descended into darkness and disarray, setting off a chain of unexpected events. Within moments, the tranquility of the evening shattered as flames erupted on one side of the stage, casting eerie shadows and revealing a desperate struggle between two figures on the ground. The sudden illumination, blinding at first, was courtesy of Zekrom, the Legendary Pokémon of Ideals, whose dazzling display momentarily stunned the gathered guests. As the room filled with the brilliance of Zekrom's light, the scene unveiled a tableau of confusion and tension. A trainer, Cyren, swiftly doused the flames with his Kabuto, inadvertently splashing scalding water onto the brawling men nearby, forcing them to retreat in pain. Amid the chaos, Demetri and a security guard, locked in a struggle, were separated by the unexpected deluge, both momentarily stunned into ceasefire. With the stage now lit, details emerged sharply: guests scattered in varying states of surprise and concern. Marco, unnerved yet fascinated by the Legendary Pokémon, clutched his satchel nervously while his Sableye prowled nearby. Cyren, visibly shaken but composed, stood not far from where he was when darkness fell, flanked by his Pokémon, Noivern and Machop. Julian, seemingly unperturbed by the sudden turn of events, stood near Zekrom with his Umbreon, a serene presence amidst the turmoil. Marcellus, closer to the stage than before, gripped a knife defensively, his Mewtwo poised nearby. Across the room, Andy remained rooted to his spot, while a mischievous Rotom buzzed nearby, its appearance coinciding with the outage. Near the foyer, Ridley appeared shocked and uneasy, her Jynx and Delphox in tow, as Rhienne and her Lucario maintained a stoic vigil nearby. Katherine, kneeling near the food table, looked up in surprise, her Aipom perched on her shoulder and Hoopa nearby, while Liz, poised defensively in front of the stage with her Pokémon, assessed the situation with a keen eye. On the stage, a different drama unfolded as Archduchess Adelaide and her loyal caretaker, Rhya, faced an unthinkable crisis. Rhya, injured while protecting Adelaide from harm in the dark, now clutched a bleeding shoulder as Demetri and the guards rushed to her aid. The discovery of a poisoned needle near Adelaide's chair added another layer of dread to the unfolding tragedy. In a moment of authority, Adelaide declared the entire hotel grounds under her jurisdiction, demanding cooperation from all present in solving the crimes that had beset them. With Rhya's injuries not fatal but severe, she vowed to bring the perpetrator to justice for attempted murder thrice over, alongside the theft of her prized Gigalith. As tensions escalated and suspicion hung heavy in the air, the ballroom transformed into a stage for investigation, every guest and Pokémon now a potential suspect in a mystery that threatened not just safety, but the very fabric of trust among them. Update:As Demetri stood by his grandmother's side on the illuminated stage, the atmosphere in the ballroom remained tense and apprehensive. Behind the safety of Archduchess Adelaide's chair, her Shiny Snubbull, Killer, maintained a vigilant watch, occasionally growling at perceived threats. Meanwhile, Demetri listened intently to the unfolding conversation, interjecting calmly when necessary. Nearby, Cyren approached with Liz, prompting Killer to bark protectively until Adelaide soothed her prized Pokémon. Demetri, appreciative of Cyren's earlier assistance with the fire, accepted the newfound evidence—a clasp retrieved by Cyren's Kabuto—with cautious optimism. Amidst the gathering, tensions escalated further as Julian introduced a formidable team of Pokémon, drawing the attention of both guests and guards. The Archduchess, taken aback by the display of strength within her ballroom, ordered the Abra present to monitor the situation closely, ensuring the safety of all attendees. As the room buzzed with speculation and concern, Demetri welcomed a new arrival, Katie, who approached with potentially crucial information, prompting his immediate interest in uncovering the truth behind the night's events. UpdateDemetri's focus shifted towards Katie, eager to hear the ranger's insights amidst the chaos unfolding around them. As he engaged with Katie, he was vaguely aware of Arcanine's investigative actions and Liz's confrontation with a Spinarak, all while his grandmother, Archduchess Adelaide, maintained a vigilant watch over the escalating tensions. Elizabeth's outburst towards the Arcanine caught Demetri off guard, revealing a side of her he hadn't seen before, drawing judgmental glances from both Adelaide and the surrounding guests. The sudden departure of Elizabeth and her Pokémon left a tense silence in the air, broken only by Adelaide's stern warning to all trainers present to manage their Pokémon properly. Once the commotion settled, Demetri resumed his conversation with Katie, who promptly provided crucial information implicating a suspect named Marco. As they discussed the details, Demetri observed Marco's presence nearby, noting his attire and demeanor with suspicion. Consulting the Abra for confirmation of Marco's invitation status yielded negative results, further deepening Demetri's concerns. With Hoopa offering assistance in the investigation, Demetri suggested widening the search for clues, directing Hoopa to focus on areas where guests congregated during the power outage. Intent on pursuing the lead, Demetri began to move towards Marco and Cyren's vicinity, determined to gather more information while leaving Edwin and the guards to attend to Adelaide. Interrogation of Marco Dirk: Demetri proceeded through the bustling ballroom with a deliberate pace, engrossed in his conversation with Katie. His determination to conduct a thorough investigation prompted him to inquire about the source of her information regarding Marco, keenly interested in any prior acquaintance or hearsay. Learning that it was from a female reporter, Demetri glanced towards Elizabeth, confirming his suspicion. Expressing gratitude to Katie for the insight, he contemplated speaking with Elizabeth later depending on the developments. With a nod to Katie, he proposed her presence during Marco's questioning, offering her an option to step aside if uncomfortable. Approaching Marco and Cyren with a genial demeanor, Demetri greeted them warmly, acknowledging Cyren's earlier defense of Elizabeth. Introducing himself and extending a handshake, he aimed to establish rapport before addressing Marco directly about the investigation. Inviting both Cyren and Katie to join the discussion, Demetri guided them to a nearby table, ensuring a comfortable setting while preparing to delve into the matter at hand. Marco maintained his relaxed posture but responded with a hint of defensiveness as Demetri pressed on about his profession and the accusations against him. He clarified that he considered himself an archaeologist focused on ancient ruins, not just any location. Despite his casual demeanor, Marco didn't hide his annoyance at being scrutinized. Meanwhile, Sableye, peeking out from Eve's wing, expressed gratitude before climbing onto Marco's shoulder, showing a mischievous side. Regarding his presence at the event, Marco asserted that it was public knowledge via news coverage, implying his attendance was no secret. He cautioned Demetri to widen his investigation beyond just him, suggesting there were other potential suspects present. Marco subtly offered Cyren and Eve as alibis, hinting they could corroborate his whereabouts during the incident. Demetri, noting Marco's guarded responses, continued to weigh his words carefully, maintaining a friendly yet probing demeanor. UpdateDemetri observed the group around him, sensing that Marco's interrogation had concluded smoothly, though the suspicion lingered. Marco had explained himself adequately, but it wasn't definitive proof of innocence yet. As Cyren mentioned Elizabeth's camera, Demetri nodded in agreement, recalling seeing her take photos earlier. Demetri affirmed the idea that a camera flash could have captured something crucial. Acknowledging the new piece of evidence tied to Elizabeth's camera, Demetri thanked Katie and Cyren for their cooperation and offered them to accompany him further if they wished. Standing up, he prepared to move on, considering Katie's role as a Ranger might be valuable. Meanwhile, Eve, positioned near the stage, recalled the chaotic events she witnessed, detailing footsteps, metal sounds, and flashes, providing crucial insights into the incident. Across the room, Aipom scanned the varied expressions: Marco appeared calm yet optimistic, Elizabeth focused with a hint of calm, Estelle somewhat inconvenienced yet engaged, Natasha visibly irritated and uncomfortable beside Andy, and Ridley engaged in conversation with Liz, exuding confidence and flirtation. Update: Archduchess Adelaide, seated regally on her birthday throne, simmered with frustration as the investigation into Rhya's injury unfolded around her. She longed to be in the tranquility of her hotel suite, celebrating her birthday in peace, but duty bound her to oversee the proceedings. Despite her confidence in Demetri's abilities, the slow pace of progress gnawed at her patience, especially with Rhya's well-being at stake. Absently stroking her Snubbull, Princess, nestled against her, she observed the spectacle of a Spinarak and Kabuto slowly approaching the stage. Adelaide's initial upset softened to curiosity as she recognized the spider and its unusual companion, the fossil Pokemon. Princess, typically bold, defiantly confronted the unfamiliar Pokemon and its artifacts until Adelaide intervened, calming her pet and focusing back on the creatures. Listening intently as the Spinarak and Kabuto communicated through gestures and occasional vocalizations, Adelaide gestured for a guard to examine the items they had brought—blonde hair or fur, a scale, and a web of blue beads. After scrutinizing the objects, Adelaide pondered their significance, addressing the Pokemon directly for insights, though she admitted her lack of expertise in such matters. As the guard handling the items joined the table, an Abra, perched nearby, relayed their translations in a rush, causing a mild headache for one guard. Adelaide processed the information, learning from the Spinarak's confession that it had fired the poison stinger to defend against an attacker—a commendable yet reckless act, in her view. Considering a fair response, Adelaide decided against punishing the Spinarak, instead issuing a warning to all present about conduct during the investigation. She contemplated the clues laid before her, deducing their potential to lead to the perpetrator. Though uncertain about the specifics of the items—a purple scale, long blonde hair, and decorative beads—Adelaide remained resolute in her pursuit of truth and justice, relying on her keen observation and commitment to honesty in guiding the investigation forward. Update: In the midst of the birthday celebrations, Adelaide, the Archduchess, found herself grappling with the aftermath of the chaotic events. Her attention turned to Julian, whose keen senses were focused on the newly discovered clues—a purple scale, blue beads, and a strand of blonde hair. With his Noivern's distinctive scent lingering on one item, Julian meticulously analyzed each clue, hoping to unravel their significance in the unfolding mystery. Meanwhile, Demetri, Adelaide's grandson and the primary investigator, orchestrated a shift in strategy. He opted for a public interrogation on the stage, hoping to provoke a breakthrough in the investigation. With Katie and Cyren aiding him, they managed to retrieve and scrutinize Elizabeth's photographs. Disappointed by the lack of incriminating evidence in the images, Demetri's frustration grew, compounded by the unexpected offer of telepathic assistance from Julian.Amidst the tension, Cutiefly sensed unease in Leah, the Absol, and shared her trainer Elizabeth's belief that Marco might be implicated. Cutiefly urged caution, emphasizing the importance of trusting instincts amidst the swirling suspicions and lingering uncertainties at the birthday gathering. Update:The Archduchess observed with a stern, calculating gaze as Demetri and his team discussed the photographs, hoping they would reveal the elusive perpetrator. She remained stoic, focused on the unfolding investigation. Her attention briefly shifted to the canine, diligently sniffing the clues, and the quiet teenager, both proving unexpectedly helpful in the search for answers. Unaware of the psychic conversation between Julian and her grandson, she maintained a watchful eye over them, her hand reassuringly resting on her Snubbull to keep her calm amid the tension. When the disappointing news arrived that the criminal had evaded capture in the photographs, Adelaide's frustration simmered beneath the surface. She turned sharply to the guard beside her, demanding updates. His report on the clues—confirming the hair didn't match anyone present and the scale likely belonged to a Noivern—prompted her to ponder their significance. Her gaze shifted between the dragon and the short-haired blonde, contemplating their possible roles in the unfolding mystery. Her attention was momentarily diverted by a red-headed commotion across the room, triggering a tightening of her lips in disapproval. She was poised to intervene when a sharply dressed newcomer approached with a pink feather, claiming to have witnessed suspicious behavior. Adelaide scrutinized him, her demeanor expectant and commanding as she awaited his report. Meanwhile, across the room, Elizabeth, the reporter, analyzed the photographs with a thoughtful expression, discussing possibilities with Demetri and the others. Her insights into the camera's capabilities and limitations added another layer of consideration to the investigation, as they collectively searched for any clue that might break the case wide open. Update:Demetri engaged with Cyren and Katie, mulling over the possibilities presented by their collective observations. He valued Cyren's insights, pondering aloud about the potential involvement of another Pokémon in the crime. As they discussed, Demetri experimented with his own Roserade, attempting to return a Pokéball with a diamond encased inside, only to find it didn't work as planned, a theory dashed but still valuable in their deduction process. Their conversation was interrupted by Eve's demonstration, using Noivern's echolocation to reenact the events of the crime. The Archduchess intervened with a commanding gesture, signaling everyone to halt and observe. Demetri absorbed the implications, linking Eve's demonstration to Elizabeth's testimony about where she was during the incident. This revelation seemed to provide Noivern with an alibi, placing her on the opposite side of the stage from where crucial evidence was found. As the investigation progressed, Demetri gathered everyone around the stage to scrutinize the clues together. They discussed the significance of each piece of evidence—a knife with no prints, black threads, Elizabeth's clasp, a spinarak's confession, a blonde hair, blue beads, and a pink feather found in the foyer. The Archduchess added critical context about a suspicious guest and her Pokémon, Rhienne, urging caution in their assumptions until more concrete evidence surfaced. Demetri's leadership shone through as he encouraged the group to focus on the clues and their implications. He sought insights from Cyren, Katie, and Julian, inviting their perspectives on the evolving puzzle. Mars, meanwhile, diligently sniffed out scents left behind at the stage area, identifying traces from various attendees and one unfamiliar Pokémon scent, adding another layer to their investigation. Update: As Demetri contemplated the implications, Katie returned, announcing her connection of the pink feather to the blonde guest, Lucille. Demetri accepted the feather as potential evidence, considering its significance in establishing an alibi for the guest. He acknowledged Katie's contribution and instructed a guard to place the feather back among the other clues for further consideration. Meanwhile, Mars diligently pursued his olfactory investigation. He first examined Elizabeth, who appeared visibly disheartened near the stage's edge. Mars detected a light scent of sweet perfume but no trace of the stolen diamond. However, he noted a faint familiarity with an unfamiliar Pokémon scent, linking it to Elizabeth. Moving on to Marco, Mars encountered a musky cologne scent with hints of minerals and gems, though not specifically diamonds. Marco remained cooperative during the inspection, allowing Mars to complete his search methodically. Update and Arrest:Amidst the elegant gathering centered around the Baron, a Lycanroc lounged casually, oblivious to the gravity of the unfolding events. Entranced by a new game from Demetri, he occasionally sniffed the air, his attention flickering to the tantalizing spread on the food table. Mars's voice snapped him from his reverie, introducing a playful distraction in the form of a young puppy, sparking a brief but spirited camaraderie. As discussions swirled around suspects and motives, the Lycanroc, with his playful energy, contributed sporadic barks and nods, unaware of the mounting tension. The atmosphere shifted abruptly when accusations crystallized around Lucille Pevensey, implicating her in grave offenses against the Archduchess and others. Despite her vehement protests and a shaky alibi, the room erupted into a charged confrontation. With authoritative resolve, the Baron and his guards moved decisively, leading to Lucille's swift detainment. Shock rippled through the assembled guests, mingling with a palpable sense of justice served. The Lycanroc, now attuned to the gravity of the moment, stood solemnly by Demetri's side, a silent witness to the dramatic turn of events that had unfolded amidst the opulence of the gathering. Demetri turned back, retracing his steps towards the stage where his grandmother awaited. As she rose to address the crowd, her stern demeanor softened into gratitude. "I want to sincerely thank each of you for your help," she began, her voice carrying a rare vulnerability. Expressing regret for the disruption caused by the recent events, she acknowledged the strain on her guests and the threat to someone dear to her. Demetri, observing quietly, recognized the rarity of such a speech from her and remained respectfully silent. Continuing, the Archduchess acknowledged the generosity of her birthday gifts, now offering unopened Pokeballs to the assembled trainers, believing they would find greater happiness with them than she could. As she spoke, a small table materialized with ten Pokeballs, untouched and filled with potential surprises. It was a gesture of gratitude and recognition, marking a poignant conclusion to the evening's unexpected turn of events. She is known far and wide for her seriousness and stern persona, one that seems almost unbreaking. She is held in great respect, and fear, due to her age as well as her history in the Kalos region. Adelaide was raised in the high life, and is use to getting her way, regardless of how hard the task is to achieve. She demands the finer things in life, and believes her family and herself deserves it after their hard work in keeping Kalos' peace, and keeping the region safe and wealthy for the most part. She has a zero tolerance for immaturity, or unprofessionalism, and has no problem disciplining those who need it. The Archduchess has been hardened over time, and even turned cold, after a long hard life of making tough choices for the better of the people, no matter what it meant. After helping rule in a region in war, she was hardened, especially after the loss of one of her sons. Because of that, Adelaide rarely ever comes out of her palace other then for family events that are closed off to the public. She has very little time or respect for the Press, and has little trust in anyone but family. She had high values in courage and bravery, and believes respect and rewards must be earned, never given away for free. She has a sharp tongue, and has no filter. She is extremely out spoken, but has the intelligence to speak the truth. She's been known to stand up for what is right, and sometimes just what she thinks is right, to even those higher ranking then she. Even the King. She is very old fashioned, and rules as such. She only shows care, and warmth, to those she finds close and trustworthy. Which is very view. Namingly, her family, and her two pet Snubull; Princess, and Killer. Biography: {Bio (Click)}The Archduchess Adelaide Beatrice Albert was born into royalty. She lived a very easy life growing up, given everything she ever needed and wanted, and went to the right academies. She never was one to ever be late, or ever get a single thing wrong in her school history. She received perfect marks and honors as she graduated and began to work her way into the politics of Kalos. Being royal of blood, it was an easy choice to crown her as Duchess of Kalos when she became of age, but she not only held the right to the position, but she also had the intelligence to out maneuver those working against her. She rose to power over the years, and began to gain more and more control. Being related to the Queen, she was able to claim the title Archduchess but the time she was in her 40s. By this time she had fallen in love with Count Vernon, and they got married, and had three sons. By this time, Adelaide's children had claim to their own powers. Her youngest son had started his own business, being blessed with his mother's intelligence, and invented a new potion to heal Pokemon with. While royal in blood, he made his business and money on his own, and now is the richest of her three children. Her middle son, Ernest Leopold Albert, worked hard and was knighted. Over the years he worked through the ranks, and began one of the high ranking Colonel in the Kalos Army. Her oldest son followed her own footsteps, earning perfect marks, and worked his way to become the Marquis. Kalos was a place of wealth, beauty, and peace through out their rule, until Archduchess Adelaide was in her early 60s, and the king declared war on a near by Region. The war was brutal but quick, only lasting 9 years. However, the war took great tolls on the royal family and the region of Kalos itself. Both sides suffered many deaths, but before the war's end, Colonel Ernest lost his life in a electrode blast. His death hit the the Albert family hard, Adelaide never had an easy time in what power she had, even with Kalos prospering wonderfully, but this was enough to turn the old duchess cold. The hardest decision she made in her life, she (and the royal family) willingly signed a peace treaty with the region shortly after the officer's, her son's, death for the better of their people. The years went by, and the Archduchess remained cold. She refused to go into public events, or interviews unless her job called for it, to which if so her appearance was very quick, to the point, and less then pleasant to say the least. Discovery Island Adventure 2022 {Update Posted 7/12/22 by: Elemental Paradisity (Click)} All characters have received the following message on their Pokedex:Hello Trainer,
You have been randomly selected from our marketing and focus group research as a registered trainer to be a part of our first soft opening day of Discovery Island! After years of development, funding, research, and a vision to bring new life to the science of tomorrow and the history of the past, we hope that you will accept this opportunity to be one of our first guests. This is an all expenses paid, all inclusive, first look at what Discovery Island looks to bring to the public, including top rated restaurants, shops, resort style hotel accommodations, top of the line amusement rides and coasters, and attractions like no other park has ever been able to offer.
In accepting this invitation, your reservation will be set, and travel accommodations will be made available to bring you to our dock and boating facility outside of the Isle of Armor. There, first class ferries are available to bring guests to Discovery Island, a tropical paradise that has provided the perfect fit for our facilities. Please note, due to the sensitive nature of this park, and wanting to maintain the highest level of safety and security for both guests and Pokemon, one guest is only permitted to have with them three Pokemon on the island. For these same safety and security reasons as well, the use of Pokemon attacks and abilities on the island is prohibited. Accepting this invitation is agreeing to the terms and conditions stated to ensure that all guests can enjoy their experience on Discovery Island.
Upon arriving, all guests will be welcomed to enjoy the shops and restaurants in the front of the park, and once all guests of this group have arrived, our head of Operations, Grace Chambers, will be your introduction and your escort into the park.
We look forward to your attendance as our guest, and may your discoveries with us truly be magnificent. - At this time, any train or boat city/town or any location that has a gym located can bring you to the Docks and Park Entrance thread in the story line events subforum. Any form of travel that makes sense for that location, boat, helicopter, small plane, the choice is yours
- Upon entering the story line thread, you must have no out of party Pokemon displayed in your posts, and you must clearly state which 3 Pokemon are going to be maintained as your “active party” for the event. The other three Pokemon in your party can continue to earn posting exp for the duration of the event
- All attendants must be in the story line thread by midnight
Sunday June 19th for the start of the event This has been extended to Wednesday June the 22nd - Until then, characters are encouraged to begin socializing and can enjoy restaurants and shopping
- Arriving at the docks, a ferry will take characters to the island, and from arriving on the island, a high speed magnet train will take them into the main park area
As the attendees disembarked from the train and entered Discovery Island’s main area, they were greeted by Grace Chambers, the Head of Operations. Grace, a striking figure with flawless blonde hair neatly tied in a ponytail, pristine makeup, and a perfectly tailored professional outfit, exuded an air of authority and welcome. Accompanying her was a female Indeedee, dressed in a matching white blazer and holding a clipboard, creating a polished and efficient business duo. As the final guests, including Professor Sonia, Roxanne, and Clemont, arrived, Grace introduced herself with a warm, professional smile, setting the tone for the day’s events. She explained that the guests were part of a critical focus group tasked with evaluating the island's development, emphasizing the significance of their feedback in shaping Discovery Island into a premier scientific facility. Grace detailed the groundbreaking work of their scientists, who had advanced beyond previous fossil research to regenerate complete DNA structures of extinct Pokémon. She highlighted the island’s remarkable achievement of bringing back ten never-before-seen species, along with other familiar Pokémon in their pure types. Grace then outlined key guidelines for the guests: capturing Pokémon was strictly prohibited, their own Pokémon were to maintain a safe distance from the island's inhabitants, and all Pokémon attacks and abilities were disabled to ensure safety. She reassured the guests that these measures would not harm their Pokémon. She proceeded to describe the island’s diverse attractions, which included world-class restaurants, shops, a resort-style pool, hotels, a Children’s Aquarium, a petting zoo, amusement rides, an Aviary, a large aquarium, and both herbivore and carnivore sanctuaries. Grace encouraged the guests to explore and enjoy the island while promising that park attendants would be available to assist with any needs. However, as the sun reached its zenith and the park bustled with activity, a sudden and alarming event occurred. The grand resort-style hotel, towering over the main entrance area and surrounded by pools, fountains, and walkways, experienced a brief flicker of its lights before plunging into darkness. The power outage quickly spread, causing all surrounding facilities—walkway lamp posts, shop windows, restaurant signs, and decorative features—to go dark as well. Despite the daylight, the entire front portion of the park was left without power, except for the Pokémon Center, which managed to stay operational thanks to its backup generators. In the control room deep within the island’s facilities, the situation became chaotic. Technicians, who had been monitoring various systems and screens, noticed the initial power anomaly but initially dismissed it. However, the situation rapidly escalated as the power loss spread. Jared, one of the technicians, observed the failure of the resort’s power and soon received confirmation of the outage affecting the front entrance and other areas. Nicole, another technician, frantically typed at her keyboard as the power loss continued to spread. Amid rising tension and chatter, a supervisor called for calm, reminding the team of their emergency protocols. The focus shifted to restoring power to the resort area while ensuring that the remaining parts of the park continued to function smoothly. Meanwhile, a public address system announcement informed attendees of a “routine power shortage,” urging them to remain calm and enjoy the unaffected facilities while the issue was being addressed. As guests wandered through the Aquarium's winding tunnels beneath the bay, they enjoyed the cool, serene atmosphere and the sight of calm water Pokémon. However, the tranquility was disrupted as the aquarium lights began flickering erratically, followed by the abrupt cessation of the ambient music, leaving an uneasy silence. Sections of the tunnel lighting went out, while others flickered or remained dim, though sunlight filtering through the water still provided some illumination. An automated female voice reassured guests of a routine power shortage and encouraged them to remain calm while they continued to explore the Aquarium or other attractions. In the northern sanctuary, a vast natural habitat for the island’s roaming species, a spark at the gate entrance shorted the power systems, causing the gate to close and trapping park attendants outside. Trams on this section of the track stopped, losing power and shutting down, while automated Jeeps flickered and eventually went dark. Dimly flashing dashboard screens displayed a prohibition symbol, and an automated voice advised attendees of a routine power shortage, urging them to stay calm. In the Petting Zoo, workers were interacting with young fossil Pokémon when the mist sanitizers activated and left empty doors behind. The paddock lights flickered and went out, and the manmade beach currents surged uncontrollably, sweeping Pokémon around. A staffer was washed ashore with Pokémon in tow as the beach began to flood. Quickly realizing the situation, the staff decided to close the Petting Zoo and relocate the young fossils to their nightly enclosures. A red prohibition hologram appeared on the front doors, notifying guests of the closure for maintenance. The aviary, a grand structure housing numerous flying-type Pokémon, experienced a sudden power fluctuation. Lights blinked and info screens cycled on and off before going dark, while gates clattered and slammed shut. An automated voice announced a routine power shortage, advising visitors to remain calm and enjoy other facilities while the issue was addressed. In the Theme Park, the vibrant atmosphere was abruptly interrupted when arcade lights flickered, and the music ceased. The roller coaster halted mid-climb, the Roaring Rapids slowed, and the arcade went dark and silent. An automated system intermittently cut in, announcing a routine power shortage and advising attendees to stay calm while the situation was resolved. As power outages wreaked havoc across Discovery Island, the once-bustling park descended into chaos. Lights flickered and went out, trams stalled mid-track, and buildings were plunged into darkness. The Pokémon Center remained operational with backup generators, while a public address system intermittently urged patrons to remain calm and explore the remaining facilities. Clouds thickened, blocking out the sun, and in the control room, frantic staff scrambled to manage the unprecedented system failure. In the northern sanctuary, electric fences sparked and malfunctioned, leading to unrest among the inhabitants and a complete shutdown of the trams and automated Jeeps. The Petting Zoo and Aquarium experienced similar power failures, causing gates to swing open and triggering safety concerns. The Aviary faced severe structural damage and territorial disputes among Pokémon, leading to their escape. As the tropical storm’s fury subsided, the island lay eerily quiet, its attractions and habitats in disarray. Clemont was stranded in a tree, pursued by an aggressive Pokémon, Sonia was trapped atop a roller coaster, and Roxanne struggled through flooded aquarium tunnels. Grace, the Head of Operations, battled through the storm and struggled to maintain control. The forcefield protecting the island faltered, leading to a complete collapse of the island's operational systems. With evacuation protocols in place, Grace and her Indeedee, Evelyn, navigated the jungle while Marianne and Dylan at the command center desperately tried to manage the crisis. Grace, exhausted and battered, reached the main entrance to provide food, water, and first aid to the survivors, pledging to ensure everyone's escape despite the dire situation. {Step by Step Summary (Click)} Full posts found hereOnce all the attendees arrived and disembarked from the train into the main portion of the park, they were greeted by Grace Chambers, the Head of Operations. Grace, a tall woman with flawless blonde hair in a ponytail, immaculate makeup, and a pristine professional appearance, stood ready to welcome the guests. Accompanied by a female Indeedee holding a clipboard and wearing a matching white blazer, they presented a perfect business pair. As the last guests, including Professor Sonia, Roxanne, and Clemont, arrived, Grace introduced herself with a warm, professional smile, welcoming them to Discovery Island. Grace explained that the guests were part of a crucial focus group for the island's development, emphasizing the significance of their experience in shaping the future of Discovery Island as a premier scientific facility. She detailed the groundbreaking work of their scientists in DNA and genetic technology, surpassing previous fossil research by reviving complete DNA structures of extinct Pokémon. She highlighted the island's unique achievement of regenerating ten never-before-seen species, along with other familiar species with pure types. Grace then outlined important guidelines for the guests: capturing Pokémon on the island was prohibited, their own Pokémon should keep a safe distance from the island's inhabitants, and the use of Pokémon attacks and abilities was disabled to ensure safety. She assured that this would not harm their Pokémon. She also described the island's many attractions, including world-class restaurants, shops, a resort-style pool, hotels, a Children's Aquarium, a petting zoo, amusement rides, an Aviary, a large aquarium, and herbivore and carnivore sanctuaries. Concluding her presentation, Grace encouraged the guests to explore and enjoy Discovery Island, offering assistance through park attendants for any needs. - The sun was high in the mid afternoon, the park was in full swing now after a good handful of hours that the first soft opening patrons had come off of the trains and out into the main portion of the park. The tropical winds were billowing across the island and the temperature was indeed warm, with a bit of cloud cover coming in through the skies, blocking the sun every so often. Everything was running smoothly, the opening day for the park had been planned and prepared for in every way they could have possibly fathomed, and thus far it seemed that they had accommodated for all of the necessary variables in knowing that they were expecting visitors for the first time such as the trains running more regularly, more shops and other facilities being up and running all at once, and especially making sure that every attraction and every exhibit was working at full capacity. In the most central portion of the main entrance portion of the park, the incredibly large resort style hotel stood for all to see, towering over most of this portion of the park and surrounded by its many resort style pools, walkways, fountains and other decorations and adornments. Looking out towards the hotel though, for just a brief moment, there seemed to be just the smallest flicker of the various room lights in the windows, easy to miss, it had only lasted for just a second, before the entire building flashed bright and then shut down entirely. The decoration lights on the outside, all of the windows, the fountains and walkway lights, all of the surrounding pool areas and what not, everything all at once shut down entirely. Even in stark daylight in the middle of the afternoon, it was very clear to see the hotel had lost all power at this point, and was entirely unresponsive. There were a couple of moments afterwards, the hotel did not whir back to life, but instead section by section the main front portion of the park was powering down. Walkway lamp posts, shop windows, restaurant signs, decorative fountains, standing map kiosks, everything began to flicker and shut down until everything in this entire portion of the park was without power. All except for the Pokemon Center that had flickered and powered down, but not before coming back up with a set of backup generators, but that was the only facility connected to such a generator. At this point the entire front end portion of the park was without power, though a public address system did ring to life at various corners of the area, and an automated female voice could be heard coming through the speakers. ”Attention Attendees, we are experiencing a routine power shortage. Please remain calm, and continue to enjoy the other facilities at this time while this is remediated.” In the control room deep within Discovery Island’s facilities, the staff was diligently ensuring that every patron had the best experience possible. Technicians monitored various screens, infographics, and cameras to maintain smooth operations. Suddenly, one screen flickered briefly with chromatic aberration, which a technician dismissed due to its fleeting nature. However, an alert sounded immediately, signaling a power outage in the resort section. Jared, a technician, noticed the anomaly, but before he could connect the events, Nicole reported that the entire resort had lost power and was unresponsive. As she furiously typed at her keyboard, the situation escalated with reports of power loss spreading to the front entrance, affecting restaurants, shops, and lights, with only the Pokémon Center remaining operational on backup power. Amid the rising chatter, a supervisor called for calm, reminding the team of their protocols and instructing them to focus on restoring power to the resort area while keeping the rest of the park functioning. - As guests meandered through the winding tunnels of the Aquarium beneath the bay, they enjoyed the cool air and tranquil sights of calm water Pokémon. The atmosphere was serene, punctuated only by soft conversations, occasional harmless bumps from Alomomola against the glass, and ambient music. However, the hum of the aquarium lights gradually intensified, and soon the lights began flickering erratically. The music abruptly ceased, leaving an uneasy silence. Moments later, sections of the tunnel lighting went out completely, while others flickered or remained on. Despite the disruption, sunlight filtered through the water, providing enough illumination. Observant guests might have noticed the automated feeding system activating, chumming the waters for the aquatic Pokémon. An automated female voice then addressed the attendees, informing them of a routine power shortage and advising them to remain calm and enjoy the Aquarium or explore other attractions. In the northernmost expanses of the island, where nature reigned supreme, the sprawling sanctuary provided a perfect habitat for the island’s roaming species. This vast area, with its hills, cliffs, thick tropical forests, open fields, and rivers, ran smoothly with minimal human intrusion. The trams and gates marked the sanctuary's entrance, and only the occasional automated Jeep ventured within. Suddenly, a spark at the gate entrance shorted some power systems. Although the fence remained intact, the gate shuttered and closed indefinitely, stranding park attendants outside. The trams on this section of the track stopped, losing power and shutting down completely. Inside the sanctuary, the automated Jeeps flickered, their steering mechanisms jerking momentarily before their batteries died, leaving them immobile. Only the dimly flashing dashboard screens displayed a prohibition symbol, and a calm automated female voice announced over the vehicle speakers, advising attendees of a routine power shortage and to remain calm while it was addressed. In the Petting Zoo area, workers were enjoying downtime by feeding and playing with young fossil Pokémon. One staffer waded through shallow waters, hand-feeding the baby fossils, while another entertained a small group, playing and petting them. Some Pokémon eagerly participated while others watched or napped. Suddenly, the mist sanitizers activated, but no guests emerged afterward. One staffer discovered the mist continuously running and empty doors. Then, the paddock lights flickered and shut off. Soon after, an engine sound heralded the manmade beach currents going into overdrive, sweeping Clamperl and other water Pokémon around. As the waters receded and then rushed back, a staffer was washed ashore with armfuls of Pokémon. Stunned, she noticed the beach starting to flood. The two staffers quickly decided to close the Petting Zoo and move the young fossils to their nightly enclosures for safety. A hologram of a red prohibition sign appeared on the front doors, notifying guests of the closure as the paddock underwent maintenance. The aviary, one of the island's most ambitious projects, was an enormous structure designed to house dozens of flying-type and related species. Larger than any sports stadium and more expansive than a typical park, it featured numerous staircases, pathways, landings, and platforms, allowing guests to view the inhabitants from multiple angles. The aviary included covered platforms with ambient lighting and info screens providing scientific details about the fossils housed there. Various gates helped manage foot traffic and close sections as needed. Suddenly, the power flickered, causing lights to blink and info screens to switch on and off before going dark. The gates clattered and slammed shut due to surging power. An automated female voice calmly announced a routine power shortage, advising attendees to remain calm and enjoy other facilities while the issue was addressed. While the group of trainers enjoyed the arcade, the Theme Park was vibrant with life despite the limited number of guests. Adventure music played throughout the park, arcade lights flashed, and game sounds beeped and whirred. The roller coaster roared around the tracks, mostly with empty carts, occasionally filled with screaming trainers. The Roaring Rapids ride continued to run, boats floating through the waters and spraying unsuspecting guests. The arcade, full of trainers, was the place to be. However, the games' scoreboards began to cycle numbers rapidly before flickering. Suddenly, the entire arcade went silent and dark. Meanwhile, the adventure music around the park shut off, the roller coaster stopped mid-climb, and the Roaring Rapids slowed to a lazy drift. Section by section, the powerful lights shut down. An automated system overhead played a calm female voice announcing a routine power shortage, intermittently cutting out: "Attention attendees, we are experiencing a routine power shortage. Please remain calm... tinue to enjoy the attract-... remediated." - Power outages wreaked havoc across the island, plunging most of the park into darkness and halting operations. Lights flickered and trams stopped mid-track, while buildings remained unlit and disconnected. The Pokemon Center remained operational thanks to backup generators, and a public address system intermittently urged patrons to enjoy the remaining facilities. Hours passed with no improvement, as clouds thickened and blocked out the sun. In the control room, frantic activity replaced the previously orderly environment, with staff desperately trying to address the unprecedented system outage. Grace, the overseeing authority, demanded updates amidst the chaos, highlighting the gravity of the situation. The Carnivore habitats remained undisturbed until alarms blared and sparks flew from the electric fences, causing the gates to malfunction. This disturbance attracted the attention of the inhabitants, creating a state of unrest. Meanwhile, enclosures at the petting zoo and aquarium lost power, causing gates to swing open and leading to potential safety concerns. In the Aviary, the power surge caused structural damage and triggered fierce territorial disputes among the Pokémon, resulting in the shattering of domes and the escape of the flying creatures into the open air. As the public address system repeatedly warned guests to take shelter due to a containment anomaly, the island's attractions and habitats lay exposed and in turmoil, with the island's systems failing to provide any semblance of order or safety. - As alarms and the public address system fell silent, the island was left in a state of eerie quiet, with only the occasional roar from Pokémon and the distant rumble of thunder piercing the calm. The once-bustling park was now entirely shut down, with all systems compromised and control seemingly lost. Thick, gray clouds rolled across the sky, followed by a heavy tropical rain that drenched the island. In the Carnivore Habitats, the compromised enclosures led to predators roaming freely, causing chaos and destruction. A gyrosphere lay overturned and damaged, evidence of recent disturbance. Elsewhere, Clemont found himself stranded in a tree, pursued by an aggressive Pokémon after escaping a damaged gyrosphere. High above the theme park, Sonia was trapped atop a roller coaster, unable to climb down or risk exposure to the flying Pokémon descending from the broken aviary. She used her Pokedex’s flashlight in hopes of signaling for help. Meanwhile, Roxanne struggled through the flooded aquarium tunnels, attempting to evade the water and hostile Pokémon as she sought refuge on a higher platform. Each area of the island faced its own crisis, as the chaotic aftermath of the power outage and storm unfolded. - As the tropical storm's fury subsided, gray clouds lingered over the island, now eerily quiet after the chaos. The park, once abuzz with activity, was now in disarray, its systems and protocols inoperative. The containment systems, once deemed foolproof, had failed spectacularly, leaving the facility in a state of panic. Amid this turmoil, Grace, the Head of Operations, fought to regain control. She had been driving through the storm, her car mired in mud and beset by a Rampardos, when she realized the gravity of the situation. Her attempts to contact the control center were fraught with urgency as she and her Indeedee, Evelyn, braved the elements to continue the evacuation. As Grace and Evelyn struggled through the rain, the forcefield over the island began to falter, its protective barrier slowly vanishing. This loss marked the collapse of the island's last operational system. The realization of the full impact of the breach came as Marianne, the lead Pokémon Behaviorist, articulated the impending danger. The Pokémon, long contained and untested, would now be unleashed, discovering their true abilities in a chaotic environment. The lack of communication and knowledge about the Pokémon's capabilities left everyone in a state of dire uncertainty. As a crash echoed through the control room, it became clear that the situation was spiraling beyond control, with no immediate solution in sight. - As the evacuation protocols continued, only a handful of staff remained at the command center, including Dylan and Marianne. With the island's final defenses crumbling, Grace was still struggling through the jungle with her Indeedee, Evelyn, determined to lead everyone to safety. Inside the command center, Marianne, accompanied by her Pangoro, rushed to investigate a distant crash. The hallways were filled with sounds of battle, prompting Marianne and her Pangoro to barricade the doors in a desperate attempt to buy time. Dylan, in a state of panic, struggled to get the PA system operational on limited backup power, hoping to relay a message despite the failing systems. Amidst the chaos, a distorted broadcast crackled over the island’s speakers, urging any survivors to make their way to the main entrance for evacuation, as the situation inside the command center grew increasingly dire. - The resort area lay eerily silent, its usual buzz replaced by an unsettling quiet. Broken fences, toppled light posts, and puddles of rainwater marked the only visible damage amid the still-intact structures. The storm had passed, leaving behind a gray overcast and a fleeting sense of calm. Grace, determined and exhausted, had trekked miles on foot from the site of the Rampardos attack to reach the main entrance area. Despite her frizzy hair, muddy clothes, and battered appearance, she managed to gather food, water, and first aid supplies from the resort facilities, hoping to be ready for any survivors. Upon encountering the group of trainers, she expressed her deep relief and distress, acknowledging the chaos and failures that had led to their predicament. With a solemn promise to get everyone off the island, Grace directed the trainers to the Pokémon Center for supplies and rest, and she and Evelyn set off to find a way to the docks, determined to ensure everyone’s escape despite the dire circumstances. - NPCs: Professor Sonia Roxanne Clemont Participants:Marcellus Patrillo ( White Prince Of Wonderland) Ridley Hale ( White Prince Of Wonderland) Cypress Lawson ( White Prince Of Wonderland) Phineas Howe ( Elemental Paradisity) Rhienne Virray ( Elemental Paradisity) Emiri Virray ( Elemental Paradisity) Church Blackburn ( Mocha) Alice Blackburn ( Mocha) Romara Lovell ( Mocha) Valentine Galea ( sharkeep) Elfana Aroway ( Elfy) Briar Bellerose ( Elfy) Hanako Lucali ( Elfy) Faithe Miles ( Faithe) Velvet Kingston ( ninestarryskies) Kintaro Satoshi ( rooker) Dana Griswald ( rooker) Liz Morgan ( rooker) Quinn Liberati ( buggygardener)
