"Hello, This is Pepper Olsen, Your local news reporter. Reports all over the nation are coming in about strange things happening with Pokemon. I am here at the local Pokecenter with Nurse Joy, to show you just how strange things are getting. This Weepinbell has been burping up fireballs all morning, talk about heart burn. While this poor Luxio has been sneezing water pulses all over the place. Those are just a few of the more serious cases, the occurrences are quite bizarre, and we have very little information on this, but what we do know is that it doesn't seem to be hurting the Pokemon at all. We are hoping to gain more with the help of Nurse Joy, and the Professors as they research these oddities. There are no news on if this is tied to the strange attacks in 2015."
*The Weepinbell's stomach begins to groan behind Pepper*

Hope you all didn't think that we weren't going to do something for April Fools this year, because we have something crazy going on for April 1st 2k17!
For this particular event, all you have to do is generate a number between 1-17, and that number is specified by a type as show below.
1- Fire
2- Water
3- Grass
4- Electric
5- Psychic
6- Ice
7- Dragon
8- Dark
9- Fairy
10- Fighting
11- Flying
12- Poison
13- Ground
14- Rock
15- Bug
16- Ghost
17- Steel
Now that you have generated a number for a type, and you know what your type is, you are now free to choose any attack within that type and teach it to any Pokemon of your choice in your active party for two existing characters. That's right, you read that right. You roll fire and you have a Bulbasaur? Your Bulbasaur can now learn fire blast if you want, or how about a Growlithe that knows Blizzard? So long as you choose the attack within the type that you have rolled for, you can choose any one attack to teach to any one of your active party Pokemon. You must tell us here what Pokemon in your party will be learning what attack before you can add it to your Pokemon's information.
This is only a one time deal, so there's no re rolling for a type, and once you tell us what attack is going to what Pokemon, you cannot change it, so you have to think carefully on this. The only restriction is HM moves, you cannot teach any Pokemon an HM move without that HM.
A note on these attacks however. If for any reason you switch out this attack with a TM or a move that the Pokemon learns while it levels up, ect, you cannot get this attack back, it is forgotten forever, so make sure you've thought really hard about what attack goes to what Pokemon.
If for any reason you delete a post from this thread, whether you forget to do the number generator, generate the wrong number, anything, you must leave it in this thread. There is to be absolutely no deleting posts during this event.
In addition you can choose any lv. 5 unevolved Pokemon of your choice, including one of the forum's fakemon. (Found in the Fakedex here)
A note on the fakemon. All of the fakemon have been reserved by the original creator except for the Paralos, Mareve, and Chifaera. Those three are up for free grabs to whoever wants one, but for the others, you must message and ask the permission of the creator of the fakemon to receive it. These pokemon are special, and we want them to stay that way. If the fakemon has evolutions, you may only claim it at it's unevolved state.
