 {Things to remember (Click)} - All Pokemon except for legendary Pokemon can be found on the reserve
- Within the reserve, you can only capture a maximum of three Pokemon
- Once you have successfully captured your three Pokemon, you do not have to leave the reserve, but you cannot make any more captures
- All Pokeballs can be used on the reserve
- No flutes, incense, lures, abilities or other items that affect wild Pokemon encounter posts may not be used on the reserve
- It will take 3 RP posts per wild encounter on the reserve
- If you have not successfully captured a Pokemon within three attempts, the Pokemon will run away
- Running from a wild battle is optional, and there is a 4/10 chance of being able to escape every time you attempt in a battle. This roll does take your turn in a battle, just like in the games. You do not gain any exp or get your encounter posts back for running from a battle
- You may leave the reserve and come back as you please
- There is a Pokemon Center, box system access, and camping grounds and cabins available on the reserve for trainers
- There are no hoard battles, no SOS battles, and only one Pokemon can be encountered at a time per post. No double battles. These may or may not be time sensitive events that can occur in the reserve
- You may encounter NPCs in the reserve
- You can move from area to area freely, there are no post requirements, but you must enter and leave the reserve through the campgrounds
- Be mindful of what Pokemon you are encountering next and move to the appropriate area. A Snover would not be found on the coast

 Katie Du'MontThis experience was the last thing she ever expected. She loved Flying-Type Pokemon, but had never been in the air herself. The sensation of being so far from the ground made her stomach drop. Even so, she couldn't take her eyes away from the window. If they fell now, they were in trouble. Once or twice, she thought she heard someone try and talk. Any attempted conversation was quickly killed off by the noise. That was fine with her, she didn't want to speak to anyone anyway. If it were up to her, she wouldn't have ended up on here anyway. Suddenly an unpleasant thought occurred to her. How far did this event extend? If he found her here, if her carelessness lead her right to him... The helicopter landed a while later, and she breathed a sigh of relief as the noise died down. "Over here, please!" A friendly feminine voice called for their attention. "Gather over here!" The group made their way over as a whole. "Welcome to the Leafstone Nature Reserve! We're so glad to have you all here. If you would kindly scan your Pokedex here to register, we can get you all going!" She was so bubbly that it made Katie a bit sick. She went on to explain the rules, how each Trainer was only allowed to capture three Pokemon, and how they could stay as long as they liked. Finally it was her turn to slip her Pokedex into the scanner. A band printed out, which a volunteer put around her wrist. -Backpack-

After agreeing with the female trainer. Skylar and the trainer and their Pokémon got teleported to the reserve, now where they are at the camping grounds, the chikorita and espeon seemed to enjoy the air with all the trees around. Skylar smiled enjoying the sights. " I wonder what Pokémon will be around." He asked. And en looked over at the trainer and medicham. " Thanks so much for letting me come with you getting teleported. Seems as I'm ok with teleportation." The Helicopter ride made Thomas nervous. He loved being in the sky, but the fact that he was in an enclosed metal vehicle that was liable to crash at any moment made him clench his teeth through the entire ride. When it landed, his jaw relaxed. It was very sore. "Over here, please!" Thomas looked up, seeing a long table set up. All three Trainers approached the table and listened to the explanation and rules. He registered his Pokedex and hurried off to the Pokemon Center to collect a couple of Pokemon. When he'd collected the two Pokemon from his P.C., he wanted to get out there and explore the Reserve.

There were dense trees, tall ones that looked like they were decades old, and cabins at every corner that were already teeming with life and activity. The area was quiet, despite the onslaught of trainers that she knew would be here, and it actually felt peaceful. Turning just a bit, she found a facility in the short distance, no doubt where all the trainers were entering, so they really truly were at the reserve. The trainer Skylar thanked her for taking them their, or more aptly coming with him, and Rhienne nodded to him. She still wasn't entirely sure why that she had made the decision to come here in the first place, but she really couldn't think of anything else that she would be doing at that moment. Perhaps just taking a moment and clearing her head, spending some time in a new place. She had been in the Johto Region for so long, even growing up in the Johto region for her entire life. Maybe a change in scenery, a change of pace would be good for her for the time being. |

Thomas had just finished registering his Pokedex and turned around with a smile on his face. He took about a dozen steps when someone appeared a foot away in front of him. Despite having done the exact same thing to a young girl the day before, Thomas was caught off-guard. A scream escaped his throat before he could stop himself, going on for only a second before he cut it off. Holding his chest, he stared wide-eyed at the girl. "Sorry..." He muttered, visibly embarrassed by his surprised shout. His attention was drawn to her outfit, the dark clothes stood out among the Campers, Bug-Catchers, and School-Children who were running around.

The long pointed Espeon ears that rested on either side of her head stood up straight in the shock as her tail fluffed at the sudden noise, and she glared with deep purple eyes at the boy that screamed. Teleporting wasn't so strange that someone would have to scream when someone came in, and surely she wasn't the only trainer who had Pokemon that could teleport.
"Sorry for over reacting? You kind of should be, you didn't just scare yourself, but you've drawn a nice stare," Rhienne glowered, adjusting herself as she stood up straighter, with her two Pokemon beside her as a few of the passers by stared at the trainer who screamed for what would seem in that moment for no good reason.
"Geez guy, what's your damage? It's called teleporting," Aviabra huffed, looking up with a stern look and crossed arms at the trainer. |

Thomas glared at the girl. Really, was it necessary to be so rude? He could have not apologized and walked right into her. In his annoyance, he thought she may have deserved it. "I'm sorry, sorry you decided to just pop up wherever without any concern for other people. What if I had been three steps further when you appeared there!" Honestly, he didn't know what would have happened. He'd never heard of a case where someone Teleported to a space that was already occupied by another person. He wasn't bothering to keep his voice down either, the people who had enough nerve to look at them only annoyed him more. Remorse and sympathy weren't something that Rhienne was too keen on, certainly when there was no reason for it, and another quality that Rhienne did not retain was passiveness. Not only was the teleporting not her fault since this trainer did have apt time to take a look at his surroundings to not run into anything, she was not going to let him sit there and insult not only her training but the natural skills of her Pokemon. Rhienne's eyes were sharp behind her glasses as her ears now lay flat against her head, and she turned to fully face this trainer now who dared to insult her psychic types.
"My psychic types are as well trained as you are dense, and by that standard, you could end up on the other side of the world in a matter of seconds if I give the word," Rhienne seethed, absolutely not standing for him insulting and degrading her standard of training and the capability of her Pokemon that she had been training for years now. However, she had only finished her statement before the male huffed and turned on his heel, trying to storm off for some dramatic effect she was sure, but that only made her argument all the more sound.
"Geez, two seconds and we're already picking fights. I thought this place was supposed to be like chill and stuff," Aviabra huffed, crossing her arms again as she turned back to Rhienne after watching the trainer storm off.
"You can still give the word you know. I could think of an island or two that could stand to have just one inhabitant," Cheshire sneered, watching the trainer go as well with his sharp red eyes.
"Why expend the effort if he's moving for us? I'm sure Absolem could think of something better to do in this moment than ridding us of insolence," Rhienne commented back to the Haunter. |

After having gone out exploring a bit, Skylar say the Espeon of his was tired and yawning as he returns her to her rightful poke ball. He then notices that the female trainer her was with was in a fight already, rolling his eyes he runs over with the shiny Ponyta by his side, running over they stop at 5 ft away.
"Whats going on here?" Skylar asked calling out as the Ponyta skidded to a stop next to him, he wasn't one to like fights, and wasn't that good at breaking them up either. But he had hope that he could hopefully stop it. As he walks over to the female trainer and her pokemon his eyes catch the other trainer who she was conversing with.

Skylar holding the fainted Espeon in his arms as he climbs onto the Ponyta's back they gallop off towards the camp sight, there they would soon find the Pokemon Center. Softly dismounting he returned his Pokemon and walking inside he was welcomed by the Nurse running the joint, he hands his pokemon in a tray. " Please take care of my pokemon." he asked she gave a nod. "Ill do everything i can." she replied taking them back. He waited for a good 10 minutes in the waiting room. When the chime went off, nurse joy came out with a smile and his 4 poke balls in the tray. She told him " Your Pokemon are all better and in perfect condition." she said and being happy they were ok he smiled. " Thank you so much nurse joy!" she nodded happy to help and as Skylar left his Ponyta came out of her ball on her own and scoops the trainer onto her back with a happy cry. " Alright lets go to the plains again!" Marcellus took in a deep breath, taking in the earthy scent of the trees, before looking about. He was in the common area, it was surrounded by trees, and very peaceful. There weren't to many Pokemon here, just the bird in the trees or bug every so often. What you'd expect at a camp site. Marcellus knew good and well he was not going to camp out in a tent... He was going to need a cabin, one of which he wouldn't mind paying to rent. He spotted the main building and began walking towards it with Josette and Angelique following alone behind him. Novu how ever was looking around wide eyed, and slightly dilated, at everything he was seeing. It had been so long that Novu was let out that wasn't at home, or for a battle. So being out side in nature in a calm environment alone was enough to excite him. But he looked to all the trees, seeing how tall they all were. "My people! We're in nature! These are my people!" Novu cried excitedly, and took off running, stalling on the dirt for a moment as his nubby legs worked. He ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. The princesses stopped and looked back, but Marcellus continued walking without hesitation. He could hear Novu's cries although he couldn't understand them, and he could here him run. He knew Cronus would care for him. Before Novu could get half way to the trees, the bulb disappeared into thin air. Novu reappeared in Cronus's arms, as he levitated after Marcellus. "Those are trees. They are not your people." Cronus spoke almost unamused and plainly. Novu struggled against the embrace of the mewtwo trying to get free, but the legendary seemed completely unphased by the attempts. "But no, they are. I'm one of them. I belong here. I'm one of them." Novu spoke fairly sure of himself, that he belonged out in nature with the trees. Anyone that knew Novu could tell that Novu would not survive out in nature. He was rather strong, and well trained, but he was still young and naive. He needed someone to watch out for him. "No, you belong at home with Marcellus. Don't you think Venusaur would be disappointed that you weren't with us when he visited?" Cronus reasoned with Novu, forcing him to see the bigger picture the only way he could. Angelique scoffed as she marched clearly annoyed behind Marcellus. Josette continued to walk as she kept her eyes moving at the surroundings. "You're wrong, Angie. It's so pretty here." The white smoochum tried to correct, Angelique looked to Josette swiftly and her cheeks and lips puffed up. "You would think that. You belong here to." She retorted angrily. Josette's little eyebrows flexed angrily and she went to speak but Marcellus stopped her. "Angelique, if you can't play nice, you can sit in time out in your Pokeball." Marcellus warned, treating her like a child, although she really wasn't. She wasn't a smoochum to begin with. Neither was Josette. They both were victims of some powers beyond Cronus's. Josette was devolved by Celebi's powers on accident as she traveled through time. Angelique was devolved due to the dark powers of Raphiel. But Marcellus's threat was enough, and Angelique turned away and pouted.
Marcellus walked into the main building, and began to speak with the counselor, and spoke about the cabins. Marcellus decided to rent an entire cabin, knowing he'd need the full cabin to keep all of his Pokemon housed, and if they ran into someone in need, they could room with him. The sun was beginning to fade a tiny bit. There was obviously still a few hours left of sunlight, but it wouldn't last forever. She wondered if she was going to stay the night. If she did, would she try and rent a cabin or hunt throughout the dark hours? These thoughts occupied her all the way back to the Pokemon Center. The kind Nurse took her Pokemon to the back to revive and restore them to their full health. She brought them back out about half an hour later, and Katie thanked her politely. She released Treecko, who climbed back to his shoulder-perch at once. She also called out Rowlet who flew alongside her as she walked out of the Center's front doors.

This time, when Katie returned to the entrance and campgrounds of the Leafstone Nature Reserve, it was much darker. The sun was sinking, already half gone on the horizon. She found her way into the Pokemon Center on her growing-familiar path and handed her Pokemon over. Unfortunately, she was not doing well on her adventures here. She rented a Cabin while her Pokemon were being healed, and went to set her stuff down. When she returned to the Pokemon Center half an hour later to collect her Pokemon, it was a quick hand-off and she went straight back to the cabin to do some serious thinking. Rowlet flew around the room, enticing the Buizel to chase him below. Treecko however slept, curled up on the pillow.

She had been this far west before, out in the wilderness around the Kalos Region, but she had never fathomed that such a wide amount of that land had belonged to a nature reserve all this time. The helicopter began its descent, and Azuran followed suit as they came up towards the coast of this land, and in the far, far distance Emiri could see the Kalos region, and she knew they were in the right place. They followed the aircraft towards what she assumed would be the front of this place as she saw cabins it looked like, and a few buildings here and there that marked the beginning of this reserve, and being able to leave the helicopter behind now, Emiri and Azuran came in for their landing. The fossil's large wings rustled the leaves in the trees and the grass on the ground as he steadied himself in the air to make his landing, and in moments his two legs touched ground in the reserve as he settled himself on the shoulders of his wings. Emiri adjusted herself on his saddle as Azuran leaned down for her to dismount, and Emiri landed softly on the ground beside him as she'd jumped the small distance from his neck now.
"Thank you Azuran for taking us all the way out here," Emiri spoke with a small smile as she took Azuran's large head in her hands, stroking his scales.
"You are right about needing to find somewhere to get some air under our wings again. We've taken time for recovery, it's time we get back into practice," Azuran agreed as he stood up straighter on the shoulders of his wings, looking around the campgrounds of sorts with cabins and otherwise as he started walking with Emiri through the front area of the reserve.
"I think that flier said that we need to check in, or register somewhere so that they know we're here, and then we can go out into the reserve," Emiri mentioned as she moved towards some of the larger buildings around them, seeing another influx of trainers moving about, no doubt from the same helicopter that they had followed here. Meanwhile after beating the Phantump, Skylar journeyed back again and nurse joy was happy enough to heal his pokemon. However, this time he noticed a small bellowing cry in the back of the Pokemon Center, he asked nurse Joy about it, motioning him to follow her she leads him back, in one of the operation rooms was a pokemon that was lying on the bed resting, it was actually the size maybe even larger than a human but by a little bit. Taking his Pokedex out he scans the Pokemon, soon to discover it was the fossil Pokemon known as Amaura but this one was colored unlike any other, its body was white, with that its under belly was a red color and so were its crystals on the side of its body. " Hey Nurse Joy what happened to this Amaura." With a sad expression she looked at the trainer and gave a sigh. " This Amaura was revived from a fossil to be with its kind, however after being caught and given a trainer 3 times, each trainer found it weak and unable to battle properly, the main reason for that is because the Amaura didnt want to battle so the trainers abandoned it." Feeling awful about that happening he asks for permission to meet the Amaura. Being a bit skeptical of the trainer, the nurse did realize that he always came back to care for his pokemon so she nodded as Skylar went into the room. The Amaura slowly woke up to hearing a door close, she looked around and saw a trainer being instantly frightened, however the Chikorita on Skylars shoulder jumped onto the bed and started to talk to the Amaura, within minutes the Chikorita made a new friend, and eventually got the Amaura to let Skylar come over after freezing his hand twice. He came over gently rubbing her head right in between her two sails, her sails were normally a blue color or so thought the Nurse since thats the only color they were due to the scared life of the small dino, but feeling this sensation of being patted her sails started to go a light green color, kind of like its emotions the color varied on its emotion, as they turned green she gave a happy bellow and reached over giving Skylar a nuzzle which caused him to react. " AWW JEEZ! Thats cold." he said before the two pokemon started to laugh at him. He spent a good while with the Ice and rock type, leaving the room he heads to nurse joy thanking her and beginning to leave the pokemon center. The Amaura noticed him leaving and jumped off the bed running to the door to soon be stopped by Nurse Joy. She realized the small bond the Amaura felt and opened the doors for the Amaura who ran out soon to tackle the trainer to the ground. Nurse Joy chuckles walking over. " It seems that this Amaura has taken a real shine to you. If you promise this Amaura to treat it like your other Pokemon, i think you would be able to make it a happy Pokemon again." Skylar eyes the dino before vowing these words. " Amaura you have my promise." The Amaura squealed happily before Skylar grabbed a pokeball and setting it down as she got off him and nudged the ball going inside, the ball wriggled about and soon shined in a red shade as a capture. Skylar picked the ball up and nodded to Nurse Joy and she had given him some items she found with the Amaura that included: 1 Charcoal, and 4 revives. as Skylar thanked her, he ran back out in to the plains to meet his friend Rhienne Backpack*Items: Pokeballs X, Potions X

Katie Du'Mont It was time again to have her Pokemon healed at the local Pokemon Center. Besides, she was exhausted now and wanted to get some rest. While her Pokemon were healing, she chose to wait in the Pokemon Center. and wait for them to be ready. It took long enough that she considered letting them stay the night here and just going back to her cabin, but it almost felt like that would be the same as abandoning them. So she waited. "Here you are!" The Nurse said with a bright smile, about half an hour later. "Your Pokemon are rested and ready!"
"Thank you." She said with a sleepy little smile. 'My turn!' She thought, and she collected the Pokeballs. When she was safely back in her cabin, the young blonde called out all of her Pokemon. Rowlet was full of energy, zooming over-head. He hooted excitedly while Buizel watched him from below in confusion. What was going on with the owl? He didn't really understand the excitement. Treecko started climbing up Katie's side, but she picked him up and set him down carefully on the bed. Then, yawning, she slipped into the bed and fell asleep. -Backpack-

She'd been dragged onto a helicopter and taken to an unfamiliar land, still not sure if it was safe here from those who were looking for her. All of those Pokemon much stronger than hers were that had shown them very little mercy were weighing on her mind. Again, the familiar thoughts of 'maybe I shouldn't be here' floated across her mind as she lay in her camp-bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her Pokemon had been healed again by Nurse Joy, and she was relaxing for a bit before going out again. Treecko crept up beside her, poking her in the head. She turned her head slightly to the side and looked at him. "Oh, hello." "Tree, Treecko!" He looked at her expectantly. She looked around at the others, and they were all sitting around watching her. Apparently they all wanted to get out there and explore further. She sat up in bed and put her shoes back on. They all jumped up excitedly and followed her out. -Backpack-

Thankfully the other Pokemon had let her pass without problem, seeing as she had no Pokemon out to battle with. She was going to have to figure out why they were leaving her alone when she was on her own. It seemed like there was something hidden in that fact. Either way, the Nurse graciously healed her Pokemon and had her back on her way within ten minutes. This time, rather than walking alongside her Pokemon, she endured the loneliness and decided to walk by herself. -Backpack-

She hastily handed over the Pokemon and waited in the only waiting room for them to be healed. Thankfully the process didn't take long, and she was ready to go back out if she chose to. Or she could get on a helicopter and get the hell out of here... that also sounded like a good idea to her. She stood in front of the Pokemon Center, not quite sure what to do. "One more." She finally decided, turning towards the Reserve. -Backpack-

The voice of some little kid broke the silence of their rest. Katie had decided it was as good a time as any for them to have a break, and relax for a bit. She looked around, visibly annoyed. What could this kid possibly have to say that would make her care one way or the other? Well, the answer to that was apparently "Let's have a Pokemon battle!". So, the kid caught some Pokemon he'd never seen before and decided to challenge her? After everything she'd gone through, she was willing to make him regret this.
She agreed, surprised at her own ruthlessness. The kid said; "Let's have a one-on-one battle, okay?" She simply nodded, and he grinned, throwing out an Ice-Type named (According to the kid's shout) Jynx. She couldn't have told you whether that was the actual name of the Pokemon, or a Nickname. "Go, Treecko!" She pointed an arm and finger at Jynx. Treecko ran the length of her arm and jumped off, swinging around and slamming his tail into Jynx's face. She stumbled back, holding her nose with both hands. She ran forward then and returned the hit, only to be hit once again with Treecko's tail. Jynx slumped over, and was no longer able to battle. That meant one thing - Katie had just won her first ever Pokemon battle against another Trainer.

Coconut replaces the smell of the bar, and I don't know if it's her or the rum. ♪ Katie raced back to the Pokemon Center, Carracosta was not looking so good after their battle. She wanted to make sure that he was healthy as quickly as possible. It took ages for her to get back, even though she'd recalled all of her Pokemon and no wild Pokemon interfered with her escape. After a while, she made it back and Nurse Joy was happy to run her Pokemon to the back. Katie only had to wait about twenty minutes for her Pokemon to be returned to her by a smiling Nurse. "I... thank you for helping me so much, Miss. I have already caught three Pokemon, so I think it's time I go back."
The Nurse smiled sadly. "I'll be sorry to see you go, I was getting used to seeing you running back and forth." She didn't say so, but Katie had another reason for wanting to get out of here. She'd seen people from all over the different Regions coming and going, and didn't want to risk the possibility that he would turn up and abduct her.
She jogged out the front doors of the Pokemon Center and over to the registration desk. Now that fewer Trainers were coming each day, there was only one Registrar. "I was wondering when the next Helicopter back to Hoenn will be arriving?" She asked politely.
The Registrar looked down at a clipboard and ran her finger along as he read. "Twenty minutes." He replied. That gave her just enough time to run back to her cabin and collect the rest of her belongings. Finally, backpack heavier again, she ran back to the Registrar's desk and waited the remaining five minutes until a loud noise announced the arrival of the helicopter.

Elizabeth Morgan Diggle had tried to resist being called into her Pokeball, but Liz had made enough arguments in favor of it that the Aron now rested at her trainer's hip with everybody else. Even Lucky was tucked away in her Ball, just to be sure nobody tried to go on another adventure alone. Liz was still dressed in her bikini from Alto Mare and came to regret that quickly after taking off again. The redhead was hugging her pack to her chest for warmth and protection from the wind and pressing her back against Julian for double the warmth. The sigh she let out as they approached the Reserve was difficult to read. Liz loved traveling and enjoyed her time with her friends, but the trip itself could get boring. It took all of her self-control just to keep from repeating "are we there yet?" to Julian. As an afterthought, she really hoped Noctowl wasn't rude enough to relay that thought when she hadn't intended to share it. It was like having a kid stuck in a grown woman's body. She fidgeted on Pidgeot's back again, trying not to obstruct Julian's vision or disrupt Pidgeot's balance. Flying could be exciting, but it was way worse for a restless girl who wanted to move around as a form of entertainment. Leafstone appearing in the distance made Liz perk up, forgetting her manners and giving Julian a brief eyeful of her back--a few lines of scarred skin near her armpit and below--before her red hair flew up in his face. "Julian! Julian, look! What is that place?" She cried, getting excited now that they were about to reach what she hoped was their destination. It had been a long while since Pidgeot began following the helicopter. Liz had grown excited at every island--no matter how small--just for the hope they would finally land! This had to be the place. She could feel the untold adventure coming off of it! She could feel all the Pokemon she'd never seen before! She could feel--Oh, GOD why didn't she change her clothes!? "Cold! It's cold! Let's land! Can we land? Please!" The redhead pleaded, shrinking down against Pidgeot and holding her backpack in front of herself again. It did little to buffer the chill coming from Leafstone's mountains, but it helped Liz to escape the reality of that situation. Hopefully Julian enjoyed her butt while he could see it because it was going to freeze off!
Teeth chattered relentlessly as Pidgeot came to a rest in front of the Pokemon Center near the docks. Liz leapt from the big bird's back and hurried into the Center where she got directions to the nearest private space and tried to slam a sliding door. That didn't work, but the lock at least did. She warmed up first, jumping from one foot to the other and rubbing her arms until the chill began to abate. Cherry soon found himself out of his ball and then crushed against his trainer for a long minute even as the cold grew less worrying. Liz sighed happily and relaxed, sitting with her Cyndaquil keeping her bare midriff warm and looking up at her over her chest. "Sorry, Cherry. Mommy doesn't do 'cold' very well." She explained, patting his head and smiling happily. The Cyndaquil only tipped its head, watching his trainer and the noticing her arm for the first time it was uncovered in front of him. That only made Liz remember she needed a new glove. "Don't you worry about that. It was a long time ago. I'm not scared of fire." She murmured, picking up Cherry and kissing the end of his nose. Liz wouldn't be afraid of fire anyway. Even heated, Pesker's unstable poison was what had caused most of the damage. She was afraid of Poison Type Pokemon, and acids of all types. It made her very averse to the idea of vomiting, even for a good reason. Cherry nudged the mark on her chest with his nose, squeaking out an inquiry. "No, no. It doesn't hurt. Usually." She winced as she remembered the other reason she didn't like the cold. The crease of her elbow began to ache and Liz fished out a small can of cream before rubbing it onto the spot where her skin had begun to crack. Heat was no better for the condition, but cold just seemed to always be worse for her.
Liz was finally changed and dressed after she checked her scars for more dried patches, wearing a faded green tee shirt and a "construction" orange vest that had one reflective stripe on the left side Her shorts were similarly orange and all of it was attention grabbing. Some of her outfits existed for the purpose of distracting people from her scars. Shorts and a tee shirt wouldn't keep her warm, but she would deal with that until she could get a new glove sent from Goldenrod. Liz smiled once she spotted Julian, folding her hands behind her back in another subtle attempt to protect herself from pitying stares. "S-Sorry about that. I'm really bad with the cold. If you can wait a minute, I need to check something out before heading out. Okay?" Did Julian really have to wait up for her? He probably would, but that only made her feel guilty. Liz made two quick calls. One was to the Storage System, changing out Rin to recall her favorite little Berry Pokemon. The other was a longer, less enthusiastic call to her mother.
"Elizabeth? Oh, there you are! Hello, sweetheart!"
"Hey mom."
Her mother was gushing even though they had talked just a day ago. It embarrassed Liz to be reminded how much the woman worried about her. She stuck it out anyway. She needed a favor and she found herself missing her mother more every day.
"So..."
"Lizzy! What happened to your--you know what?!" Mom had shouted at first, but then lowered her voice on remembering that her daughter was sensitive about her burns. Liz held up her arm coyly.
"A really big Pokemon came to Alto Mare. I'm fine. Julian stopped it. Everybody's OK. Mom, can you send another one? Like Mrs. Carrington showed us? I really, really need it." She pleaded, sounding pitiful in a way Julian hadn't heard before if Noctowl was listening to her.
"Don't you worry, baby. I know what that means to you." Mrs. Morgan's face disappeared from the screen for a while followed by some thumping and banging as she hurried to get a small collection of the garments. "There. That's four. I'll go see your little girlfriend tonight and buy some more. You stay safe, my little Flareon!" Liz couldn't help but blush at the pet name and make a face. If Noctowl was reading her mind, he would catch the cause of embarrassment from her thoughts followed quickly by a very crude threat on what she would do if anyone found out about it.
"Thanks, Mom. Thank you so much. I'm...I'm sorry." She finished, looking down. Her mother looked only briefly confused, but didn't say what she knew.
"You take care of yourself, baby. I love you so much. And I am so, so proud of you." The screen went dark when her mother hugged the camera to her chest and Liz smiled sadly.
"I love you too, Mommy." She whispered, one tear sliding down her cheek. "Bye." After the Item Ball was transferred through, Liz picked it up and pulled the rolled up gloves free before she sent it back. Then the call terminated. She disappeared into the room again and came back out pulling her hair up through the collar of her shirt with a fresh sleeve covering all but her fingers. "Sorry that took so long, I had some things to get from Mom." She explained, trailing off if Julian had already wandered away from the Center. Julian Malcolm
Julian and Typhlosion, the dynamic-duo, the dream-team, they had been through so much together. Julian looked at the discolored fur caused by Darkrai's attack and couldn't help but feel that was his fault. Julian was the f*ck-up, he touched that letter, he pushed them further into that tower, he couldn't beat that Gym Leader. He owed so much to Typhlosion, he wouldn't have survived any of it without the Fire-Type's help. Finally Liz finished her phone call, and Julian went to get dressed. He left Typhlosion - still pumping up the fire around his neck - there in the room for Liz. Shortly after, he returned with clothes similar to the clothes he'd been wearing before, but with a light jacket for extra warmth. "It's pretty late, maybe we should get some rest and check this place out in the morning." He suggested.
