"I've got everyone gathered. We're on the east side of the building," Emiri heard Zaron's voice, letting her know where her Pokemon had gathered for their discussion, but Emiri panicked only slightly at the thought of 'everyone' being out from their Pokeballs.
"That strange creature, you didn't let it out of its Pokeball, did you," Emiri asked, knowing Zaron wouldn't do something so brash, but she just wanted the peace of mind to know that nothing more was going to happen to it until she could get some answers. She was hoping maybe to get in contact soon with Cronus, the psychic might have some answers since he was far more intelligent than she could ever hope to be about the world, but she always did hate having to ask the psychic for help like he was some information stand.
"No, the creature is in its Pokeball, everyone else is here though," Zaron answered as Emiri had come out into the main lobby of the Pokemon center, the sound of people chatting and Pokemon doing the same coming to her ears since she was no longer in those sterile hallways. Emiri held the Chifaera close in her arms, though she felt him move and shift every so often as he watched the passing environment, and she wondered just how much he was actually able to see and process after having hatched only a few minutes ago. She noticed that this particular species, much unlike most mammal based species of Pokemon, was already very responsive and cogniscent after just being born. Some species couldn't even open their eyes right away let alone hear or process as much as this small Pokemon seemed to be doing, and it made Emiri wonder if this was normal for this species, and just what kind of genetic makeup it had to be capable of this. The Chifaera sniffed at a passing Manectric, leaning forward just slightly with his square muzzle, though he earned a strange look from the electric type as they walked by.
"You're already paying so much attention to your surroundings," Emiri commented quietly, and the Chifaera's ears again responded to the sound of her voice as they raised to listen to her, and within moments Emiri was moving through the giant sliding doors that lead outside to the quiet late afternoon. Off to the side, in the near distance, she could already hear the congregated sounds of her Pokemon conversing with each other and keeping to themselves on the side of the building, and rounding the corner she first saw Charizard and Azuran standing together who turned to look at her at the sound of movement. Lynno was perched in a tree they were standing beside, and Flix stood beside Blastoise and Salamence, and Rhydon stood just beside the tree trunk. Venusaur was close, on the other side of the tree trunk, and Flareon was on the ground beside Charizard, but the first of any of them to approach was Kovu who came through the group of Pokemon with Zaron and Nimbus both floating close behind. Emiri held the baby close to her chest as Kovu approached, but Charizard stopped him with a wing from getting too close as she looked down to the black dragon.
"Hang on, lets give it some space," Charizard spoke gently, ignoring Kovu's chuffs and growls, but he understood as he took a few steps back from Charizard's extended wing.
"Did the baby hatch alright? Is it healthy," Nimbus asked, hovering on his tail beside Kovu as he looked at Emiri intently with his blue eyes.
"Yeah, lets see it already. Do we even know what it is now," Flareon spoke in a bit of an impatient tone, but Emiri knew he meant nothing by it to be rude or otherwise, he was probably just as secretly excited to meet the baby as everyone else might be. Emiri stood back just a little bit from her Pokemon as she looked them all over who were all intently staring back, and she withdrew her arms just a little bit more from the baby that she was holding, letting everyone get a good look at him. The small white Chifaera looked around at the giant group now with his shimmering golden eyes, his ears twitching and tail coiling and uncoiling beneath him as they all regarded him and looked him over.

"No one knows, I guess there isn't enough information about them...," Emiri answered a bit solemnly, but the answer caught Kovu's attention who looked up to her from the baby, his eyes steady and his voice emitting a small sound.
"Kind of like you Kovu...," she commented, and Emiri watched his ears fall then at the realization that once again, just like him and Cerian, they had no way of knowing where this young Pokemon was supposed to go or how they were going to reunite it with any of its kind.
"Is that all the information you were able to get," Rhydon asked, unsure of what their options were now in order to handle the situation that they had found themselves in.
"What are we supposed to do with a baby then," Flareon spoke, clearly unsettled about the situation and their lack of options, wanting to know if there was anything that they could do that didn't involve the obvious answer they were all dreading, including Emiri.
"Do they have anywhere to take care of babies," Nimbus inquired, hopeful at the very least that there was an option that would be good for the baby since it seemed that Emiri was so concerned about taking it with them, and even himself too since she had been so careful about letting him come with them at all. Emiri looked out to her Pokemon as they asked their questions, but there wasn't much answer that she could give, nothing solid that would give them a steady solution.
"They don't have a nursery, or the things needed to take care of all of the babies they might find on the grounds. They have to reintroduce them to the wild as soon as they can," she commented, but that only raised more questions than gave answers.
"They can't reintroduce this one, not without knowing where a parent or another of its species is," Charizard remarked, stating the obvious that none of them wanted to hear, but it was true, this little one couldn't survive in the wild all by itself without having a stable environment to be a part of.
"That's when they would have to find somewhere else in the world that might be able to take care of it," Emiri returned, shifting the small Pokemon in her arms as it pawed again at Kovu's muzzle, clearly interested in the larger Pokemon in front of him.
"So it's just going to get tossed around until someone can figure out what to do with it," Lynno commented, hardly liking the sound of that at all despite his less than kind and caring demeanor. He knew that he had a hard enough time growing up in just one place like Celedon City, he couldn't imagine what growing up in two, three or maybe even five different places would be like.
"It wouldn't be able to get the necessary skills to take care of itself in the wild if it grew up that way," Blastoise muttered, knowing from experience that without the proper environment for any one thing to grow up and develop in, they missed out on necessary life skills that would help them survive, thus his lack of ability to swim or get off of that island that he had gotten trapped on.
"I know...," came Emiri's soft voice over all the realizations that were being brought about through her Pokemon, all of the things that she had already started to consider.
"What are we supposed to do then," Salamence asked, but not daring to state the one thing that it seemed this was all coming to, to even consider taking the baby with them in their travels if only for a certain amount of time.
"Emiri... We can't, you know that," Charizard spoke after a moment, moving forward slightly towards the girl and the young Chifaera who looked up at her movement then with his wide, shimmering gold eyes.
"There's no where else for it to go... I don't want to take him either, it's too dangerous, but we have to try to give him his best chance," Emiri returned quietly, her voice timid and she didn't look Charizard in the eye with her words, knowing the dragon was right.

"That's enough, that's not what we're trying to discuss," Charizard roared, flaring her wings over the ensuing argument that was only going to continue to get worse and worse, and she was aware of it all. She knew that she hadn't helped the situation any with her own comment, but she new that this was a wound that would continue to fester until it came to something terrible, like how Azuran told her he'd left Emiri in Celedon City that day. At Charizard's roar though, and the growing aggressive atmosphere, the baby began to shake and tremble in Emiri's arms as it gave out a small cry, clearly not able to cope with the negativity that was going around.
"No no, shh, it's okay," Emiri tried to soothe, glancing to her Pokemon who had all turned at the baby's small sound.
"I don't have to leave... Do I Emiri," came one quiet voice among them, Flix who stood at the back of the argument leaned forward to look at her with his yellow eyes, his head hung low and his voice timid among all the arguing that had taken place.
"Oh no Flix, you don't have to go anywhere," Emiri spoke then, and she could feel the tension in her Pokemon releasing as they all glanced at Flix then, the young dragon taking every bit of their argument to heart. Emiri moved forward through her Pokemon to come meet the Flygon, placing a calm, gentle hand on his head as she looked back to her now silent Pokemon.
"Nothing is ever going to make our lives easy again, but if you all cared more about yourselves than each other, you wouldn't still be here," she returned, stating what they all knew, but what they all needed to hear. They had all been there that day that Azuran had made the decision to leave because of everything that had happened in their travels, but even the one who left had come back after all, because he wasn't just part of a team, he was part of a family, their family together. Emiri's Pokemon were silent at her words, sometimes forgetting just how much she had grown in the years that they had been traveling despite the trouble she had with coping with things, but they all needed each other in order to cope and in order to push on in their lives.
"It was always up to Nimbus and Cerian whether or not they wanted to come with us, and they both made their choice. They're a part of the family now, and we're going to treat them like family," Emiri said to make her point, the one thing that Zaron had said that made her realize that she couldn't make a choice for someone else, especially if they had already made theirs.
"But Emiri... I'm grown, and so is Cerian... This is a baby, he can't take care of himself yet," Nimbus returned, his voice kinder and more gentle again as he moved forward on his tail, looking at Emiri with his round blue eyes, glancing down to the baby that trembled still in her arms.
"There's a human saying, that it takes a village to raise a child," came Zaron's voice among them, having stayed quiet in this discussion until now, because he already knew how Emiri felt about the situation. She had such a big heart, she wouldn't want to abandon the baby, she had never abandoned any one of them no matter what happened, and he knew that kindness was going to carry over into this new life that she held in her arms.
"Emiri... We can't take care of a baby...," Charizard commented softly, but she knew too that it would be wrong to give up the baby and just hope for the best, and she had a feeling they all knew that was what it was going to come to.
"I think we have to try. None of us would have made it very far in life were it not for this family. We didn't turn our backs on each other, so we can't start with this young child," Azuran commented as he moved forward, towering over most of them in his hunched state as he glanced down to the small baby that Emiri held in her arms. Emiri looked around at her Pokemon, and she could see a sort of agreement coming over them, but there was one opinion that she wanted to take into consideration the most since he had taken charge of the egg and fought for the mother, turning to look at Kovu whom had gotten caught up in the heat of the argument just like the rest of them.
"Kovu," Emiri asked gently, her voice gaining his attention immediately as his ears perked at the sound of his name, and he turned with his large green eyes, now fuller and less aggressive, looking at her intently now as she turned to face him.

"Emiri, some of the humans were saying they had to leave this place, that means we have to go too right," Nimbus asked, having found an opportune time in the conversation to bring up some of the things that he had heard while they had waited inside the Pokemon Center. Some of the humans were talking about the gates closing soon, and how no one else but those who work at the reserve would be allowed on the grounds after it was closed to the public again, and he didn't want them to get in any kind of trouble.
"That's right, we saw a lot of those flying machines leaving throughout the day, and there aren't as many humans here now," Azuran commented, remembering they had followed the helicopter to the reserve to begin with, and those were the main way that trainers and other humans were coming to this place from other parts of the world.
"Well what does that mean? Where are we supposed to go," Flareon questioned, confused now as to where it was they were supposed to go. They had spent the last few weeks, over a month even, at Marcellus' home after what they had experienced, and even then they had only gone anywhere at Marcellus' suggestion like to Sootopolis or out to Saffron City. Now that they had parted ways and they were supposed to leave this place, they didn't have anywhere to go.
"Do we go back to Mossdeep City," Blastoise asked, stating what could be the obvious, or more aptly the safe choice for them to decide on in where to go in the world. While Emiri did love Marcellus like the sibling she never had, and thoroughly enjoyed her time around his home among his Pokemon and her own, she felt as though she was finished with staying in one place for too long and hiding in her recovery. There were still some festering wounds and tender scars among them all, but it was in her most basic nature to see the world and travel and she couldn't ignore that. It wouldn't do them any good to continue to mill about in the same place doing to the same things day in and out, not when she did actually want to try to get back into the world that they had been hiding from. There was always going to be danger and the threats that hung over them might never leave, but she was understanding that as long as they had each other and were together, they could over come just about anything, she didn't want to be afraid any more, especially for their sake.
"I know Marcellus would let us, even if he might not be there... But I don't think we need to go back to Mossdeep," Emiri replied after a moment, turning to look towards her Pokemon then whom had gathered around her at her words.
"I think we need to spend some time away from a hiding place and try to figure things out again. It's been a long time since we've been on our own," she continued, only hoping though that her Pokemon would share the same sentiment in wanting to get back into the world.
"I think you're right Emiri. We should spend some more time to ourselves again and start to work things out," Rhydon agreed, having felt like he was losing touch with the hard work they had put in in their training and everything that they had worked for in just laying around Marcellus' home as though they were trying to forget the rest of the world.
"Well that's great, but where are we actually going, huh," Lynno remarked, wanting a solid answer as to where it was they were going to be leaving to if they were in such a hurry to get out of this place now. They all thought for a moment, having been all over the world but not knowing where in the world they could settle on to travel to, if only for the time being.
"Why don't we go back to Kanto? We know the region well, and some of us still need to get some air under our wings," Charizard digressed, glancing with empathy towards Kovu who turned to look at his own wings, knowing he still needed the work.
"I'm good with whatever boss says," Flareon returned first, looking up to Charizard at her mention and then back towards Emiri to get the final okay.
"The flight back would be a good warm up for some real practice," Lynno commented.
"And I could stand to try some more training against some stronger opponents," Blastoise said, still feeling a bit more confident when he had taken on that trainer's team just by himself.
"I think it's settled then," Zaron stated, hovering above the group of Pokemon as he looked down to Emiri who was looking down at the baby in her arms. It seemed all the excitement of being introduced to her Pokemon and hatching just minutes before had gotten the better of him, and he was starting to fall asleep as his eyes grew heavy and his body more limp.
"I'm coming with you guys too, right," Nimbus asked, glancing at Emiri who offered a soft smile.
"Of course Nimbus, we would love to have you," Emiri answered, moving towards him with the baby in her arms.
"I know you can take good care of the baby, would you let him fly with you on his tail so he can fall asleep," she asked of the Raichu, knowing Nimbus' tail would be one of the safest places for it to be as they began to travel back to the other side of the world.
"Yeah, he should be able to sleep fine," the Raichu agreed, moving up on his tail as Emiri moved slightly, taking the Chifaera gently in her arms as she set him down on the soft surface of Nimbus' tail. She knew that he wouldn't fall off at all, despite how he might move, and it would be the smoothest way for them to take him across the world in order for him to rest and sleep like he needed to. The Chifaera gave a yawn with a twitch of one ear, but his golden eyes were closed as his head slowly lulled down into his folded arms, starting to fall asleep.
"The flight back will be a long one, we'll split it up. We'll go until it gets dark, and then rest for the night to make it to Kanto by tomorrow," Emiri commented for her Pokemon to hear, and one by one she said her short goodbyes to the Pokemon that wouldn't be able to make the flight like Venusaur, Rhydon, Flareon, and Blastoise, and made sure that Flix would want to try to make the flight before offering to let him inside his Pokeball. The young dragon persisted though, and Emiri thought it would be good practice for him to try to come along with the rest of them. She made sure Charizard was feeling alright, but wasn't sure if she would be able to make the flight for the rest of the afternoon, but she at least wanted to try, and wanted to see if she could get as far as she wanted. That left Kovu then who's flight was still on the rocks, but he knew it was for the best that he wait to work on his flying until they were back in the Kanto Region. With Charizard, Azuran, Flix, Lynno, Salamence, and Nimbus ready to go, Emiri mounted Salamence to begin the long flight back across the world.
