Elizabeth Morgan Liz was surprised to find Julian's Typhlosion out when she came back to her friend. She promptly collapsed onto the floor beside the big, huggable furnace and leaned back against him while Julian changed. "Mmm, Typhlosion, you're the best." She mumbled to herself, reaching back to pat the big Badger Pokemon's fur as he lay there. Liz cracked one eye open as Julian's return interrupted the light from the ceiling. "Hmm? B'aawww. But I'm not even--tired.." She protested even as a yawn broke the declarative lie she told. It wouldn't take much to coax her out of the idea that he wanted to stay awake. Unlike Julian, Liz hadn't slept a wink. She had managed to doze off for a while during the flight, but the cold air and moving Pidgeot made staying asleep impossible. Not that Pidgeot didn't seem to try for her. He was a good Pokemon. Julian was a good trainer, and a good person. She smiled up at the young man in her half-asleep stupor, admiring him quietly and forgetting to hope Noctowl wouldn't share anything about the way she thought he was handsome. Once Julian convinced Liz it definitely was time for bed, Liz made lazy grabby hands for her partner to get help up. After that, it was just a brief argument with the Nurse Joy there to find they had no rooms like a regular Pokemon Center with the campground right outside. Whoops. Liz looked perturbed and glanced at her partner. "I...have a tent. We could share." She offered, unsure if Julian had a tent of his own. Or even if she was making the right call. The tent was not intended for multiple occupants. It would only put the pair closer together when they tried to get some sleep in the single person place. Julian wasn't sure about the idea, but wasn't going to say anything to her about his misgivings. They had shared a room before, but sharing a one-person tent was quite a different story entirely. He looked around, realizing the Nurse had gone off to do some Nurse-ly duties, leaving the pair of them alone to warm up around Typhlosion's fire. "I'll go check out the cabins." He offered, rising from his seat and walking out of the building.
He returned about ten minutes later. "Since it's so late, there's nobody there to register us a cabin. Apparently the helicopters aren't even running for the rest of the night. The one we followed was the last one." He'd checked a chart left out that told Trainers ready to leave what time the helicopters would be showing up. "It looks like we'll be needing that tent after all." When they went outside, he helped her pitch the small bit of canvas and was privately thinking that it was smaller even than he had expected.

Elizabeth Morgan Liz smiled at the way Julian looked uneasy. Honestly she should have been the one to care about sleeping with a guy that close to her. On principle of decency alone, nevermind her sensitivities about her body and her scars. Right now, though, Liz wanted to sleep and be warm and she couldn't achieve that in a tent with just Cherry and Lucky. Her new Seel, maybe, could help but she wasn't thinking about her latest acquisition too well.
While Julian was out pursuing the cabin option, Liz found her way to an empty camp space and showed her Johto ID to a park ranger so they knew she wasn't just a vagrant or trespasser. She was halfway finished pitching her little tent when Julian came back. The redhead turned to look over her shoulder with a sleepy smile at her friend and waved off his apology. "I said I have a tent." She declared matter-of-factly, as if the tent existing was even the issue in the first place. With Julian's help the tent was finished and anchored just a couple of minutes later with Liz now curled up in the center of the tent. Any thoughts Julian may have had about slipping away to a potentially more comfortable sleeping arrangement would be quashed when Liz came out of the tent like some kind of zombie leaping from darkness to attack a hapless passerby. Latching onto Julian's shoulders with both arms, the redhead hauled back and fell together with her companion into the tent and on her sleeping bag. It was still chilly, and they should have bundled up, but Liz was out the moment Julian's head hit her chest. She snoozed peacefully with shivering episodes in between. Going almost two full days without rest had really taken it out of the woman. Now there was no waking her until sleep was had.
When Liz came to, she felt chilly. Her sleeping bag was dd haphazardly over her, something Julian had done no doubt to help her stay warm as she slept. The boy in question was nowhere to be found and her tent had fallen over on her head in the night. She had knocked it down, to be exact, when she grabbed onto the deaf-mute. Now Liz was by herself and had to go out and explore this strange new world full of different Pokemon. She wanted to find Julian, but being alone with her thoughts made Liz realize that this was her chance to show him she was a good trainer too! Once they made it to the cabin Marcellus rented, Cabin Two, he unlocked the doors and began inside with his Pokemon following him in. There were quite a few beds in the cabin, mainly because it was built to house multiple people, but Marcellus wanted to be able to have the cabin to himself and his Pokemon if he so chose, so he didn't mind chipping in a bit extra. It was for a good cause after all. "Alright, everyone can settle in, and choose where you want to sleep." Marcellus in formed the group of Pokemon. The cabin was rather basic, but still nice. It wasn't a place Marcellus would usually stay in, but it was a nice vacation place at least. The walls were wooden, with many windows viewing out at the camps surrounding them. There was a large open area in the middle of the cabin if they wanted to group together, but the walls had a few bunk beds for options, with one larger bed towards the back of the cabin. Marcellus made his way to the back of the cabin, and sat on the large bed and began to get comfortable, removing his boots as well as his vest. Novu ran over and began to help himself onto the bed. There were plenty of beds, enough for novu to sleep in, but Novu preferred to sleep with Marcellus as he usually did. Marcellus let out Salem, knowing he and Josette usually slept together as they began to pick and choose. Ryer curled up in one of the lower bunks towards the cabin center, while Josette, Angelique and Salem began to climb into the bunk closet to Marcellus' bed. "I want the top bunk. It's above the other bed, and that's where I belong. Above you." Angelique argued with her hands on her hips, at the the best she could, narrowing her eyes at Josette. Josette didn't bat an eye, she smiled lightly as she moved to climb onto the lower bunch, with Salem at her side, disappointed that he actually had to walk. "Okay, you can have it." She said simply. Angelique nodded with a huff and began over to the ladder as she began to slowly, but surely, climb her way up the ladder, which for her was about a 15 minute climb. Josette smiled as she began back towards the center of the room. After getting comfortable, Marcellus moved to the center of the room as well. He sat down, with a glance to Cronus, a hot plate appeared with a pan. He was going to start just cooking what ever came to mind, but his eyes fell on the Pon. "Now... What do you usually eat?" Marcellus asked him. He wasn't sure what kind of food a Pon would eat... was it a Herbivore maybe? "I'll eat anything the family can find or catch." Pon answered, though Marcellus could only hear it's usual whines. Marcellus looked to Cronus for a translation. "Fruits, and vegetables would be the best bet. Anything Soft will do I think. " Cronus answered, and Marcellus thought for a moment. He tied his shoulder length hair back in a low ponytail just to keep it out of the way. "Hmmm... I suppose Ramen would do the trick." Marcellus replied, thinking for a moment for what food would be good for himself as well as all of his Pokemon. However Angelique wanted something else. "I want sweets for dinner!" She demanded from atop her bunk bed, high above the forming group around the hot plate, but they easily ignored her. "Would you mind-" Marcellus began to request, looking to Cronus. He was interrupted with his answer as a mini kitchen of utensils, ingredients, and bowls appeared. "-Oh, well, thank you." Marcellus finished. He began to pour the broth into the pan as it began to heat up to boil it. He began to ready the noodles, knowing his Pokemon would eat as much as he could cook. Namingly Ryer. Marcellus pulled out a chopping board and began to chop dried mushrooms as the broth heated up. He didn't wait for it to boil, and brushed the sliced mushrooms into the broth. He reached into one of the jars and got a nice handful of ginger and began to sprinkle it into the broth as well. He gently stirred the small mix and then put a lid onto the pot. He leaned over and began to run his hand over the greens he had laid out at his disposal, and seemed to think for a moment. His hand drifted over them as he began to think, his fingers waved back and forth as he thought of the right choice. He ended up selecting the Bok Choy and began to slice ends off with a knife, but then just began to rip the stock into pieces with his hands, and set them aside when he was done. He then reached over for a few radishes for color, and began to slice the little red delights into small pieces. "Ahh, food of the gods." He spoke absentmindedly as he usually did when he cooked, usually spouting off useless trivia about the foods he was using. He began to sprinkle in the stems, and radish slices as he began to add the noodles to the broth. He started to add a scoop of miso, a bit of soy sauce, as even less of sesame oil, and let the noodles soak up the flavors, as he stirred it together. He soon turned off the heat as the large mix began to come together. After it stopped boiling, he added the Bok Choy leaves and gave it one last stir, and he was done.
Marcellus began to portion off the bowls based off the size of the consuming Pokemon, and gave each a nice helping of noodles and broth. Giving the most to Ryer, and then a bit smaller helpings to himself and Cronus, then Pon, Josette, Angelique, Novu, and Salem. Ryer began to dig in as if he were starving, as Marcellus gave Angelique her bowl on her bed alone, and then gave Pon his bowl as he looked delighted. Cronus took his and disappeared off to enjoy his food alone, which Marcellus assumed he would be gone for the night. He then sat down with his bowl and began to eat, with Novu's on the floor next to him. It was a rather good option to go with, it was healthy, but easy to eat and digest. It was something very neutral, something all of his Pokemon could easily eat, and with the diverse group, it wasn't easy to cook for everyone. He often had to make multiple foods for his Pokemon with Hera and Josette at his side. His fish had their own set of needs and food pyramid, while those that resided in the garden, but those in the air also had different needs, as well as himself and those in the house. Cronus often had to help select what was best to eat, especially when Emiri was around. Marcellus and his Pokemon often enjoy a more luxurious set of foods, while Emiri and her Pokemon were much more healthy, not to mention Emiri was a vegetarian which Marcellus never seemed to remember. After dinner, Marcellus and his Pokemon retired into their beds. Marcellus slept in his larger bed at the head of the cabin, with Novu. Josette slept in her own bed, in the bunk under Angelique, who only got a small portion of Ramen because he refused to come and get it herself. Salem of course appeared in Josette's bunk and curled up with her as he did every night. Ryer curled up in his own bed. The one he had at home was much bigger and comfier, which he wished he was in now, but he suffered and slept in this one, with his wings and tail hanging over the sides. Cronus never returned for the night as Marcellus assumed, while Pon chose the bed closest to the door so he could protect everyone. He stayed up most of the night, while everyone slept, but soon the call of sleep was too much and he was out.
The next morning Marcellus woke up, and got out of bed. He could see Cronus levitating on the far side of the room meditating, happy to see he had returned. Marcellus got dressed, a bit more lightly dressed then the day before, which was usually unheard of for Marcellus, who was almost always in a fancy jacket, vest, puffy shirt, with boots and slacks. But today, he was wearing a rather thin white button up shirt, along with a light beige pants, with boots. "Good morning everyone" Marcellus chimed out, which woke most everyone, causing them to stir a bit. He was ready to start breakfast but found little bags on the table. "Hera said she made us breakfast. She said her and Jacqueline couldn't help themselves after a long night of gossip." Cronus explained. Marcellus nodded with a proud look, saving him time. He turned back to find Pon wide awake standing behind him, taking him a back slightly, but then looked to Novu and Josette waking up clearly groggy. Novu slowly made his way to Marcellus as Josette and Angelique moved even slower, while Salem and Ryer didn't move. "Comeon everyone, we need to get moving. We're headed to the beach today." Marcellus told them, which caught Salem's and Ryer's attention. Salem wanted the sunlight to relax in, while Ryer wanted all the space to run around in and sunbath as well. Skylar headed back yet again to the entrance of the Reserve where the battle with the gallade seemed to prove a bit more powerful. Skylar took a short cut this time thinking it would be faster. With his pokemon in their poke balls he ran down a slanted road the caused him to tumble into a nearby river. He swam to shore and upon getting out, something was wriggling in his shirt. It started to tickle causing him to laugh aloud but after lifting his shirt up a Feebas dropped out of his shirt. He inspected the pokemon and upon obtaining its data he made sure it was unharmed before tossing a poke ball at it. He couldn't walk with a fish in his arms and he wanted nurse joy to check if it was ok so then he headed ti the Pokemon Center. It took nearly 10 minutes and all the pokemon were fully healed. After nearly losing a battle to a couple of Pokemon that caused some trouble, the Roselia caused a lot of problems along with the Dragonair, Luckily when Skylar needed it the most, the Arcanine was able to listen to the heart of the trainer and help out when he needed it. Maybe the Arcanine was starting to slowly respect him. As for now he had to go and heal up his Pokemon. He went into the Pokemon center where he put the capsules on a tray to be healed. Nurse Joy took them to heal them up. He decided to take it slow for a bit and just meet up with Rhienne. He felt bad about always being almost beat and always having to come heal up leaving her. Once his Pokemon were healed he headed to a computer where he can organize his party. He decided to take Chikorita, Ponyta, Dragonair, Amaura, Arcanine and Espeon. That meant sending the Umbreon and Feebas to the Storage System. After sorting that out he headed out yet again to the Reserve. Backpack*Items: Pokeballs X, Potions X

It was larger than she would have imagined though, even larger than some Pokemon Centers she had seen in major cities around the world, and it must have been because this place became so popular over the years. She was sure that there were multiple sources of funding for this reserve to keep it up and running, and with so many trainers and Pokemon coming through its doors, it would make sense that a larger facility would be necessary to tend to them all. There were many trainers in the center, though not all of them were being tended to, others were sitting and talking or gathering around a television to watch something or other, and at the front desk there was one nurse available it seemed who wasn't already presently helping someone. Emiri hesitantly walked up towards the front desk with the egg clutched close in her arms as she made eye contact with the nurse whom looked at her with a smile.
"Good evening, how can we help you today," she greeted warmly as Emiri came to stand at the other side of the desk.
"My Pokemon found this egg today, and I guess I was wondering what you could tell me about it? I want to make sure that its still healthy while we're looking for the mother," Emiri replied after a moment, wondering how best to explain the situation, and always just a tad bit nervous around people who are unfamiliar to her, especially without any of her Pokemon around for comfort and confidence. Your Pokemon should have left it where they found it, I'm sure the parents would have returned," the nurse questioned, knowing that it was common for eggs to be on the reserve as many Pokemon did use this as a safe place to breed or raise their young, but she couldn't recall anyone bringing in one of the eggs that they had found and taking it from its nest or parents. Emiri hesitated though, feeling like she was being scorned for what had happened, holding the egg closely to her.
"That wasn't an option, my Pokemon made the right decision bringing it to me, but now I just want to make sure that its healthy," Emiri tried to argue back, knowing she knew better in this situation since the nurse didn't know the circumstances in which the egg had been brought to Emiri. The nurse couldn't say that Emiri couldn't take the egg, during this time trainers were welcome to make captures on the reserve to help with population control, but why was she looking for the mother of the egg if she had intended on taking it? The whole situation was a little confusing, but the nurse decided it was just best to do her job. The nurse was growing more confused about the young girl's odd behavior, but she figured it would be best to treat the situation gently and delicately.
"I promise I'll take care of it," she tried to reason, holding out her open hands still over the counter.
"And you'll give it back," Emiri asked, knowing that she needed to have the egg in case one of her Pokemon found the mother.
"Yes, I'll bring it right back after I'm finished," the nurse said evenly, trying to keep her voice calm and her tone soft as she tried to get the egg from this girl. Emiri hesitated still, but knew that she needed to know as much about this egg as she could, so she carefully reached the egg with her hands over the counter to give to the nurse who took it gently in her hands. Emiri remained there for just a moment as the egg left her hands, and already she felt a sense of loss as she had let it go, but she knew that she would get it back as soon as the nurse was finished. She couldn't understand why either she was feeling such a sense of responsibility and protection over the egg at the very moment she'd let it go, but she knew she was going to have to get over that when they found the mother and she was to return the egg to her. The nurse gave a small smile, despite however confused she was about her interaction with the young girl as she took the egg and disappeared behind the counter to run some tests and examinations on the egg. Emiri stood there for a moment longer, having watched the nurse go, but moved to sit down on a nearby bench to wait for the nurse to return. Pokemon that were new to their trainers and wondering why they were captured from the reserve, Pokemon that had come here with their trainers to get stronger and work together, she heard things and could tell things about Pokemon that very few could interpret, and she found more comfort in the Pokemon that she was surrounded by than the people. She wasn't left alone for much longer though as the nurse had returned and Emiri looked in the direction of the counter as the nurse had called for her softly. Emiri moved to the counter immediately as she reached over the surface for the egg to take it back in her arms, and the nurse tried to smile still through Emiri's lack of social normality as she handed Emiri the egg.
"The egg is aboslutely healthy, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it in its development. The embryo inside is fully developed though, so the egg could hatch any day now, or even any moment, so you'll want to be prepared for that if you still have the egg when it hatches," the nurse began as she gave Emiri the small bit of information that she had deduced about the egg. Emiri's eyes grew a bit wide though at the notion that the egg could be ready to hatch at what could be any moment, looking down to the surface of the shell that she held close in her arms. The egg couldn't hatch, not until they found the mother. That only meant that they would have to try their very hardest to find her in time if she was still out there. She knew though still that not knowing what kind of Pokemon it was wasn't going to help them at all as she looked up to the nurse. "No, unfortunately it is too late in the egg's development to take DNA without harming the shell. From the x-rays that I ran though, and the ultra sound to make sure that the embryo was developing, I was only able to discern that it is of the dragon species," the nurse answered as she situated the papers on the desk.

Charizard looked at the egg with surprise at Emiri's words, knowing that if the egg hatched, they would have an even harder time returning the baby to its mother.
"Do we know what kind of Pokemon it is," Charizard asked after a moment.

"I know, but we have to try. She could still be out there," Emiri said as she moved to Charizard's side and threw a leg over Charizard's neck to mount her at the base of her shoulders. The Helicopter landed, and Kira entered the Leafstone Nature Reserve with excitement flooding every inch of her body. This was it, the next great adventure! She wasn't going to be caught off guard here though. If there was any funny business, anything at all, she would spot it at once! The blades slowed, and her hair continued to whip around her face as she approached the Registry Table. "Oh, hello there! A middle-aged Woman said with a smile. "Just in from Kanto. Please sign here." She pointed at a piece of paper already containing numerous names. How had she known where Kira was from? Unless... it makes sense, now that she thought about it, the helicopter was probably on a schedule.
Kira signed the paper with a loopy signature and walked off in the direction of the Reserve. The Entrance and Campgrounds seemed to be in the middle of a forest, possibly to give Trainers an authentic camping experience. However, she could see a long stretch of sunlight just past the Pokemon Center. She took a mental note of the Center's location just in case, and made for the light.

This time, Kira wasn't going to deplete her stores of Potions. She would have to run back to the Pokemon Center. Unfortunately, she didn't remember exactly how to get back there. It took a whole five minutes of active jogging for her to find a familiar landmark. Eventually, however, she made her way back. The Nurse was happy to accept her Pokemon and check them in the back. She was relaxing with Lucy by her side when someone else came in. She looked up to see who had sent the door-chime off and smiled.
It was another Trainer. A young girl, like herself, who was back to have her Pokemon healed after a lengthy adventure in the Nature Reserve. Kira got up to her feet and approached. "Hey, you're a Trainer right? Would you like to battle?" It was a simple question, but she knew how annoying it could be if the other person wasn't in the mood. Fortunately, the other girl seemed just as interested in a battle as Kira was. She nodded, with an 'alright, then'. Once they had both received their Pokemon all rested and ready, they met up outside at the battle-field etched into the very earth outside the Center.

Something came flying through the smoke, a claw attached to a line. It caught Lucy around the throat and began retracting, pulling her off of her feet. She went sliding towards the forest and out of Kira's sight. "No!" She yelled in a fury. Her hands moved instinctively, almost separately from her own thoughts. Charizard and Aerodactyl appeared, screeching and roaring, trying to be louder than the other. It was unlike her Charizard, but together they beat massive wings that cleared the smoke from the air.
"Help her!" She ordered, and Charizard started forward. Unfortunately, Aerodactyl wanted to be better than Charizard, so he attacked the starter. The duo began to fight one another, flying high into the air and trying to hurt the other. "No, stop, STOP!" She screamed in anger to a degree she'd never expressed around her Pokemon before. Lucy was being dragged into the forest, and every second mattered.

"What are you going to do, half of your team can't stop me." So, she had seen Charizard and Aerodactyl abandon her. Anticipating each other's move, both Trainers threw out a Pokeball. On one end, a Ghastly hovered under the moonlight. On Kira's end, Noibat flapped her membranous wings. They attacked at the same time, Ghastly with Night Shade and Noibat with Psychic. They fired continuous Night Shade and Psychic attacks at each other, the blasts hitting each other in mid-air.
The attacks connected, and a strange pulsing light was pulsing at the center. At first it started towards Noibat, who started to panic and upped her power until it slowed, stopped, and reversed the other way. It hit Ghastly, and the damage from both attacks detonated in it's face. Noibat fluttered slowly to the ground. She looked weak; she'd beaten one Pokemon but Kira knew she couldn't stand up to another.

Trapinch snapped it's jaws, and glared. Unfortunately, a Water Pulse attack washed away Trapinch. Demeter could recall being to the Kalos region before, on one of her various missions, and being relatively close too for when she had lived in Unova, but they weren't necessarily going to the Kalos Region so much as they were going to the wilderness that spanned out around it. This place was supposed to span on for miles in any direction, giving way to one of the largest places where so many different species of wild Pokemon can be found in one place, and Demeter rather wondered what she would find out there, at least hoping some of the Pokemon would pose a challenge for some head on training.
It had taken a few hours, but the helicopter made motion for its descent, and Loki and Demeter were unbuckling themselves before they knew it as the engine of the helicopter had died down. It seemed that this place was very popular for this fact, they had an entire section of landing pads and even a small run way or two laid out for all of the aircrafts that were coming in and out, so their particular helicopter was only one of many that had made a stop to this place. Walking away from the landing site, Demeter and Loki were greeted with the sight of cabins and a few scattered buildings that made up the main of the facilities that ran this reserve, and it was good to know that there were at least some accomodations so she wouldn't have to spend her time pitching a tent. Demeter was tough and she had faired in the wilderness well in many of her missions, but if it was her choice, she would always have a bed to sleep in rather than a sleeping bag, or just the ground itself. The group of trainers that had come on the aircraft as well were all heading towards the main building, where attached to it was a Pokemon Center, and it seemed they had to register to let the reserve know they were there. Demeter was happy to oblige, knowing her pokedex was registered for Vanessa Montrel, and within minutes she was registered and ready to see what this place had to offer.
