Aside from the Galar League Season and the incredible phenomena known as Dynamax that is specific to the region, Galar is famous for its vast expanses of natural landscapes in between its major routes and cities. Each of these mapped areas span for miles and miles in each direction, providing a unique environment to the Pokemon that call this giant expanse home. Ranging from giant forests to sprawling fields of grass, to lakes and small islands or enormous cliff faces and dusty rocks, there are so many different kinds of environments and so many different kinds of Pokemon that can be found in the Galar Region, that it has become a true marvel.

Moving south from the very tip of the Galar Region, getting ready to plan her route to head East all the way back towards the Hoenn region and onward, Emiri and her Pokemon were encountered by an incredibly unique flying type that she had had yet to encounter. She had seen, in the far distance, other flying type Pokemon that existed in the galar region, some familiar to her and some not, but even this one that they happened upon did not look anything like she had seen before. He was large, very large, almost the size of Lynno in his new form, and had white feathers with striking black armor it seemed plated on his chest, shoulders, and a crest over his eyes and beak. There was a shimmering, gleaming gold that coated the tips of his tail feathers, and his wings, and his talons seemed to be plated with armor much in the same way as his chest and shoulders, but with the same shimmering gold. It turned out that he was a species called Corviknight that was indegenous to the Galar Region, and much as Emiri found him rather fascinating, he too seemed intrigued by the flying type armada that this young human had traveling with her. Maybe they were naturally a competitive species, looking to keep their territory secure, but he wasn’t aggressive really, even as he chose to engage in battle with Lynno whom gladly took the opportunity to show off his strength against another bird. He fought valiantly, as Emiri might have expected, he was certainly a force to be reckoned with, but Lynno did come out on top in the end after proving his experience and power to be greater. The Corviknight’s name was Sir Galahad, and in being defeated by such a formidable adversary like Lynno, he was interested in coming with Emiri and her team to better himself and become that much stronger. Emiri was delighted at the idea, finding him to be very interesting as a species that she had never encountered before, and she definitely wanted to learn more. So it was, with a new Pokeball in hand, Emiri returned most of her Pokemon now so that they might begin the long flight back towards the east towards the Hoenn Region.

Almost as soon as Church entered the wild zone he was nearly blindsided by a Razor Leaf. He skidded on his bike and with a shout was thrown off the bike, crashing to the ground a few feet away.
"What the FUCK!" Church was furious as he pushed himself to his knees, catching his breath as he glanced around to find the source of the attack. He ignored the stinging of his knees, knowing already that although his leather jacket had saved his elbows, his knees were less fortunate. He stood up and brushed the gravel from his bloody knees before facing what appeared to be an angry Roserade. With a snarl he faced it and took out a pokeball. This pokemon was about to know a world of hurt.

As he watched the Roserade flee for it's life Church growled and dusted himself off. He didn't know what that pokemon's problem had been but it had felt good beating it regardless. He was about to get back on his bike when he noticed a floating pokemon out of the corner of his eye. Perfect, a dark type. Immediately he dropped the bike and approached it, taking out Zara's pokeball with a dark smile. This pokemon was coming with him whether it wanted to or not. For a moment the wild pokemon didn't notice him, but as he neared it the little Inkay turned to him with a sound of surprise. It seemed more curious than fearful.

As Church picked up the pokeball containing his new Inkey he smirked and put it on his belt. That was one dark-type down, but he would need more before he even thought of taking on Alistar. He pulled his bike back up and got on it with a cringe, his knees stinging badly as he pushed off and continued on towards the Lake of rage. The pain only made him more irritable as he rode down the road and soon he could feel a rage building in his chest. Ironic really, considering where he was headed. Hopefully there would be even more dark types to find up ahead.

Church picked up speed on his bike as the grand city of Hammerlocke came into view on the horizon. At least this time the way seemed to be clear of any angry pokemon as he headed up the path towards the gates. Unlike last time when he was ambushed by a bitchy Roserade and knocked off his bike. His knees were still fucked from the encounter but compared to the chill in his bones it barely registered in his mind. All he knew was he would be glad to get out of this stupid Wild zone and it's crazy weather. If he ended up getting a cold over this he was going to loose his shit.

As soon as Church entered the wild zone everything went to hell. Sand whipped into his face and made his eyes sting as he tried to bike along the path, however after a few moments he was forced to stop and stash his bike away. Here would have to do, he didn't want to go too far from the city gates in this kind of weather. He was here for one thing and one thing only, a Drillbur. Of the pokemon he had looked up that one seemed the easiest steel-type to get his hands on and in this weather he was sure to find one. It took him a good hour in the blistering sand before he finally spotted a Drillbur attempting to move a rock, and at once he confronted it.

With his new Drilbur safely tucked away on his belt, Church got his bike and pushed off back towards Hammerlocke. A part of him wanted to search around for some more pokemon, but with the sandstorm raging in the area that was just not possible. Already he could feel sand in places it had no business being in. The uncomfortable feeling was putting him in a bad mood, besides, he had decided on Slate's fate. With more strong pokemon he had no use for the weak Arcanine, why wait until it failed him again? With a smirk he biked off towards Hammerlocke.

Church rode along down the path in a rather bad mood. Now that the weather had cleared he wanted to head back to the lake of outrage to try and find one of the Corviknights he had seen there before. Last time he had run into what felt like a dozen of them, so he was hopeful that it would be easy to find one once again. It was going to take quite a lot of training to shift his team to one that could deal with Fairy types, after all it was the weakness of most of his pokemon. Perhaps he favored Dragon types too much, but he couldn't fix that now. His next hurtle would probably be the hardest besides the dragon gym. But with any luck he would find himself some good pokemon out here to help. He tried to remain positive as he headed onward to Giant's cap.

By now he was wet and moodier than a Gyarados with a grim expression playing across his features. Today had started out so nice, but now he felt like shit. As he neared he realized it wasn't a dark type as he had hoped, but rather a Klink seemingly playing some kind of game involving floating in circles. He watched the pokemon for a few moments in confusion before shaking his head and withdrawing a pokeball. It might not be dark but it could still be valuable experience. With a low whistle to get the wild pokemon's attention and show his intent, Grim held out the pokeball in his hand and released Moc for battle.

Grim watched the Klink flee for a few moments before turning and heading deeper into the wild zone. In his head he listed out the next gym's pokemon, which he had learned thanks to a kind man on the train. Yamask, Mimikyu, Cursola, and Gengar. They were all very troublesome pokemon, well... besides Mimikyu. He knew a good pokemon to combat that one if he could just find it. The Gengar would be the biggest hurtle, and not only because it could Gigamax. He bit his lip as he walked and thought about what pokemon might be able to help him, turning towards Giant's Mirror.

Grim gazed around at the vast hills as he headed towards the large shadow that was Hammerlocke. During his time out in the wild zone the sky had gone from blaringly hot to overcast alarmingly fast. So much so that he wanted to leave before the clouds threatened to break. The last thing he needed right now was to be caught out in a storm. Picking up his pace Grim headed through the grand gates and into Hammerlocke.

Church flew down the path leading through hammerlocke hills, his eyes open for any pokemon that might be of use to him. It didn't take him too long before he finally came upon a useful one, a Machoke. It stood from where it had been sitting the moment Church drew near, alert but not necessarily aggressive. Church, however, was very aggressive and without warning tossed out Vine to take it down.

Church smirked and snatched up the pokeball from the ground before it even stopped shaking.
"Well done." Was all he said to Vine before healing and returning the Malamar back to it's pokeball. He returned to his bike and took a look at the map for a few moments before figuring out the direction he wanted to go. With that settled, he pushed off and headed further down the path, heading for Giant's Cap. Hopefully, the place called Bridge field on the other side of Giant's Cap might hold a good pokemon, if Giant's Cap itself didn't.

As the sky began to darken with swollen clouds, Church decided it wasn't worth it going further. He steered his bike back towards Hammerlocke and peddled hard for the city just as the few drops of rain began to patter down around him. Just my- His thought cut off as something red along the trail caught his eye. As he came closer he realized it was a pokeball, and not only that, it was a full one. He glanced around for a moment to make sure the owner of it was long gone before snatching it up and continuing on his way. Maybe he still had some luck after all.
