In order to connect the routes from Hulbury back to Motostoke to maintain an easy traveling path for anyone moving through the region, another smaller bridge was built to connect the east and the central parts of Galar, creating a sort of circle of routes and paths in the central part of the region. There are hills and rocky outcroppings that make up a bit of this landscape around the bridge, over looking the famous river that flows through the city that maintains some of the natural energy sources, making for a perfect way to keep the different parts of this region connected.

-5 RP posts are required, then roll a 12-sided dice. This will determine the Pokémon that appears. Then roll a 4-sided dice to determine level of the wild Pokémon.

Grim headed up the path with Raika by his side. The sunlight seemed bright now that they were out of the cave and Grim had to squint to see where he was going. It was sunny enough that Grim decided to release his pokemon and let them enjoy the walk back to Motostoke, however the moment he did so trouble occurred. The second Tokumei was out of her ball she turned to Grim and shot a blast of smoke at him, causing the boy to fall to his knees coughing. Moc, Leer, and Raika immediately began to growl and snap at Tokumei until it seemed a fight was inevitable. Luckily Luckett stepped between them and batted the three smaller pokemon away from Tokumei gently with his leafy tail. Tokumei seemed unbothered by her teammate's anger however and merely snorted in their direction before looking away, fuming that she hadn't been picked to battle at the last gym. How dare he, she wasn't scared of no water type!

Confused and a little put off, Grim got to his feet again and wiped his stinging eyes. He hadn't expected the attack for obvious reasons and looked at Tokumei for a few moments before sighing and merely walking off down the path. Concerned, the rest of the team followed him besides Luckett and Tokumei. The leafeon stared Tokumei down until the Charmeleon looked at him and growled, yet he was unfazed by her anger. After a few minutes of this staring Tokumei became flustered and angrily Stomped after Grim and the rest of the team. Satisfied, Luckett gave a little nod and followed.

Grim rubbed at his watering eyes and cursed as he was racked by coughs again. The blast of smoke had caught him directly in the face and left him wheezing. Being attacked by your own pokemon stung, and not knowing why hurt even more so. The only thing he could think of was that she hadn't been out recently. well, recently enough apparently. He didn't understand what the Charmeleon expected of him. Did she want him to use her against bad match ups? He trusted her, but he also didn't want to ask too much of her. A little downtrodden, Grim headed to Motostoke.

Arriving back on the outskirts of the city of Motostoke with a healthy team again, Grim headed along the trail on a mission. He needed a water or a rock type for the next gym, and he knew it was better to get one now and train it rather than get it later and pray. With Lucket by his side he headed into the tall grass and began looking about for any signs of wild pokemon. He had dropped off Tokumei and Moc at a PC along the way, deciding the two deserved a rest while the others caught up in strength. It was Luckett who found a wild pokemon first, his tail flicking over the top of the grass to catch Grim's attention. As Grim carefully moved closer he saw the Leafeon had spotted a rather large Chewtle busy breaking small rocks in it's jaws. Silently Grim took out a pokeball and suddenly released Raika who growled and prepared for battle.

lvl 19 Chewtle appeared!

Chewtle used Bite!
Raika took 50 damage!
Raika used Thunder!
Chewtle took 200 Damage!
Chewtle Fainted!
Raika gained 10 exp!

As the Chewtle collapsed, Grim took out an empty pokeball and tossed it. After a few furious shakes the pokeball stilled and with a click the capture was complete!

Grim released his new Chewtle and crouched down to examine the little turtle pokemon. It stared up at him without a sound for a few minutes before stretching it's jaws wide and letting out a little cry. Grin smiled and pet the little thing on the head for a moment before straightening up.
"Welcome to the team, boy. I think I'll name you Shade." In response to his new trainer's words Shade wagged his tiny tail enthusiastically but otherwise kept his relaxed expression. He followed Grim as the boy began to head back along the path. There was still a lot more training to do.

Grim wandered the trails looking for any sign of wild pokemon with Luckett, Raika, and Shade. Occasionally he could see signs here or there but every time to seemed to lead to a dead end. He was beginning to think the area had been cleared out before finally finding fresh signs of a pokemon. The four followed these tracks until a blue humanoid form could be seen up ahead in the grass, seemingly picking flowers. For a few moments Grim was torn about battling the pokemon who seemed to want nothing more than to pick flowers, but as he got closer he quickly realized that wasn't the case. The Sawk was ripping the flowers out angrily, and as they neared it turned to them with an angry shout.

Church made his way to the outskirts of Motostoke and began to focus on finding some new pokemon. He had his pokemon fan out for the search, deciding whoever found one first would get to battle it. He wasn't worried about type match ups, his pokemon would have to learn to overcome such weaknesses if they wanted to stay by his side. It took awhile for them to finally find a pokemon, but it was Slate that spotted it hopping among the long grass. A Hatenna. For a moment Church debated ignoring it, however he couldn't resist the idea of having a psychic type to call his own.
"Take it out, Slate."

Lvl. 18 Hatenna appeared!

Church tossed an empty pokeball as the Hatenna collapsed. However after a few vicious shakes the Hatenna reappeared with a defiant cry. Trying again, Church threw another Pokeball harder this time. Once more the ball shook viciously, but this time stilled with a click. He had captured his first psychic pokemon.

Church's team was slowly starting to fill out. He only needed two more to make it complete. He was hoping for a water type and a flying-type but finding them would be a mission. So far he wasn't having any luck with the search, and after awhile he debated trying a different area. The only problem was that he was between a city and the mines, and he couldn't see any water or flying pokemon in a mine. Though he did suppose he could try either way. As they always said back home, you never knew until you did it. It was a stupid saying but true none the less. As he walked he tried to think of a name for the new pokemon. He liked it's spirit even though he knew that it would probably become a problem later on. Screw it, he would just name it Zara. Short and simple.

With the naming out of the way, Church continued on down the path heading for the mine up ahead. Chibi, Slate, and Lilith followed close behind him, all tired but content in their adventure. Chibi and Slate both wanted a little rest, but with Lilith looming over them they dared not make a scene of it. It was no secret that Lilith respected Church and expected them to do so as well regardless of how he treated them. She was far more scarier than anything Church had done, and so they all remained quiet and obedient. What else could they do? The two shared a look before following the other two into the mines.

Grim shook his head at the pokemon's anger, wondering what had made it so angry at a bunch of flowers. He really couldn't think of a reason, and after a moment decided to push it to the back of his mind and continue on. The four made their way down the road and kept a lookout for any pokemon to fight. It was important that they trained up for their next gym. Church was nervous about taking on the strong Fire-type gymleader that was up next. His team had two grass types and only one water, with no rock or ground pokemon either. It wasn't really a good match-up. The only thing Grim seemed to have going for him was numbers. His attention was brought back to the present after a warning bark from Raika. A floating figure loomed up ahead, it's bumpy ball-like body turning to them as they approached.

He was just about to turn back to Motostoke when they finally spotted a wild pokemon, a little imp pokemon that rushed them as soon as it noticed them.

Grim hadn't expected the battle to rage on so long, it had been much stronger than it looked. Shade had tried his best though and that was what mattered. Grim turned back towards Motostroke and started heading up the road to get him healed up at the nearest pokemon center. He needed to be more careful in the future if he wanted their training to last longer per trip, that or bring some revives with him next time. Either way he needed to plan better if he wanted to support his pokemon as a proper trainer. With his head full of ideas for the future, Grim headed back to Motostoke.
