Dynamaxing is a phenomenon that has been noted to take place in the gym stadiums in the Galar Region due to an abundance of energy from Power Spots. A gym challenger and gym leader will each have the capability to have one of their Pokemon Dynamax in the course of a battle.
Each gym leader in Galar, save for Marnie in Spikemuth, has a specific Dynamax level for their Pokemon:
Milo- Lv. 1
Nessa- Lv. 2
Kabu- Lv. 3
Allister- Lv. 5
Bede- Lv. 6
Gordie- Lv. 7
Raihan- Lv. 10
- Dyanamxing will last for a maximum of three turns per battle, and can only be achieved during a battle with a gym leader
- Dynamaxing does not change the speed or level of a Pokemon in this form
- When a Pokemon is Dynamaxed, all of their attacks turn into a Max Move based on the type of each attack. All status category attacks will become Max Guard
- Max moves will do the base damage of the original attack +50 damage with type effectiveness. The category of the attack, special or physical, is dependent on the original attack
- When a Pokemon is Gigantamaxed, they will receive a specific G-Max move
- A G-Max move will do x2 the base damage of the original attack
- Every Pokemon starts at a Dynamax Level of 0. When a Pokemon is Dynamaxed, at level 0 they will gain +30 HP to their base HP. For every Dynamax Candy that a Pokemon consumes, up to Level 10, they will receive +30 HP for each level, so at Dynamax Lv. 10 the HP will be +330
- When a Pokemon that is Dynamaxed reverts back from their Dynamax form after three turns, their max HP will return to their regular HP, and their remaining HP will scale down as well. For example, if a Lv. 51 Pokemon at 400 HP goes into Dynamax, they gain +30 HP, for a total of 430. If they are at 330/430 after three turns and lose their Dynamax, they also lose the extra HP, so they will have 300/400 HP.
- When a Pokemon that is Dynamaxed or Gigantamaxed reverts back to their normal form, they will also lose their Max and G-Max moves
- Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Choice Specs, Gorilla Tactics, RKS System, and Sheer Force all lose their effects during Dynamax
- A Mega Evolved Pokemon cannot Dynamax
- A Dynamaxed or Gigantamaxed Pokemon cannot use a Z move
Each gym leader in Galar, save for Marnie in Spikemuth, has a specific Dynamax level for their Pokemon:
Milo- Lv. 1
Nessa- Lv. 2
Kabu- Lv. 3
Allister- Lv. 5
Bede- Lv. 6
Gordie- Lv. 7
Raihan- Lv. 10

The Accuracy and Evasion stats have been updated and reworked to reflect more of the chance out of a 100 scale that the games portray. Instead of a --/6 chance for accuracy or evasion to affect an attack, it will be translated into a --/10 chance. This means that lowering a Pokemon's accuracy by one stage will bring the chance to hit down to 9/10, and raising a Pokemon's evasion by one stage means that they have a 1/10 chance to dodge an attack. The below outlines what is affected by this change, and any edits have been made:

Dynamax Battles in the Wild
- A Dynamax Battle in the wild can only take place in a wild area thread
- In order to encounter a Dynamax Battle, a trainer must have at least one Wishing Piece. The requirements for different tiers of battles will be listed below
- One Trainer can participate in a Dynamax Battle with four of their own active party Pokemon out on the field at once
- Two Trainers can participate in a Dynamax Battle together with two Pokemon each out on the field
- Up to four trainers with one Pokemon each can participate in a Dynamax Battle, no NPCs are permitted to participate in a Dynamax Battle
- One trainer can Dynamax just one of their Pokemon during the course of a Dynamax Battle, and the trainer's Dynamx will last for a maximum of three turns, or until the Pokemon is knocked out. After the Dynamaxed Pokemon has reverted back, the trainer cannot Dynamax a Pokemon again
- The opposing Pokemon, known as the Raid Boss, will remain Dynamaxed through the entire battle
- The Dynamax Level HP bonuses for a trainer's Pokemon are the same for wild Dynamax battles as in gym battles
- The same guidelines and damages for Max Moves and G-Max moves also apply to the Raid Boss
- All Raid Bosses should have at least 3 damaging attacks in their moveset when encountered. This can extend from their basic level up pool if need be
- A Dynamax Battle in the wild will end if: The Raid Boss has been defeated, a maximum of ten turns of battle have progressed, or there have been four Pokemon that have fainted on the challenger's side, even if it is the same Pokemon four times
- If a Pokemon does faint during a Dynamax Battle, it will be fully revived after a full turn has passed and can be released into battle again. A trainer cannot switch Pokemon while in a Dynamax battle
- All Raid Bosses will always move first in battle
- Raid bosses cannot be captured upon defeat until a trainer has 8 consecutive gym badges or 5 consecutive ribbons. A 1 star raid boss will be caught at lv. 20, 2 stars at lv. 30, 3 stars at lv. 40, 4 stars at lv. 50, and 5 stars at lv. 60
To encounter each tier of Raid Boss, these are the requirements. Once the requirements are met, you will roll a dice determining the Raid Boss depending on the wild area you are in.

Technical Machine (TM) Update:
And finally, the last update we've made, is for the TMs in the forum. To update with all of the new TMs and TRs in the Galar Region, we have instead just created 200 TMs that are now available in the forum, there is no difference between TM and TR, and they are all still one use only. We have them split into their regular categories of Gym leaders, Area Specific, and Post Anywhere. Once they are coded with their images, they will be added and updated to the Items thread, but here is where you can find the information until then!
