Hello everyone! This is Carrie Sunita, your number one news reporter on the PNN bringing you all the latest all the time! I am here reporting to you from the Global Trade Station in Sinnoh, where I have the immense pleasure of giving you their latest announcement! A few years ago, when the Kalos region had proclaimed its inclusion with the Interregional Pokemon League, the GTS hosted an incredible global event! And this year, once again, I am happy to be a part of the very important announcement that the GTS is sponsoring another race around the world! That's right, you heard it here first on the PNN that a second Around The World In 80 Days race is getting ready to begin! This time though, it's bigger and better with the inclusion of the Alola Region and the Galar Region to the Pokemon League! I've been here getting ready for this very important broadcast all day, and I still can't believe it either!
Once again, the Pokemon Centers in every region are your target goal, Nurse Joy are getting ready with their stamps and accommodations, and the GTS is going to begin distributing your official race stamp booklets to every participating traveler! Port cities are bustling already knowing how many travelers were making the venture last time, and already I can just feel the excitement brewing about such a fantastic journey that awaits for everyone!
With even more Pokemon Centers and more locations to prepare this time, we are giving this announcement three weeks ahead of the beginning of this wonderous world wide whale of an event! A big thanks to Carrie for giving us this incredible announcement! As part of our Forum Fifth Anniversary, this is a huge, fun event that we are excited to get underway!! Here are your rules and guidelines for how this world wide race is going to go!
- You have 140 days in real world time to complete this event. There will be no time extensions. This event will begin at 12:00 midnight CST on Sunday November 1st, and will end on Sunday March 21st 2021 at 11:59pm CST
- There are 114 Pokemon Centers in total in the forum
- All normal travel rules apply. HM Fly, the bus pass, and the bike are all applicable in this event, otherwise you must follow the region maps by the connecting land routes and the train/boat routes to travel.
- However, for the duration of this event only, it will only take one post per thread in order to move to the next thread, as opposed to the normal three posts
- The HM surf is not required to travel for this event. For this event only, boats and other vehicles are waiting at ports and docks to take trainers to over seas destinations in a region. There is one location that requires Fly to travel to, Arborville in Johto. There are modes of transportation available to trainers to travel here as well
- In order to claim a stamp from a location, you must post in the correct thread, state your character visited the Pokemon center and claimed their stamp, and tag either myself or Prince, or both. If you do not tag one of us in a location, you do not get the credit for that location. You do not need to await a reply from us however to proceed to your next location
- This is not a race, there is no first, second, or third prize, or special reward for being the first to finish, and there's no requirement to finish. Travel posts have been reduced, and this event is meant to be for fun, so we are still going to use the honesty policy about not spamming posts. We will be keeping an eye out, we should not see any one word action posts or bumps, or short one liners. Warnings will be issued if necessary
- When you reach a certain amount of Pokemon Centers that give you a prize, please post in this thread to tell us which Pokemon or items or otherwise you will be choosing in order to claim them. These claims and items belong to the particular character, and cannot be placed in a floating unclaimed status
- Any and all characters can participate in this event, and the rewards are per character. Characters cannot pool stamps together to get prizes, and you cannot give prizes between characters if one has reached more stamps than another
- You will get all of the rewards from each milestone. So if you have collected 20 stamps so far, you get x2 non event hold items, x3 move teach items, x5 Pokeballs, x5 berries, and x1 full restore, and can keep going
And now for the portion that I'm sure you all are dying to see, the prizes for reaching certain numbers of Pokemon centers!

10- x5 Pokeballs of choice (non event)
15- x3 move teach items of choice
20- x2 non event hold items from the hold item section, or x2 non event contest items of choice
25- x1 Sweet Bouquet and x2 Lucky Eggs
30- x5 Rare candies or x3 Fancy Candies
35- x2 exp reset of choice to active party Pokemon
40- x1 Lv. 20 Pokemon of choice and x1 Type Boost item of choice
45- x2 Consumable Event items of choice
50- +50 exp to each active party Pokemon
55- x3 non event items of choice
60- Choice of two out of x1 Mega Stone, x1 Z Crystal, or x1 Max Mushroom and x3 non event healing items of choice
65- x3 Event Berries of choice
70- +3 levels to each active party Pokemon
75- x3 Event Items of choice
80- One Pokemon in active party gets one ability of choice (non legendary no wonderguard/imposter)
90- One Pokemon in active party gets one attack of choice no HMs
100- Lv. 50 shiny w/ full moveset of choice out of existing movepool
114- Mix Match Pokemon*

*For the final prize, for reaching 114 Pokemon Centers, we have something very special. This can only go to one character, and you can decide which character after the event is completed and you do have more than one character that has completed the race.
- You will pick out a base canon non legendary Pokemon. You can change its appearance however you like, so long as it is recognizable as the original species.
- You can then pick any one or two canon types for this new creation! If the type effectiveness is yet to be canon, get with me and I can make you your type effectiveness chart!
- You then can pick any one canon ability to give to this creation, except any legendary exclusive abilities, Imposter, or Wonderguard.
- Then finally you can pick any four canon non legendary exclusive attacks! Any four that you want, regardless of type or damage. These attacks cannot be relearned if forgotten or replaced however
- This brand new creation will be claimable at lv. 1 for your character that has completed all 114 Pokemon Centers
For any other character that does complete the race, or if you do not wish to claim the Mix Match Pokemon, you will have your choice of
- A custom Z Crystal for a claimed and introduced Pokemon of your choice
- A custom attack for a claimed and introduced Pokemon of your choice
- A custom ability for a claimed and introduced Pokemon of your choice
This event will end on Sunday March 21st 2021 at 11:59pm CST. Characters are welcome to jump in at any time!
