Happy Holidays and Merry Christmahanukwanzica, from us at Hidden Legends to you! This holiday season has been different no doubt for everyone, but the spirit of Christmas is permeating and can transcend through many barriers. Hope, joy, care, and just a little dash of magic is what can make the holiday season as special as it is, and we here at Hidden Legends hope that we can give a little bit of that Christmas Spirit back to you all! We are always incredibly humbled by the stories being told and the memories that we get to share, and as 2020 comes to a close, we want to make sure that we celebrate and give as much of that holiday magic as we can. We have some special claims from this event for you all, so Merry Christmas to everyone, and we hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday season!
The first, and incredibly magical, claim that you can make by posting in this thread is a special new mechanic, we are introducing a concept of Lucky Pokemon to Hidden Legends! This is going to be an incredibly rare claim to make, and the information is as follows:
- This claim can only be made per member, not per character. You can only declare one Pokemon as a Lucky Pokemon across all of your characters
- You must post in this thread and tell us specifically which Pokemon is going to be declared as your Lucky Pokemon. If we do not have the information in this thread, your Pokemon will not receive the benefits
- A Pokemon must be claimed and belong to a specific character, but does not need to be introduced yet. These Pokemon cannot be in a floating unclaimed status, and therefore cannot be transferred between characters before being introduced
First Benefit:
- The sprite for the Pokemon can be changed and edited at any time, without the need for a Rainbow Spray! This is up to you how this goes in actual RP, they can become color changing like a chameleon or change colors under different circumstances, however you would like to play with the aspect!
- This benefit is only in regards to recolors of a sprite, and not the physical attributes of the Pokemon. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out to myself or Prince
Second Benefit:
- A Lucky Pokemon will have your choice of Starter Obedience, OR receiving +1 extra exp per RP post
- Starter Obedience means that this specific Pokemon will obey during battle or otherwise regardless of gym badges/ribbons/ranger rank/ ect, just like a starter Pokemon received from a lab professor
- In regards to the extra exp per post: At this time, all of the items that we have that may affect posting exp have been edited to reflect an added benefit as opposed to a "multiplied' benefit to avoid any discrepancy. To elaborate on this, if a Lucky Pokemon is holding a Lucky Egg as an example, the total exp per post would be +3. This is +1 exp for making the RP post, +1 exp for being a Lucky Pokemon, and an additional +1 exp for the Lucky egg.

Poke Toy- An item to be held by one Pokemon that must be in the first active party slot. This item lasts for five days of active posting, and will break if removed from the holder before that time. All wild Pokemon in an area become uncatchable, but will appear at the level of the Pokemon holding this item. All normal wild Pokemon posting rules apply, such as expending encounter posts, or the use of items such as the White Flute or Alluring Candle.
And lastly but certainly not least, our magical Prince has made some wonderfully festive custom sprites to claim from, themed for the Ghosts of Christmas! These sprites can be claimed at lv. 15!
