As the other Trainer offered him the pokeball Script's eyes lit up and he hugged the Wooloo excitedly in perhaps the softest hug he had ever experienced. Meanwhile Stars glanced at Soda as if communicating silently and the Raichu floated away, returning a moment later holding a pokeball. Soda floated over to the other boy and gave a grin before offering the boy the pokeball containing the Lvl.3 Bunnelby to make it a fair trade. Then, Soda took the offered pokeball that belonged to the Wooloo and floated over to Script, shoving the ball onto the boy's belt with the rest of their pokeballs. He didn't really use the pokeballs and kept his team out all the time, but you never quite knew when they could be useful.
"Thank you, sir! I'll remember this~" Unknown to the other boy, he had just made a very loyal acquaintance. If they ever met again and the boy needed anything Script was sure to help!

As if realizing he had been waiting for the boat before getting distracted, Script's eyes widened and he hurried off back towards the boats.
"Thank you again!" He shouted over his shoulder as his pokemon rushed after him, the Wooloo gave a little bleat of goodbye to it's brief old trainer before hurrying after the others. As they reached the docks Script questioned the captain of a boat docked there and discovered this was indeed the boat that would take him back to Kalos. Him and his pokemon hopped aboard and watched as the Fair was swallowed into the distance. They would return one day soon before the Fair went away, but for now Script was eager to put his new idea into action. After seeing his pokemon perform he wanted to see how far they could get in the contests! It was the showman life for him!

Church arrived back at the fair and stepped off the boat with a smirk. Here was where he had stolen his best asset, Lilith. Who knew what other treasures could be found here? He shoved his hands into his pockets and wandered the fair grounds with sharp eyes, looking for anyone that might have a good prize on them. He seemed to have come at an off time, however, as most of the people he passed seemed to be families with their kids. Useless as far as targets. After a couple loops he got bored of it and turned towards the game area. If he couldn't steal a prize then maybe he would just relax to some games instead.

Church arrived back at the entrance and headed straight for the docks that would lead him back to Galar. He had had his fun and met up with Fraya, now it was time to get back to work. As he sat down on the boat he opened his pokedex and a map, marking various areas that might contain the pokemon he needed for the next gym. Frankly despite owning Zara Church hated dealing with fary types. He much preferred dragon-types to own and so fairies were a real problem. This time Lilith wouldn't be able to help him out either.

For the time being, Copper had merely been enjoying his time just existing as he had arrived at the fair with his Pokemon, taking it all in. The last couple of weeks had been particularly uplifting, he’d weighed himself down to a point that he hadn’t been sure that there was anything worth being out in the real world, but it was all a delusion he’d created for himself. With Cassio padding along quietly beside him, his leash and harness prominent and contrasting against the Jolteon’s fur, and Orion sat with a smile looking this way and that atop Cassio’s back, Copper had really just been wandering around thus far. He didn’t necessarily have a direction he felt like going in at the moment, but this time it wasn’t a feeling of being lost or that he felt inferior in trying to do anything related to being out on his own, this time it was the knowledge that his possibilities could be endless if he allowed himself to accept that narrative instead of trying to make it all fit in the ideal box that he thought he would have to live in to enjoy his life outside of his home. He could go anywhere, do anything now, he wanted to start fresh and the idea that he had that chance and that opportunity to do so was incredibly freeing. Copper would eventually have to decide if he was starting over, what region and league he would want to look to challenge to really try to start off on the right foot this time, but for now, that was a distant thought as he walked along and stroked Invi’s soft fur with his thumb as he held her in the palm of his hand.

Thomas quickly adjusted to the sounds and noises usually accompanying a fair of this size. He looked about, spotting a number of interesting things. There was a variety of games he wanted to try, but before he could do so he absolutely had to test this wild-looking roller coaster. He hurried to get in line with Lady looking nervously up at it. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked, glancing over at her Trainer. She didn't know what triggered that other version of himself, but she didn't imagine a sudden rush of adrenaline would be great.

"Don't be such a Torchicken." He said, grinning at her. He looked back to the ride just as a cart did a loop and spun around so that those on board were now being propelled through the sky upside down. "Besides, if it's too much for you, you can always just teleport off of it." He grinned at her, and she could see at once that the comment was really more of a challenge. Thomas knew he had her now, she was not one to back down from such a challenge. Granted, she'd also never been on a roller coaster before.

Rosalyn stared in awe at the countless rides in the area. She wanted to go on all of them! Ride all of the rides, play all of the games, and eat all of the food! This sounded like an excellent plan to the Sobble. She tried to communicate this to her trainer, who was staring at her new Arcanine. Briar wasn't exactly sure what to do about him. Slate had kept her distance from her since he had been released from his Pokeball, which was perfectly understandable. She wouldn't be willing to trust so quickly if she had been abandoned. Part of her had expected him to run off the moment they were off the boat. The Arcanine had chosen to follow her for whatever reason though. It was a small victory but a victory all the same. So long as she continued to be patient with him, she hoped that she would eventually win him over.

"What would you guys like to do first?" She asked her little group of Pokemon. Rosalyn jumped at the opportunity to pick a direction. She gestured excitedly at the biggest roller coaster she could see. Briar looked like she was going to freeze up at the sight of it. She fidgeted nervously for several seconds before sighing. "Okay. Let's do this." There was no way she wouldn't regret going on the ride. The Sobble would be happy though. That was good enough for her. "We can go on something slow after that! Like that smaller loopy ride! Oh! Or that thing that spins!" Rosalyn definitely needed to go on that spinning ride. "Do you even know what slow means?" Bidi asked, looking every bit as enthusiastic about the rides as Briar was. The Sobble was going to be the death of them.

Katie took a break from the excitement, choosing instead to spend the night in the castle. While she was showered, and laying in bed, she browsed the internet. During this time before falling asleep, she discovered that the world was raving over a fair. It was only around for a short while, and she decided that that she wanted to visit. She slept the night away, dreamless sleep uninterrupted by her Pokemon since they were all returned to their Pokeballs. After all that excitement, she did not want to be disturbed while she slept away the next fourteen hours.

When she woke, she went to the nearest Abra and told it very specifically that she wanted to go to the Chingling Brothers Fair. A few seconds later, that's exactly where she was! She looked around in amazement at everything there was to see. The smells were so tempting, she desperately wanted a funnel cake. The rides, of every variety, were calling to be ridden. Even the games looked to be great fun in the morning sunlight. This was exactly the break from stress and drama that she had been needing.

Her stomach growled, but she made it wait while she got into line to ride something that seemed to go up, and then drop straight down in a free-fall. Besides, she figured that such a thing would be better on an empty stomach. No sense losing such a delicious treat so soon after eating it! This early in the morning, the lines were short. Most people were sleeping, or hung over, or just used to the rides by now. When she was strapped in, she began to rise high, high into the sky. Then, with a drop that seemed to propel her gut into her throat, she fell.

Church arrived off the boat and glanced at his phone as he made his way down the docks. By the texts he had received on the way here it seemed Zeke had run into some trouble and not been able to make the meeting. That son of a... Church frowned as the boat left him stranded at the fair for now. He would have to wait until the next one arrived before he could head back to galar, a fact that made him even angrier with Zeke. As he sat down on once of the benches near the entrance and leaned back he imagined strangling the man, a mental picture that brought a smile to Church's lips. He was aware of the looks he got, dressed only in a pair of ripped black jeans and a leather jacket that showed off his bare chest and abdomen. It was enough to get quite a few looks from the girls, however he was far too pissed off for flirting today. For now he just enjoyed the attention and waited for his boat.

♪ My Bartender she's from the islands,

her body's been kissed by the sun.

Coconut replaces the smell of the bar,

and I don't know if it's her or the rum.

Thinking briefly about Rhya and hoping that the girl was okay, she tried to put all that out of her mind to focus on having fun! Sceptile, Buizel, Aipom, and Decidueye were all let out of their Pokeballs so that they could enjoy the events as well. Naturally Buizel didn't leave Katie's side, so she picked him up and carried him around in his arms. This would work for now, at least until it was time to get on some of these super-fun-looking rides!

Aipom scampered off. Expecting that the mischievous little monkey would soon be up to no good, Decidueye took to the skies and flew after him. He had keen eyesight, so he could keep track of the smaller Pokemon. While those two got off to Arceus-knows-where, Grovyle walked beside Katie. He didn't exactly care for large groups of people. Too easy to get separated, and he was still on edge after Hoopa had gone all kamikaze on an entire hotel.

After walking around a bit, Katie decided to get in line for a roller coaster. Buizel did not meet the height requirement - so even though Grovyle could have gotten on with Katie, he opted to stay behind with the otter so he wouldn't feel left out. She felt so proud of her Pokemon and his selflessness. He'd come a long way from the selfish little lizard she'd met in Hoenn. She waited patiently, and eventually found herself strapped in and propelled through the air at immense speeds; long blonde hair whipping around her.

The three guys had spent an entire night pissing people off and bullying anyone younger or weaker than them. They were ready to call it a day about noon the next day. The crappy food - while good - had gotten old after eating so much of it. "This is stupid, and bor..." Jasper began, but trailed off. Realizing that their leader had stopped walking as well, they paused and looked back at him. They could tell that something was wrong. They followed his gaze, expecting to see a Shiny or even Legendary Pokemon based on his reaction.

"What's up, man?" Rex asked, but Lucky caught sight of the problem. He nudged Rex in the ribs and nodded. He took another look, and at first he couldn't figure it out. Then he saw her. "Oh, damn." He sighed. Lucky looked eager, but Rex was obviously bothered. Fortunately both of his 'friends' were too focused on the blonde girl standing next in line for a roller coaster to realize. He knew that whatever happened next, they could never be normal guys again. If Jasper got his hands on her, he would kill her with or without witnesses around.

Their leader started forward, but Lucky caught his wrist. When Jasper looked back, Rex suspected that Lucky was living up to his name for not having just been punched in the face. "We should wait until she gets off the ride. Less people will be around her on that end." Lucky said, pointing at the spot where guests were leaving the ride in smaller groups of people. Jasper thought about it for a second, but his decision was made for him when Katie climbed into the roller coaster.

Barely able to control his rage, Jasper waited for his target to get off the ride in a near-blinding impatience. Nobody and nothing else mattered to him anymore. There she was, with the nerve to still be alive after ruining everything for him. All she had to do was keep her fucking mouth shut and go on with her life, but she just couldn't do it. So now she had to pay for her mistake. Now they would see who was the loser, and who was the only one left standing.

As she climbed down from the ride, he released Litten and Turtonator. "Listen to me, both of you. If I have to tell you again, you won't like what happens." He said, giving off a vibe of pure evil. "Do you see that girl?" He pointed, and they looked. When they both nodded, he smiled cruelly. "Good. You're going to burn her. As badly as you possibly can." They both immediately looked shocked. He caught the expressions of surprise. "And you're going to do it, or I'm going to return you to your Pokeballs and sink you to the bottom of the ocean."

When at last the ride came to a stop, Katie got off onto shaky legs. It had been a wild ride, one that threw her around in her seat and she felt confident that she would have a bruise or two from the experience. Even so, she wouldn't have traded it for the world. It had been soooo long since she'd gotten to have fun like this. She'd almost forgotten what fun was. This was such a good thing for her, just what she needed to get past all the crap that had recently (and not so recently) happened.

Walking down the ramp towards her Pokemon, she didn't immediately notice what was happening to her right. Scout, however, did. He leapt into action immediately, taking the Fire-Type attack that had been meant for his Trainer. "Scout!" She shouted, hurrying up to him and checking his injured arm. "Are you okay?" She asked. He nodded shortly and looked in the direction of their attackers. It was two Pokemon standing next to two Trainers. A small white cat yeowled at her and a much larger Pokemon stomped his heavy feet and readied another attack.

By now, Buizel had caught up to them, and the two Pokemon launched themselves into battle with this unexpected threat. Scout was hurt, and at a Type disadvantage, but Buizel was strong against Fire-Type Pokemon so the match-up evened out a bit. They went right into a double battle, but they were not the only ones attacking! From her left, a Mimikyu and Sandygast were shooting off attacks as well. She reacted quickly and on instinct, launching herself forward into a roll and coming to one knee with a Pokeball already in hand.

She released the Snorlax, which towered between her and the other two Pokemon. Though they were smaller and faster, Snrolax's size and power was more than capable of keeping both enemy Pokemon busy. It helped that they weren't able to use super-effective moves against him. She was trying to keep track of both battles at the same time. She didn't understand what was happening, but it was obvious that someone was attacking her. She doubted this would be the end of it. So she released Hoopa and Jirachi. Both wanted to join in the battles, but she couldn't let that happen.

"I need you to..." She was interrupted by what seemed to be a sword swinging for her head. It might have hit, had Jirachi not stopped the blow. She quickly realized that she was being attacked by another Pokemon, not a sword. Though it's arms might as well have been. It turned it's attention to both Legendary sprites and attacked them. It swung so fast that the attacks were like blurs of motion. It was all the two small Pokemon could do to deflect and avoid them.

Thomas got off the ride in time to see a girl getting attacked from multiple sources. Well that wasn't fair, but was it his responsibility to interfere? For all he knew, this was something that didn't concern him in the slightest. Still, part of him was drawn to help the poor girl. He decided that he would keep an eye on the situation and interfere if things escalated any further. That being said, he soon became so involved in the ordeal that he didn't even notice Deoxys let himself out of his Pokeball.

Jasper had given his Pokemon their orders, and Arceus help them if they failed. He was able to sneak up to the blonde by keeping close to the multitude of booths. With any luck, all of her Pokemon would now be distracted. They all looked weak, like her, with the exception of that Snorlax. His only regret was that he did not have bigger Pokemon to beat her to a pulp with. Oh well, he would make do. With her fully focused on the three battles taking place in front of her, he rushed up to her and grabbed her from behind by the throat. Her fingernails dug into his hand, but he was too elated to feel much.

In his free hand, he held a small knife. He couldn't even remember where he'd found it, but it was his, and now he was going to gift it to her. He plunged the blade into her side, and the feel of warmth flowing over his hand was... well, there were no words to describe how good it made him feel. He pulled it free, and was just about to stab her again, when something strange happened. He couldn't move. "What the fuck?" He snarled, trying to turn his head but found that he could not. He felt a pressure on his left wrist - the one with the knife - but couldn't see what was happening.

Unable to keep his hold on Katie, she pulled free and collapsed to the ground. Clutching her side she began to crawl away from him. No! This couldn't be happening! This was his only chance, and she was going to escape him yet again! Would the knife wound be enough? He wasn't sure, but he'd wanted to hurt her so much more! He'd really wanted to make her suffer for everything she'd had the nerve to do to him. And there was another strange sensation taking place. A sort of darkness creeping into his mind. All he could do was stare at her as that same darkness began to creep into his vision.

Thomas couldn't believe what he was seeing! The guy emerged from the shadows, grabbed her by the throat, and stabbed her. "No!" He shouted. He started forward, but Deoxys flew past him so fast that Thomas' clothes whipped about him in the draft. He watched in awe as Deoxys flew through the air, landed behind the guy, and wrapped a tentacle-like arm around his wrist. The guy went stiff, like there was an electric current running through him. The girl fell forward, grabbing her side, and tried crawling away. Thomas ran towards her and dragged her a safe distance, then pulled off his shirt and used it to apply pressure to her injury.

It was a few moments before he looked up at Deoxys. The guy hadn't moved at all. That was good, Deoxys was restraining him for the authorities to arrive and take him away. He was about to turn his attention back to the girl when he noticed something... weird. The guy wasn't moving, but something was definitely happening to him. He wasn't... melting, or disintegrating, but it was something in between. His mind closed on the word unravelling. He began to sort of blur around the edges. Deoxys, he would later learn, was unravelling this dark-haired guy on a cellular level. He couldn't watch any more, so he looked back to the girl and missed what happened next.

"Hey, it's okay. You're okay. Help is coming." He said, having no idea if this were true or not. He had to assume it was. He kept applying pressure to the stab wound and trying to keep her calm and awake. There was so much blood on the ground, and his hand was red with it. He wanted to scream, to cuss, to freak out, but he had to stay calm for her. When he looked back, Deoxys was standing alone where they had been moments before. So that was the potential of Deoxys. He knew his Pokemon was dangerous, but this was an entirely different situation.

Briar Bellerose

Briar had braced herself for a lot of things. Malfunctioning ride, a Pokemon battle gone wrong, maybe even a booth collapsing...What appeared to be an attempted murder gone wrong was not one of the things she was prepared for! How did something like that even happen at a fair?! There were so many people around! Surely nobody would try something so awful in such a crowded place! Was there anything she could do to help? There had to be something, right? She shouldn't just stand there! "I-is she-" Briar shook her head. She couldn't be dead. The male with her wouldn't be trying to hard to keep her wound covered if she were dead. She needed to go get something who could fix her. There was so much blood though. How were you supposed to fix something that was bleeding so much? The ground was covered in it. So was his hand. "A-are you hurt too?" That had to be it. There couldn't be so much blood from just one person. They were both hurt! She needed her legs to cooperate with her. She needed to move before the girl really did die! Briar couldn't though. She had rooted herself to her spot, her gaze fixed on the blood. She wasn't entirely sure when she fell but if it hadn't been for Slate she would have become intimately acquainted with the dirt. The person trying to stop the bleeding was far more brave than she could ever hope to be. She envied him for that. When face with a stressful situation he was able to be useful. All she could do was cling to her Arcanine and try not to pass out.

"This is not what I expected to be doing with my evening." Honestly though, finding a single victim was better than what she had been picturing in her head. Elfana took a couple seconds to take inventory of the situation before her. One girl looked ready to pass out- she assumed that one was a bystander. There were plenty of those around. They weren't her problem. The male applying pressure to the wound didn't appear to have any obvious injuries so he also wasn't her problem. That left the victim. Botched assault or accident? She didn't know but she would find out soon enough. "Saiphe, clear off one of the booths. I'm not doing this in the dirt." Too much risk of the wound becoming contaminated that way. She heard the clatter of several objects being shoved to the ground when she knelt down next to the girl. "Explain." The command was simple enough. She hoped she wouldn't have to go into further detail about what she wanted from the male. Elfana tossed her bag to Kiro, leaving the Toxicroak to retrieve the necessary supplies for her while she examined the young woman. "Did you at least tell them you're a doctor?" Saiphe called to her as Elfana pulled Thomas's hand away from the stab wound. She clicked her tongue before slipping her arms beneath the girl. "This is going to be uncomfortable but a few seconds of discomfort are better than dealing with an infection." She picked her up and moved her to the table Saiphe had cleared for them. The doctor was covered in blood by the time she was done moving her but she couldn't have cared less if she tried. She had a job to do. Her Toxicroak had already set up everything she would need to deal with the wound. "This is why you're my favorite assistant, Kiro." The Toxicroak let out a proud croak. He had taken over applying pressure to the wound while Elfana slipped her gloves on. As soon as she started working, Elfana blocked off everything but the task before her. Minako had arrived at the fair by boat from Vaniville town. She had entered and immediatly saw the multitude of rides. Her eyes went to stars as she rushed off toward the Roller coasters with her Galiga. She Rode the biggest roller coaster in the park, holding onto her Galiga the entire time she did so. Soon after,she went on the tilt a whirl and then the merry go round. She then decided to park it for a bit on a bench, and catch her breath and get rid of some of her dizziness. Her Galiga was right beside her, having enjoyed the rides. They would go back to it later but for now another Area interested the two, as they headed toward the games, but they noticed a commotion. Confused, they noticed somone had been attacked. The girl nearly feinted of shock, but composed ehrself. "WHO THE FUCK LET THAT GUY IN WITH A KNIFE?!"

As Church rested on the bench a commotion caught his attention. It seemed as if a woman had been attacked via pokemon, and as he watched a man creeped up behind the distracted woman. For a very brief moment Church considered calling out, but in the end he clamped down on his words of warning. He didn't know the woman, why should he feel obligated to help her if she couldn't even help herself? A moment later the woman was grabbed and for a second Church didn't comprehend what he saw in the man's hand. A knife? He flinched as the woman dropped to the ground and the scene became chaotic. A twinge of guilt bubbled up in Church but he quickly batted it away. How could he have known the psycho had a knife? Besides, it seemed handled enough.

As his boat didn't seem to be coming anytime soon Church stood and glanced back at the scene a little hesitantly. Then he angerly turned and headed for the game area. He had already been angry to start with, and now he was even angrier by the situation. Though he couldn't tell if it was anger that he hadn't called out, or anger that he had felt sympathy towards a stranger. Either way, the attacker seemed to be dying, a fact that held Church's gaze for a moment more as he looked back over his shoulder. He had never seen a man die before, if that was what was happening. It was hard to tell but the Deoxys was surly doing something... sketchy.

As the scene faded into the distance, Church felt both disgusted with himself and rather furious.

Skye was freaked out, but was not goign to let these events ruin her enjoyment of the carnival. She sighed and recollected herself, heading toward the refreshment area with her Galiga. Events liek this always made her sad, and seeing death really brought home that the world was not the cheery [place everyone made it out to be. She was really disturbed now and this was now the worst event of her life that she'd ever witnissed.

Church pulled the hood of his jacket up over his snowy white hair and grumpily headed for the docks. The atmosphere of the fair was causing a headache to push at his temples, causing his mood to drop even further. Feeling a little hungover from all the noise, Church took his spot on the first boat heading back to Galar and relaxed into his seat. He pulled his hood even further over his face and closed his eyes, deciding to take a nap during the ride and hopefully rid himself of the growing headache.

Minako had arrived back at the entrence with her aprty and they all boarded a Train heading for twinleaf town... she was leaving this behind, and took one last glance at the scene where chaos had happened. "God i hope that guy learned his lesson.." Minako grumbled before boarding the train with her four pokemon, though she recalled her ralts and Vulpix only leaving her two horses out to communicate. Florina and Aurora hit it off fast and seemed like sisters. As the train pulled out, she leaned back and took a small nap.

Sheer swooped down from the air to land gracefully near the entrance to the fair. People scattered in her wake, but neither her nor the white-haired man on her back seemed to care what they thought. Instead, Church hopped off of Sheer and returned her to her pokeball before shoving his hands in his pockets and strolling onward through the gates. As per usual he kept his eyes out for any suckers as he walked, however this time he seemed unlucky in his endeavors. The crowd seemed quite alert, a little too alert to try and snatch a few pokeballs. Oh well. Not like it mattered to him much anyway, he had other reasons to return here this time.

“Hey, hey, hey! This place is jumpin’!” He entered the fairground with a huge grin slapped on his face. There were trainers of all shapes and sizes enjoying rides, playing games, and hanging out with their pokemon. Kenji was glad that he came as the atmosphere was one of elation. He was sure that there were some strong trainers here but he wasn’t really ready to run into them yet. He noticed a large area full of games and prizes, if there was going to be anywhere that he could get his hands on rare pokemon it would most likely be there. Wandering over towards the game area he tried not to notice the people looking at him like they usually did, mostly the girls. It was not of his concern right at this time.
