This is where members can put up claimed or unclaimed Pokemon for adoption for other members to adopt for their characters!
- Adoptions are per member, not per character
- You can make one adoption per month
- In order to qualify for an adoption, you must have made at least 5 in character RP posts within that same month
- Members will post here with the Pokemon's info that they would like to put up for adoption, and a mod will update the post below with its information for everyone to know what is available
- If the Pokemon was claimed from an event and has yet to be introduced, so does not have a movepool, exp, or anything of the like, we need to know the Pokemon species, shiny or not, and its level
- If the Pokemon has been introduced and has been with a character, then we need to know all of its information, level, HP, exp count, and its current attacks
- No legendaries can be put up for adoption
- No Ultra Beasts can be put up for adoption
- No Mega evolve Pokemon can be put up for adoption
- No Fakemon can be put up for adoption
- Items cannot be given away through adoption
- Custom Sprites can be put up for adoption, but they will not be given out with any special abilities or attacks that might have come from their original event
- You must state which character will be adopting which Pokemon as they cannot go to an unclaimed or pending status. Pokemon cannot be adopted beyond your character's obedience level requirements. If your desired Pokemon is at or above your character's obedience level, it will drop down to five levels below your obedience level, and its exp count will remain the same
- It is up to you in adopting the Pokemon if you would like to keep the Pokemon's original personality if they were given one by their initial owner
- Once you have put a pokemon up for adoption, you can pull it out of adoption at any time before it is adopted. Once it has been claimed by another member, you cannot police their interpretation of the Pokemon and cannot ask them to give it back
- You cannot adopt from your own Pokemon that you've put up for adoption, so no adopting between your own characters
- Once you have posted here to put a Pokemon up for adoption, it cannot be in your character's party or active party in any way, and you must remove its info from any pokedex or log keeping
- If you would like to create a story or interaction between characters regarding adoption, feel free and please communicate between all parties involved!
- After claiming the Pokemon, you can introduce it any way you see fit, and they are free capture like event Pokemon. If the Pokemon is shiny, and was an unclaimed event Pokemon before being adopted, the sprite can be edited like an event claim as well
- It is not required to let us know where the Pokemon came from, but if you have that information, feel free to provide it, it might help someone characterize the Pokemon!
