- All normal forum rules apply, no god modding, no forcing stories on characters or members who don't wish to participate, explicit content is prohibited, and all other regular guidelines are to be followed within these threads
- These Adventure Threads are special threads that are free to be created by members to explore story ideas, plot with other characters, and create more depth for their journies. In order for a character to be eligible for participating in an Adventure Thread, they need to have posted in their respective starter town after leaving a laboratory with their starter Pokemon
- A given character can only be in one "side thread" at a time. So Ash Ketchum cannot be participating in any more than one side thread until the current one is finished/closed
- Should a participant need to go on a Hiatus, please let your partner(s) know. The thread can be put on a pause in this case for everyone to return to. These characters do not become open to participate in other threads, however if participants do decide collectively to have the thread closed, exp will still be given for thread participation
- If a thread falls inactive without response for more than three months, the thread will be force closed, and no exp given. If only one participant has fallen inactive, and the other(s) are still participating in the forum, we will still look to give exp accordingly
- There need to be a minimum of two characters from two different members for a side thread to be established. As many characters that would like to participate can be involved, but equal participation from everyone involved is the expectation. Once all participants have agreed that a thread is "finished" please notify a moderator so that exp can be given for participation
- Pokemon only threads would be permitted in this concept, an example would be things akin to "Pikachu's Vacation". As many Pokemon as one character owns can participate in a thread, but this thread would count towards the character's participation. So Ash's Pikachu can participate in a thread, but while that thread is going on, Ash cannot be in another thread
- Within a thread, since nothing systematic is taking place, the regularly expected Pokemon information such as attack damages, abilities, held items, ect does not need to be noted in these threads or RP posts. At minimum, the Pokemon can be listed in the first post of the thread per character that will be included in the thread, otherwise all that is necessary within an RP post is just their sprites, nicknames, and levels, and any other extra information you'd like
- Event Pokemon can be introduced in these threads. By the end of the thread the Pokemon in question need to be deposited into a PC or brought to a location somewhere that the character could then go to in linear time to retrieve them. Legendary Pokemon cannot be introduced in these threads since they have to be systematically battled and captured
- No posting exp or item posting will be earned in these threads, wild Pokemon cannot be battled for exp or captured, and monthly goals cannot be achieved within these threads. Other event additions such as Pokerus cannot be given to a Pokemon in a thread, and Pokemon will not level up or evolve within the thread
- Gym battles, gym rematches, contests and ranger jobs cannot be conducted in these threads, and no research tasks or pokejobs can be completed in these threads. NPCs can be included for story purposes outside of these systems however, so please get with myself and Prince to discuss any NPC inclusion. If the NPC that you would like to include is a gym leader, your character or any other participating characters cannot be in the middle of a gym challenge with the particular leader
- Only canon locations can be utilized in these side threads, and only locations that currently exist in the forum
- The creator of the thread will maintain the first post as the introduction for the thread. At minimum it should include all participating characters and their member tags, the participating Pokemon per each character, the location or locations that will be visited in the thread, and any additional info or notes that participants want to list or keep track of
- The thread title for a given thread should be something fun and telling about what the thread entails, like the title to a short story
