"Leavanny! They are such cute Pokemon. What was interacting with one like? I haven't had a chance to meet one but I would love to someday!" Bugs were some of her favorite Pokemon. Unfortunately for Hanako, her weak immune system wouldn't allow her to get near the majority of them. They had too many Poison or spore based abilities for her to get close. Kintaro collected Bugs and Faithe knew one. She couldn't get near them but she could learn about them through her friends! "Sewing definitely takes a lot of talent to learn! That makes you extra amazing!" Hanako's face lit up when she saw herself in the mirror. She hadn't thought it was possible for her hair to look so nice! While she couldn't squeal properly without hurting herself, she was able to let out an excited squeak as she jumped up and hugged Faithe. "Thank you~! Thank you~! Thank you~! It looks so pretty~!" Like Faithe, she jumped a bit when Odyss reappeared. She felt awful about not noticing that he had been left behind at some point but she still smiled when she saw just how excited he was. Maybe she should advise him to eat less sugar...Definitely not. This might be one of the only opportunities he got to eat something sweet! "Would you guys like some treats too?" Riven would never say it outright but Hanako was sure she would like cotton candy too! Alatus grimaced at the thought of eating something that sweet. "We'll find something else for you then." She tried picking Alatus up but he ended up wrapping himself around her instead. "Would you or your Pokemon like anything, Faithe?" Faithe had made her hair extra pretty. The least she could do was get a few treats for her too! "Odyss, could you tell me which way the treats are?" She would need to get Odyss another treat too...maybe multiple extra treats to make up for losing track of him.

Faithe  tipped her head to the side in thought "huh... thats a hard question. cause like, Momma had Silk before I was born. So... her Leavanny was more like a nanny, than a pokemon sometimes... ya know?" she says with a definitive nod. "And ya know, if you ever come and meet my folks you should also meet Silk too~!" She chimes excitedly. It would be exciting to bring her new friend with such super pretty hair home to meet mom, and Silk. Faithe blushed and shook her head "Nah, it isn't all that special." Faithe dismisses the compliment with a small hand waving gesture. Then upon seeing her reflexion, Faithe's new friend Hana leapt up and hugged her. "hehehe my new friend is huggy too!" Faithe thinks excitedly as she happily reciprocated. Faithe looked back to Teriyaki and Mozilla. Faithe tipped her head in thought "Ya know that would be really fun I bet." She states with a nod her hands still rather occupied by the materials she was weaving and braiding for the scarf. "Teriyaki, would you be willing to carry Mozilla. I mean... if she lets you~!" Faithe chimes excitedly as she makes her request of Teriyaki. Teriyaki nods her head and looks to the little Fennekin in the way a forceful and caring parent can bare down on a small child, and at the same time like a pure force of nature. Mozilla gave a little huff but consented and hopped up into Teriyaki's hands. 
"Good, thank you for getting along nicely Mozi~!" Faithe mewls sweetly at her new little fennekin partner, who, while kind of a little trouble maker was definitely willing to behave it would seem. "Okay, I'm good to go when you are. Lead the way to deliciousness~!" She adds with an excitedly loud cheer.

Odyss was quick to obey the request for candy, reaching out a sticky paw to grasp Hanako's hand and start dragging her along with him. "C'mon! It's this way!" He cried enthusiastically, noticing some of the malfunctions slowly washing across the park but giving them none of the thought he should have. The power had gone out by the time he brought Hanako to the snack kiosk. He stared up at the dim board with a disappointed frown. "Aww...are they closed?" He muttered mournfully even as he looked at the employees still inside--the only time a customer will ever assume a shop is closed instead of open just for them. He looked around in mild confusion as stress began to grow around them. Something was wrong and Odyss was too slow to pick up on it. He did instinctively release Hanako's hand to rest his paw lightly on her shoulder. Sorry, Alatus. Too many things added up to a problem, even for the Chesnaught struggling to put everything together. He still hadn't worked out there were problems afoot but he was responding with the expectation that he'd have to grab Hanako and go quickly any moment now. Screams in the distance finally snapped Odyss out of his stupor and his claws pressed into Hana's shoulder. "Miss Lucali. I think we should go." He mumbled almost to himself. Nervous Chesnaught was getting more nervous by the second.

"My papa had a Pokemon like that! A nanny, I mean. Del took care of me when I was little. He is a really old Delibird." Definitely not the sort of Pokemon you would usually associate with the 'nanny' title. "He's fast for his age and he finds me no matter where I am!" Hanako paused and looked around for her Delibird friend. When he didn't appear, she giggled and shrugged a bit. "I guess it's a bit much to assume he followed me across the ocean." Wouldn't have been the first time he had done that. The Delibird had gone all the way to Johto to take care of her when she was still small. She wanted to say more about her Delibird friend but before she could she found herself being dragged along by Odyss. Hanako smiled and began to jog a bit so she could keep up with the Chesnaught. Odyss was fast for such a big Pokemon. She couldn't blame him. Sugary treats did sound really good! Before they could get their snack, everything in the area began to shutdown. Hanako shifted a little closer to Odyss when she noticed. "Is that normal?" She whispered, though she had no idea why she expected the Chesnaught or her new friend to know the answer.

A broken message began playing over the speakers. Hanako began to fidget as Alatus tightened around her protectively. "Routine and power shortage aren't words that sound like they should go together." The Ekans shifted to avoid being caught under the Chesnaught's paw when he placed it on Hanako's shoulder. She looked back at Faithe as the message played. "Maybe we should make our way back towards the entrance?" That had to be safer, right? She was about to say something else when the second message began to play. "Containment...anomaly?" The ancient Pokemon were loose?! Hanako was beginning to panic. She wasn't exactly a strong trainer! She wouldn't be able to protect herself or her new friend from any fossils that decided to take offense to them! More importantly- Kintaro was probably in the park somewhere and she had no idea where he was! "Odyss, we have to find Taro!" Personal safety was now a secondary concern. She needed to find her friend!

Before the two older Pokemon could decide who would play first, the machines in the arcade began shutting down. The area would have been entirely silent were it not for the screams from the few people trapped on the different rides. Briar shuddered and scooped up her Sobble, holding Rosalyn protectively against herself. The automated system overhead claimed that the power outage was routine but it didn't feel like it was. Her Absol sat back and lifted his paws for her to see, signing 'Stay?' to her before settling back down. Remaining where they were would likely be their best bet. At least until the power was back on. Before she could reply, her view of her Absol was blocked by a blonde woman. "Everything was working just fine not too long ago." She replied quickly, afraid her irritation would be turned towards her if she didn't. "Everything turned off and that loud thing said it was supposed to happen!" The Sobble in her arms was pouting because her playtime had been interrupted. "But they said they were gonna turn stuff back on! That's what remi-dated means, right?" Briar wished she could understand any of what her Sobble was trying to say. She could only shrug helplessly before she spoke up again. "It sounds like they're trying to fix things. There shouldn't be anything to worry..." She trailed off as the second announcement started. "I stand corrected." Containment anomalies were definitely something they needed to be worried about! The arcade was pretty far from the carnivore area so maybe they wouldn't run into anything too scary! But they were pretty close to the aviary..."I think that's exactly what it means." Briar joined Ridley by the door, glancing outside for anything that even vaguely looked like a bunch of wild fossils circling overhead. She didn't see anything yet- not that she got much of a chance to look. Slate bit down on the back of her shirt and pulled her right back inside. Briar patted his head when he freed her again before looking back towards the door. "Will we be safe here? The Aviary is nearby. Do you think any of the Flying fossils got out?" All things considered, Briar should have been panicking. She wasn't entirely sure how she wasn't. For now she was managing to keep herself together.

Ridley had noticed she had been seemingly followed by Church from the docks, but given the most recent news she was happy to have him around and his large Tyrantrum. The woman answered that the rides were operational earlier, meaning those were broken too like the electricity, however what was worse the white-haired woman also confirmed that the announcement was exactly what they were thinking. Delphine listened to the Sobble rattle off. She gave him a very uneasy smile, that was not very convincing. "Yeah.. That's what it's supposed to mean." She answered, she could tell the little water Pokémon was young so she didn't want to scare the Sobble, but pt of Ridley's entire team, Delphine was the worst liar. Church seemed like he could handle a few battles, but the white-haired woman, Ridley could guess not. She didn't look like much to Ridley, but she had an Arcanine and a Absol so she couldn't be useless. Ridley remained at the door way as the other woman was pulled away. The woman asked if they might be safe, and that the aviary was nearby. "From the sounds of it, " She started, pointing upwards, referencing the alarm system "Everything got out." Ridley spoke, and it wasn't everything but she leaned out of the doorway again and looked skyward. Low and behold, there were flying types in the sky now. Ridley let out a whining sound. "I hate birds." She whined with a huff, and then whirled around. Were they safe? That was the question now. She looked to Delphine. If the power was out maybe, they had their abilities. "Del, see if you can use psychic now and move something in front of the door." Ridley asked. If they had their moves back, they weren't in any danger, but without them they were sitting ducks. Delphine let out an uneasy sound as she held out her staff and concentrated on the pool table. After a moment, nothing happened and Delphine started to wave her stave angrily as her abilities were still disabled. Ridley looked to the white-haired woman, "That answers the question. We aren't safe here." Ridley replied with a grim tone.

However, Ridley was not going to be a damsel. She might be blonde, in a mini skirt, and heels, but she was not going to go down if she had anything to do about it. They didn't have any of their abilities, but neither did these fossil Pokemon. She could only hope they could at least go unnoticed, and if they do then they needed to defend themselves. Ridley walked over to the pool table and picked up one of the pool cues and tossed it to Themyscira. "You're joking, right?" The Sirene asked. Ridley moved over to the pool balls, and tossed two to Esme. "Nope, I'll be damned if we can't defend ourselves." Ridley responded, grabbing a pool cue stick for herself. She looked back to the window as there were a few screams from the staff members. They didn't sound like they were screams flying away so she figured they would be fine. But that meant the fossils had descended, and a few were soon in their view on the ground. Ridley jumped and ducked behind one of the arcade games while her Pokémon ducked behind the pool table.

Faithe wasn't the only one with a "serious mode." Odyss was watching the sky while the girls gathered the severity of the situation. He could hear things coming before he saw them. It was a shame he was still so inexperienced, he might have had the sense to let Faithe--or at least Teriyaki and Riven--help him guide them to safety. There were large buildings around but there were also all these flying Pokemon escaping and wreaking havoc. He had to protect Hanako. Kintaro would never forgive him if Hanako got hurt. He should go someplace with cover, and he knew that somewhere in the back of his mind, but running felt more appropriate. Fliers couldn't weave through trees as easily. Go to trees! Hanako was mostly compliant already and it took only a quick motion for him to sweep his arm across her body and scoop her up around the waist. He swung around and scooped Faithe similarly without consulting her or her Pokemon partner, ruining a perfectly good moment in the name of protecting the small things. "Time to go!" He grunted, dashing off the moment he had both girls tucked under his arms, faster than one might expect from a lumbering oaf like a Chesnaught. He just had to get to a treeline and he could put the girls down there. He didn't think to communicate his plan until after he was already several paces away. He glanced back--likely to the sight of being chased by distressed caretakers--which only spurred him to run faster. Riven was going to be mad and he had to get to the woods before he could let anybody beat him up!

...Maybe a quick distraction. Odyss skidded to a halt, backed up a few steps, and kicked the bowling ball down the lane for a strike. He grinned like an idiot before an Archen headbutt him trying to bite his face. Oh, right, running!

Faithe nodded to her new friend however before she got a chance to punch anything however Odyss decided that he had a better plan of action apparently, as the big Chesnaught scooped both Hana and herself up and took off running, although his choice of direction seemed, odd. "I... Cant... Punch... Anything... Like... This." Faithe complained as Odyss seemed to be making a straight dash towards the tree-line. However when he stopped to kick the bowling ball she couldn't stop herself from giggling at the antics. "Nice strike." She mewls excitedly. "Hey, watch your~ ooo... yea never mind." Faithe attempted to warn Odyss of the incoming headbutt, however she had only taken note just moments before it had hit, in essence she was going to tell him to watch his head, after he had been hit, not overly helpful really.

Teriyaki let out a sound of annoyance but followed after Odyss without hesitation. Perhaps it was a better idea that Faithe not try to go fisticuffs with any of these pokemon, or well, any pokemon really her martial arts training was more for standard self-defense and not pokemon battles really. "Really, I dont think now is the time for that!" Teriyaki expressed with fair displeasure at Odyss stopping to bowl while he had decided to take on the role of direct defense of his ward and her little sister. However her displeasure was manifest when a small flying pokemon dive bombed the big oaf. Served him right for being so impulsive what was he thinking. The girls could run, and he would be able to use his fists in their defense if he wasn't carrying them. You only carried someone if walking or running was not an option for them.

The voices trying to admonish him sounded far away. Even in the moment of stupidly playing with the bowling ball he understood that he had to protect everybody. He could hear his heartbeat in his head which he knew was going to be a problem. He had to calm down but with Kintaro and Attica elsewhere and having decided that he was in charge of keeping everyone safe...Odyss should not be in charge. He knew that and he expected he was going to get hurt like Marshall for it. He could live with that, though, if it meant he kept Faithe and Hanako safe. His sprint for the trees didn't deviate even as he was reminded that other Pokemon could be hiding in the trees waiting to attack. He should have listened, and now he was going to pay for it. Odyss made it to the tree line and jumped as if he expected to get hit right at the finish line. He turned out to be right, but it wasn't another flyer coming down. He saw steel flash and it was all he could do to twist in the air so Faithe didn't get sliced by the Kabutops talon. The edge slashed along his back instead, splitting the shell easily as his Grass Type powers weren't working like they should. He growled in frustration, watching as Kabutops shook off a few small burs from Odyss' shell and made an aggressive posture at the group. "Are you OK!?" He looked down over the girls first, prioritizing their wellbeing over the fight in front of him. Panic made him louder than he had to be but he was no threat to Hanako or Faithe save for maybe their eardrums.

Once he confirmed the humans were as protected as he could have managed, he set them down carefully and then stood up with a stomp that shook the ground. "I don't have TIME for this!" He didn't even hesitate as he took two long strides to meet the Kabutops that had decided to try and rush him. He stopped short, took a quick ready stance for no reason, then swung his arm back and curved upward straight into Kabutops' jaw. He felt carapace crack as the talon crab went flying back into some underbrush while the Chesnaught glared into the space until he was sure Kabutops wasn't coming back. He turned back to the girls with a triumphant snort and grumbled. His back burned from the cut but he decided to ignore it. The bleeding was minimal and wouldn't have happened in the first place if he had been more sensible. All the strength and confidence rushed out of him when Teriyaki and Riven caught up. "S-sorry...! Boss would've told me to take Miss Lucali and get her somewhere safe. Lots of people were going into the buildings, so the trees looked safer. Are you OK?" He admitted, thinking he had saved Hanako from getting trapped in a place full of unreasonable and frightened individuals. He probably had, but that didn't exactly make the consequence of his decision look any better with a "maybe" and nothing more. He needed to move. Hanako wanted to find Kintaro and that was going to be an entirely different adventure! He could only guess where his Boss had gone!

Hanako had met a Kabutops once. Kind of. Cyren's Kabutops had been pretty out of it at the time but he still seemed nice enough! The Kabutops that had attacked Odyss was nothing like the sleepy Kabutops her friend had been carrying around. Maybe it was because they were different types of Kabutops? The other Kabutops looked nothing like the one that was determined to cut them into ribbons. Could have been the result of being properly trained too. A wild Kabutops and a Kabutops with a trainer were bound to act different. Hanako continued to compare the two Kabutops until she felt Alatus tighten around her. The girl had frozen up. Her mental debate about the differences between Kabutops was the only thing that had kept her from panicking. It helped until the battle was over. As soon as the Kabutops was knocked out she was able to calm down...for all of five seconds. As soon as Hanako realized that Odyss was injured the panic began. She immediately began digging through her things, not particularly caring when she ended up dropping her bag. She had managed to grab a Potion out of it before it fell. She stood on the tips of her toes and began spraying the cut on his shell. Surviving the fossils and finding Kintaro could wait. Taking care of her Chesnaught had just become priority number one. Alatus was lucky he had decided to climb down from Hanako so he could pick up anything that had spilled out of her bag. He would have been crushed when she hugged Odyss after spraying the cut. She couldn't take care of it properly right now but she hoped the Potion would make it not hurt as much!

Hanako clinging to him was the only thing that spared him from Riven's wrath when she finally caught up. She had taken a few extra seconds to look over a map before joining up with them since she doubted that Odyss had any idea where he was going. "We'll talk about this later." She hissed. Yelling at him could wait until they weren't in danger. His punishment for the time being was dealing with their panicking trainer. Riven turned her attention to Teriyaki and Faithe. "We're currently headed towards the Aviary." The Sirene stated flatly before gesturing towards the sky. "That means more of those." There were already a fair amount of prehistoric Pokemon flying around overhead. If they took their chances in the trees they could likely avoid some of them but they would eventually find themselves in bird central. If they turned around they would have to cut through most of the theme park to get back to the nursery. They would be exposed to the fossils flying about sooner but the nursery might be safer. She looked at her trainer then frowned. Safer for them. "She won't be able to run for long. Her body can't handle it." That was the closest she was willing to get to saying that Hanako was sick. That was something Hana should talk about on her own. It wasn't her place to share it for her. As much as she hated to admit it the treeline had been a good call on Odyss's part- though not for the reason he had given. "I want to take her through to the aquarium area then continuing on to the herbivore habitat from there." More trees to hide in until things calmed down. And she liked their chances with the plant eaters better than the birds. "Anyone have any better suggestions?" She was mostly looking for Teriyaki and Faithe's opinions. Odyss wasn't going to be given a say. She was going to do what she thought was best for their trainer.

The blonde couldn't help but notice the male leaning against the wall with quite the smug look on his face. She couldn't help the double take as she almost wanted to walk over and start with him. Both her and the other girl had geared up for a fight. But he appeared to just want a show. If he hadn't let out Lilith she would have started swinging. But, she couldn't deny the sheer amount of help that dino was standing outside the arcade as a deterrent... She decided to keep her previous thoughts to herself. Ridley looked from Lilith back to the Arcanine, and even without abilities, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. Sure, they were still in danger, but with quite a few set of teeth to match the beaks, she liked the new odds. Church had asked them for ideas, while the white haired girl suggested they hide or run for it to hide somewhere else. "Well, I'm not going out there unless I have to." Ridley spoke. They were sitting pretty while in there, why would they run out into danger. They had a giant Pokemon guarding them with another guard dog in side the arcade. Honestly she felt like sitting back and watching, her and her own Pokemon were just as vulnerable as they were now, they didn't have much more abilities than to just swing their sticks. "I say we let Big Bertha out there get a nice four course meal of flying types, while your lucky dog over there tells us if the vibes are going sour." Ridley said pointing her pool cue out the window at Lilith and then pointing her other hand at the Absol. She knew that Absol sensed danger or misfortune rather than the tall tale of 'bringing bad luck' that didn't much make sense to her. Assuming these Pokemon just brought disasters everywhere. It seemed like a pretty easy choice, they were save in there with these guards, why would they leave? The girl introduced herself as Briar. It was a pretty fair thing to do, if they were all in danger, it might be nice to know who you could be dying with. "I'm Ridley, That's Father." She replied in a matter of fact tone, as if it were actually Church's name.

Delphine listened to the excited little Sobble, giving a nervous smile to the Pokemon with Briar. Delphine wasn't exactly bad with younger kids or Pokemon, as a matter of fact she might be one of the better Pokemon to deal with kids that Ridley had. But what she struggled with was swallowing her own panic for the sake of someone younger. "Yes, you did know a big word!" The delphox congratulated. " Maybe we can play a word game to past the time? Ummm" She began as her eyes began to frantically search the room to think of a big word. "Uhhhhh... How about... Trepidation" She spat out before snapping her mouth shut and clasping her free paw over her muzzle. Having been the first big word that came to mind, that just so happened to match the situation at hand.
