 The Herbivore Sanctuary is the farthest form the Main Hub as you can get from the Main Hub, next to the Carnivore Sanctuary, but it is well worth the travel. Automated Trams run fairly frequently making it easy to get too and from the sanctuary. The Trams stop just outside the very tall electric fences that stand at least 3 stories tall. At the gate is a guard that will go over all of the instructions and rules of going into the Herbivore Sanctuary, and they are very strict with the rules. Most are common sense, such as no feeding the Pokemon, how to drive the jeep, and where to go. The guard Recommends that all guests remain in the jeep at all times, however it is fairly open and easy to allow the trainers to hop out. Being the Herbivore sanctuary, there isn't too much danger of getting attacked, so long as it's unprovoked. However You would be doing so on at your own risk, so please stay in the jeep. Once in the sanctuary, it is an extremely large and open area. It is mostly open plains allowing the guests to drive just about anywhere, however there are locations that are much more heavily wooded, or even higher elevated. Much like the Trams, the systems in the jeep are automated. If venturing into the wooded areas gets you stuck, there is an SOS button alerting the security to come and assist! The jeeps will not allow the driver to exceed past a certain speed however it will allow the driver to rive alongside a running Pokemon if they are so lucky.

Evolution:Stegomatus does not evolve Stegomatus are large quadrupedal reptilian based Pokemon. Stegomatus stand on four large and powerful legs metallic cuffs around each of its ankles, plates covering either shoulder and its hind hips, and give or take sixteen paired rows of metallic kite shaped plates along the curved spine of its back, inset by another smaller pair of six plates on either side. These are a Stegomatus’ most prominent feature, as these plates have been recorded to be defensively superior to most predators that might try to subdue a Stegomatus. Matched with the plates on their backs, the Stegmomatus also has a set of metallic spikes at the end of its tail, creating the perfect battering weapon against those that it might need to fend off. A Stegomatus’ skin and the colors that show are going to most reflect the sediment of its surrounding area and the minerals that it has consumed. For the most part they are varying patterns of browns, reds, oranges, blacks, grays, and in rare cases some more vibrant colors depending on its surrounding environment.  {Chasmocera (Click)} Name:Chasmocera (Kaz-mo-sera, Triceratops+Chasmosaurine) Height:(From ground to top of shoulders) 9’8” Length:(From muzzle to tail tip) 29’5” Weight:844.4 lbs. Pokedex:A plains herbivore, Chasmocera were thought to be a more solitary and territorial species. Their large horns and scaled frill were used as displays of power, the more impressive the horns and frill the more likely the Chasmocera was to win territory fights. Evolution:Chasmocera does not evolve Instead of green skin coloration, it is bright vibrant orange  {Dontoventris (Click)} Name: Dontoventris Height: 6 ft 6in Weight: 1600 lbs Pokedex Entry:This Pokemon has one of the strongest tails of every Pokemon. Their tails have been record being able to make impact with an impulse of up to 4,800 newtons per second. Evolution:Dontoventris does not evolve. Physiology:This Pokemon appears to be a mixture of an ankylosaurus and practically a wrecking ball. These Pokemon have rocky brown and tan skin that seems to be as tough as stone. Their heads are shaped to seem like they have what looks like to be helmet like heads made of stones and have four spikes on the sides and top of it's head they use to protect their heads. They have flat hooked noses that they use to ram trees and knock fruit free. While their heads are fairly sharp and solid, they don't have too many sharp teeth, which was correctly presumed that made them herbivores. As well as their thick and spiked head blocks a lot of their eye sight, meaning they mostly see in front of themselves only. Their legs each have their own spikes used for protection as well, with thick but solid claws on each foot. On their backs they have a very solid hump like shape, that resembles a mesa top. The flat top is very strong and durable. They have been seen getting stuck on the point if flipped and despite it's weight they are fine. Down it's back is it's sturdy tail. It had dark gray stoney ridges that support it's tail, enabling it to swing it's tail at very high speeds. It's tails have pointed spikes towards the ends just before the tail flairs out into 4 points. The sharp ends of it's tail are why the Pokemon rams it's nose into trees rather than it's tail, for it would get it's tail stuck in the tree's bark.  (Sprite credit to Faithe) {Litisaur (Click)} Name: Litisaur Height: 3 ft Weight: 60 lbs Pokedex Entry:Litisaur need lots of love and attention from their family or even friendly Pokemon to thrive and grow flowers on their back. If left alone for too long, the plants on their neck and back will die. Evolution:Litisaur evolves into Branchiosaurus Physiology:Litisaur is a quadrupedal, dinosaurian Pokemon that resembles a young Brachiosaurus. It is a green color mostly, however it varies form lighter to darker greens all across it's body, but starts to mostly lighten towards it's underbelly. It has a long neck, long slender tail, and pointy claws on each hoof and what would be it's knees. The Pokemon has a hard armor like scales that have started to grow up it's chest and up it's neck. These seemed to have started to grow on these Pokemon to help defend them starting at a young age. Naturally they have large light blue eyes while a sharp horn sits on it's head. Behind the horn seems to grow leaves and short small plants down the back of it's neck. On it's back sprouts leaves that will grow down it's side f left untrimmed. During the spring seasons, small flowers have been known to grow on it's back. Litisaur is a calm Pokémon that lived over 100 million years ago. They live in well forested areas, with lots of greenery and plant life to live off of. However, this has made them very available to prey so this has caused them to develop the scale like armor and horns over centuries of life. Despite its restoration, it is not expected to live long in the drastic heat or cold of current climates.  (Sprite credit to Faithe){Branchiosaurus (Click)} Name: Branchiosaurus Height: 35 feet Weight: 1500 lbs Pokedex Entry:These Pokemon tower over most Pokemon at varying great heights. It's said their height is indicative of the love and attention it received before evolving, but researchers are only able to prove this is linked to the amount of flowers they can grow. Evolution:Branchiosaurus does not evolve. Physiology:Branchiosaurus is a quadrupedal dinosaurian Pokemon that resembles a Brachiosaurus. It is mostly dark green on its back side that gets the most sun, while it's underbelly side is a much lighter green. Much like Litisaur, This Pokemon has the scale like armor on it's chest up it's neck. However on it's chest they grow out into a large point to help defend their young while they hind under them. Their knees and hoofs have the claw and horn like protrusions as well. These Pokemon have light blue eyes as well, which above them is a large spike that covers most of it's head, that they use to strike enemies with. It's back is covered with these scale like armor that forms into points all over that it uses to keep itself safe. However flowered vines grow up from the Pokemon's hoofs and towards it's head. They seem to vary in color, but they almost always have the most beautiful sent. When a group of them are in one place they are often smelt before seen. Down it's very long tail are a few spikes but they are completely shrouded in plant life and flowers the cover the entirety of the tip of it's tail. These Pokemon are often kind and quite Pokemon and are seen as usually very friendly. However liked Litisaur they need a specific range of temperature to thrive.  (Sprite credit to Faithe) {Gallimelus (Click)} Name: Gallimelus Height: 5 foot 4 inch Weight: 90 lbs Pokedex Entry:These Pokemon have the ability to run up to speeds of 100 MPH. They travel in packs and if spooked will flee at a moments notice. Evolution:This Pokemon does not evolve. Physiology:Gallimelus is a Bipetal Pokemon dinosaurian Pokemon that resembles a Gallimimus. It is mostly tan colored all over it's back side, while it's face seems to be a much darker tan, or brown color. While it's underbelly is a much lighter tan or even beige color. These Pokemon are very lean and slender, making them fairly aerodynamic. This being said, their slender legs are very strong, and lead down into blunt but hooked claws that aid them in gripping the ground. These Pokemon have small and lean faces, but they have been recorded having fairly good eye sight, and hearing to boot. Their slender arms are not near as strong as their legs, but they still possess small sharp claws they use for defense if they are cornered.  (Sprite credit to Faithe) {Pfineri (Click)} Name: Pfineri Height: 1 foot Weight: 20 lbs Pokedex Entry:This Pokemon are often able to sense the nature of others, finding it easy to decide if someone is a friend or foe. Evolution:Pfineri evolves into Parahadroni Physiology:Pfineri are Bipedal Pokemon that resemble a young Parasaurolophus. Their bodies are mostly a light blue from it's face down to it's tail, while it's underbelly is an even lighter blue. These Pokemon have very strong bills they use to keep them safe while swimming at quick speeds but also to help them find and dig up food if needed. Their bills are a darker blue and seem to continue up over the tops of their head as a form of helmet. They have light pink spots on the center of their bills, as well as the underside of the helmet, or back side of their heads, are also a light pink. Their bodies have more of a roundness to them that able them to move easily in the waters. They swim quickly using their short arms with webbed fingers, and also their thick tails. They also are able to move fairly easily on land with their short nub like legs.  (Sprite credit to Faithe){Parahadroni (Click)} Name: Parahadroni Height: 5 foot 8 inches Weight: 240 lbs Pokedex Entry:These Pokemon have find tuned the ability to sense the nature of those around them. This make it easy for them to decide if something is dangerous. They use this sense to decide on if to be the one to attack first or allow them to approach. Evolution:Parahadroni does not evolve. Physiology:These are Bipedal Pokemon, that appear to resemble Parasaurolophus. Much like their first evolution, their bodies are mostly a light blue color, with a lighter blue underbelly. Their bills are much stronger now, and have been seen using them to attack and defend their young. Their bills continue up on their heads and even further back elongating their heads to create a large helmet for them to use for defense and offense. They have been seen swimming at high speeds and ramming other Pokemon with their heads. The entire top part of their heads are light pink as is the underside of their bill helmet. Their legs are much thicker and enable them to swim much faster than their previous evolution. That was promising, perhaps, knowing that these scientists had laid out such a broad space for these creatures of new life to live, he just didn’t want to wonder what had to happen to this island beforehand. Surely this island hadn’t been devoid of life before they started building this place, what kind of relocation efforts had to be made? There were far too many moralistic questions regarding this place, surely he wasn’t, or wouldn’t be, the only one asking these same questions, but someone somewhere stil found a way to push forward with such a venture, it really was baffling to say the least…
To find the actual wildlife portion of the island, there was a grimace that crossed the pirate’s features at knowing he had to take another train style mode of transportation in order to get over that way. He wasn’t fond of machinery in that way, but it wasn’t as though he could just fly over on Scarux whom he had to leave behind, and he wasn’t going to call out Bade for all the world to see, the two of them were always mindful of keeping her just out of reach, should something happen she needed to be the catalyst that no one could account for. And so it was, with Osilvey padding alongside him, Finn made the trip on this train ride to get across the island towards the sanctuaries. It only took a handful of minutes, as opposed to walking the miles journey on foot, and soon enough he was disembarking when it had come to a stop.
”Am I a fossil? Do I exist here,” the young water skipper asked as he padded out of the train with Finn, curious as to what they would see in this sanctuary part of the island. Finn smiled, glancing down at the Mudkip.

  【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfana ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the woods somewhere】Cypress listened as Elfana commented on watching to see the Frankenstein-d Pokémon alive and thriving rather than how they are stuck together, and that it was indeed sad that they were left in the less than capable hands of Galar. It was sad, and that the region was allowing it to happen was also disgusting. " You're right. But I can't imagine a corporation like this, that apparently is the 'front runner of technological advances' wanting any association or anything to do with what was done to them." She responded, taking that moment to mock the customer service voice Grace had. They moved onto the next option, if they wanted to stay at the petting zoo, or head off to the herbivore sanctuary. She looked up to the tall walls before them, and then looked back to Elfana. " I think we might want to hit this on our way back, since we will have to come back past it to get back to our hotel." Cypress thought, it did seem to make sense to her. Without any protest from the doctor it seemed, Cypress made her way over to the trams and seemed to have been made to take them to the sanctuaries. She climbed into the tram with Nincada, moving him from her shoulder to her lap as they got settled. She could only imagine it would take quite a while when the park actually opened, having to have full trams running back and forth. But luckily it was just the two of them and their Pokémon. Once they were in the trams whisked them off towards the distant wooded areas, as they left the petting zoo paddock behind. Nincada sat in her lap and enjoyed the breeze as he flittered his wings lightly in the wind. Cypress decided to take in the views as they zipped across the areas. There of course were dirt roads she could spy every so often, but everything else felt almost like they were out in the middle of no where, just on a tram. She watched in the distance, maybe she could spot signs of life, however they had to pass a large stadium looking structure, that was near a large dome. She couldn't help but feel at awe at just how large the island seemed to be. She had almost expected it to be just a theme park, even with Grace explaining it, she assumed it might have been just a hokey zoo, or park. But she was surprised just how much of the island was utilized. They soon came to a stop at a large electric fence, that was gated with a security detail. She glanced at Elfana to see how she reacted and felt about before them. Cypress wasn't in the slightest concerned about the guards, it only made sense. These were prehistoric Pokémon; they would need security to ensure the safety of the guests. What caught her attention was the buzzing electric fence. Cypress listened to the rules and guidelines they were given, as well as how to drive the jeeps through the habitats. Cypress was impressed that they were able to practically free roam. So, this might be interesting to see what the entire areas are like. She got in her own jeep and Nincada fluttered up to the roof of the jeep to feel the wind again as they went. Cypress stopped and let out Turtwig and let him into the passenger seat. She hesitated and looked over to Elfana with a wide grin. " I have a terrible idea" she said almost chuckling at the idea, as the opened the roof of the jeep, and then let out Wyatt, but into the back seat of the jeep, which his tall head sticking out the top. Cypress couldn't help but let out a laugh as it actually worked and he seemed to fit fairly okay in the whole back seat. " This is new..." The tree commented as he looked around himself. " This looked funnier than I thought it would, but are you good bad there?" She spoke looking up through the top the back to the tail head. " Yeah, it's not bad so long as you don't try to go under anything." Wyatt added, getting use to sitting in a car. She looked back to Elfana, to see how she was settling into their jeep. White Prince Of Wonderland ElfyOut in the northern most expanses of the island where nature truly was king and the sprawling land had been set aside for the roaming species that now called the island home, everything was running smoothly and properly thus far. The area was vast, complete with hills, cliff faces, thick tropical forest, open fields, rivers, and many other pieces that made the environment whole for all of the species that were housed here. There was very little outside intrusion, the trams and the gates were at the very beginning of the sanctuary, and from there the occasional automated Jeep was all that remained within the sanctuary.
At the gate entrance, there was a quick spark that seemed almost short out some of the power systems though, and while the fence itself remained intact and nothing immediately seemed out of the ordinary, the gate itself whirred and shuttered before closing indefinitely, leaving the handful of park attendants outside of the fence line. The trams traveling on this section of track moving back and forth between the main portion of the park also stopped, losing their power and shutting off entirely. The automated system for the Jeeps that functioned within the fence line of the sanctuary flickered, and the steering mechanisms jerked on their own for only a couple of moments before the batteries gave out and the vehicles stopped moving altogether. The only capability of any sort of power connection they showed were the screens that remained in the dashboard dimly flashed with the prohibition symbol on them, and a calm automated female voice came over a speaker within the vehicle.
”Attention Attendees, we are experiencing a routine power shortage. Please remain calm, and continue to enjoy the other facilities at this time while this is remediated.”

When Elfana settled down, she found herself being dragged to the driver's side of her vehicle. Kiro wasn't about to let her start taking apart a jeep in front of the guards. This was a vacation! She wasn't allowed to get herself in trouble...yet. Elfana pouted but allowed herself to be pulled along then gently nudged into the jeep. "You are taking your new job way too seriously." Kiro let out a croaking sound that could have been a chuckle in response. After ensuring the doctor and the two younger Pokemon were secure, he climbed into the backseat. The two younger Pokemon had taken over the passenger seat- not that he was complaining. He had plenty of space to lounge while the others enjoyed the sights.
The Herbivore Sanctuary was wonderful. Elfana ended up stopping at several points to focus on taking notes and letting her Pokemon explore in a set area. Recommendation to remain within the jeep be damned. Oryx and Pantalaimon had to stay where she could see them at all times. Kiro was allowed to wander a little farther if he wanted to but he remained glued to the doctor for the most part. He would go to check on Cypress and her Pokemon when he could since Wyatt was stuck in the jeep. Elfana had been in the jeep when the power failed. The wheel jerked and the jeep veered to the left, hitting a tree dead on before shutting down. She was stunned but unharmed. Navigating the wooded area had required her to go slower than she would have in the open areas. She was checking on her Pokemon when a message began playing over a speaker in the vehicle.
”Attention Attendees, we are experiencing a routine power shortage. Please remain calm, and continue to enjoy the other facilities at this time while this is remediated.”
"No expense spared excepted for, you know, one of the most important systems." She groaned before climbing out of the jeep. Kiro began looking her over as soon as her feet hit the ground. "I'm fine. Nothing else is broken." She patted Kiro's head before going to help the two smaller Pokemon out of the jeep too. "Cypress? Are you alright?" She called to the other woman while she undid the belt that secured Pantalaimon and Oryx in the jeep. Out of their Pokeballs: Kiro, Pantalaimon

【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfana ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the woods somewhere】 Cypress was glad to see that Elfana found Wyatt towering out of the top of the jeep as funny as she did. While Elfana began to get settled and forced into her Jeep, Cypress began to take in what she was driving. He paid attention to the guards, seeing that these jeeps were a bit higher tech than she was used to. Her friend Raileigh would have loved the Jeep and getting to tear it apart and put it back together, and maybe even better. But Turtwig settled in the passenger seat while Nincada fluttered to the dash so that he could possibly see anything a bit better. Which, this only caused Turtwig to get up and try to join him on the dash. Cypress swooped her hand on the underside of his shell and set him back in the passenger seat without really paying any mind to it. He didn't pout about his rejection, but he did stand up and leaned on the door to look out the open window. Both women took off on their jeeps. It didn't seem that they followed each other, and Cypress didn't think the doctor would mind. Of course, Cypress made sure to keep the woman in her range of sight just in case. But Cypress let herself drift and drive through the fields taking in all of the sights of the sheer beauty before them. The ground was uneven just as one would expect, Nincada held on pretty well on the dash, but Turtwig bounced around the passenger seat. She wasn't too worried for him; he giggled the whole time as if it were a ride. However, she made sure look up to Wyatt as he wobbled and swayed with the bumps. He didn't seem to be bothered by the bumps and rough road. The tall tree was taking in the view as well. Being from Fortree City, Cypress really missed the beauty of nature. The calm and quiet of being out in practically no where. Quiet. Cypress drove through the fields, and continued past where Elfana stopped. Cypress wasn't too concerned about getting out of the jeep like the guards had warned. Sure, these were untrained prehistoric Pokémon, but she couldn't imagine the Pokémon wanting to cause her harm. She continued inward, and found a perch, a short cliff face, and drove up and around it and parked the jeep facing the ledge. She hopped out of the jeep, and stopped Turtwig and told him he needed to stay in the jeep. Cypress was not sure how much of a plant the fossil Pokémon would see him as. She walked around and sat on the hood of the jeep and just took everything in. She could see Elfana studying the area and taking notes just like she said she would. Cypress could see Pokémon milling about the fields, seemingly unalarmed by their presence. She assumed the scientists and staffers had acclimated them to the jeeps. There were a few she could see that were actually unfamiliar to her which she was surprised to see freely walking around. Of course, this was their home now, but just seeing an extinct Pokémon for the first time was something to see. She could see another trainer's jeep a bit further into the fields, which she found nice that they weren't the only ones in this seemingly endless sanctuary. As Elfana grew farther away, Cypress thought she had done enough watching, so she hoped back in the jeep and began to make her way down the hill. She took the slower easier route for Wyatt's sake, and began towards the wooded areas. Of course, she couldn't go in too far but at least she could keep close to someone she knew. But she got fairly close to the tree line as the power shut off to her Jeep. The wheel jerked to the side causing the Jeep to swerve to the side, and cause it to slide down a near hill. She tried to correct the steering but it was completely out. She immediately feared she would tip over and start to flip as they began to slide sideways, and she frantically reached for a Pokeball to return Wyatt, but they came to a sudden stop as they slid against a rock. Cypress let out a deep huff of air as she looked around. " Everyone okay?" Cypress asked looking around, everyone confirmed, but she did have to rescue Turtwig from the floor boards on his shell. She picked up him and climbed out. returning Wyatt to let him back out, free of the jeep as he took the moment to stretch his legs. The announcement called out that they had a power outage and it'll be fixed soon. She couldn't help but roll her eyes, she was going to have a lot to say when they found that Grace chick again. Cypress began into the wooded area, holding Turtwig, and Wyatt following along. The doctor didn't get much farther seemingly having run into a tree. " A little shaken, but we're okay." She spoke, it had scared her that Wyatt may have been gravely injured, while her two smaller Pokémon were a bit more frightened at what did happen. " You guys okay?" She asked in return, hoping they also were alright. The two women were much too far from the main gates to hear or see the shower of sparks as the power went out, there the jeeps aside there was nothing around them to power down. They weren't aware of everything going much sourer until the final announcement rang out. There were 'containment anomalies' and they needed to seek shelter immediately. Her head snapped in Wyatt's direction, she looked to him like she usually did for answers and psychic help but he had no answers. She looked back to Elfana. She was the smarter one of the two, right? " Please tell me that doesn't mean what I think it means..." She spoke but Wyatt knew what it meant, but he didn't know what to do about it. Frustration- 110 || Blizzard- 100 (3/10 freeze) || Shadow Ball- 80 (L. sp. d) || Curse- Speed lowers by one stage, attack and defense raise by one stage To his dismay, it seemed that metal machinery was really the only way to get anywhere on the island outside of going on foot, for as Finn ventured into the sanctuary and met with an attendant, he was shown a small vehicle that he could drive into the fields to get some distance between the gate and where the Pokemon would find solace in the vastness of the area. If only to go out a good distance and then leave the vehicle to walk around, knowing it would be there when he returned, that was the only reason that Finn even considered it. He’d never driven a vehicle of any kind before, but how hard could it really be? The attendant gave instruction, it seemed rehearsed whether Finn did or did not know how to control the vehicle anyway, and before too much longer he was set off. It definitely didn’t fit his style, he didn’t enjoy it after figuring out there was one pedal for moving forward and one for stopping, he didn’t much care to try any reversing or otherwise, what was the point? Everything was open, he just had to be sure not to run into the occasional rock or a tree, and once he’d made it a fair distance he was pleased with, he very quickly abandoned the vehicle to return later.
With Osilvey hopping along in the tall grasses beside him, Finn stayed a distance out from a watering hole down the way, sitting and watching the Pokemon there. In that moment then, it was almost as if he were just out in the vast wilderness somewhere in the middle of nowhere with not another human soul to see, and for that, he felt grateful. Maybe these Pokemon forged in science and not in life would actually be able to call this place home?
”I hope these humans maintain this land. They are responsible for these lives now, they should recognize the weight of what they bear now,” Bade spoke after a moment, always there behind Finn’s eyes, looking out on the species that Finn knew from some of the books and such from his parent’s museum, but never thought he would see in front of him.
”Can I go swim,” Osilvey asked then, climbing up on Finn’s knee and looking out to the lake below, and the pirate chuckled.
”Maybe in a little while, savvy? We don’t want to disturb the Pokemon down there, we’re just here to watch for now,” the pirate mused, patting Osilvey gently on his head.
Hours had passed, and Finn had been perfectly content in watching the Pokemon free roam this portion of the island, identifying a good couple of Pokemon that he remembered from the books and studies at the museum. He enjoyed his time, it was peaceful, and a giant step away from the arbitrary path he had set himself on after being marooned, but he felt that allowing himself to continue to separate himself from that path was all for the better. He did want to see other parts of the island, this portion did turn out to be more fortunate than the idea of an aquarium of sorts, and so he had started to make his way back to the vehicle he had brought out. When he went to turn it back on however, it did not respond, the screen was flashing with a sort of warning sign.
”Aye, that’s why you don’t trust technology for anything,” he grumbled, but then an automated voice spoke out from what remaining power it did show, stating that they should find shelter immediately for a containment anomaly.
”What do you know of this Bade,” the pirate asked, looking around his immediate area, he couldn’t imagine that this had anything to do with the free roaming Pokemon in this section here, it had to mean that something somewhere though had broken free, and it was dangerous if they were meaning this as some kind of warning.
”I’m not sure Phineas, with this island inhibiting abilities and powers like the human spoke of, I don’t have the capability to see anything…,” the wyvern spoke then.
”Right then. We should assume the worst and go on the defensive then. No telling what they’re worried about being free, but looking for tree cover to not be in the open is the first right step,” the pirate spoke then. If anything, he just needed to make it back to the main gates, and at that point whatever this warning was will have been cleared up? Surely these humans and scientists were prepared for such an event taking place, and given enough time nothing else had to happen. That said though, he wasn’t going to take his chances, if it were anything regarding one of these carnivores that the woman Grace spoke of, Finn was not about to end up hunted. Not on his life… Or could he even make that promise any more? Nevermind that…
”Osilvey, this way. We’re going into the trees,” Finn spoke then, for the time being leaving Vitus within his Pokeball. If something happened, he needed to make sure that the turtle would be in prime condition to take charge.
Moving across the fields and towards the tree line, Finn made sure to keep his senses sharp, there was no telling what else might dwell in the forests. If they truly meant to keep the herbivores and carnivores separate, then that shouldn’t pose too much of a problem, but that didn’t mean that these herbivores weren’t dangerous. Or any of the other Pokemon that might be around for that matter. Even crossing a Tangela could end the wrong way, getting strangled to death, and these Pokemon were likely to be less akin to humans by a very high degree.
”Why is the tree moving,” Osilvey questioned as they continued towards the tree line, and Finn stopped a moment. Trees didn’t just move of their own accord, but he tried to follow the mud skipper’s gaze, and sure enough there was a tree in the near distance that seemed to be moving not just from wind blowing, but actually moving through the other trees. Pokemon or not, he wasn’t sure that he should find out, until he could swear he heard voices coming from within the trees as well. Now that was promising, there was strength in numbers, or it might be some park attendants too that could clear some things up. He motioned for Osilvey to remain quiet, and they worked their way closer to the tree line, he wanted to make sure he did actually hear voices before diving right in. After easing a little bit closer, he did in fact hear another voice, a woman’s voice by the sounds of it, and while he maintained a distance just in case, he did call out into the tree line.

"That means exactly what you think it does." The ancient Pokemon were loose and they were currently trapped out in the open. All things considered, they could have been way worse off than they were. They could have been somewhere like the Carnivore Sanctuary or worse- the Aviary. Many of the prehistoric Pokemon were new to her so she didn't want to make any assumptions about their behavior but she liked their chances better in the Herbivore Sanctuary than she did anywhere else. Especially given the condition she was in. Bruised ribs and a broken arm wouldn't do her any favors if she had to try to outrun an angry fossil. She leaned against the jeep, taking a few seconds to actually consider their situation before speaking again. "Do we find a safe place and wait it out or should we make our way back towards the main area?" She patted the hood of the jeep before continuing. "I might be able to get this thing working again- assuming the system isn't completely fried." Without knowing exactly what killed the power she couldn't make any real promises. They might be better off on foot even if they got the jeep running again. All of the noise might make them into a moving target for anything in the area.
The Rufflet on her shoulder let out a startled squawk when someone called out to them. The poor thing still hadn't settled down any after the jeep crashed. Elfana didn't protest when he moved to hide beneath her hair. "Two someones!" She called back without any hesitation. Having an extra person around could only be good for them in their current situation. If they encountered any hostile fossils they would likely need the help. "If you're injured I can help you out! It should be safe here for the moment!" She hoped. Elfana looked to Cypress then Wyatt, hoping that he could confirm they actually were safe. Come to think of it, she probably should have consulted Cypress before inviting the person to join them...It was probably fine. (Earlier that day) Quinn and her team rode the next tram to the herbivore sanctuary. It dropped them off at the entrance gates of the exhibit, which were connected to very tall, electrified fences. It appeared that to explore the exhibit, they would have to ride in a four-wheel drive vehicle of some kind. Unfortunately for Quinn and her team who were trying to at least see all of the parks before it got too late, it appeared the cars were automatically run and therefore would not go above a certain speed. “I suppose we won’t be able to see all of the island today. Though, nothing seems amiss so far. I suppose we could at least be more thorough with this section and perhaps try for the carnivore habitat tomorrow,” Quinn said to her team before turning to the attendee/security guard guiding people into the cars, “We’d like to ride through the exhibit.” The person eyed Quinn a bit closely, trying to figure out if he knew her or not before letting her into the car. Once everyone was settled, with Quinn behind the wheel, the car jostled forward and moved at its staggeringly fast pace of 5mph along an invisible path it knew. “Keep an eye out, everyone!” Quinn called out.

(Earlier that day) After about 10 minutes of keeping a close eye on everything they could see, Quinn realized that perhaps she was being a bit too paranoid about the island. “I suppose we haven’t seen anything yet to prove that something is to go wrong… Perhaps… We can relax for a bit and enjoy the ride,” She announced to Cyan, Lux, and Sakura. As such, they all relaxed a bit and truly began to enjoy the sites. Quinn found it a bit remarkable how much greenery there was around them, along with the many Pokemon, including some more she had not seen before. However, only about 5 minutes after Quinn’s announcement did things turn for the worse. Suddenly, the screen of the car flickered for a brief moment. “That was odd…” Quinn glared at the screen until the car lurched forward and stopped unexpectedly. A moment later, the screen changed to show a banned entry symbol and a voice came from the car about how they are experiencing “routine power outages.” “I suppose I spoke too soon about there being nothing to worry about.”

(Earlier that day) At this point in the day, the sun should have been blazing down with the mid-afternoon heat. However, it had seemed that an incoming storm had created clouds that blocked out the sun, causing it to darken much earlier in the day than anticipated. Quinn had noticed the clouds rolling in earlier and knew for sure they would not be able to get to the carnivore habitat today. That being said, she didn’t quite predict that the clouds would cause the island to be as dark as it was, let alone the power outage that followed. Thankfully for them, Luxovious could work as a living glowstick to light their path if need be. “Perhaps we should wait a moment to see if the power comes back on before we act,” Quinn suggested to her team. The four of them sat in the dark forest for a bit, with only Lux’s glow providing light for them. A few minutes later, though, they heard a rather loud sound of an explosion along with possibly glass shattering. They couldn’t quite make out the second part of the sound, but whatever it was, they all knew it wasn’t good. The message playing from the screen immediately changed, now saying “Ladies and gentlemen, due to a containment anomaly, all guests must take shelter immediately.” “This is exactly what I was afraid would happen… At least the Pokemon here seem friendly enough. Let’s try to figure something out to get us out of here.” Quinn said with both concern and annoyance at their situation.

Elfana confirmed what she did not want to have confirmed. Fossils had gotten out of their pens one way or another and they were now in quite a bit of danger. Cypress had been in many dangerous situations before, but she almost always had a game plan and a way to execute the plan. Now, she was promised a vacation and safety, but now both were gone. This wasn't a deviation from the plan or a plan B, this was a rug being ripped out from under her. She would definitely be stressed either way, but now it wasn't just her or Wyatt in danger, but now Turtwig and Nincada were pulled into it as well as the Doctor and her Pokémon. There was much more at risk then just them to get out. At least it appeared that Elfana and her Pokémon were okay, and they were for the most part unharmed. Elfana asked the next best question, seek shelter or run for it. Cypress frowned her brows in thought as he looked out in the direction of the fields they came from. She knew the Carnivore Sanctuary wasn't too far away, so it was clear aside from milling Pokémon, but that could change very quickly. She looked back to the doctor and paused, trying to think of the best option. " Pretending you knew these Pokémon, do predator Pokémon hunt for food more so during the day or night time?" Cypress asked the doctor. Elfana was smarter than Cypress and seemed to be studying them, so maybe she could pick a good guess. " It's clear now, but that could change if all Pokémon got out. I don't want to run into a wild Tyrantrum or Aerodactyl, or what ever else this Island has living on it, while we're sitting ducks." Cypress added. She then thought she might be able to get the Jeep started again if it wasn't fried. " The jeep might be the best option. It might be noisy but at least that means you can have some form of protection around you." Wyatt offered from his tail head as it coiled around him to speak. Cypress heard a second voice from the direction she had come from. She turned back to see a young male coming into the area with a Mudkip. The Doctor offered that they were two people and offered medical assistance if he needed it. Cypress' mouth fell open to comment as she got a better look at the male, but closed it. Now wasn't the time to poke fun or make jokes, due to the fact that he looks like a literal pirate. Normally Cypress was a loner. Elfana was okay because she got it. She was independent and a loner as well. But now she was happy to have company, and if he just had a mudkip maybe he needed help. Well that was very fortunate, there was strength in numbers and the more of them that could help keep an eye on things, the better a chance they had at making it back to the main portion of the park alive.
”Not injured, not yet, but I’ll take that for the moment,” Finn replied then, calling out to the voice that had asked if he might be injured. Injured was a relative term for him at this point, but he wasn’t going to bother over that as he started to tredge into the trees with Osilvey in tow, glancing back to make sure that there wasn’t anything targeting him as he’d wandered off. The fields were clear still for the most part, it was fortunate that perhaps most of the Pokemon in the area were going to remain docile, though he still wouldn’t want to consider himself safe, not by a long shot.
Finn came to the sight of wreckage in the near distance, it looked like the two women had been driving the vehicles when things went awry, and it was fortunate that no one was hurt from a crash. The two women looked to be of similar stature, and even similar age perhaps, though one had fiery colored hair and the other was much more natural toned in her looks. Among them he saw a Rufflet on one woman’s shoulder, and a Toxicroak that stood next to one of the vehicles, but nothing else in the immediate area, so he had to assume that those two Pokemon did belong to either of the two women. He came closer, standing across from them then, glancing down to make sure Osilvey was in close proximity.
”Aye, not near enough for it to matter. I was watching a couple of herds, there’s a water hole down that way a ways, but nothing followed me into the trees,” Finn mentioned, gesturing out to the east from where he had come.
”We’ll have to pick our poison though. Out in the clear, we’re more likely to be seen by the bigger things, but here in the trees, I remember seeing that there were Victreebel and Tangrowth in these parts, I won’t want to cross the likes of them if they might be disturbed,” Finn mentioned, it really wasn’t an ideal situation either way, but now that there were more of them, that would help for the time being.
”We’re due north east of the gates, I’d have to venture a guess at a couple of miles at the least. We should stay as far west as is reasonable though, lest we want to cross one of those carnivores that might have managed to break its bonds,” the pirate spoke then, he recalled the map of the island well enough, knowing that they were perpendicular with the territory that was set aside for the carnivores on the island, and if they could help it, it’d be best to stick with things that weren’t going to be as likely to be able to fell something with one swipe of some vicious claws.

It hadn't taken the Turtwig long to notice he had another potential friend to play with. He ran right over to the Mudkip and went about introducing himself. Or trying to at any rate. He ended up babbling a bit. "Hi! My name is Pantalaimon! The lady in the metal thing is my trainer! Do you want to be friends?" The babbling was temporarily stopped when Kiro knelt down beside him and gently pressed a finger against his shell. It acted as a sort of pause button and got the Turtwig to look up at him. "If you and your friends decide to play, remain where we can see you. Don't go into the treeline." A Tangrowth or a Victreebel might not have been an issue for something like a Toxicroak or an Alolan Exeggutor but they could be dangerous for a couple of Turtwig and a Mudkip. Kiro croaked a short greeting at the pirate before returning to help Elfana with the jeep. The babbling resumed soon after. "Miss Cypress has a Turtwig too! He's awesome! Do you wanna play with us?"
"Competitor sabotage, a Team, or pure negligence. Which do you guys think caused this?" Elfana had opened up the block bot and was busy connecting it to the jeep. Since the jeep itself looked like it should have been functioning just fine she was assuming that it was its connection to the park that was causing it to malfunction. Between disabling that and letting it drain power from her bot she hoped that it would be enough to get it to work again. "I'm currently leaning towards negligence." He had brought information as well as he answered her question. There were some Pokemon nearby at a watering hole, this meant that they might be visited by Pokemon coming and going to said watering hole, but she could only hope these Pokemon were calm and satisfied by getting water. But either way, he made sure nothing had followed him in, this eased some of her worry, feeling as though they may have been a bit safer than she originally thought. Cypress listened to both, The young male had more knowledge of their surroundings, seemingly had ventured around the sanctuary more. Causing Cypress to regret taking a moment of relaxation. She might have already had a game plan had she actually drove around the area more. While Elfana had more knowledge of Pokemon and their possible behavioral patterns. The male wanted to stay west to avoid the carnivores, while they both agreed the open areas meant to much visibility against them. " So it sounds like we want to find safety or shelter before night time." Cypress added, if the smaller ones are more likely pack predators then they might want to get moving. " A pack of anything is bad, but I really don't want to run into either of them." Cypress added, looking further into the forested area, scanning the plant life with a grimace. She knew if a Tangrowth snared them it wouldn't be good, or worse Victreebel. " Victreebel live in colonies, so if we start seeing Bellsprout we should turn the other way." Cypress told them, turning back to face the two. " I can't imagine the lack of abilities has neutralized the acid in them." She added, hammering home her main concern of running into those plants. It almost made her wonder why they were in the sanctuary. She crossed her arms as she looked on as Elfana worked on the Jeep, trying to get it started. While she began to open up it's computers, she couldn't help but lean in and try taking a peak. But as she did, the doctor posed a good question, at least a thought provoking one. What caused it. " I'm pretty sure most of the teams are too stupid to pull something like this." Cypress replied with a roll of her eyes. Usually the admins of the teams were fairly efficient, despite all of their huge egos. But they were almost always surrounded by morons slowing them down in her opinion, and experience. " My vote goes to negligence, of their own pure stupidity." She shrugged, looking back to the young man, curious on his take. He seemed fairly competent but she didn't know the male just yet. The doctor had already proven herself to be quite intelligent even if she didn't know her all that well just yet. Below them, after hearing his friend speak, Turtwig poked his head out from the taller grass that he has been sitting within. He hopped out and trotted along behind Pant after he had introduced him as his friend. He nodded and smiled to the new small Pokemon. " My trainer is Cypress, Her, like Pant said." The turtle spoke, nodding his head, and using his sprout to point at his trainer, beaming happily at his new possibly friend. " Yeah! Lets play! Pant is awesome and suuuper fun to!" The turtle added gleefully, clearly not grasping the situation they had been put in. Mean while, Nincada fluttered down off of Cypress's shoulder and landed on Turtwig's shell. " Maybe it could be a game that's quiet where we stay close to the trainers?" The bug offered in a small voice, looking back and forth between the two Pokemon Turtwig was speaking with. Meanwhile the small Pokemon began to converse with each other, Wyatt side stepped and coiled his tail head around towards the Toxicroak. " I'll keep a pair of eyes on them for us." Either that or they’d found it that way since no one seemed to be injured from the small bit of wreckage, but either way he felt it futile. Those things were good for nothing anyway, if one click of a button can shut it all off, he didn’t feel the need to bother with them.
”Blast those machines. They’re not worth the trouble if they’re so easy to fall apart,” Finn sneered, he wasn’t going to fiddle with it, he had no knowledge of how to, but if she felt it was necessary… There had to be another way to travel should it not work… They began speaking to the various dangers of what could be in the area, larger carnivores, the tougher ones like Tyrantrum would be a right problem, but finding a swarm of Victreebel that would sooner snatch them up than they would be able to turn the other way wasn’t fun either. It seemed like they really just had to chose the lesser of two evils.
”Pack predators would be a nasty way to go, I’d rather fend off one of the beasts than deal with a hunter,” he agreed, though tree cover would be no help there, that would only be a prime area for a pack of predators to form a kill circle. Finn was trying to think of anything that could help them get moving while remaining in a moderately open area, but not enough to cause issue with anything big that might find them while the women began to ponder what the cause of all of this was. The vote was for pure negligence it seemed, and Finn really had to agree. Surely a base like Team Aqua might like to get their hands on some of the modified water type Pokemon that might be here, but there were far too many things that Finn and Bade had both discussed that just didn’t sit well with him.
”Aye, I’ll toss my coin in for negligence,” the pirate agreed.
”These scientists believed they could play Arceus, claim their science is better than the natural order of things, more impressive even. You don’t ignore morality like that without making mistakes along the way,” he huffed, he would one hundred percent believe if nothing else that this was just the failing work of those who thought they had everything under control. Control was never going to be a part of the equation in a place like this.
Standing beside him in the grass, Osilvey stayed close to his Captain, but did look as he saw a Turtwig scurrying towards him. Osilvey was delighted, seeing something his own size! All of his other crew mates were much bigger than he was, and that did make it hard to interact with them, but he knew that he could hold his salt, so at least he knew he belonged.
”My name is Osilvey! This is my Captain, his name is Phineas,” the Mudkip returned, smiling wide now from gill to gill. A Toxicroak came around for just a brief moment, telling them to stay close, and he knew Finn would say the same thing, but he was tough like his crew, he would be fine!
”I’ll play! That sounds fun,” the water type beamed, and his tail wagged at the second Turtwig coming up to him, naming his human as Cypress. Then there was a small, quiet voice, a Nincada that came with Turtwig, but he didn’t pay it much mind.
”But, there’s no water? Swimming is fun, we should go find some water to swim in and play,” the Mudkip replied, he still desperately wanted to go swim, why was that so hard to find?
Finn was keeping an ear on Osilvey, and he knew that Bade would watch the mudskipper too, but when the water type spoke of finding water, that was exactly what Finn had been looking for.
”Aye, I’ve got it. If we can find a river, I can take us through the water. It’ll be open enough so we can keep an eye out for things, but keep us moving in a solid direction, and I can imagine that a Tyrantrum or such won’t want to swim after us,” he suggested, it sounded like the perfect solution to him.

"Your trainer is a captain? That's so cool!" Pantalaimon had no idea what a captain was but it sounded awesome! That was good enough for him! There was a soft flutter of wings before Oryx landed next to the Turtwigs. "Maybe they'll let you swim when we see water next?" Oryx wasn't sure where the closest water source was but he wasn't about to let any of them wander off to find out. Who knows what scary things could be lurking in the trees! "A quiet game sounds really fun!" Pantalaimon looked at the others before tilting his head. "What games are quiet and let us stay close?" Kiro had told him to stay where they could watch them. The Turtwig didn't want to upset his team leader by disobeying. The Toxicroak in question gave a soft croak in response when Wyatt said he would watch them. That left him open to patrol the treeline. Wyatt could handle everything up above. He would keep watch on the ground.
"Walk or drive, the river sounds ideal either way." Assuming they hadn't brought back any predators that favored water. Even if her arm wouldn't allow her to swim across, she could find somewhere to hide by the water until things settled down. She stopped fidgeting with the jeep and bot, looking over their connection before trying to turn the jeep on again. It struggled for a second before starting up. "Yes! Got it!" She grinned as she hopped out of the driver's seat. "The bot should keep it powered for a while." The doctor hopped into the passenger's side instead, checking the wiring to make sure it would hold up. "One of you are going to have to drive so I can keep an eye on it. Unlike some people I prefer being able to give some warning when things are about to shutdown." She shrugged and patted the block bot. "Also- the system that set a speed limit is offline. Try not to go too fast anyway. It'll drain the bot quicker." Out of their Pokeballs: Kiro, Pantalaimon

【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfana ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the woods somewhere】 The group seemed to unanimously agree, safety and shelter was the plan. The young man did not seem very keen on the idea of the jeep, which Cypress didn't understand. If they could be inside the jeep that was possibly one barrier between them and the outside Pokemon. She was already able to tell the differences between him and them. Outfit of choice aside, he was quite a bit younger then them so she thought that might be where her thought originated. Either way, he did seem level headed so she didn't want to judge him too quickly. Despite appearing younger, she dressed old fashioned. Very very old fashioned. So maybe that was also it. It also was three for three on negligence. They all agreed that these people build something too great, something they couldn't control, and it back fired. "Aye?" Cypress questioned, with an amused expression. She couldn't help herself. He was dressed like a pirate, and now he was speaking like one. She couldn't hold the teasing or sarcasm in. It was the one joy she was able to hold onto in this mess, so she wasn't to regretful of her comments. She just hoped he could take a joke or she'd have to dial it back. "I don't think they thought they were playing Arceus as much as I think they thought they could make a lot of money on some stupid faulty science." Cypress added her two cents in as she tapped her foot against a near by tree, that wasn't Wyatt. She didn't know if it was a prehistoric tree, but it was a tree grown on this trap of an island so it made her feel better at least. The young male had another idea that wasn't too bad at all, finding a river. Elfana agreed whether they walked or could get the jeep going. She nodded at the ideas, agreeing that that was correct finding water was a must have. But once again, she couldn't help herself. "Oh, you can take us?" She asked looking down to his Mudkip. Granted, Cypress was fully aware he could have two other Pokemon with him. He could have a wailord for all she knew, she just thought the picture she was looking at was a bit funny. She definitely wasn't meaning to joke on the idea that he just had a mudkip, she wasn't a hypocrite, both her and Elfana had turtwigs. She just couldn't help but comment on the hilarity of him offering to take them down a river when he was showing off his mudkip. Before she could poke any further, the jeep's engine roared to life once again as Elfana exclaimed that she had revived the thing. "Nice" Cypress spoke as she moved closer to it. Elfana made her way into the passenger seat and informed then there was no cap on speed anymore, but the faster they go the quicker the battery will drain. "Slow and steady, I can do." She volunteered as she climbed into the driver seat.
Turtwig was happy that their new friend was friendly and happy to play. He introduced himself as Osilvey, and that he was with the male. The Mudkip offered playing in water, which that did sound like so much fun, but Kiro did tell them to stay near by... They might have gotten in a lot of trouble if they left to go find water. But Oryx offered that if they cross water in the future they could play together. "Yeah! If the cross water you can show us how to swim just as good as you!" Turtwig offered, assuming that the water type was a good swimmer. The next course of action was finding a game. Turtwig knew they couldn't play tag or hide n seek. Neither games were fun if you had to stay in one place. He hummed as he thought of a good game. Still perched on his shell, Nincada noticed that Cypress and Elfana had soon climbed onto the jeep. That meant they were about to be on the move, so he thought of a good game for a car ride. "I Spy is a fun game." The bug offered. "You can look out of the windows of the jeep and play." Nincada offered the three young Pokemon. Forgetting the irony of the fact that he had very poor eye sight. Either way he knew they were loading up so he fluttered up into the Jeep and perched himself on the back of Cypress's seat. "Yeah! That could be fun!" Turtwig agreed, having not really paid attention to what the trainers had said, and just began to follow Nincada and climbed into the jeep after him. Cypress had returned Wyatt, sure it had been fun having him towering out the top of he Jeep, but with Elfana, the new guy, and all their Pokemon there just wouldn't be enough room. Cypress figured he might be thankful for this. Cypress gave everyone time to load into the jeep and get comfortable, as they could at least. Once they did she pulled away from the tree cautiously, watching Elfana to see if she wanted her to stop. For all Cypress knew this thing blow at any second. But once they were ready to go, she began onward through the trees. She had taken the male's and Elfana's comment on keeping away from the carnivore sanctuary and began to head away form it. Turtwig smiled to the male, but then turned and bounded for the opposite window and looked out it to start their game. "Ummmm I spy with my eye something.... Blue!" Turtwig began deciding on something in the distance for them to guest on. He couldn't make it too obvious! Cypress tired to ease them through the line of trees, but the uneven ground didn't make it all that easy. She didn't want to jostle anyone to much, or run the battery down too much, but she still wanted to make ground cover, so she tried to take it at an easy speed.
They got a good distance, but before they got too far, suddenly Cypresses driver side door was flung open. She flinched and went to break as she reached out to pull the door closed. A blue vine wrapped around her wrist and yanked her out of the jeep, leaving it to veer off once again. He could have already started through the tree line and started to look for signs of water in the time the red headed woman was tinkering with the heap of junk. There was no point in leaving anyone behind though, the goal now was survival and managing to get back to the main portion of the island, what kind of morality could he speak to if he was just trying to fend for himself with little regard for the others that were trapped same as him?
”Arrogance and ignorance are one in the same when things like greed come into play. After this one can only hope that these Pokemon will be properly cared for when no one will come to a death trap theme park. They didn’t ask to be here, and now that they are, there’s no where else that they can go,” Finn lamented. Surely there was no possible way that this whole fiasco would go unheard of, this place was supposed to be global news and everyone was going to be waiting to see how this demographic testing day went. Now that its been proven that this place is not sustainable, what will happen to the Pokemon? They don’t have natural habitats that they can return to, their ecosystems had long since changed, would they even be able to survive on their own if some were to escape this place? Their natural instincts could only take them so far in an environment that wasn’t theirs… He didn’t want to dwell on it… At least not until he himself could be safe, and then maybe he could do some advocating for the souls that were now subject to whatever would happen to this place after.
Having mentioned finding a river to take them south through the island, it seemed that everyone was on board, though the brunette haired woman seemed to have a small quirk at his comment of being able to take them across. Osilvey was his own strength, the little water skipper was stronger than any would know just by looking at him, but Finn could see there was just a bit of doubt? Sarcasm, or maybe even disbelief? He was younger than the two women he could tell, and already he’d dismissed the small commentary on his vernacular. He wasn’t a spoiled sport, but he had a right mind to not have his integrity floundered. After all, he didn’t have much else to his name in death.
”You jest. I’m a right Captain with a proper crew. Young Osilvey is worth his salt, but my first mate is savvy for the job,” Finn returned, and then the vehicle came to life at the work of the mechanic.
Paying little mind to the humans for now, Osilvey was still elated on having a handful of Pokemon his own size around. Even the Nincada, and the Rufflet, they were still much smaller than the rest of his crew, he could stand next to one of them and be able to see more than their foot. And his crew didn’t like to play much…
”A quiet game,” he pondered for a moment, but then he really tried to think… Did he know any “games”?
”I don’t think I know any games,” he mentioned after a moment, perplexed then at the thought. But it was short lived, his existential wonderings on what was a game and how did one play games, and did he know any games and just didn’t know it. They were starting to move and load into the vehicle that had started somehow, and Turtwig said they could play I Spy. He wasn’t sure what that was, but it sounded fun with his new friends! He hopped up into the vehicle with the other Pokemon, getting settled in with Finn in the back seat, and as it started to move along he tried his best to see out the window, but he was rather short… Then Turtwig said he saw something blue…
”Oh, you found the water? Where is it,” Osilvey queried, leaning up on his front legs against the door and trying to see out, though with his short legs it was more like looking up. In a quick moment though, everything stopped and Osilvey was thrust to the side as the vehicle jerked, and then there was screaming as one of the humans was gone from her seat.
”Bloody hell,” Finn cursed as the vehicle jerked, the unexpected force of it all causing him to start. It veered without the woman who was driving controlling its direction, and right into another tree it went as it came to a sudden and sharp stop. Finn held himself fast, trying not to hit his head on the window or the seat in front of him, but Osilvey was not so fortunate as he was tossed and tumbled around like a ball. There was screaming, and Finn could only understand that the brunette woman was missing now, he didn’t see what had pulled her out of her seat. He tried to work the handle on his door so he could get out of the vehicle to help, when he only just managed to catch the sound and sight of something charging them from the side.
”Look out,” he shouted, hoping to garner the attention of the woman still in the vehicle with him, and he scrambled then to get out the other side. All of the small Pokemon were tossed around in the back seat, they all needed to get out lest they wanted to get trapped.
”Hurry, hurry get out,” Finn rushed, grabbing the door handle and flinging it open before there was the distinct sound of something coming into contact with metal, and the vehicle was struck. The force was so great that as Finn had been on his hands and side trying to move across the back seat, he and Osilvey and anyone else that wasn’t secure were tossed right out onto the grass as the tires skid along the ground, unable to hold their place against the force. Finn grunted as he hit the ground, trying to roll out of the way, and he stood as quickly as he could orient himself. His emerald eyes were sharp, he was on the offensive now, and while he would have typically gone for one of the cutlass at his waist, he knew that it would do no good. He was faced now with an enormous beast, one of the herbivores that this island had claimed to be unique to them. It was adorned with giant plates along its back and seemed to be covered in a sort of armor, and brandished a spiked tail that it managed to pull out of the now incredibly damaged and irreparable side of the vehicle. The living fossil huffed and bellowed, obviously disturbed at their driving through its territory, and its tail swung behind it, ready to make its next strike.
”Sorry mate, we don’t mean you any harm,” Finn breathed before drawing out a Pokeball, and from it Vitus lumbered out with bared cannons.
”So I’m just the muscle now, is that it,” the water type glowered, Finn knew that Bade was keeping him in line with what was going on, likely including that they had no access to their powers or otherwise.
”You’ve been brought to worse duties,” the pirate returned, knowing the he and Vitus both had been tasked with many things in their young time on their ship. He didn’t remain where he stood for much longer though, looking to move out of the way and starting to gather up the small Pokemon that he could in his arms, for the herbivore lunged with its great weight and moved to strike with its tail, but Vitus held fast and braced himself, digging his heels into the dirt, and he was able to catch the fossil’s tail in its swing, ready to take on his fight.Stegomatus | Lv. 79 | HP 520

【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfana & Finn ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the woods somewhere】 In the Jeep, Turtwig was jolted around as it jerked and ran into a tree. He had been knocked into the floor boards, but thanks to his tough shell, he was okay. He was able to stand back up and hop back up to the seat and look out the window. "The blue got Cypress! The blue got Cypress!" He shouted as he scrambled to climb over the door and jump out the window. Nincada frantically fluttered out of the window and grabbed the Turtwigs shell and tried to keep him from falling, but was pulled down with him.He softened the landing for sure but they still tumbled fairly hard. The two Pokemon raced into the shrubbery ahead of Elfana and charged after Cypress.
Cypress was fortunate enough to be in the shape that she was in. As she was drug quickly across the ground, she was able to use her strong core muscles to pull back and swing her legs around herself. This enabled her to sit up rather than be dragged on her stomach. In her new position she leaned down and bit down as hard as she could on the vine holding her arm. The vine quickly unwrapped itself, and let her go, causing her to slide and roll to a stop. She scrambled to get back on her feet, but found herself at the feet of a rather large Tangela. "Wonderful" She spat sarcastically as she began to back away from the Pokemon. It let out a cry as it knocked Cypress backwards with one of it's vines. She landed with a grunt of pain, as Turtwig and Nincada came bursting into the area. "Unhand-Um-I mean Unvine my trainer!" Turtwig shouted as heroically as he could muster. The Turtwig charged the larger Pokemon and began to try and headbutt the Pokemon, but was flicked away by one on it's vines. The starter landed, but luckily not on his shell and was quick to jump back up and charge once more. He began to scratch and attack the Pokemon the best he could. But the Tangela swiped the starter away again. Cypress finally had managed to get up from the ground, saw Turtwig get knocked back, and that he already was in rough shape. She moved to him and held him back, and began to dig in her back for Wyatt's Pokeball. Before she could release the tree, Nincada was already swarming the clump of vines. The ball of vines swung at the bug, but he was very fast in the air. He only got hit twice, and managed to scratch up the bug pretty good. This didn't knock it out but it did cause the Pokemon to flee. Cypress let out a sigh of relief as she picked up Turtwig with one of her hands and Nincada flew to her shoulder.
The woman began to make her way back to the others. She was able to spot Elfana first, but soon she was able to see the young male as well. She was in a bit rougher shape than she had originally been. Her shirt had gotten torn in a few places, as well as she had a number of scs and cuts from the shrubbery she had gotten yanked through. This she was fine with, it didn't bother her much. But her free hand, the one that was used to yank her out of the jeep and drag her was throbbing. She held Turtwig with her good hand, and was nursing the other wrist against her chest as she hobbled her way back. "I'm okay!" She called out, as loud as she dared, as she grew closer to the others. Now a bit more weary of the trees around her. "We're okay, just banged up from a tangela." She explained, looking down to Turtwig, and back to the others. "I heard battling, are you guys okay?" She asked looking to the two and grimacing at the status of the jeep that Elfana had just fixed." " {Battle Overview (Click)}[Tangela 150/150]

He knew it really meant no other harm than being territorial and something was obviously wrong with its surroundings as they moved through, but they couldn’t risk getting hurt themselves as Vitus bellowed and struck one last time, leaving the Stegomatus with little choice but to turn and leave them be. All three of them had been drug into some kind of battle, and for the brunette haired woman that was quite literal as she had been drug out of the vehicle and across the grass, but as Finn and Vitus made sure that their largest foe was gone through the trees, both women were coming back together having also fended off their attackers. Everyone seemed fine for the moment, the brunette was scd a bit now from being drug along the ground, but if they were all still standing, that was enough for now.
Finn was trying to figure what their next move should be when there was thunder and lightning streaking across the sky. A streak of lightning flooded the sky around them with light for a brief moment, and the accompanying thunder clash was loud and prominent, it was very close. Rain started to fall, but in the distance the same direction as the lightning strike, it was obvious there were many now disturbed Pokemon that were moving through the trees…
”We need to start moving… Not only have we disrupted this part of their forest, it seems like this storm might only cause us more trouble…” Finn huffed, wiping his hair out of his face now as the rain started to pick up, but Osilvey was delighted.
”Look! The water came to us!”

Velvet entered the steamy jungle-like herbivore sanctuary. She could almost feel the frizz in her hair increasing with the humidity, though that was absolutely the least of her worries right about now. The storm overhead was rumbling and the sky kept getting darker, and as scared as she was, Velvet steeled herself, deciding to just be brave and do what needed to be done. "H-hello...?" Velvet called out into the jungle, as loudly as she dared. She knew that any Pokemon, herbivore, carnivore, or whatever else, could be super dangerous to her right now. Even if they didn't have their normal elemental attacks, there were a lot that were large and heavy or had sharp teeth and claws or all three and she didn't want to alert any of them to her presence. "Is... Is anyone around here? Fellow travelers?" Her voice seemed to absorb right into the leaves and underbrush around her, or into the wet air. She didn't hear anyone else. Unfortunately, something nearby did hear her, and a big yellow pod slithered quietly down from the trees behind her. She heard only a hissing as a warning, and as she whipped around a blob of purple acid narrowly missed hitting her right in her abdomen. It left behind a bunch of sizzling holes in the fabric of her dress, and she shook as she spotted the attacker, a huge creature like a pitcher plant with teeth. It hissed menacingly, and she didn't have time to whip out her phone to check to see what it was, but she resolved to do so later as she gently tossed Applin down to defend her. Velvet quickly realized that something had changed. Suddenly it hit her that the Pokemon had shot acid at her. That was a normal move, that wasn't just a bash or a slap or a nibble. Oh, no. Impossibly, Applin looked healthier and stronger after that very lucky fight. He seemed to puff up a bit and his apple armor looked shinier and redder than before and he was raring to go. Velvet laughed a little, despite herself, then stifled it as she remembered how much danger she was in here. She picked up Applin again and they kept moving, still trying their best to listen for other people or for friendly Pokemon or... anything that might mean safety. In numbers, in shelter, whatever they could do. Another of the same Pokemon appeared in front of Velvet. She thought about what to do as it swayed in the air, facing away, but knew it was only a matter of time before it spotted them, if it hadn't already sensed them through its vines or something of that nature.
