Cyan loosened his tension a bit but was not fully convinced, so he remained vigilant. Quinn stood up from the ground and pulled out her Pokedex. She figured it may not be of much use, but decided to scan the odd creature with it to try to learn more about it. As suspected, the device showed her a screen stating the specimen was unknown. That being said, it seemed to be functioning as normal. She pulled out a Pokeball wondering if they too worked again with Pokemon abilities and moves no longer being suppressed. She then turned back to the unknown Pokemon who was gazing at her and the devices with great wonder. “You must be even more confused than we are. There seems to have been a disaster on this island and things aren’t how they should be. We are trying to escape and find safety. You can come with us if you choose. You just need to tap the button on this Pokeball so we can keep you safe with us,” Quinn said before moving the Pokeball in her open hand toward the Pokemon.
It looked at the ball in Quinn’s hand curiously for a moment before letting out an excited chirp, seemingly grasping enough of what Quinn had said. It tapped the button with its snout before the Pokeball absorbed the creature.
