 The Carnivore Sanctuary is as far from the Main Hub as you can get on the island, next to the Herbivore Sanctuary, but it is well worth the travel. Automated Trams ride too and from the Sanctuary, making it easy to get to there as well as to other attractions. Upon arriving at the entrance of the Sanctuary, the tram will stop at a five story tall electric fence, with multiple watch points at the top. A staff member will explain the rules and guidelines of the Sanctuary. Each Guest will have a state of the art gyroscope cart that can seat up to four riders. The Gyroscope will start out as just four open seats but once everyone is buckled in, the very thick glass sides will close around the riders. The staff member will ensure that the Gyroscope was tested for absolute safety, and could withstand more than one hyper beam. There is a communication hologram that can connect to other gyroscopes, just in case one party cannot fit all together. The Gyroscope is automated as well, and will take the riders on a guided tour of most habitats in the Sanctuary. The plains, elevated areas, and even though some wooded and watery areas. The staff will show the riders that there is away to safely disconnect the gyroscope from the track and free roam, which is safe to do but will only be able to do so in the plains and wooded areas, as well as they will not be able to go very far from the tracks. If the Gyroscope ends up stuck, or the guest is worried about an angered Pokemon, there is a return to home button what will quickly whisk them away, or an SOS button that will call security to them. The large wide open areas seemed to be sectioned off into many different sanctuaries within the Carnivore Sanctuary, that being said, with the sheer size of it, each area is very sizable. Each area has a very tall electric fence that is use to keep it's inheritance inside. Each area houses Pokemon of the same size that would not view each other as food, or that are able to get along together. However, there are a few select Pokemon that seem to have their own enclosed Paddocks that are big enough for it's inhabitants to be comfortable but also big enough to keep them safely inside. These Pokemon are; Tyrantrum line, Tyranitar line, Suchorensis, Nasikeras, and Prediensis. Each Paddock are spaced out away from each other as to not add any stress if they were able to hear each other. Each one is created to simulate the Pokemon's specific ideal living environment to keep them happy. Each of these Paddocks are accessible via the Gyroscopes, which are built to keep the riders safe. However there are still staff members watching at each other to keep an eye on the Pokemon.

On it's arms, tail, back, and head has light purple feathers that the Pokemon will flare out in when attacking or when it feels threatened. The Pokemon uses this to claw into it's prey and hold on, but also aid in holding down it's food while they eat.  Alice finally reached the carnivore exhibit and wasted no time getting into a cart. It took a bit for Valefor and Nyx to decide who got shot-gun, but after a bit of squabbling Valefor emerged the winner of the prized seat while Nyx sulked in the back.
"Behave, you two." Alice chided before waving the ready signal to the workers and setting off down the track. It wasn't as fast as Alice had hoped, but it was still kind of nice. She relaxed back into the seat and enjoyed the scenery as they passed huge trees and entered a seemingly endless grassland. She could just make out the treeline in the distance, but it was a cluster of dots that caught her eyes first.
Without hesitation Alice got the cart off the tracks and bee-lined for the dots in the distance, knowing already exactly what they were. Sure enough, as they got closer the large heads and spiking manes came into view. It was a pair of Tyrantrum. Normally, a person would be scared by such a thought, but Alice continued onward towards them, her excitement growing as Valefor let out a thrilled huff.
"Look at that! They're so big! You'll be like that one day!" She said, glancing at Valefor with a smirk. She'd really be a person not to be trifled with then!
"Ty!" A warning from Valefor snapped her out of her thoughts as they neared the group, and Alice became aware that the two Tyrantrum ahead were now staring them down. She froze as the wild pokemon headed for the cart, circling it and sniffing it curiously. Maybe this hadn't been a great idea after all, but it was a bit too late for regrets now. Instead Alice remained calm, not moving as the two pokemon checked them out, or rather, checked out Valefor who seemed both elated and alarmed. "Runt! Tyrunt?" As Valefor spoke, the two Tyrantrum tilted their heads and snorted, but neither seemed to reply back from what Alice could see. Still, they didn't seem aggressive, per say. At least not yet.
Alice was about to relax when one Tyrantrum suddenly roared a foot from the cart, vibrating the glass and sending bolts of alarm throughout Alice and her pokemon.
"RUNT!" Valefor stood in his seat and roared back, his spiky crest standing on end as he faced off with the Tyrantrum that had roared at them.
"Valefor?" Alice whispered, torn between having the thrill of her life and being utterly terrified. The two pokemon continued to stare eachother down for a few moments before something about Valefor began to change. His brown hide became darker and more purple in places as he bristled, and before long Alice hardly recognized him anymore. She had to get them out of here.
Without thinking, Alice slammed the cart into reverse and took off towards the forest, not waiting to find out if the Tyrantrum were friendly or not. She was confused and more than a little scared, but they made it safely to the forest without any wild pokemon giving chase.
What was THAT?!"

Alice tried to push the event from her mind as she steered the cart towards a swampy area up ahead, interested in finding out just what kind of pokemon called the place their home. For the first few minutes the place was quiet. Alice couldn't find a single soul as they traversed the peaty ground at the edge of the water, until she found out why. As they neared a large body of water within the swamp Alice could just make out bubbles rising to the surface near and odd-looking ridge in the water. She parked and waited, knowing the pokemon had to come up for air eventually. However, she was not prepared for the large ridge to start moving towards them, nor the large being that rose from the water as it reached the shallows. The ridge, or rather sail, was part of a pokemon!
The sailed pokemon stood on the shore for a moment and watched them before opening it's jaws and yawning, making Alice very aware of it's many sharp teeth. Luckily, the pokemon showed no interest in coming closer like the Tyrantrums had. Instead, it laid down on the shore and seemed to merely enjoy the sun that dappled over it's scales. They watched it for a few moments and took a few pictures before Alice decided they'd better move on before it got annoyed of them. She turned the cart away from the swamps and headed off in a random direction, this time towards a rocky hillside.

Rhienne still had a lot of questions about this place, most she probably didn’t actually want answers to, but Aviabra was all about the idea that they were special being here, they were going to be the first to see Pokemon that have never been seen by other humans or Pokemon before. She supposed in a way, it was kind of like getting to see a legendary Pokemon? That was a once in a lifetime opportunity, but wouldn’t the luster of this experience wane very quickly once this place started taking in more and more people? That wasn’t really the point she supposed…
She had to bite her tongue though when Aviabra said she did in fact want to go towards the carnivore exhibit… Literally the most dangerous portion of this island? She questioned why, they could go see the herbivores instead? If it wasn’t safe for people to go there, then they wouldn’t have made the carnivore habitats accessible was the Psychic’s standpoint, and sure, that had to be true on some level, Rhienne thought there should be more thought other than it just sounded cool to go that way… But there they were, getting off of a train and now standing ready at the Carnivore side of the island… {Out of Party (Click)}No one {Inventory (Click)} Pokeballs

Once she had found her way into one form of trouble or another in the amusement zones, Liz had to swallow her anxiety and go see the Fossils in what was believed to be their natural habitats! She didn't spend as much time in the Gyroscope as she wanted, but she did enjoy seeing some of the Pokemon through the protective glass. Even if she was dumb enough to want to get out and touch one. The first sign of trouble came after the tram struggled to get moving. Liz looked around curiously wondering if there were any switches she could help throw to get the tram up and running again. Before she could attempt to help, the tram car lurched back to life and pulled away. That relief was short lived as the power lines for the fence sparked and sputtered before the steady thrum of electricity suddenly went silent. The tram proceeded through momentum for a little farther until its emergency brakes kicked in and stopped the vehicle. Uh-oh. "My favorite trip in over a year just had to have something happen." She muttered mournfully to herself as she looked for something to alert others to their situation. All these safety measures and no flare? That was going to need a review note. Liz sat down on one of the bench seats for now, listening quietly to the announcements for now as she became more aware than ever that she was probably in one of the worst places to be dealing with the situation the announcer was trying to prevent.
And now, back to the program!
Liz sat on her seat while looking calm as she processed her situation. The park had a massive system failure. That sucked, but measures were designed to make all of this easy to resolve, right? She could stand to let nothing happen for a little bit until help could arrive. She was going to give it her best effort to keep others from panicking and, heck, maybe even come out on top against a roaming Pokemon that got too big for its pen. Liz was all ready to go as soon as somebody gave the word that help was on the way. Getting involved would only make the entire situation more complicated. She was safer waiting for help. She couldn't possibly accomplish anything by taking the initiative this time instead of just trying to take the first shot.

Alice entered the rocky area and navigated the rough terrain with surprising ease in the gyro, finding driving it to be rather like a ride itself. However, a moment later the dashboard started beeping and flashing and within moments the whole gyro powered down and rolled to a stop.
"Um.." Alice flipped switches and pushed buttons to no avail, her stress rising as the weight of the current predicament settled on her. Then, a voice came from a small speaker on the dashboard. Seek shelter. Where? Alice looked around and found nothing but rocky hillsides all around her. She was far from the main gate, at least 30 minutes on foot, and there were carnivores in here! Where exactly did they want her to seek shelter?
Don't panic, this thing looks tough, right? She thought, running her hand over the glass that enclosed her. Help would come, right? For a moment all seemed quiet, but then a rough scream came from the backseat that startled Alice. She whipped around to yell at Nyx but immediately froze. Two large eyes looked back at her from the other side of the glass behind Nyx, who was backed up against the seat and screaming wildly. The large pokemon huffed and tapped the horn on it's snout against the glass as if testing it. This wasn't good.
A long moment passed and no one moved, even Nyx's screaming died off as they all stared at the Nasikeras, waiting to see what would happen next. With a sound much like a groan, the large pokemon lifted it's head and suddenly swung it into the gyro, sending it spinning wildly over the rocks. Alice was mildly aware of the sound of breaking glass as she was tossed about in the ball. She could hear more screaming now, but this time realized it wasn't just Nyx but herself as well.
By the time the ball spun to a stop Alice was dizzy and disoriented. She reached for the glass wall beside her only to fall out and land on the ground with a grunt as the air was forced out of her. As she pushed herself to her knees shakily and looked up to realize the gyro's protective glass had been shattered, leaving a mere skeleton of metal. So much for it's protection. At the thought of protection, Alice snapped out of her confusion and remembered they were being attacked.
"Nyx! Valefor!" She shouted in a panic, feeling relieved as the two pokemon climbed out of the wreckage seemingly unharmed. However her relief was short-lived as she heard heavy foot-falls behind her. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the Nasikeras coming for them with a snarl. Panic overwhelmed her as she forced herself to her feet and took off in the direction of the gate they had passed earlier, Valefor and a screaming Nyx hot on her heels. Only one word ran through her mind now. RUN!

Alice ran faster than she had ever ran in her life as the three sped over the rocky terrain and back into the swampy area from before, the prehistoric pokemon still hot on their tails. Up ahead she could see the sailed pokemon out of the water, and as they neared it swung it's head toward them and bared it's teeth. However Alice realized it wasn't baring it's teeth at them, but rather the monster behind them. This gave her a rather risky idea. It was now or never.
Alice ran straight at the sailed pokemon, her and her pokemon ducking under it's belly at the last moment as the two large pokemon clashed in a symphony of snarls and high-pitched shrieks. Without looking back she slid behind a tree to try and catch her breath, her legs burning furiously from the run. Still, she knew she had to keep going soon before there was a winner in the fight behind her, otherwise it would all be for naught.
Just as she thought this she heard a roar and looked back to see the sailed pokemon fleeing into the water. It seemed her nonconsentual champion had less fight in him than she had thought, leaving the horned pokemon's attention back on them. With a groan she forced herself to her feet and took off just as the pokemon figured out where they had hid, the sound of crashing foliage behind her spurring her on as they booked it past the second gate.
As Alice ran across the plains she felt very exposed and small. More and more she thought of turning and trying to fight it, but her pokemon were exhausted from the run and outmatched in both size and ferocity. Why couldn't Valefor be evolved! If he had been they wouldn't have been in this mess! She knew it wasn't his fault but that did little to help the situation as they cleared a hill and shot down the other side, gaining a little distance from the pursuing pokemon.
Alice looked ahead and paled as she spotted another gyro up ahead and a trainer near it. She hadn't meant to lead the aggressive pokemon into anybody, but it was too late to try and change directions now as the Nasikeras crested the hill behind her. All she could do was warn them.
"RUN!!"

What did happen that the thought of something bad happening was hindering her from taking an opportunity? Would she have gone to aide Bill when he called for able bodied trainers now the way that things were? Would she have gone to help contain those Ultra Beasts knowing what was going to transpire? She’d been through cave ins, alternate realms, attacked by aliens, nearly shot to death in the Ruins of Alph… And Aviabra was right, despite it all, or maybe in spite of it all, she and her Pokemon were still here to tell the tale. And what was she being afraid of, she hadn’t stopped to ask herself that question, it’s not like anything that she was experiencing was inherently terrifying to where she couldn’t move on from it? Sure, the experiences were daunting, but was anything truly debilitating that she couldn’t just push on and become more than what had happened? She’d experienced worse just at her own house with some of the demons her mother had brought home to either study, contain, or push on into its afterlife… What did happen to her?
”You weren’t listening, were you,” Aviabra’s voice caught her attention then, they had been standing to listen to an attendant about the driving glass spheres that could be taken into the enclosures to look at the Pokemon.
”I was listening. It’s all automated for the most part, we don’t have to do anything,” Rhienne returned, crossing her arms.
”Okay, well I listened, and I wanna to drive,” the Medicham objected.
”Sure, but we’re not going awol, okay? This isn’t a time for you to go all spastic,” she spoke knowingly, the Medicham couldn’t deny that she had a tendency to get over excited sometimes.
Needless to say, it was a little unnerving being stuck in a giant glass ball as the sphere moved along the designated track that went out into the fields, and Rhienne really wondered how many times they had to do damage tests to make sure it could withstand something as potent as a hyper beam? Or maybe they couldn’t at all, and that’s why they had to disable all of the Pokemon’s powers, what would that say for their very real teeth and claws though still? Aviabra chose to let the automated system do some of the guiding, starting to tell them about some of the Pokemon that they would find in this section of the park, and while there were a couple Rhienne had never heard of before, like a Sandaconda, the program did label three of the species as some of the ones that the Grace woman had spoken about, the ones that were specific to the island after their scientific advances.
”Oh! I want to look at this one,” Aviabra spoke then, touching an indicator on the screen. The image was of a feathered lizard standing on two legs, it was called a Prediensis, a pack hunting Pokemon. Rhienne waited to hear more information about it, aside from the scientific terminology the program started to spout.
”Okay, sure, but what type is it,” Rhienne questioned, starting to search through the information herself, and couldn’t find anything about what type it was, what kind of attacks it was capable of performing, nothing like how a Pokedex would be able to identify…
”The other two don’t have that information either… Why wouldn’t it tell us what kind of Pokemon they are,” Rhienne questioned, it seemed odd…
”Maybe they don’t know what they are because their science didn’t tell them,” Aviabra giggled, the thought of all of these smarty pants scientists not even knowing what kind of Pokemon these were was really quite funny to her. Rhienne didn’t quite think so though…
”Or maybe they know exactly what they are and they’re not gonna tell us,” Rhienne pondered, but surely something that was meant to be so public wouldn’t create such an unexpectedly dangerous environment? If they actually meant for people to come here, and it really sounded like they did with all of the PR this Grace woman was trying to build, maybe it was all just a stunt to build some excitement before they were open to the public for real?
They followed the program for the driving sphere, but didn’t see anything in particular, that was probably the downfall of a place like this, where everything was supposed to be so open and free roam. It was good for the Pokemon, not to be disturbed by people if they didn’t want to be, but bad for an “attraction” if those who came here to see a Pokemon couldn’t see the Pokemon in question. Rhienne was tired of sitting in the sphere, they’d been at it for far longer than she had patience to be, and all they saw for it was just a handful of Pokemon that existed outside of the island anyway, like Tyranitar and Carnivine, nothing inherently exciting, and not near as exciting as Aviabra had made out this venture to be. And so, as Aviabra sulked a bit, they had already started heading back towards the gates of the section, ready to move on since it had been a good while of them being out in the fields for nothing. Rhienne wasn’t going to go on about some she told her so spiel though, she just wondered if maybe they would be able to see something in a less dangerous part of the island perhaps now that they’d spent the better part of the afternoon out there.
Sitting in the front driver seat of the sphere, Aviabra pouted as she absentmindedly played with what was akin to a shift gear for a car, it did hardly anything to control the sphere so it seemed pointless to Rhienne really why they would bother with driving mechanics at all. The ride was otherwise quiet, they’d stopped pressing on the screen for information about the Pokemon, and were just looking to get back towards the gates with a good distance to go yet, when the sphere came to an utterly slow halt and seemed to power down altogether. Rhienne’s ears stood up, her eyes sharp behind the sunglasses, and Aviabra leaned up from her sulking as the sphere made no movement to come back to life. There were alarms in the distance, from a lot of different angles, and while there was nothing in their immediate area, they might as well just be sitting Ducklett.
”This is not my fault,” Aviabra said quickly, she was not going to be blamed for the power going down even though she was the reason they were out there in the first place.
”I didn’t say it was,” Rhienne leered, listening as the alarms went quiet, and an automated voice came over what little power was left in the sphere, warning all guests to take shelter immediately. Great.
”Absolutely not,” the witch said, starting to look around the sphere immediately for a way out. She was not going to die in a crystal ball.
”Do you think someone will…,”
”Nope.”
”Maybe we should stay…,”
”Nope.”
”Think we could call…”
”Nope.”
Searching the glass for anything, any sort of lever or switch, something that would open the sides for them to get out, Rhienne adjusted her glasses again as she swung her hair back, she couldn’t find anything, and no amount of Aviabra punching and striking the glass was getting them out…
”They weren’t kidding with this stuff…,” the Medicham huffed.
”How are they going to trap people in here without an emergency latch to get out,” Rhienne seethed, starting now to look under the seats they were sitting in. There was a big black box underneath, it had to be full of all of the mechanisms and directional tools and everything, that had to be the only way.
”Move back Aviabra,” Rhienne said, getting out of the way as she hopped over the seats, and she took out a Pokeball to let Wattson out into the sphere.
”Do I even want to know,” the Lucario asked, his ears dipping at realizing that he was within a glass ball as he looked around.
”This isn’t my fault! Just because it says take shelter doesn’t mean anything,” Aviabra shouted, throwing her hands up at Wattson’s question.
”No one said it was your fault Aviabra, but I will blame you if something finds us before we get out of here because you won’t chill out,” Rhienne quipped.
”Before something finds us? What does that mean,” Wattson sneered, eyeing Rhienne now.
”I don’t need to hear anything from you either. We can argue again about my life choices AFTER we leave this island. There’s a black box underneath the seats that has to contain all of the mechanisms for this thing, just try and break it okay,” Rhienne returned, she really didn’t want to have a fight right now about how she didn’t need to come here while they could potentially be in danger. One fight at a time.
Wattson snuffed with a twitch of his jowls, he hadn’t liked how he and Rhienne had been at odds with each other lately either, but he was only ever just trying to look out for her, like now… The Lucario shifted in the seat he was in to look underneath, and found the black box in question, taking another quick survey of the sphere they were in, he had to conclude that Rhienne was probably right, and hopefully destroying this wouldn’t just seal them inside for good. Using one of his spiked paws, he made one swift strike at it just to test the density of it, and while it was sturdier than he had initially thought, and rightfully so given what this was supposed to be, it only took another few good strikes before sparks and wires started to become exposed. He used his claws then, and started to tear into the pieces he could grab a hold of, and with a good couple of yanks, one of the sides of the sphere gave way and swung open, freeing them.
Clamoring out of the sphere now, not wanting to take a chance of it closing again if the mechanisms changed in being destroyed, Rhienne, Wattson, and Aviabra now stood in the open field.
”So… Now what,” the Medicham queried after a moment… Like, really, now what, what were they supposed to do, being stranded out in the middle of nowhere with no way to get back to the gate…?
”We follow the track to get back to the gate, and hope it doesn’t take us that long,” Rhienne mentioned, looking up to the sky, it had gotten pretty cloudy, so there wasn’t really telling how late or not into the afternoon they were, and as she looked at her phone, she didn’t have any service for anything… Just when Rhienne and her Pokemon were going to begin the long trek though, her ears shot up at a roar, and the indistinguishable call of someone yelling. She looked through her sunglasses, there was a girl running towards them now down a hill in the very near distance, and at the crest of a hill was one of the very large and very aggressive carnivorous Pokemon that they hadn’t gotten to see earlier that afternoon… Irony that it would be out and about now that they were no longer safe…
”What do we do?! What do we do?! We don’t have any powers, we can’t fight that thing,” Aviabra started to panic.
”We don’t what,” Wattson snapped, he hadn’t yet been made privy to that bit of information.
”Not now,” Rhienne shouted, and she started to run towards the girl as she took out the last of the Pokeballs that she was allowed to bring with her. From the pokeball, Nara emerged, and the tiger roared as she hit the ground running on her four paws. The tiger’s large figure would be plenty for all requisite passengers, and Rhienne grabbed Aviabra who was running with her. She grabbed Nara’s mane and hoisted herself and Aviabra up onto Nara’s back and situating herself Nara honed in on the girl that was running towards them now.
”Get on,” Rhienne shouted, knowing they didn’t have much time before the carnivore now lunging down the hill would be able to catch up to them. Fortunately four legs was faster than two, and should the girl take Rhienne’s hand and scramble up onto Nara’s back, the tiger roared again before starting to run with Wattson beside her, looking to now gain some distance from the pursuing threat. {Out of Party (Click)}No one {Inventory (Click)} Pokeballs

With what Liz could only assume was a reassuring cry from her Spearow, she began her process of climbing out of the tram like this wasn't a harrowing experience for the young lady. She was not a big fan of high places, this being the Carnivore Habitat didn't make any of it better. In fact, she realized, that made it worse! Liz was already halfway down her rope, cursing at the metal pieces digging into her palms as she tried to just slide her way down with not enough luck. THUD! The support beside her shook first before the rest of the track did up above. THUD!! Another strike. Then another! A Tyranitar was down below smashing away at the pillar keeping the tram aloft with no regard for the people up above worrying about how they'd get to a safe place. "HEY! KNOCK IT OFF! THERE ARE PEOPLE UP HERE!" Liz shouted for it to stop which caused the beast to turn and open its mouth to attempt to Hyper Beam her when it remembered that it couldn't use such moves. It snorted and struck the pillar with its tail as it waddled away in irritation. Metal buckled as the monstrous creature had been making good progress on destroying the only thing between that tram and a long fall. The track warped and wobbled with people screaming for help. Liz looked up in time to notice the warping track fracture and bend outward, pointing everything downward now. Getting to the ground was no longer a concern...Getting back up was! Liz let out a high-pitched screech when her rope suddenly went slack as the tram followed gravity. She was whipped forward as the vehicle's brakes failed against the pressure of its own weight and the entire thing with its cargo rolled forward down the shattering tracks before plummeting to the earth below. The occupants miraculously survived the fall with Liz blacked out on the ground somewhere in the undergrowth. At least she wouldn't have to worry about getting to what remained of her clothing...

Surely a primed hunter would know when the pursuit just wasn’t worth it, and it would need to move on to its next target for stalking, and it wasn’t going to be Nara today. Wattson ran alongside the tiger in her strides, and for a moment they stopped to slow down and listen and take stock of what was happening. They were out in the wilderness in what was likely to be the most dangerous part of the island and still pretty far from the gates, and even then they were immensely far from the main portion of the island where all of the buildings were. It was no wonder that she had to take a tram out to this part of the island, and if power was out… That probably meant that those were down too, it could take hours to get back to the civilization…
Rhienne had hopped down from Nara’s back, she was just trying to gather her thoughts and get organized, when the sounds of stomping clamoring up a hill next to them caught the tiger’s attention. Nara hissed as they were faced with a Tyrantrum, a species that Rhienne did recognize, but that didn’t make the encounter any less terrifying knowing their circumstances… Rhienne feared the worst, she wanted Nara to stand down, but she was fierce as she lunged and struck the fossil across its maw with her ferocious claws. The witch was awed each time she got to watch Nara’s true power, and especially in this instance now, with really no power at all, she was still a powerful, beautiful force of nature that she had formed a bond with, it was almost humbling to know that the Raikou was as powerful as she was and still chose to travel with such a train wreck as herself…Nara | Lv. 76 | HP 520 | Stats: D x1.2

Dragon Rush- 100 (4/10 flinch) || Blizzard- 100 (3/10 freeze) || Thunder- 100 (3/10 paralysis) || Fly- 90 (2 trn) Regretfully Rhienne didn’t have many supplies with her, she didn’t think it would be necessary to carry her entire typical traveling set with her, she hadn’t counted on being left to the elements and exposed to the dangers of teeth and claws in this way. She couldn’t call on Cheshire or Absolem either, which was still daunting and something she was trying really hard not to focus on. The ghost and the psychic were always there at the forefront of her consciousness, she could feel them there always and knew that their connection was powerful, but this island… Whatever they’d done to inhibit a Pokemon’s abilities in this way, it was powerful enough that she had no way of finding their connection, and it was starting to weigh on her.
She came to Nara’s side after the tiger made her final stand, she roared and hissed with her bared fangs and the Tyrantrum roared back as it backed away, acknowledging that it could not continue the fight. The tiger was strong, stronger than Rhienne would ever know, but that didn’t mean that a fight like that wasn’t going to have its consequences. Without her full array of things that she usually kept on her, Rhienne really only had a handful of potions and other healing implements, and she found some scratches that the Tyrantrum inflicted. They were bleeding pretty good, but they didn’t look deep enough for exposure, so Rhienne did what she could to carefully spray over them and make sure Nara was alright. They were far from out of the woods yet, and then it only got worse still as thunder and lightning rolled through the sky…
”You’re kidding me…,” Rhienne groaned as rain started to fall from above, glancing to the girl that she had come along with, it didn’t look like she had an umbrella or anything… Except for the strange purple creature that hissed from her arms.
”We better get moving then… We’re going to be stuck out in this for hours,” Rhienne spoke with a grimace, until she thought she heard something… It was hard to tell, thunder rolled through the air again, but she listened…
”Do you hear something,” she questioned, her own long purple ears shifting slightly, trying to catch a peep of what she thought she heard…
”I hear a voice, someone calling for help I think,” Wattson confirmed, his own senses keen and sharp, and Rhienne wasn’t going to question it. She moved towards Nara and helped the girl back onto the tiger’s back, and they went, following Wattson who was starting to follow the sound of the voice he could hear in the distance.

Elemental Paradisity Mocha Elfy rookerClemont had slumped back against the tree trunk in defeat. He knew he couldn't shout until his voice was gone, it may only draw out more fossil Pokemon. He thought he may just want to wait it out. With the rain really starting to come down, he didn't want to risk slipping either. He had already noticed the near by body of water that he could probably jump into but he had no idea how deep it was so that wasn't a good idea. He looked down at his high tech pack, he had just the gadget to help him get down. But it now rested at the base of the tree in pieces. Having fallen from the tree branch it snagged on. He wasn't too upset at it's breaking, it appeared to be a fairly easy fix. But what he was upset about was his Pokemon's Pokeballs resting within the pack. He knew if a prehistoric Pokemon tried to take his pack, they would get taken with it, and he couldn't let that happen. But now, while on his own, he thought it would be best not to draw attention to himself. Before the Gym Leader spotted them, Rhienne and Alice may have spotted something familiar first... A metal back pack laying in pieces on the ground. He had given up, relaxing back giving the trainers a moment to investigate the pack, until he spotted below him a young woman with a Lucario, Raikou and a younger woman with white hair riding on the back of said Raikou. Swallowing his surprise at seeing the legendary and began to wave. "Hello! Up here!" He called out to the trainers. "I kinda got myself stuck!" He called out. It was also his lucky day, he could see three more trainers in the distance. He waved at them before turning his attention back to the two below. "I got chased up here by something I've never seen before, but it ran off that way." Clemont called out to the trainers, pointing where it had ran to give them warning just in case. As he gestured, something slowly rose out of the near by body of water. A set of spikes, moving so slowly and subtly it wouldn't be out of the question for them to miss. It was as if nothing was wrong until a very low guttural growl could be heard. The only hint of where this sound was coming from was the vibrating waterline. "Run! I was the bait!" Clemont gasped, shouting at the trainers to make a run for it, but it was too late. The Suchorensis burst from underneath the water with a loud roar, and began to circle it's prey Rhienne, Alice and their Pokemon. It had found a nice two appetizers for it's true meal. Suchorensis Lv. ??? HP ???/??? Male Punch- The lower the user's HP, the lower the move's power | (Current HPx150)/Max HP Body Slam- 85 | 3/10 chance of paralysis Tail Slap- 20 | 2-5 hits Thrash- 120 | 2-3 turns attacking, then user is confused Things to know!:-You have 7 days to enter the battle, and select your Pokemon before these 3 Pokemon attack. If everyone posts before then the Fossils will be posted for sooner. If you do not make it in time, the battle will start regardless. -This turn you are just selecting your Pokemon, you will not be able to attack this turn. -There is no speed in this battle, so there is no set turns that need to be followed. -You are not limited to one post per round, but you may only attack once per round.

Her hair was soaked into heavy threads, and the ears that sat atop her head drooped on either side. Aviabra had no such fur or hair to be concerned over, but Nara and Wattson were both dripping wet as well and also not having a good time. She’d all but given up on trying to see clearly through her glasses, it was a fool’s effort trying to keep water droplets from culminating on the lenses, her vision was spotty and blurry at best, so she would have to rely more heavily on her Pokemon in this time… Rhienne was really doing her best to try and push her own pity aside, for as much as she loathed the current situation and really wished that Arceus hadn’t decided to spite them all with this stupid storm, there was someone out there who was calling for help, and that was what she was trying to focus on. They were all out here just trying to survive at this point, there was no way that she could just ignore someone who was stuck in this same nature trap.
The white haired girl remained sat behind her as Nara followed Wattson closely, the Lucario’s keen senses were able to keep the sound of the calls for help in his focus and not lose the voice through the sounds of the rain and thunder.
”Wait, what’s that,” Aviabra called out, patting at Rhienne’s arms as she pointed off to the side, she caught sight of something on the ground that certainly wasn’t just a rock or something that belonged. Wattson stopped, he followed Aviabra’s direction, and he found a large metal contraption. He picked it up in one paw, holding it out from himself, unsure of really what the mangled thing used to be, but Aviabra studied it for a moment.
”That belongs to someone… I remember seeing it in the beginning…,” she tried to think of when they arrived, and everyone was gathered around listening to the woman, she was scanning the crowd and she remembered seeing that on someone’s back…
Then there was a call, someone calling out to them, Rhienne looked around, she couldn’t immediately see anybody, her glasses were covered in droplets and it was useless to try and clear them, but Aviabra and Wattson looked and found the voice coming from…
”Up there, someone is stuck in the tree,” Wattson commented, making eye contact then with who they recognized to be Clemont, one of the gym leaders who was visiting. Wattson moved closer to the base of the tree then, looking up to the leader that was above them, listening to his anecdote of getting chased by something as he assessed the tree and the best way to get up. Rhienne remained off to the side with Nara, remaining on the tiger’s back for now, but something just felt… off. Aviabra had been glancing around, she heard Clemont talk about something that chased him and ran off, and she looked at the body of water he’d mentioned, though just as she was about to look away, she could swear…
”Did the water just move,” she breathed, and she grew stiff as she watched closely. Rhienne wasn’t paying much mind… It was raining, of course the water was moving?
”Aviabra, it’s raining, there’s water everywhere,” Rhienne rolled her eyes, the psychic type was just getting in her own head. But there was a rumble, it almost sounded like the thunder rolling through the air in the distance, but Rhienne turned at Aviabra’s tapping on her arms quickening, and then Clemont yelled. It was too late, they were in the cross hairs of a giant Pokemon that burst from the body of water, it’s sheer size alone was enough to cause Rhienne to gape as it charged them. Aviabra screamed as Nara roared back, she wasn’t about to let this thing get the drop on them. The tiger snarled and hissed with her bared fangs, keeping herself poised as she turned with each circle the beast made, she knew she could get an out at any moment that it stopped in its tracks.
”What do we do, what do we do?!? We can’t take this thing,” Aviabra shouted, though Wattson was ready to have a go as he hurled a rock at the Pokemon, waiting for it to make its next move.

Finn was effectively soaked through to the bone, his dark hair dripping and stuck to his neck, his sandy skin dappled with running rain droplets, and his clothes were just rags at this point as they hung from him in heavy, loose ds. While typically he would say he couldn’t be more at home, save for perhaps a spray of salt water to go along with it, he almost missed the rains out on the open seas, Finn couldn’t help but clutch a cutlass close at his waist at each lightning strike as he followed along. Despite the time he’d tried to spend distancing himself from that part of his life, or rather, that chapter, the very thing that had brought this fate upon him was daunting. He still couldn’t even stand to be around most electric type Pokemon, let alone see lightning flashing across the sky, it was enough to make his chest hurt and the fractal scar burn that phantom burn across his torso and down his arm. He thought he might be better than a force of nature, but his death was still something he hadn’t come to clear terms with, and certainly hadn’t coped well enough with… although he would have anyone think otherwise… He couldn’t help the twinge that came with each bright streak across the sky, as if he were waiting to feel that searing, white hot heat bursting through his body again, the brightest flash he’d ever witnessed before succumbing to complete and silent darkness. There was little the pirate could do to keep his wits about him except continue to move forward with his small group of company, he wasn’t paying much attention to the direction they’d started moving in, only knowing then that they needed to get away from the likely stampede of herbivores getting disturbed by the storm.
Finding every puddle that he could, Osilvey was enthralled, he couldn’t believe that the water came to them, and it was everywhere! His blue skin shimmered in each water droplet, he was basking in the sprays of water and the smell of it around them, but he didn’t really like the lightning much either… It was ruining the sound of the rain!
”The thunder and lightning are ruining the rain… The puddles are so much fun! But it’s too loud when it thunders,” the water skipper remarked, he could do without it all.
”How do we scare the thunder away, let’s do it now,” he asked Pant, he was on board one hundred percent if it meant that the puddles would stay where they were!
Wiping some excess water from his face, Finn grimaced at another lightning strike as Vitus lumbered along with them, it was clear now that there were much larger things in the area that could cause damage, so the muscle was necessary. However, at the red haired woman’s question of if they were still indeed heading away from the Carnivore sanctuary, a guttural roar in the near distance didn’t prove to give the best answer to the question.
”Aye, not the answer I would have wanted,” Finn muttered, ready to turn the other direction, but then there was a scream… There were others in that direction…
”Phineas, I can’t see much beyond your eyes, but I know that a fate is being tried… They need help,” the wyvern spoke then in his consciousness. Bade’s powers, like all the other Pokemon, were hindered within the island, but she could still feel the most base, innate instincts of her tie to this world, and that was knowing that the fate of innocents was out of balance, and if there was something that they could do about it, she needed to know that they did everything that they could.
”There’s strength in numbers, we need to help, carnivore or not… We’re all trying to survive and should leave no man unaccounted for,” Finn urged of his two companions as he and Vitus moved forward through the grass and mud, ready to face the source of the roar and truly hope for the best.

Alice remained quiet on the back of the large cat pokemon as the woman and her pokemon seemed to be tracking something, or rather someone. Alice could barely hear the cries for help over the rain that poured down around them, but if she focused she could just make it out. Personally she had no want to go about trying to help others, but as it stood she felt safer with the woman and her strong pokemon. Alice's pokemon were strong, but their power were in their attacks, which were now moot. Privately she made a promise to work on their physical strength more if she survived this insane adventure.
As they found the person in question, Nyx immediately began to snarl, hopping off of Alice's lap and facing the water. Her purple fur fluffed up twice her size and her long tail snapping at the air with it's maw.
"What's gotten into you, Nyx?" Alice slid off the back of the cat pokemon and approached the angry Grimbit cautiously, knowing the pokemon was unpredictable when in one of her little 'moods'. However it was as she approached that she noticed something moving in the water, and as she squinted into the rain she could just make out a familiar shape.
Instantly a memory of the finned pokemon from earlier shot into her mind, but before she could give a shout of warning to the others, the water parted and the finned pokemon rose like a monster from the lagoon. Too late, they had fallen for it's trap. "Crap..."

She was keeping very aware of her surroundings, having getting yanked out of their jeep made her fairly cautious of the wooded areas around them. She looked over as Elfana took a moment to remove her wedged shoes, and commenting of the impracticality of them. The brunette wrinkled her nose. "I can't imagine they do" she agreed. Cypress wasn't a heel girl, she might wear heeled boots but that most likely would be the end of it. She took a moment to look at Elfana's outfit then to their new survival partner. They looked like they should be okay in what they had on, now that Elfana took of her shoes. She generally dressed fairly practical so she hadn't considered that hindering them. She hadn't exactly brought to many spare clothes and what she had brought she left back in the entrance to be taken to where ever they would be spending the night. But she did take that moment to pull her wet and thick hair back into a ponytail. Below Turtwig followed along side his two new friends, carrying Nincada on his back. It made him feel safer to have the Pokemon on his shell, it made him feel like he wouldn't get stuck on his shell or so that nothing could sneak up on him. He remained close to Pant and Osilvey, only straying to hop in a puddle but would scurry back fairly quickly at every crack of thunder. "Yeah, Puddles aren't very fun when its thundering soooo loud" He agreed sheepishly. Osilvey was right, the thunder was ruining the fun puddles. "But at least it's not as scary with friends around." He added with a smile, trying to make the best of the situation. "But if you know away to scare off the thunder, tell us!" Turtwig looked to Pant eagerly. He knows it would be so much better and so much more fun without the thunder and lightning!
As they continued down their path, Cypress was now not only keeping her eyes out for Pokemon, but now she was waiting to see if they could see any structures. Anything that would show that they were nearing the main hub or even the other attractions. But it seemed to just be more and more land. Just as she began to grow more and more anxious about their directions, Elfana commented on her lack of direction. "I'm getting a little nervous we got turned around, or I did too after the Tangela grabbed me." she admitted, pausing to look about herself. Time was passing fast and she did not want to be out in the dark. There was a loud roar that was way to close for comfort. "No, not promising at all." She grimaced. But at the sound of the screams, she looked back to the other two to check if they heard the same, which the male seemed to have heard. He thought it would be best if they increased their numbers, which Cypress Agreed. "We also can't leave them to fend for themselves." She added, and after she told Turtwig to stay close, Cypress began to run towards the sound of the screams. If it was something big and aggressive and who ever screamed couldn't defend themselves, they might only have seconds. Once she made it to the area, normally the Raikou would be the Pokemon to catch her attention, but she didn't give her a second glance. What did catch her attention was the large beast she had never seen before. "-The hell is that?" Cypress exclaimed in shock as she quickly dug into her bag and whipped out a Pokeball. Turtwig and Nincada were not going to battle that thing. She let out Wyatt who towered over the area, and took stock of the situation. She was so distracted by the carnivore that she didn't notice the trainers it was circling right away. The fact that it didn't appear at all intimidated by the Pokemon its targets had with them was concerning. "It's either dumb or confident in its strength. Either way- bad for us. Worse for the ones it's circling." There was no way she would be sending Oryx or Pantalaimon up against it. It would eat them in a single bite! Her Toxicroak had the exact same thought and had already positioned himself near Wyatt. "This is going to be rough." He commented with a low croak. Elemental Paradisity Mocha Elfy . The beast circled his prey. The two humans would make a good meal for the beast, along with the few Pokemon they kept with them. The Pokemon was really considering on how well they would get to eat and not have to share, but there was one Pokemon it felt threatened from, the Raikou. Of course, the Prehistoric Pokemon had no idea what the Pokemon was, but it could tell that she was strong. As the large feline began to snarl at the beast, as well as a smaller feisty Pokemon began to join her too. The Suchorensis leaned it's head forward and let out a loud bellowing roar in retaliation. It was about to charge when a larger Pokemon burst into view, Vitus. It's roar was cut a little short as he turned to face the newcomer. The Suchorensis hissed back in a low rumble as it sized up the new Pokemon. Normally it may want to flick a prey away with it's tail but this was a very large Pokemon. The beast charged the Blastoise after a split second of thought and intended on knocking it backwards and away from the area. Using it's thick and spiky head, the Prehistoric Pokemon rammed Vitus with his full body weight to knock him away.{Battle Overview(click)}
