Elfana was somewhat relieved to see it charging the Blastoise over one of the smaller Pokemon. That thick shell would give him a better chance against those claws and teeth than one of the other Pokemon. Getting bitten still wasn't ideal and that thing's mouth was far too close to the Water Type for comfort. "Kiro, help him." She paused before adding. "But avoid the teeth and claws." That ruled out going for the legs or face. That was fine by Kiro. He lunged at the fossil, landing a fairly solid punch on its side. The Toxicroak wasn't thrilled with the damage he had done though. He was convinced he could have done more were he in better condition. He couldn't wait to for the doctor to build him a new arm. All they had to do was avoid being eaten and get off of the island. If there were more fossils like their current opponent that might be easier said than done.

Cypress couldn't help but let out a gasp at the suddenness of the strike as it hit the male's Blastoise and knocked it back. This thing was strong, and it had size. This was concerning her. This thing can cause some serous harm if it hit them right. She had judged the male fairly early for only having a Mudkip, but now she was thankful for him being here, because not many of the Pokemon she could see out would be much more than a mouth full. While these beast was rearing back from surely it;s ringing head after hitting a shell that hard, Cypress took this moment to make a move, she trusted Elfana and the male to be able to fend for themselves, but despite the Raikou, these two other trainers were young. "Keep an eye on Turtwig, and Nincada." Cypress commented, as she sprinted across the open area to the young girl with the white hair and the other girl wearing espeon ears. Once she reached them, she didn't keep her back to the beast but wanted to check up on them. "Are you two okay? Are you injured?" She asked them, ready to make a bandage or do what she could to help them in the dangerous situation they were in. Mean while, Wyatt used this moment of distraction and leaned forward, and began to swing his trunk, sweeping across the area and slammed his heads into the beast's attempting to knock it out if he could.

Elemental Paradisity Mocha Elfy

The Dinosaur reared back it's head, and had to shake off the hard hit it did against the harder shell. Sure it had won the size and weight, but the shell was tough. After a quick moment of recovery, it was ready to begin it's feast. The large Pokemon didn't notice the fox like Pokemon's attempt at biting it's ankles, but it did notice the punch it got to its side causing a low rumble to escape his mouth. He went to turn only to get slammed in the head by what looked to it by a tree. It stumbled sideways from the two solid hits it had taken, as it turned back around with a roar. It sent it's sights on the next biggest thing, at least, the next thing it had pin pointed as a thread. It began to charge Nara with a snarl, opening it's large jaws as if it were going to take a nice good bite out of the legendary. But at the last second it turned it's head and rammed Nara with it's full body weight. Having learned the hard way not to us it's head.

Alice looked at the woman that had run to them and asked if they were OK, a question that took her aback a bit. It really all depended on whether the woman meant physically or mentally; cause physically Alice was covered head to toe in minor but numerous scratches and cuts, but mentally she was even worse. Frankly the young girl wanted to cry but was far too proud and stubborn to do so. Still, soon as she was free of this place she was going to need a hot shower and a good cry.

"I think I'm OK." She replied back after her pause, pretty sure none of her cuts were deep enough to be a problem just yet. Her biggest issue would be infection if they didn't get the hell out of here.

Meanwhile Nyx tried once more to bite the finned creature using her tail, and once again her tail's jaws missed their target. She was still young and lacked full teamwork with her peculiar tail. With a fox-like scream of frustration she jumped and grabbed her tail in her teeth, not hard enough to hurt herself but just hard enough to get her point across, of which the tail growled and wrestled her back in equal frustration. Nyx rolled around in a fury of screams and snarls as she fought her own tail, enemy forgotten.

Elfana focused on gathering the smaller Pokemon into a little group. Protecting them would be easier if they were all together. Part of her wanted to follow Cypress as there was always a chance one of the other trainers or their Pokemon were injured. It was kind of her job to help with that. If the fossil were to turn on them or she caught its attention while trying to reach them there was no way she would be able to outrun it. Not in her current condition. She glanced around just to be sure nothing was trying to sneak up on them when she finally realized there was one other trainer in the area hidden up in a tree. "Oryx, please go check on him." She might have tried climbing the tree herself were she not concerned the raging carnivore wouldn't try to eat her while she was distracted. The Rufflet took off towards the tree, landing near Clemont. He raised a wing and waved it in a greeting. Humans couldn't understand him so he would have to find ways around that. He chirped curiously and tilted his head before looking to the ground below. The doctor probably wanted him to ask if he was injured but he had no idea how to ask that. He could ask why he was so high up though!

When the fossil charged at the Legendary, Kiro followed right after it. Despite being ordered to avoid the claws he had decided he was going to aim for once of the Suchorensis' legs. Bringing it down would be difficult if it was able to keep running around the area unimpeded. This time when the hit landed he made sure to angle it so that the sharp claw on the back of his hand punched its way through the scales, leaving a deep cut as he dragged it along.

Cypress Was looking the girls over. They seemed okay, as the younger white haired trainer agreed that she was for the most part okay. She looked to the teenager, and she also looked like she would be okay but didn't seem to answer just yet. But the focus was on the battle, and the older woman took it as a good sign for her. "Okay good, now lets keep it that way." She commented to the younger of the two, and stood back and looked back to the beast. She had learned that she could trust Elfana with the smaller Pokemon of hers. She knows they would listen to her especially while they were in danger. Now she just had to worry about herself. They did have a Raikou on their side so that was positive, but what wasn't was the beast now noticing her and attacking the legendary. "Wyatt, get it off of them!" Cypress called out, and Wyatt leaned over and swept his tree trunk heads across the area and slammed them into the beast once again.

As soon as Finn and Vitus made the decision to engage the battle, the pirate and his mate were faced immediately with the beast in question. Surely with Vitus being one of the larger Pokemon moving in to face it, the beast honed in on him and went in for the first strike. The turtle was sturdy, and worth his salt ten times over, and as the beast rushed him, he dug his heels into the ground and turned for his shell to take the brunt of the blow, ducking his head in for good measure. The finned monster was a hard and heavy hit, Vitus groaned with gritted teeth within his shell as he took the hit, but the monster was quick to recoil, Vitus’ tough exterior doing exactly what it needed to.
The beast roared in disdain and moved onto its next target in its lashing out, and the turtle brought his head back out from his shell. Finn took stock of the battle, and while the Toxicroak seemed formidable, then the Exeggutor, and he could swear he’d seen that Raikou and its trainer before… He felt concerned for the rest of their group and how small, easily swallowed or stepped on everything else was.
”Vitus, keep using your weight, we have to keep an eye on things,” the pirate spoke then, and Vitus glowered as he charged the beast that was distracted with another target, and lunged himself and his full weight at the monster.

Needless to say, Rhienne wasn’t planning on spending the day fending for her life, but now that they were thrust into battle after having found the gym leader Clemont trapped by being the bait of a carnivore trap. Rhienne kept close to Aviabra, and Wattson was trying to understand the battle to see what he could do to help, but the monster of a carnivore honed in on Nara after it rushed the Blastoise that came towards them. Rhienne tried to call out, but what could she do if she ran herself towards the giant gnawing teeth and slashing claws, they had no way of helping themselves much… Nara roared, bracing herself against the hit, and while it was a heavy one she was far from down and out. Her claws dug into the muddy earth beneath her paws to steady herself, sliding across the ground at the blunt blow, but she snarled with bared fangs as she rushed towards the carnivore. She leapt into the air and clawed her way onto the dinosaur, swiping with her claws to get at its tough scales.

Mocha Elfy White Prince Of Wonderland

On all fronts the Suchorensis was being heavily attacked, bashed, slashed, and struck with all of the Pokemon that surrounded it. The giant carnivore roared at the onslaught, slashing and striking anything that came into contact with its claws before it finally reared upwards and spun with its great weight and its impressive length, knocking over the tree that struck it, knocking off the Pokemon that had attached to it, and kicking up anything smaller that was trying to attack. Clearing its path, it spun again just for good measure, it was surely going to use its weight now to make sure that it came out on top in this battle. It stood then again, hissing within its fangs, eyeing the surrounding Pokemon. Its jaws were poised for the next Pokemon that dared come at it, it was not leaving this site without a meal in its claws, now it was furious and filled with pure rage.

Within the tree, Clemont could only stare at the horror that was the battle brought on by the giant monster that had chased him into the tree, it was a wonder it didn’t continue to pursue him, surely it was strong enough to fell the tree or strong enough to climb or jump? But with its cleverness in coming out as soon as help arrived to try and save him, he had to wonder if the carnivore was smart enough to have plotted that all along… And that was truly a terrifying thought. He was gripping the tree still, he was up so high… But he needed to get down and help, he needed to get to his Pokemon… Movement caught his attention, and he panicked for only a moment before he found a Rufflet landing on the tree branch beside him, greeting him with a chirp.
”Oh-oh, do you belong to one of the trainers down there,” he asked then, adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose, but it did hardly any good without how spotted and wet they were.
”I want to help, this is all my fault, but I can’t get down out of this tree… Can you find my pack for me? My Pokemon can help me get down, and then I can help the battle,” he asked then, hopefully the bird was truly there to help, and this would be of very great help. He looked out from the tree for a moment, in conjuncture to the body of water they were near.
”I dropped my pack out past the water a little ways, in that direction, it’s metal, so hopefully its easy to see from the air,” Clemont explained, pointing out approximately the direction that he believed his pack to be in.

Alice gave a nod to the woman before focusing back on her pokemon, who was still fighting itself. Feeling rather humiliated, she stormed over and grabbed Nyx by the scruff, tearing her off her tail and giving her a little shake.
"Nyx! You going to let them all show you up?" She demanded, letting go and putting her hands on her hips as she stared down at the little fox pokemon. Almost immediately the Grimbit fluffed up with indignation, however she turned back towards the finned pokemon with fire in her eyes now. It was unfair to think she could keep up with these beasts... but she wasn't about to let herself be useless either!

With a scream of rage the tiny fox darted forward into the battle. If hitting from afar wasn't working, then she would get as close as she could! Not fearing it's claws, she zig-zagged straight at it head-on before suddenly leaping into the air. As she neared it's dangerous jaws, her tail suddenly grew in size and shot forward like an evil spirit, going straight for the finned pokemon's face with it's sharp jaws.

The full group of trainers seemed to be attacking now. With The pirate's blastoise, the girl with the ear's raikou, and even Elfana's Pokémon Kiro seemed to be holding his own. Cypress was a bit more confident with the battle. To her it looked like they were able to hit just as hard as the beast could, which was comforting to know. Even if they couldn't take it out, they might be able to scare it away. The young girl appeared to be just fine, so she could focus on the battle at hand. Well, their own battle it seemed. Cypress couldn't help but notice the strange looking Pokémon she had attacking it's own tail. Only for her to grab him and shake the Pokémon. It clearly wasn't harmful, just a means of nabbing the Pokémon's attention. After a pep talk it seemed to do the trick. Cypress returned her full attention to the battle just in time to see the beast slam it's tail into Wyatt hard enough to knock him fully over. Cypress grit her teeth as she saw his top heads hit the ground. It definitely was not a good thing to see him hit the ground at that speed. He let out a groan as he landed, and Cypress held her breath for a sign that he was okay. His tail branch lifted and smacked the ground in an attempt to prop himself up but to no avail. Cypress knew without his psychic abilities he was too tall to try and work himself up on his own. Cypress watched the beast, and when it wasn't looking in her direction she sprinted forward to her downed tree. "Wyatt, I need to push up as hard as you can and dig your foot in the ground." Cypress ordered. She got to a middle point of his trunk and began to lift, gritting her teeth again as she began to lift as hard as she could. She knew with him on the ground, this beast could seriously injure him or worse if it went to get his trunk in it's jaws. Wyatt was defenseless like this. She groaned as she heaved him with all her might as he tried himself. Thankfully with her muscle and his own strength he began to budge. Once he started to move, that's all it needed as he quickly was lifted and propped up in the air. She huffed as she commanded another attack. Which Wyatt obyed and swung his trunk and slammed it back into the beast/ Cypress turned back and made a run for safety with the teen and younger woman.

Turtwig let out a shriek as Wyatt was knocked to the ground, and made a run for the battle, starting to run away from Pant and Osilvey. However Nincada buzzed his wings and pulled back on Turtwig's shell. "Cypress told us to stay with Elfana and her Pokemon." Nincada buzzed, correcting the small Pokemon. "But they need help! we have to help him!" The small grass type spoke worried, having never seen a battle as aggressive as this one was. He looked concerned to his new friends as she nervously waited before running to try and help.

When Wyatt went down Elfana winced. As soon as they had driven the fossil off she wanted to examine him. A fall like that could do some serious damage. As much as she wanted to go help Cypress lift him up, she needed to stay with the smaller Pokemon. She would be more of a hindrance than anything anyway given her injuries. She let out a relieved sigh when Wyatt was back on his feet. He looked like he was in good enough condition to keep fighting. "Kiro, stay close to Wyatt! If he gets hit like that again try to stabilize him before he falls!" There was no way Kiro would be able to catch the Exeggutor but if he could help him keep his balance he hopefully wouldn't have to. She was so distracted by the fight that she didn't notice Turtwig had started to move towards the chaos at first. By the time she did, Pantalaimon had already followed after him. He wasn't about to let his friends run towards the scary monster alone! She cursed under her breath and ran for the Turtwigs, grabbing both of them before they could get any further.

"Let the big Pokemon handle it. Wyatt and Kiro will keep each other safe." She held the two Turtwig close to herself, careful not to accidentally squish Nincada. Turning her back to the fossil felt like the worst possible idea but she did it anyway. The Pokemon attacking it should have been more than enough to keep it distracted but she wasn't going to take any chances. It could try to cut its losses and go for the three small Pokemon in her arms instead of its original targets. At least this way they would have a shield between them and those unpleasant looking teeth.

Kiro had heard his new orders but he didn't respond to them immediately. He had been fortunate enough to land on his feet when he had been thrown off of the carnivore but being knocked aside hadn't exactly felt great. He watched as the tiny fox-like Pokemon decided to take a bite out of the fossil's face. He was going to take full advantage of that. The Toxicroak raked his claw along the opposite side of the fossil's face before breaking away to hop closer to Wyatt. If he needed to he could hop right on over to try to help keep him from falling again. Up in the tree, Oryx gave a happy chirp and nodded his head towards Elfana. "That one is mine! I'm supposed to be making sure you're okay and-...you can't understand me." He tilted his head, listening carefully to make sure he didn't miss anything. "Metal pack past the water. I can do that!" He hoped. The storm made spotting anything difficult and flying was a nightmare for a bird as small as a Rufflet. That wasn't going to stop him from trying! "I'll be right back!" Oryx chirped before flying off. He circled overhead, doing his best to stay out of bite range. It took a few passes before he spotted it. The Rufflet swooped down to grab the pack and nearly sent himself into the mud. He hadn't anticipated how heavy a metal pack would be. Getting it off of the ground was a struggle. By the time he managed to get it up the tree to Clemont, Oryx had totally exhausted himself. He puffed himself up as much as the rain would allow him, looking every bit a proud birdy. He would land and flop against the tree the moment the pack was taken from him.

Using his great weight and size to strike the beast, Vitus turned into his shell again as the carnivore spun vigorously to get them all out of immediate range. He took the brunt of a strike, from its tail perhaps, or a thrashing leg, and he slid across the muddy ground a ways. He grimmaced before coming out of his shell again, standing as he searched for Finn who had ducked to get out of the immediate danger zone. This thing was clearly enraged now and becoming unpredictable.
In his element, for the most part, Finn held fast against the beating rain and keeping his footing in the mud and puddles abound. Osilvey kept close to his captain, ducking and rolling with him and enjoying his splashing in the puddles. Really he was just waiting for his order in battle, but Finn didn’t give any to him.
”Do I get to help,” the mudskipper asked, looking up to Finn as they had managed to get out of the way of the thrashing beast.
”Not right now Osilvey, Vitus is handling things fine, you need to stay strong when we really need you,” Finn spoke then, knowing that without their innate abilities, Osilvey could do very little unfortunately, being as small as he was.
”Let’s go make sure that our teammates are alright instead, aye? The tree took a nasty fall, we should help them if they need it again,” Finn offered then, to redirect the Mudkip’s want to help.
The turtle lumbered into the fray again after making sure that Finn and Osilvey were out of the way, and he bellowed as he lunged forward with his immense weight, throwing himself in his shell at the beast to continue his assault.

To say that the younger girl’s methods and Pokemon were unconventional was perhaps a bit of an understatement as Rhienne tried to keep tabs on what was going on. She was watching to make sure the girl was going to be alright, she’d saved her earlier from their first chase, and for the time being at least, she felt partially responsible to make sure that she would be alright since it seemed that she might not have the most… reliable Pokemon with her. Unfortunately with the heavy rain her glasses were making poor work of actually giving her proper sight, so she was having to rely mostly on Aviabra and Wattson around her to keep her out of harm’s way.
Nara was heading off the battle and making sure to keep the monster away from Rhienne and her teammates, and she was thriving in spite of not being able to use even her most base natural element like the storm that raged above them. It was daunting almost, or maybe poetic, that the force of thunder and lightning herself was fighting by claw and fang within a raging thunderstorm, as if her very power was still coming from the elements around her. She rushed forward with a roar to match the thunder above and lunged to strike a heavy blow with her claws with a clash of lightning filling the sky.
And then the white haired girl’s Pokemon rushed forward in much the same way, though chaos oozed from its every motion as it too lunged and went straight for the monster’s face, and Aviabra screamed.
”What are you doing?? What is it doing?? Do you want it to get eaten,” she shrieked, she did not want to witness this thing actually getting a meal out of fighting all of them, she could hardly bare to look.

Normally the Suchorensis would take this as a very opportune moment to have a fairly quick snack while the woman was distracted in helping the fallen tree. But she had been lucky the beast's attention was quickly pulled away from the human. The prehistoric Pokémon had turned and follow's Cypress's movements and moved to attack, but as it lowered it's head to charge, a small black Pokémon jumped into view. The large prehistoric Pokémon let out a cry of pain and recoiled back as the little fox began to claw and bite at it's face. The Prehistoric Pokémon thrashed it's head around to try and shake the fox off of it's face. Just as it was able to fling the fox like Pokémon off of it's face the large Pokémon tried to turn and grab Nyx with it's strong jaws, but he missed and just slammed it's maw into the Pokémon and knocking it back to it's trainer, having left quite a mark on the beast's face that clearly looks like it'll scar.

Meanwhile in the trees above, Clemont listened to the small bird's responses. He was happy to hear the high spirit of the strangely horned flying type. But not only could the gym leader not understand the rufflet but the battle below were really frying his nerves. With a chirp Oryx was off into the storm. He wasn't sure if he should have put so much faith in the small Pokémon, maybe he should have asked him to grab the attention of another Pokémon. It wasn't that he didn't believe the Rufflet would try, but sending the small bird out in such a dangerous situation felt wrong, and that he was endangering the little flying type. He couldn't see the bird in the stormy weather but he could see the small gleam of his pack. He relaxed back for a moment to try and calm himself, attempting to clean off his glasses but it was futile. After a Minute or so, he was face to face with the Rufflet once more, but now carrying his entire pack. "Oh my goodness!" He exclaimed, quickly reaching out to take the weight away from the small bird. He had thought that maybe the bird would collect a pokeball for him, but carrying the full weight! He let the bird settle on the branch before speaking again. "That was impressive, this pack is fairly heavy!" Clemont complimented and thanked him for his major feat he had achieved. "You definitely helped me quite a bit, thank you!" He added as he began to take a look over his high tech pack, it was clearly damaged but nothing too far broken. He strapped it on his back and tightened it. He was a little too nervous to try any of his technology to help him down, for fear of it having been broken, so he pulled out a Pokeball and let out his Heliolisk. His electric type wobbled on the branch and Clemont steadied him. "I know this isn't usual, but could you help and piggy back carry my brave friend here, and I down the tree?" He asked, as the electric type gave both gym leader and rufflet a skeptical look. Clemont pointed to the battle below to show him the urgency of the request which quickly wiped the expression from his face and he moved to the trunk and began to get into position. Clemont offered the rufflet an arm to climb onto, and then he moved over and grabbed onto the Heliolisk's shoulders as the electric type began to ease them down the tree.

The large Fossil Pokémon let out a roar as it eyed over all of the Pokémon surrounding it. taking just a quick moment to rotate in the clearing making sure to eye each and everyone. Rage and hunger in it's eyes as blood trickled from it's now scratched face. If it's for ever ravenous stomach wasn't enough, but the stinging of the scratch on it's face reminded the beast to attack. This time the beast realized that he was essentially surrounded, but it was going to remind the smaller creatures that he was the predator. The beast charged, choosing to attack the nearest, the small fox. The Prehistoric Pokemon didn't feel the need to bite the fox any longer, he brought it's thick tail around and swatted it at the small loud fox, and sent Nyx flying back to it's trainer. The Beast made a beeline for Nara, using it's head to ram the legendary with it's full weight. The Beast came to a quick stop, allowing the tiger to get knocked back and turned swiftly, making another beeline for Kiro. Using it's speed again, the Suchorensis slammed it's tail into the Toxicroak sending it back to it's trainer as well.

"It's like carrying a Spewpa but worse somehow." The little bird groaned. How on earth did trainers carry such heavy packs?! Kiro carried Elfana's bag all the time before he was injured. Maybe that was why he was so much stronger than her other Pokemon? Pack carrying must be some form of strength training! The Rufflet jumped when the branch wobbled. He had been too distracted to notice the Heliolisk. "Hello! Thank you for helping us!" He felt he should greet the Electric Type before he climbed on to Clemont's arm. It was the least he could do since it was going to be carrying them down from the tree. He gave a friendly wave with his wing and chirped before climbing on to Clemont's arm. The Rufflet had just settled in when he saw Kiro get thrown towards their trainer. He let out a panicked squawk. That big fossil was tearing through the others!

Elfana winced when her Toxicroak hit the ground hard close to her. When he didn't get up immediately, she set the Turtwigs down and directed them towards Finn and their Mudkip friend. "I'll follow right behind you as soon as I check on Kiro." Pantalaimon hesitated but did as he was told in the end. He nudged Turtwig, trying to guide him along towards the pirate. Elfana waited until the Turtwigs were clear before going to check on her Toxicroak. He still hadn't been able to move- though not for lack of trying. The hit had left him stunned. She had to help him sit up. Fortunately nothing looked broken. The Toxicroak had some unpleasant looking bruises but he would be able to keep fighting. He was lucky compared to the little fox Pokemon.

Doing well in keeping Osilvey close and trying to redirect his attention, Finn made sure to start heading in a wide circle towards his assumed teammates in an attempt to keep the group together. If things turned for the worst, they needed to be sure that they could all make it out together, and that would necessitate all of them being in one place. The wyvern was watching through his eyes, waiting for if the moment would come, knowing that she would be at the call of getting them away from the monster.
Finn looked out to find the orange haired woman, she had managed to gather the other smaller Pokemon to keep them all together, but the pirate stopped as the beast roared again, deliberate this time and clearly feral. It was thrashing now, going on a complete rampage, and while Vitus tucked into his shell to avoid any detrimental hits, the monster made sure to do as much damage as it could in its rage striking anything in its path. The last thing it laid waste to was the woman’s Toxicroak, and they couldn’t risk it getting in for another hit before being able to assess.
”Vitus, redirect and bring it down,” Finn called, moving Osilvey then in the other direction as he saw the small gaggle of tiny Pokemon moving towards him. The turtle lumbered from his shell and stood again, bellowing to gain the beast’s favor, and the Blastoise rushed forward with his great weight, lunging himself towards the crown of the monster’s head. His aim was to turn the monster away from the majority of the group, and as he came down upon the monster’s head, he made sure to try and bring it down to the ground with him.
”Osilvey, get with your friends and stay together, savvy? If you stay in the grass, the monster can’t find you,” Finn offered as he himself turned to move towards his teammate and her Toxicroak. Osilvey nodded and started to hop through the grass towards his friends, keeping an eye on where Finn was though to make sure.
”Hey! We need to play hide and seek, my captain said so! The monster can’t see us in the grass if we hide,” the water skipper said, already enjoying the thought of playing hide and seek, it was such a fun game!
Moving towards the woman and her Pokemon, fortunately the poison type was already able to sit upright and start to assess, and Finn was glad to see that they still hadn’t suffered too greatly, at least not yet.
”We need to start gathering everyone, the beast will surely have its way before much longer. Making our way towards higher ground away from the body of water might be our best course,” he mentioned, wiping a clump of his hair from his face.

Cypress watched as the beast began it's onslaught of attacks. This thing attacked not only Nyx again, but it went for the raikou, and then Elfana's assistant. She grit her teeth as she watched it move, trying to think of a way to stop it in it's tracks. The pirate called for the Blastoise to intervene. So she thought that was a good start. "Wyatt, hit it again! Slow it down for him!" She called out. Wyatt swung his heads back around and slammed his head into the beast, hopping to slow the beast so the Blastoise can do a number on it. Meanwhile, Turtwig was listening to Elfana who then put them down and told them to find Osilvey. He gave her a nervous look before turning back and running after Pant, with Nincada buzzing just above him. Once he got with the Mudkip, the pirate told them to hide, to which their new friend assured him that they should hide in the grass so the monster couldn't find them. "Osilvey is right, we should hide." The bug hummed as he waddled into the grass after the mudskipper. Turtwig followed in after them, and crouched low in the grass. "The monster is scary, are they going to be okay?" Turtwig asked his new friends quietly, looking to them between the tall grass blades.

Things were starting to turn ugly, there was no denying that they couldn’t keep up a fight against this giant dinosaur, no matter how much Rhienne would like to say so. She knew her Pokemon were capable of more than she could ever know, but what could be said against something that was naturally better than her Pokemon in every way at its base? It was like a cruel way to remind them all that their Pokemon would be no match for their prehistoric predecessors when it comes down to their base existence. Without their powers, without their abilities and the things that made Pokemon as powerful as they could be, did any of that really matter when a Golem could crush Nara to death, or an Arbok could strangle Aviabra…. Rhienne stopped herself for a moment, that was all far too existential for her to need to think about… There was a time and a place for pondering the true meaning of everything that she had ever done in regards to Pokemon training and trying to convince herself that it wasn’t all worthless… She needed to push that aside.
The rain was difficult enough, knowing that she was getting stuck in mud now with how much rain and wet was covering the ground, but still her glasses weren’t making the situation any easier. She was holding Watton’s dripping paw, just trying to make sure she could stay out of harm’s way since he was keeping an eye on the battle, and Aviabra was clung to Rhienne. Wattson was thinking, trying to analyze what their best way of dealing with this was, all while unfortunately Nara had to bear the brunt of this ordeal… Rhienne could hardly keep tabs of what was happening, but she could hear Nara’s ferocious roars and those of the other Pokemon that were attempting to help them in battle, she could also hear her pain and her snarls at being struck… The dinosaur gave a guttural roar, it was clear that it was enraged and out for blood now, and as Wattson drug Rhienne away to keep their distance, she heard Nara hiss and yowl against the thunder in the sky…
”We have to get out of here, I can’t let her keep going like this,” Rhienne chided, mostly at herself, how could she do this to Nara, put her in this impossible situation? The Lucario was trying to think, looking around at the surrounding group… One of the Pokemon had managed to start assisting Clemont out of the tree, that was a good sign, they could actually start to look for a way out of this situation now that their goal had been achieved in saving the gym leader…
”Aviabra, take Rhienne, go towards the other trainers. I recognize one of them, he was with us in Alola,” Wattson urged, he recalled the Blastoise, and the strange dress the human wore, though Rhienne was hardly an exception to the comment… But they were there during an interdimensional invasion, surely they must be able to hold their own in many ways… And the other trainers were starting to gather that way too, the sooner they could figure out how to get away from this situation, the better. He himself moved towards the girl with the white hair, her strange Pokemon had been hurt by the dinosaur, and he needed to make sure that she and her Pokemon could get out safe too, he moved to guide her towards where he had urged Rhienne and Aviabra to go in hopes that this effort would not be in vain…
Gripping Aviabra’s hand, Rhienne did her best to run along the slippery grass while hardly being able to see, she was listening though, trying to find any notion of where Nara was…
”Nara! Stay away from its face and hold on just a little bit longer,” Rhienne called out, willing her companion to hold out for just a little bit longer. The tiger knew that the dinosaur was at its most distressed and angry, it was acting erratically and lashing at anything it could get a hold of, but it had taken some noticeable damage from the group of them ganging up on it, they just needed to keep at it… Nara watched blood drip from its legs, one of the Pokemon had gotten in at its feet and tried to hinder its mobility, so Nara rushed to get beneath the monsters line of sight and started to slash and claw at its legs and feet.

The beast let out a roar as the onslaught of attacks continued. One after the other, Pokémon just as large as he was, just by different means. Maybe not physically, but threat wise. The tree that continuously bashed the prehistoric Pokémon was knocking the beast to the side, while the feline Pokémon was dealing quite a bit of damage. While the Blastoise wouldn't stay down, it seemed that the beast was really only doing a number on the smaller Pokémon. The beast was becoming enraged with frustration, but also it was getting exhausted, meaning it was getting desperate. He could feel the sting from it's many injuries it's received, the blood trickling from his face and legs, as well as the ringing in his head from the tree trunk. The Dinosaur was beginning to think he wasn't the predator anymore. With another roar, he felt the scratches to his clawed feet. The dino tried to step on Nara, but she was too quick. What she wasn't too quick for was his tail as he whipped it around and slammed it into Nara.

Clemont held onto his Heliolisk as the electric lizard slowly made their way down. It felt strange to him, he was so use to his Pokémon giving off so much static from being hyper charged around all of his machinery. But now he didn't feel anything, he wondered if the barrier made his Pokémon feel different. Less energized? But this wasn't the time to test the technology on the island. Clemont held on tight and listened to the small bird chirp. He didn't know what the bird was saying but he enjoyed the chipper tone verses the chaos below, that grew ever closer. Once he was on the ground, Clemont hopped off of his electric lizard, who hissed triumphantly, who was mildly disappointed there wasn't sparks to go with it. "Thank you, little guy, you were such a good help!" He complimented to the rufflet. He moved towards the larger group of trainers as he wanted to thank and return the small flying type safely. He trotted quickly to get to them faster, stumbling only once. "I do believe he belongs to one of you trainers, and I would like to personally thank you for sending your valiant Pokémon to help me." He complimented. He then turned to the dangerous battle at hand. Normally one of his robotic hands would point for him, but they were still on the fritz. "Heliolisk, it's our turn to help. Get in there!" He called out, as the yellow electric type moved quickly and speed his way into danger as he began to bite and claw at the beast anywhere he could.

Elemental Paradisity Mocha Elfy

The Beast let out another bellowing roar as the fifth human entered the battle. The Beast had been unable to get the smaller gym leader after he had climbed up the tree. But the moment he had heard the other humans, he thought the smaller human would draw them in for an easy meal. This had been anything but easy. The Suchorensis had been beaten, clawed, and ironically bitten to the point of injury. The prehistoric Pokémon hadn't been use to it's prey putting up such a fight. Normally the humans keep his food coming and it didn't move or fight back. The idea of a battle was thrilling for the beast, but he was quickly realizing he had bitten off much more then he could chew. The beast shook it's large head trying to get the stinging blood from its eyes as it watched the human's slowly starting to migrate together. The Beast made one last stitch effort to harm the opponents. With a low rumble, The beast charged again desperate to do any damage it could. The beast sprinted around the clearing aiming at each and every opposing Pokémon it could, ramming it's head, flicking it's tale, and grabbing them with it's jaws and flinging them at all costs. Even as one try it swing it's tail at the humans to try and scatter the humans before turning tail and running in the opposite direction. Cutting it's losses and making a run for it while it could. Disappearing in the stormy weather, leaving behind a trail of blood it hopes nothing else follows.

Celmont had his eyes on his Heliolisk as his trusty Pokémon was knocked backwards a couple of feet before landing hard in the mud. Normally he would go to his Pokémon's aid but the Suchorensis turned tail on him, literally. Clemont was able to dive to the ground in time to be missed by the tail. He looked up from the muddy ground in time to see the beast run off. He let out a groan as he got to his feet, and tried to wipe the mud from his glasses. Normally he could just snap his fingers and his pack's Aipom Hands would clean them for him, but he definitely would need to work on his pack before it's functional again. Once he was able to see, he turned back to the trainers. He understood that most of them appeared to be much older then him, but he didn't care he wanted to make sure they were all alright. "Is everyone okay?" He called out, trotting over to them with his Heliolisk in tow. "I would hate for anyone to have gotten injured for trying to come rescue me." He spoke regrettably. If anyone had gotten seriously hurt and he couldn't help them, he wasn't sure what he would do.

The sight of the redhead would have been comical to those watching. Liz was on her knees with one hand tangled tightly in Growlithe's mane for support while her free hand groped helplessly at the ground in front of her for some kind of solution. Not only could she not see, but trying to get up and walk around had put her right back on the dirt with the world spinning. That was much more terrifying when she couldn't see anything. Her mind swam inside her own skull and the only sensible thought she could muster was "cover." Cover what, though? Cover her eyes, surely, she wasn't using them right now. Cover herself? Growlithe had fought something. She needed to get someplace safe for now. Those made sense, though that's not what her mind was trying to convey to her. She had a wound on her head that needed dressed and treated. She had no clue yet simply because she hadn't had the sense to check why her head was spinning. She fell off of a train! Of course she was hurt! So long as she stuck with her Pokemon and moved carefully, she would be fine. She just needed to find--"Oh!" Her hand touched something soft. Fabric from one of the many articles of clothing that had made up her jury-rigged rope before. The fact she could only find the one piece pretty clearly spelled out what happened to the rest of it. The ties had been tight, it should have all remained together. She heaved a sigh, then started ripping the ruined dress until she could wrap a long piece around her eyes and tie it in the back like a bandana. She felt some dried blood as she checked the knot but still she hadn't put together what was wrong with that sensation. She straightened up, grabbing onto her Growlithe again and nuzzling the hound's fur gently. "It's really hard finding things..." She muttered to herself, shaking her head slowly as she tried to right herself again. Maybe a stick would help, or a metal rod. Blind people used sticks to help them navigate, right? She let out a groan. Now was not the time to be wracking her brain for vague memories. In the meantime, she could rely on Growlithe for help. She would just have to live with that.

"Right. I can examine everyone's Pokemon once we're safe." Assuming there was such a thing as safe in the Carnivore Sanctuary. That horrible beast had done a number on most of their Pokemon. She was going to have her work cut out for her- especially since she was down an arm. She welcomed the challenge. Elfana helped her Toxicroak to his feet but didn't allow him to jump back into the battle immediately. She wanted him to take a few seconds to recover first. Elfana looked to Clemont when he approached the group, holding her arm up for her Rufflet to land on it. She had been about to begin praising the Flying Type when her Toxicroak was suddenly knocked away from her. The fossil was trying to make a run for it. She had just enough time to process what was happening and fling Oryx right back into the air as soon as he landed. The Rufflet squawked above her as she took the tail strike. Protecting her Rufflet had taken priority over self-preservation. Elfana found herself laying in the mud. She didn't move to get up at all. Two car crashes- three if a fossil ramming the jeep she was in counted- and then a tail swipe. Sitting up could wait. She was going to take some time to assess her condition and debate the pros and cons of replacing the damaged parts of her with metal.

"The grass makes perfect sense! We look like plants and of course a Bug would be around a bunch of plants. If you hide with us then you can pretend to be part of the plant!" Osilvey's trainer was really smart! The grass would make for the perfect hiding spot for a couple of Grass Types and their friends! Pantalaimon began scouting for the ideal hiding spot when he saw his team leader and his trainer get knocked down by the angry fossil. Any thought of playing hide and seek went out the window at that point as he began running towards his trainer as fast as his tiny Turtwig legs could carry him. Oryx had already landed next to her by the time the Turtwig got there. Even with two little Pokemon picking at her in an attempt to get a response, Elfana didn't move. She remained where she was until her assistant lifted her up off the ground enough to let her rest against him while she recovered. Kiro wasn't in much better shape than she was but he was trying to keep it together for the younger Pokemon.

Elfana didn't respond with her condition when they were asked if everyone was okay. The amount of sarcasm that would have been in her response required far more energy than she had. She took in a slow, careful breath before speaking. "Doctor here. I'd like a full list of everyone's injuries- Pokemon and human- by the time I'm able to get up again. It'll help the treatment process along." She kept her tone nice and even. Most of the others were younger than she was and the last thing she wanted was to show that she was in any sort of pain. More for the sake of her own pride than anything else.

Normally by now, it would be clear if the tides were turning to their favor or not. But as of right now, it didn't look good for either sides. The beast was beaten, bloody, and clawed. But so were they. She wasn't sure if this thing could keep going, but she knew they couldn't for much longer. This made her concern for their own safety. If Wyatt went down, she knew she couldn't send in Turtwig, or Nincada. They weren't ready to fight something like this. The young girl and her fox Pokemon had been out of commission for a bit, The pirate seemed to be holding on strong, and the young alternative trainer seemed to be holding well okay, her Raikou was taking quite a bit of hits though. While it was distracted, the alternative trainer took a chance and ran for the other trainers. "Come on, we can't stay over here." Cypress spoke to the young girl with white hair, and began to run after the teenage trainer. She wasn't sure about the young trainer, but she was able to make it to the other side shortly after the girl and her Pokemon. She didn't want to be left alone and be seen as an easy target for the beast. She turned back as the beast went for the gym leader's Pokemon, but with a moment of pause, it turned and began to attack everyone. It began to swing it's tail and thrash at everyone. She saw Wyatt get knocked to the ground and the Pokemon on the field get attacked, but the assault didn't stop there. She saw the beast's tail continue to sweep through them, taking Elana down to the ground, while Clemont dodged it. She caught her breath as her brain clicked into it's training. The sweeping tail was coming for her next, and fortunately it was coming low. She jumped into the air attempting to miss it all together, but what she forgot to account for was her injured leg from being yanked out of a moving jeep. She didn't make it as high as she intended and the tail clipped her boots. This caused her to get knocked sideways and fall chest first into the ground.

This was still much nicer then the hit Elfana received. Yes, her leg was now throbbing from the over exertion, and hit, while she was also now covered in mud. But she was not in any danger of having been really harmed. As quickly as she could, she pushed herself up and whipped the mud from her face the best she could to try and see if the beast was attaching again. She found that it had been fleeing. This gave her a sigh of relief as she momentarily went lacked, letting her head hang down, allowing herself to calm. As much as she could at least. Turtwig who had joined his small friends in the grass abandoned them once he saw both Wyatt and Cypress go down. He bee-lined for Cypress, with Nincada buzzing over him. The Turtwig brought her back as he urgently nuzzled her legs and arms trying to check if she's okay. "I'm okay, I'm fine guys," She reassured as she stroked Turtwigs head to calm him, and plucked Nincada from the air and set him back on her shoulder. She knew she couldn't take much longer to collect herself, so she got up and made her way over to Wyatt who was a bit worse for wear. He was still laying on the ground, taking deep breaths from the hard hit. "You okay, bud?" She asked him patting his bark. "Well... I've been worse." He spoke with one of his heads that were now close to her. She gave him a wince, knowing it was true. She coated the area he had been hit with potion before responding. "You gave it a run for it's money, but I think you need a break." She spoke, which Wyatt began to protest, but she returned him before he could.

She made her way over to the group. Elfana was still on the ground, but she was calling out for everyone to give her a list of injuries. "Do you maybe want some help up first? You took a pretty hard hit, Doc." Cypress offered, kneeling by her. Cypress was far from the worst off in the group, she could help in the strength department but she wasn't much of a nurse or medic, so she was unsure of how she could really assist here besides helping them up. "Let me go check on them, just shout if you need my help." She already knew Elfana wasn't one for asking for help, or really accepting it without being forced to do so. Plus, she wasn't sure if if the younger trainers were really... use to getting struck by a dinosaur tail, as if anyone were. She made her way over to the pirate and the alternative trainer. "Are you guys okay, I can help you over to the doctor..." She offered, knowing that was the best she could do. She was fairly certain carrying the alternative character or her aviabra over would be easy. Same for the pirate. If they needed attention, she wanted to make sure they got it.
