  Nestled on the peninsula within the island's Lagoon sits a building a few stories tall. The building sits concealed within the tree lines just in case guests were brought out onto the lagoon. From the beach area it would appear as though this was an unused area on the island. Undeveloped, and almost untouched. A few smaller water type Pokémon, Omastar, Shellder, and Staryu have made their way onto it's shores, but aside from that it would appear that it was untouched by the larger Pokémon that now plagued the rest of the island. To get to the old facility one would have to be lead through the foliage and tree line about 40-50 yards before coming up on the quiet building sitting seemingly untouched for months, possibly years. The facility is a few stories tall towards the front, however it is clearly longer then it is tall expanding quite away back from it's entrance. The building appears to have been at one point well groomed and maintained, but now the grassy areas, trees, and bushes have over grown with no one here to maintain it. Out side it's entrance is a single road leading down a long winding path where it would end up at a fence marked 'Park Staff Only" being nestled some where between the Nursery and Theme park. one or two jeeps sit outside on the road ready for use if the staff needed, however it seems to have a bit of dirt and sand covering it's controls. It would be very clear that this was not meant to be seen by any park guests, and if a guest ended up here, to get in the building one would need an employee's access code to get inside, where any information, tests, or large equipment like jeeps or a heli-carrier would be kept safe within the long building.

Briar didn't try to correct the yelling. Rosalyn was trying to be productive in her own way- which was far more than could be said of her trainer. She was perfectly content with sulking where she was for a while. In case something decided to take offense to the loud Sobble she decided to send her Arcanine out to guard them. Slate let out a particularly vicious bark when he was first released from his Pokeball. He assumed he was being sent out to battle the Lapras. Instead he found himself on the shore. He looked out at the lagoon, noting the smoke rising in the distance but choosing to ignore it for the time being. Everything involving the water had stopped being his problem. "What happened?" He looked to Rosalyn. The Sobble stopped her yelling long enough to respond. "The boat exploded." Not quite accurate but close enough! "The boat...exploded?" He really hated being returned to his Pokeball. "Watch Rosalyn, please." Briar muttered, her face hidden once more. She needed a few minutes to collect herself. Slate began to slowly pace around the Anisopteryx. Nothing that even vaguely looked like a threat would be allowed to get close on his watch.  {Inventory}Pokeballs:

When the barge was destroyed by the Lapras, Natsu had managed to avoid being thrown into the water for way longer than he had any right to. Being so close to the railing had turned out to be a good thing. He had a death grip on it until a particularly rough wave threw him off the little section of barge he had been able to stay on. The Zoroark almost wished he had been allowed to struggle against the waves when Zinnia located him. At least then he could have maintained some of his dignity. The Frogadier wasn't big enough to carry him through the water so he had settled for grabbing one of the Zoroark's tails and dragging him along. Drowning suddenly didn't seem so bad. When they found Hanako again he was going to kill Ember. They could have got her a new frog! A bigger one! One that could carry him! By the time they finally reached the shore Natsu felt like his tail was going to fall off. The Frogadier had held on to him almost as tightly as he had been clinging to the railing. The waves might have taken him away if he didn't. He fell into the sand and groaned. Somewhere nearby something small and annoying was yelling at the top of its lungs. He hoped a bird ate it. Zinnia was doing significantly better than he was. The Frogadier was hopping about, trying to figure out which way to go. "Get up, Natsu! We gotta find mama!" Zinnia hadn't been able to pick of anything that Natsu had tried yelling to him but he knew Ember was out of his Pokeball. That meant Hanako had been teleported somewhere! Ember wouldn't let her stay somewhere unsafe. "Just...give me a minute." The Zoroark groaned. Moving was too much work. Hanako would be fine on her own for a little while.

 Cypress picked the wrong time to have left the young trainer she was charged with. After returning her grass Pokémon to safety, the Lapras seemed to have dove back underwater. This put the woman on edge. Why was it doing that. They weren't leaving any marks on the beast, why would it flee? Cypress hadn't exactly gotten up from kneeling by Wyatt, so she leaned forward in the direction to possibly see if it was going to come soaring out over them. It was too quiet. "Hey you, fossil thing, come back over here." She spoke, having no idea what it's species was. She was going to have to ask manager Barbie was it was when they got off the island. Her voice got it's attention, and she waved at him to come back toward her. The fossil moved closer but was very hesitant clearly. She didn't mind, this was all new to the Pokémon, it had to be very scary. She just wanted to make sure he was in range in case something happened. She could live with herself if she brought it on the barge just for it to drown. "Hey, Liz, grab onto the rail, something feels wrong." She called out to the red head. She was ready to make her way back to the red head, the Gallimelus reluctantly following her. Just then the barge was knocked from below, knocking her clean off of her feet and onto the ground, the fossil along side her. Cypress pushed off as quickly as she could and wrapped a strong arm around the fossil's long neck and began pulling him over to the railing. After it figured out what she was doing he pushed her the rest of the way. The Barge was cracking apart, and the Lapras was making sure they were getting separated. This was a smart move for the beast... divide and concur. But luckily that was not what it had in mind. It was just reacting. She looked up as Grace got it's attention after the barge parts were scrambled in the water. This caused her stomach to turn. That woman didn't stand a change with out the rest of them. Looking around seeing that everyone was separated from her. They barely stood a chance together but now this woman was calling it towards herself. Cypress was ready to jump up and attempt to get to her and yank her and the indeedee off of her portion, but the lapras's movements sent wave after wave that knocked into the now separate barge pieces. The part she was on was sent soaring through the water, moving so fast causing the older trainer to hit her head on the railing. Making it almost feel like her head was ringing with the metal pole she hit. This seemed to scramble her thoughts as all she knew to do was hang on to the rail and hang onto the wailing fossil.
Cypress held strong onto the crumbling bit of the barge she was on. Her head started to clear from being hit just in time for the barge to hit land. The Barge came to a fairly sudden stop, which finally caused her grip to fail. Cypress let out a scream as she was flung off of the barge piece and over the other side and down into the shallow waters. Thankfully the water and sand cushioned her landing, as she came screaming into the water, followed by her wailing Pokémon. Cypress began to scramble to get further on land incase debris came flying off. Once she was sufficiently on land, she let herself collapse. She not only was in physical exhaustion, but she was too scared to look around. That could easily have killed anyone that got in it's way, and she was mortified of having that thought coming true. She had already resigned the thought of Grace not making it. She felt the fossil she caught nudge her cheek, with a whine. Seemingly she had earned some of it's trust. She looked up at him, wondering why he hadn't taken off running. Maybe he was too frightened after everything he saw. She returned the Pokémon and stood up and began to look around. She noticed an assortment of Pokemon and a trainer with pinkish hair. "Hey!" Cypress called out to her as she made her way to the young trainer. "You and your Pokemon okay?" Cypress asked. She hadn't been able to watch how this trainer made it off the barge or really take stock in everyone around them. Her Sobble seemed to be endlessly shouting, which at least that meant it was okay, with a bird thing and Arcanine. Kintaro, meanwhile, was roused by semi-regular long, low howls. He lay there, eyes closed, facing the sky sprawled out on the sand. He remembered Odyss' distressed cry, trying to get to Hanako...Kera abandoning her post. Where was Attica? Right, she had been tasked with eliminating Lapras. His expression flattened into a scowl even with his eyes shut and his body demanding he stay right there until someone could bring real help. He was going to ignore that demand. "Kera..." Another long howl heralding the passing of a soul from the mortal coil. She hadn't done it for a while since the danger began but now the Houndour was signaling what she believed to be Kintaro's death. "Kera." He croaked, voice hoarse from earlier shouting during the crash. If she could hear him, she was ignoring him. Once more she howled, this time it was silenced when his left hand snapped up and grasped her muzzle. "Kera!" She made a strained whine as she tried to pull away. Not dead. Kintaro was NOT DEAD! Distressed was an understatement, having a dead man grab her mouth. "Thank you. Where is everyone?" The Houndour opened her maw, then closed it, then looked around. A short "wuff" was the only response he got as she confirmed they had no idea where they were or what they were doing. Kintaro just nodded and let out a sigh as he saw a glimmer in the sand. Attica took a bit of effort but was successfully dug up by Kera so the Pawniard could assist with their search.

"It doesn't feel like it." She commented glancing back at the waters, but quickly diverting her eyes. She wasn't complaining about her current status, she had been in much worst shape many times. Her leg still ached from getting ripped from the jeep they found, and she had many of scs and bruises. But she could take a bit of physical pain, it was easy for her to ignore. Nothing was serious like she had seen some others experience, she could tolerate some stinging or throbbing pain. What made her feel unlucky was the guilt she felt from being unable to do anything it felt like. While she had no idea who could take on a beast like that Lapras was. But the feeling of being helpless was new to her, having been unable to help Grace, or any of the scattered trainers from the barge. At least she hoped they were just scattered. Cypress was brought back out of her negative funk as Briar explained that she had been separated, but that if they were lucky they'd be okay. "Well, if your friend is anything like the ones I met, they'll survive on sheer spite." She added, unable to help the small grin forming. Elfana, while Cypress was now a bit weary of the woman, seemed to be the type that would survive just to spite the Lapras, and the island itself, and out of sheer stubbornness. While Liz was incredibly head strong, she could tell already. Just holding her still was like wrangling Purrloin. She was fairly confident they were okay, even the Pirate. She couldn't help but chuckle when Briar commented on her bug Pokemon were cute. "Yeah, they're pretty sweet, I'm not use to having such... Small Pokemon. But I've collected quite a few small Pokemon recently." Cypress admitted as her Pokemon fluttered a bit more slowly then usual now that he had a bit of cargo. She let out her own set of bugs, and sent them along together. Briar commented on her having done her best, and that no one could have prepared for a beast like that. Cypress couldn't help but agree, Briar had been right. She nodded but before she could respond, the very interesting looking Zoroark came up and spoke to them, asking if they had seen a trainer with blue hair, someone small, cute and scrawny. Briar admitted to have only seen her after the barge. Cypress could remember seeing someone that matched that description on the barge, but Cypress hadn't seen what happened to her once the barge began to break apart. "I don't think I saw any other trainers either. It got too chaotic to keep an eye on anyone" Cypress admitted to the Zoroark. "We did send out some of our Pokemon to help the search though" Cypress added in to be a bit more optimistic for the Pokemon. She understood it could be a very scary feeling being separated from your trainer and vice versa.
Nincada fluttered a bit lower to the ground as he got two new search Pokemon. He didn't set down Pineco, knowing the Pokemon would have to hop or roll, which wouldn't be helpful. "Hi" The Nincada spoke in a soft shy voice. "I can't see very well. You'll have to help Pineco search" He added, Nincadas weren't known to be the best at being able to see, Cypress just wanted him to be able to help Pineco move. "Do any of you know what's going on?" The Pineco asked in a near monotoned voice, eyeing over the torn up barge. "We were on the boat, and then something big and blue attacked, and the boat was knocked around. But then Cypress returned me." Nincada explained, in his small voice. The fluttering bug didn't have too many answers, but he had at least gotten to see a little bit. "That sounds really scary. I'm glad I was in my Pokeball." Big blue monsters didn't sound like a good time to Luka! Dimi, on the other hand, look disappointed that she had missed the whole battle. "I wish Briar would have sent me out! I would have beat that big blue jerk up!" The Larvesta was deeply concerned by the Spinarak's stupidity but he admired her confidence in it if nothing else. They were too small to be fighting a sea monster! He was glad Briar hadn't decided to make them fight it. The Larvesta made a nervous little noise as he glanced out at the water, fully expecting to see some sort of monster approaching the shore. He cried out and ducked behind Dimi when the "monster" ended up being on the shore directly ahead of them instead of in the water. "It's just a Gardevoir! Calm down!" The Spinarak didn't hesitate to try to take a few steps towards the Psychic Type. "She has a human with her!" That was definitely something they should be reporting back to their trainers! "We'll worry about that big monster once we get you and your trainer to safety. Let us help!" Why was she trying to get rid of them? Their trainers could help her trainer! She was trying to stand upright on the shifting platform of the barge with Valor coiled around her, just trying to do anything but let Nara out from her Pokeball, and in that time she was concerned about Vale’s Zoroark. He was panicked, stricken with fear at what had just happened, seeing the faint red stain on his claws from scratching his trainer’s arm… In that moment, Rhienne was concerned, not so much for Vale himself, but for what this could turn into, Zoroark have always been branded as dangerous, conniving, and sometimes even evil because of what they were and what they were capable of, and the last thing that she was going to let happen was have another dark type admonished for just being what it was. She didn’t know their relationship, she didn’t know how Vale saw his Zoroark or how long they’d been training, and maybe she was projecting her own knowledge of how mistreated and misunderstood dark type pokemon in general were, but that was besides the point. She only wanted to first make sure that the Zoroark could understand that he wasn’t a monster, that it was an accident, she could see how pained he was over what had happened, but before she could even say anything, disaster struck.
The Lapras attacked with its blizzard and shrouded the entire barge, and while Wattson tried to brace himself against the assaulting ice, Rhienne and Aviabra huddled together within Valor’s coils, trying to fend against the cold. The dragon grimmaced, his scales effectively frozen as his blood ran even colder at taking the full force of the attack, but he would be hard pressed if he was going to let one blizzard attack take him down. As soon as the attack ceased, he began to unwrap himself, breaking the ice along his scales, and though he could feel some of his scales ripping from his skin at the ice being so prominent, he wasn’t going to let on that he was in pain.
Before anyone or anything could really retaliate, the Lapras dove into the water beneath them and broke apart the barge from the underside, and without anything else that they could do, the barge started to surf through the water as the Lapras forced them all apart. Rhienne could only catch glimpses of who had been tossed where through her bent and splotchy glasses, she had no idea where Vale and his Zoroark went, and frankly felt a little lost without him now… She did hold onto his jacket, as she clung to Valor’s neck, but they soon had little option but to abandon ship. She hoped that Vale was alright… She still hated that all she could do in this moment was tell him thank you over and over again, she wanted to repay him for his kindness and just make sure that he knew he had an ally? Maybe even a friend? Friend was a strong word really, but when facing life or death with each other, did you have any other options than to become friends that way you could make it out alive together?
She was solemn as she sat on Valor’s long body, the Dragonair was swimming through the water of the lagoon towards the north beach in front of them, with Aviabra and Wattson sat behind her. She didn’t even have a mind to fight with Absolem on getting them to the beach without having to cross the water on Valor’s back, at least the dragon didn’t have any psychic capabilities to be as much of a pain as the Alakazam right now. The moment she started taking control of her own capabilities and understanding that she could do things for herself with the training and guidance he’d given her, was that really such a bad thing? Demon didn’t overtake her mentally, she was still here…

White Prince Of Wonderland Elfy Faithe rookerAs a much less utilized and now almost obsolete area of the island, the peninsula and surrounding beach seemed to be much more natural, grown and almost original again with time to settle back from the early stages of the island. The beach was wide and the sand was clean and the trees and bushes were vibrant with life, it seemed like there hadn’t even been anything built in this area save for a set of docks down the way for things like the barge that didn’t quite make it across the water in one piece. The beach was fairly calm and peaceful after such chaos that was experienced out on the barge, almost making it beautiful. The sound of the lagoon's waves, the gentle breeze, and an almost content humming that seemed to fill the air.
The trainers that made it that far had gathered on the beach and were standing on the beach with their Pokemon, and Clemont wondered how best they could move forward. He couldn’t have imagined that Grace would sacrifice herself as a distraction, he was distraught over knowing that she had done so much to help them and wanted to badly to get them off of the island, but now she wouldn’t be able to continue her mission… She said that there was a large cargo plane or two that would be somewhere within the forest of the peninsula, and maybe if he could get things working, they could fly around to the other trainers and make sure everyone got off safely, go look for Grace, he really just wanted to think of a plan to start getting things in motion. He stood there, contemplating the best course of action and making sure his Pokemon was okay, but he was finding it a little hard to concentrate with a deep, dulcet thrumming sound coming from the distance.
”Does anyone else hear that…,” he questioned after a moment when it didn’t stop, that rhythmic beat that sounded like it was getting louder, he’d never heard anything like it. It definitely didn't sound like a machine humming, so he knew it couldn't be what was left of the Barge out in the lagoon.
For a moment, it seemed like everything had fallen quiet, perhaps too quiet, when an incredibly large shadow descended upon the beach. There was a screech, and sand rushed around the beach at being kicked up by gusts of wind, and from above a giant figure swept in and tried to grab at anything that it could, whisking over the heads of the trainers and Pokemon alike, finding one it could finally get it's many arms on. The Pokemon clung momentarily to Slate the Arcanine whisking him into the air before swooping back down to the beach and dropping the fire type back into the sand.
The figure swept into the air again and leering down at the group of trainers and Pokemon on the beach was an incredibly large and incredibly imposing Pokemon that bore similarities to a Yanmega, but this creature was more feral, and more vicious by a mile. Its many legs hung down, each one clawed and poised for grabbing whatever it wanted, but what was more unsettling about this monster was the giant set of pincers that bit at the air in rage. They were sharp, and strong, and likely to grab and clamp down on anything that it could get close to, same as the set of pincers that twitched at the end of its long, flattened, and spiked tail. The Pokemon screeched again as it looked down at the group of trainers and Pokemon, getting ready to swipe up anything it could grab.

The trek back toward where Kintaro hoped trainers were was not as well-received as he would have liked. The ancient Yanmega was a frightfully large specimen and something he recognized quickly as "needing to be dealt with" which resulted in Kera getting the order to join the fray. The Houndour let out an aggressive growl, puffing flames from her mouth. She planted her paws and stared Yanmega down. "Ember, please keep Hanako safe. You all should stay near me, Attica can guard you until an opportunity to escape presents itself." He didn't really expect Cypress or Briar's bugs to obey him, but he did have Attica poised to lash out at Yanmega if it decided tiny snacks like that were a good choice. He had faith that Attica could punish it enough to change its mind.

【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfy ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the Woods Somewhere】 The two bugs followed along side their fellow counter parts. The Larvesta was happy he wasn't put during the fight, while she spinarak was the exact opposite. But before that conversation could progress they had stumbled upon what was announced a gardevoir and trainer. "Are you sure? That looks like a person to me..." The Nincada added fluttering a little closer trying to see. "Yes, we're sure." The Pineco stated plainly looking up to his poorly sighted team mate. The gardevoir tried to shoo them away. Dimi did most of the talking for the group, which Nincada was thankful for. "We're trying to search for anyone needing help. Our trainers can help" The pineco added. Soon after though a tall man arrived and seemingly scared the gardevoir but then appeared to sooth the situation out fairly well. "What Pokemon is that?" Nincada whispered to his Pineco who then had to explain he was just a tall human. Both bugs were fairly thankful that he had begun to lead the unlikely group back towards the way they came. Nincada had begun to weave back and forth happily that he had successfully done his mission. He was buzzing happily as he went, they had saved some trainers and their Pokemon, of course, they hadn't exactly helped then nor were they exactly in need but they were bringing them back together. But Nincada's joyful buzzing soon stopped as it happened upon a clear seen of a battle. This was even clear for him to understand that something big was whizzing through the air and attacking something. The tall male told them to stay here, and an Attica could keep them safe. Pineco was not wanting to try and cross past the giant bug, so he was perfectly okay with staying safe with the tall trainer. But Nincada lowered to the ground, and set the Pineco down next to Dimi and Luka "It's my turn to help" He spoke confidently, as he pat his friends head before fluttering off. "You don't even know what it is!" The Pineco called back, knowing Nincada could even barely see it, but it was too late. Nincada had already entered the battle.
Cypress listened to the Pokemon. They had been searching for their own trainers. "Got it. Small, frail, blue hair with tall lanky and bitch face." Cypress reiterated with Briar. That was fairly descriptive for such few words. She almost thought she could remember seeing blue hair on the Barge but so much had gone on, she didn't want to trust the memory and would just make sure to keep her eyes out. With that the Zoroark was ready to be off in search. Briar offered Slate up for help keep the other Pokemon safe, which was admirable. But this did worry Cypress a bit for them two. If something indeed did happen, with Wyatt down she didn't have much to defend them with. She didn't know what Pokemon Briar had, and Slate was a great Pokemon to have around. She shrugged off that worry when Briar offered to follow one of the two. "I would be less worried about Slate if anything happened, so maybe lets follow the bugs." Cypress offered. She had paid no mind to the growing hum in their surroundings, had Wyatt been around he would have clocked it. But soon Cypress would have been proven wrong in her worries as a giant yanmega few in and grabbed Slate and took off with him like it was nothing. Cypress let out a gasp as she also took off running with Briar. "Get his Pokeball-" Cypress shouted to Briar. Not as a order, but out of panic. If this giant thing made off with Slate Cypress didn't know what they could do. Luckily this thing dropped him or he slipped out of it's grasp... Either way, the canine was safe and on his feet. Cypress had already begun to move away from the beast who was already geared for a fight. Briar followed in suit fairly quickly. Cypress had to rack her brain trying to figure out what to do with a battle, she wasn't sure who to send out against this thing. She couldn't send out Wyatt again, and all her other Pokemon were brand new to her, or too small. But soon after she spotted a little gold bug had returned. Who was now appearing to enter battle. She was so sick and tired of being covered in muggy sweat, rain, mud, sea water, ice, sand, and everything in between, there wasn’t a clean part of her body anywhere and her hair was in tangles after she’d gotten sick of it and tied it back, though it was worth nothing. The fur of her constant reminder of the mistake she’d made was dirty with all the various forms of debris and weather she’d gone through, it was hard to tell it was even light purple any more with how disgusting she felt, and she couldn’t do a darn thing about it.
Wattson and Aviabra too were worse for wear, the Medicham was soaked and was now covered in sand and sea salt, and the Lucario’s fur was matted and spattered with all manner of mud and some small pieces of ice that still clung to him. Valor slithered up from the water onto the sand, his large and long figure making a prominent divet of a path as the small group just tried to take stock of the situation.
”Can we go home now” Aviabra groaned, they had the capability to get off of this island, Absolem could teleport them to where ever they wanted to go, and yet they were still here and she was over it as she tried and failed to wipe sand off of her arms and legs.
”Very kind of you Aviabra to consider everyone else who’s struggling with us,” Wattson sneered, shaking his fur of what he could, but he could only grimace at knowing how filthy he was and how much was caked into his fur. While he could appreciate a quick way off of the island, there was no way they could just leave with everyone else here.
”You don’t need to say the quiet part out loud… I didn’t mean it,” the psychic huffed, she wouldn’t actually wish harm and abandonment on other people, she was just so tired of being here and being in dirt and she wanted to take a bath and everything was trying to kill them… Rhienne wasn’t sure where to go from here, and she was just trying not to move too much, the sand shifting beneath her feet was killing her ankle, standing up straight was almost an impossible task, but that all left her mind as she looked down to a red spot on the sand where Valor was slithering along.
”Valor, hold still,” Rhienne said then, a bit stern in her concern, and it caught the Dragonair off guard. He turned to look at her sharply, but he looked down to where her eyes were and saw a spot of blood from his scales.
”It’s nothing,” the dragon spoke shortly, he didn’t feel like any concern was owed to him, he performed his job of getting Rhienne off of the boat and that was all she asked of him. Rhienne sighed, she knew they’d always been at odds, he was tough to get through to, for valid reasons, but that didn’t mean that she didn’t care…
”Just let me spray something over your scales, okay? You’re bleeding,” she returned, she wasn’t going to fight him, but she also wasn’t going to take no for an answer. Valor always kept his distance, and she really only did call on him when she really needed him, and this was one of those times. He did a good job, and he needed to know that she cared in moments like these, their relationship was not transactional any more, it was far from that now that they’d been together for years.
Having taken the moment to hobble and trip a couple of times towards Valor and spray what little healing implements she had over his scales, Rhienne glanced around at the other handful of trainers and Pokemon that were on the beach. There were so few of them now, compared to how many were on the barge, they’d been split in so many different directions… It was worth trying to get everyone back together though, looking among them there was an Arcanine, and a Gardevoir, and she had Absolem and Valor, they could probably start trying to go south on the beach to find who they could…
”So… like what do we do now? Without that lady, how do we know where to go,” Aviabra questioned, and Rhienne started to wonder if she should try and get with the gym leader that was on the beach with them, wondering if he had a plan or anything that they could work off of, and while she did move towards him with Wattson’s aid, they all stopped at his question. Rhienne and her Pokemon tried to listen, it was like a humming sound, maybe of a vehicle coming to get them? But just when that thought might have been too good to be true, there was a screech, sand whipped up around them, the cries of the trainers and Pokemon around them, and the figure of an enormous flying thing leering down at them all with snapping pinsers.
”Oh come on! Literally everything is trying to kill us,” Aviabra shouted, exasperated at this point, but also terrified because…
”What… What is that thing,” Wattson questioned, staring up at what could quite literally be called a monster, as if someone took a Pokemon and gave it all of the most devastating and dangerous features that they could…
”There’s no way that thing is a real fossil…,” Rhienne said, staring up at the creature that snapped and screeched at them with clawed legs and spikes and gnawing fangs… The consequences of her actions, of having all of her Pokemon here and choosing to stay…
”Just stay out of the way, don’t draw its attention,” Valor said pointedly, leering with his sharp red eyes. He was angered by the situation, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t do anything useful about it, so the Dragonair cried out to try and draw the flying Pokemon’s attention as he rose and spiraled into the air. Of the handful of Pokemon that were on the beach, it looked like he was the only one that could fly, so if he could keep this thing distracted in the air, maybe the others could do something about it.  Leader ClemontClemont had not anticipated to be confronted with yet another beast. He had never heard of a buzzing like he had been hearing form a machine but at the very least it would be more logical to think of yet another malfunctioning machine on the island rather then a huge bug. A bug large enough to pick up an Arcanine as if it were nothing. He had sense returned his Heliolisk for rest, believing he had battled enough otherwise he could all for help. His hands were clasped over his mouth as he watched fearing for the Pokemon, but luckily he was dropped as the beastly Yanmega reared back and readied to attack it looks like. Clemont made a break for the trainers, stumbling as he did, but didn't fall as he joined them. Pokemon were being let out left and right which was good. "Keep an eye on your Pokemon, we don't want it grabbing another and trying to fly off," Clemont called out, fearing the worst. He pulled out a Pokeball and let out a Pokemon he was confident this thing couldn't try to take, his Magnezone. The giant magnet buzzed as it spotted the large Pokemon it was facing. Granted, it was an electrical buzz rather than the giant bug's own buzzing. White Prince Of Wonderland Elfy rookerMaking its way back up into the air, the monster turned and hovered in the air on its large, beating wings, that constant, low thrumming filling the air. Its pincers snapped on its mouth as it screeched down at the group of figures it had come across, having failed to snatch up one of the Pokemon below once, it was ready to try again for its next meal. By no means was this a bug like any that existed today, just its sheer size alone was enough to dwarf anything of the like, but it was more ferocious, and more daring too like it wasn’t as fragile as some species were known to be. Its wings were stronger, more formidable, it had spikes along its tail for defense, and its claws and pincers were sharp and quick, this was certainly like no other creature that existed.
The many figures on the beach started to scramble and move around, some started taking to the air, but the creature was prepared. Any flying predator has the instincts to separate its prey n order to grab what it can, and that was just what the Pokemon intended to do as it started beating its wings with a ferocity that began to slice across the beach. It struck a Zoroark as a particularly heavy stream whizzed through the air, while all across the beach sand and rock began to kick up at the intensity of the wing beats. It was almost a sandstorm now, visibility waning quickly, knocking anything over and blowing things across the sand that didn’t have any holds, the Pokemon was going to separate what it could and swoop in again to gran what it could manage.

 With a pained groan, Alice slowly opened her eyes. The first thing that made it through her foggy consciousness was an icy weightlessness. Her limbs felt heavy and as cold as ice. The only warmth she could feel was something hard but smooth against her cheek. For a moment, she closed her eyes and focused on the warmth, but a sudden splash of water against her face snapped her from her trance. As she opened her eyes again she focused to make out her surroundings in the bright watery light.
It was then that she realized she was still very much in danger. Water surrounded her, littered with debris and wreckage from the barge. The barge! At once the memories of the last few hours flowed into her mind. After being chased by one monster and attacked by another in the carnivore exhibit, she had followed the other trainers in a distant daze. She remembered making it to a pokemon center and picking up Lahash, Allocen, and Sytry... then they had tried to use a barge to escape with some other trainers, but some kind of lapras monster had put an end to that. Her last memory was the barge surging up under her feet and flinging her into the air... vaguely she remembered striking something before she hit the water, but no further details came to mind.
She glanced to the warm thing under her cheek and realized with surprise that it was Allocen's back. The pokemon was struggling along the surface of the water with a determined look in his eyes. He was quite smaller than her, but thankfully her unconscious body floated pretty easily with him keeping her head above the surface. The drag though, that was a different matter. He had been able to keep her from drowning, but lacked the power to tow her to the distant beach. Her throat tightened as the seriousness of her situation settled on her.
Carefully, so as not to impede Allocen, Alice tested her heavy sluggish limbs. The cold had seeped right into her bones and left her exhausted. With growing panic she realized she likely would sink like a rock if she attempted to swim now. Just breathe. She reminded herself, trying to force down her panic as she considered her next move. Sytry was her best chance, but she wasn't sure the Flygon could pick her out of the water without risking falling in herself. Could Flygons swim? She frowned for a moment but decided she had no other choice but to try. If Allocen ran out of energy right now it would be the end of both of them.
Alice slowly dragged her arm through the water to her belt, fighting hard with her frozen fingers to get a safe grip on the pokeball containing Sytry before pulling it from the water and using what was left of her energy to raise it up and release the Flygon. As she did so, though, her weight shifted more onto Allocen and with a cry the small pokemon was pushed under. Water closed over Alice's head and as she sank bellow the surface, fighting back panic as she struggled to make her limbs move and return to the air. Allocen struggled beside her, still trying to push her up despite her growing heaviness. However, now that she had sunk, he lacked the strength to bring her back to the surface.
This is it. Alice thought sadly, a weird calm coming over her as she stared up at the shimmering surface above her. Then, suddenly, a shadow snuffed out the light above her and a moment later a large body crashed into the water in a flurry of bubbles. Alice stared in a mixture of hope and astonishment as she recognized Sytry swimming down towards her. The Flygon grabbed her around the waist and started propelling herself towards the surface with her broad wings, the warmth of her body giving Alice just enough energy to hastily grab Allocen before they exploded back into the open air.
It turned out once in the water Sytry could indeed not take to the air as Alice had feared, however Alice had badly misjudged the dragon's swimming capabilities. Sytry rolled onto her back and held the shivering Alice close to her chest as she used her wings to propel them toward the beach ahead. Alice closed her eyes and enjoyed the warmth, clinging desperately to an exhausted Allocen with every scrap of energy she had left.
It wasn't until they neared the beach that Alice became aware of yelling and a commotion breaking out. What now? Alice was too exhausted to feel anything as she glanced ahead of them and made out the monster flying in the air. For a moment, she merely stared at it with a deadpan expression, feeling nothing at this point but a painful numbness. Then, as Sytry pulled them up onto the sand near the other trainers, Alice let go of Allocen and rolled onto her stomach with a groan. She tried to get her limbs to work and get to her feet, but she made no progress beyond getting herself onto her knees. She was horribly aware she was a sitting duck in this situation, but could do nothing more than return Allocen to his pokeball where she hoped he'd be safe.
As Alice knelt in the sand, Sytry loomed over her and faced the monster, however, a flash of red stopped her from moving to attack. Valefor appeared from his pokeball beside them and without a word ran forward towards the flying monster, leaving Sytry to protect Alice. Once closer to the other attacking pokemon, Valefor stopped and braced himself before letting out a rumbling growl, a purple light beginning to grow from within his jaws.
Valefor has entered the fight!
Valefor began charging Meteor Beam!

If there was ever a battle where Briar needed to be able to give her Pokemon proper commands, it would be against a giant Bug monster. It had already snatched up her Arcanine once. Unfortunately for Briar, she couldn't see a thing! The sandstorm it had whipped up was making it near impossible for her to make out what was going on. The best she could do was try to keep herself upright. If she fell there was a very good chance she was going to find herself snatched up and carried away like Slate had been. Knowing her luck she wouldn't be dropped. She had already survived one giant monster already and she wasn't about to die to a second! Since she couldn't help Slate, she decided to try to help Cypress instead. The older woman looked way more capable than she was but that wasn't going to stop her from trying to help her stay upright anyway! She needed to do something so she could pretend she was useful. If nothing else it would keep them close together. They would be harder to grab that way. She was near blinded by the sand in her eyes but she still managed to find and grab on to Cypress's arm. If she wanted to try to go to their Bugs she wouldn't hesitate to follow along with her.
Back with Slate and Natsu, the Arcanine snapped at the monster as it swiped the Zoroark next to him. The bite ended up missing but the burst of flames that followed hit it dead on. He wanted to return to Briar after but the Zoroark appeared to have been stunned by the attack that hit him. He kind of owed him for trying to help him. It was Arcanine's turn to play the role of meat shield. At least until Natsu could return to his own trainer. He heard enough humans around now. She had to be there somewhere.
