Mysterious Invitations! (Enigmatic Tower 2024)

Reports of a strange invitation going around with registered trainers have been flooding in from everywhere. These invitations haven't been seen in a long time, but they come out of no where and posses a strange ability with some kind of magic.

Upon breaking the seal and gazing upon these words, you must already sense the gravity of what lies ahead. Know that this is not a mere correspondence, but a summons. I, the master of this tower—the sovereign of the realm of shadows—have singled you out. By reading this, you have already begun the journey, and now, I issue you a challenge. A challenge not of strength, but of your very essence. I challenge you to face the deepest corners of your mind, where your fears reside. To confront the darkness that festers in your heart, where dread breeds, and where nightmares are born and take root. The shadows that cling to me thrive on what you fear most. Here—in my tower—there is no solace, no safe haven. Here, I invite you to step into a reality woven from shadows, where the dark does not hide from the light, but devours it. This place is my solace, a domain where every whisper is laced with malice, where every shadow has weight and meaning. I invite you to test your will against mine.

There are thirteen levels to this tower. Thirteen floors, each a manifestation of your greatest fears. You must complete each labor to progress, for only by conquering your fear will you earn the right to ascend. Do not think of this as a mere trial of endurance. This is a trial of the soul. Your mind will be tested to its very limits, your body pushed to the brink of collapse. You may think you are strong. You may believe you possess courage. But know that here, in the heart of my realm, such notions will be shattered. Strength fades. Courage falters. Only those who can confront the deepest recesses of their own being—their truest fears—can hope to stand a chance.

And so, I leave you with a single question, the only question that matters: will you accept my challenge?

Things to know:

• The Tower will be open as of the posting of this thread, however the tower will be close at Midnight on November 30th. This date may be extended at the discretion of the mods.
• To enter the Tower, your character must have their starter and have left the Professor's lab.
• You may enter and leave the tower at any time and come back any time. However, you will only be able to return on the 1st floor, but will not have to battle the boss anymore. (if you would like an in story reason for this it can be discussed)
• Every character must travel the tower in order, and post 3 travel posts regardless of HMs.
• You may catch as many Pokemon as you please on each floor, but the bosses are uncatchable.
• You may team up with as many other characters as you like, and battle the bosses accordingly, regardless of which path they are on (see below)
• You may enter the tower with any or all characters you would like.
• All dice rolls should be posted in this thread and labeled accordingly.
• If your character wouldn't normally "accept" the challenge, but you would like them to partake. Please speak with White Prince Of Wonderland for the contingency plan.

In addition to the rules of the previous tower entries, we now how fun new possible path for you!

• These story rules are completely, however should you choose this path, these are the guidelines you must follow.
• Your trainer will find themselves on Floor 1 like normal, however their Pokemon will be now scattered amongst the many floors of the tower, and your trainer must now venture up the power to rescue them!
• The Pokemon will be placed on the floors dependent on their type. If they are duel types, you may pick which floor they will be. If the Pokemon's typing doesn't have a floor, please reach out to White Prince Of Wonderland for a resolution.
• Your trainer must have at least one Pokemon minimum with them as they arrive on the first floor.
• You can take as many Pokemon with your trainer as you choose, however normal party restrictions are still in place (6 Pokemon maximum)
• While the Pokemon are lost, you will may have 6 Pokemon in your active party gaining posting exp, even if they are not physically with their trainer.
• If you leave the tower before completing it, it is your choice if your character gets all of their Pokemon back, or if they are stuck in the tower for you to return to later.

• These story rules are completely, however should you choose this path, these are the guidelines you must follow. However it is your choice if you follow a normal path or lose your Pokemon.
• Your character will wake up on the first floor but they will find that they have been transformed into a Pokemon of your choice at any evolution (no legendary, no ultra beasts, no paradox, no mega evolution)
• Your character's Pokemon level will be based off of their obedience level (if you have two badges your charcater may be level 1-30.) You may select their move sets based off of their level up set. No TMs, HMs, Egg moves, Breed moves, or Transfer Moves.
• They can be at any evolution of your choice, regardless of level. (IE they can be a level 10 Volcarona)
• Your trainer can assist in wild encounters, however trainers can only join the boss battles if all their Pokemon have all been knocked out.
• This Pokemon form will only take place within Darkrai's Tower, once they leave they will return back to their normal human form.
