 In the south east and deep within the forest that makes up the southern area of Sinnoh, a lake resides among the trees. Like the others that can be found in the Sinnoh Region, this lake is just as important as any major city landmark. Lake Valor, like Lake Verity in the west and Lake Acuity in the north is said to be tied to the myth of the creation of the essence of spirit in the Pokemon world and is considered a sacred spot to those who know of it's lore. Although, unlike the other lakes in the region, Lake Valor has actually been cultivated as a popular tourist spot with a small community that thrives around it's shores. Here the Hotel Grand Lake can be found and other five star establishments that make up this community.

Elfana Aroway Had she not had a reservation, Elfana was convinced she would have been thrown out of the hotel. She had a hard enough time just getting them to believe she was actually the one who reserved the room. She hadn't thought her appearance was that bad. The first thing she did upon entering her room was toss her stuff on to the bed and disappear into the bathroom. A long, hot shower was in order. By the time she joined her Pokemon out in the main room, her skin was a bright shade of red from how harshly she had scrubbed it. She was spotless though. Her old clothing was abandoned in the bag her Pokemon's treats and toys previously occupied. She would end up throwing them out in the morning. Getting them clean again was far more effort than it would be worth. She ended up sleeping through the rest of the night. Traveling as much as she was had really messed up her sleep "schedule". The doctor was almost sleeping like a normal person! Almost. The sun wasn't even up when she checked out of the hotel the next morning. Sinnoh

Elfana Aroway Elfana was starting to feel like she had backtracked more in Sinnoh than she had any other region. Every other town it felt like she would have to turn around and pass back through the previous area to get to where she needed to go next. Needless to say, she was glad her trip around the world was almost over. She hadn't minded Sinnoh so far but what started off as a fun vacation was finally starting to feel like a chore. Traveling was okay but it had to be in short bursts. She wasn't sure if she would be able to deal with it for extended periods of time. Yet she still had an entire region to get through again after she was done with the event. Somehow that sounded worse. She hoped that feeling would let up after she had finished traveling through Sinnoh. The doctor was pretty sure she was just annoyed with how much walking she had left to do still. Sinnoh
