Carved deep into an outcropping of rock and mountain that makes up the very northern tip of the Sinnoh Region, past Snowpoint City, is a sacred temple known to the locals as the Snowpoint Temple. Little is known about this temple and what it stood for in history, what culture it might have supported or what it was built for, as scientists have had very little success in trying to discern the ancient runes and artifacts that remain inside. On the outside carved from stone and rock, the entrance to this temple shaped by pillars and arches has started to crumble over time, leaving only small traces for archeologists to examine. On the inside however, everything has remained preserved and in tact underneath what some have described as an impenetrable layer of ice. Spanning for miles underground and into the mountain are the corridors and hallways that make up the temple, but they are forever covered in a thick layer of ice and blankets of snow making it near to impossible to navigate the temple effectively.
