 "A City that Reaches for the Sky."
Aspertia City is a small city situated in southwestern Unova and serves as another landing point for new trainers in Unova, or trainers new to Unova. The settlement exists on Unova's western strip of land, and is surrounded by forest. The entrance to the city is through Route 19 to its north. Aspertia City contains some prominent areas of interest such as the Aspertia Gym, a lookout, and a Pokémon Center. It is a newly developed area containing modern buildings and houses. The lookout is a platform built onto a hill at the city's northmost point. There are stairs, which ascend to an observation deck hosting a green lamppost. The lookout overlooks a view of a scenic landscape featuring trees, a lake in the foreground, and a mountain range in the background.
{ Aspertia City Gym (Click)}Cheren is the official Gym Leader of Aspertia City's Gym. As a Gym Leader, he specializes in Normal-type Pokémon, and he also gives the Basic Badge to Trainers who defeat him, along side Lenora. Cheren is new to his position as a gym leader, though he makes sure to give it his all. After securing his position, there was heavy talk about him replacing Lenora as a Gym Leader due to giving out the same badges and same typing. However, thanks to both hers and Cheren's tough disposition, they all were allowed to keep their gyms and give out the same badge. Outside of battle, Cheren works as a teacher at the Aspertia Trainer School, and spends most of his time teaching new trainers how to care for Pokemon, battle, and even how to be a coordinator. Cheren strives to be the best he can be, and the strongest he can be. He has even traveled through Unova's league. He managed to get to the Elite four, but wasn't able to finish the league, and has never given up his dream of being Champion. With all this, he has learned a lot giving him the experience to pass on to those learning in the Training School. He wants the best for his students, and wants to help them anyway he can. That being said, He has been described as being very judgmental, and impatient by his fellow League members, and even Professor Juniper has publicly remarked that he is "...very honest, but is difficult to work with." The gym actually isn't a gym like the rest in Unova. Cheren can be found in the Trainer School most often, and either him or the gym trainer will lead the Challenger to the Look out point of Aspertia. The large flat area opens up into two battle fields, which is fairly plain compared to most other gyms. Each battle field is made of stone, and is fairly versatile. Being the highest point of the city, it has a beautiful view of the city, and often draws a crowd during battles. Off to the side, there is a lifted area that Cheren and his students stand and watch the Gym Trainer battle before his own actual battle. Pokejob: Shipping Company | Tier 9 | 8/8 Ideal Pokemon | 2/10 PostsWhile Emiri certainly hadn’t been planning on undertaking any kind of jobs or anything of the like while she was traveling through the regions, she was actually kind of happy to be able to be helping out in such a way for the Unova Region. No one was in dire need of these supplies, fortunately, it wasn’t as though this was a life or death situation as the gentleman from Nimbasa was sure to make clear, but while they were working on getting everything back on track with their deliveries and supply chain, these small assistances were doing him a great service. He had approached other trainers for other parts of the region and most were happy to oblige, and Emiri was happy to know that there were so many helpful individuals out there.
To make their trips as efficient as possible, Emiri flew with her entourage of delivery certified Pokemon far to the west where Aspertia city was, knowing then that they would head back east and then move north to deliver their packages one by one. Flix was the one carrying their package labeled for Aspertia City, that way he didn’t have to travel too terribly far with them and wear himself out, so Emiri and Charizard flew down with him to the Pokemon Center. The Nimbasa Pokemon Center had been making the other centers aware that there were going to be deliveries made, that way the deliveries were expected upon arrival. The yellow Flygon landed carefully with his box and Emiri helped him out of the makeshift harness that they had made to make it easier for him to carry, and with that she did also get her stamp from that Nurse Joy to complete both their delivery and the Pokemon Center. Aspertia City was the furthest point to the west of the Unova Region. Kira knew it was smarter to leave something like this for last, but she wanted to get it out of the way. The Town appeared to be in a sort of valley, so there wasn't much to see outside of the nature aspect. Plenty of wild birds flying around, but Kira wasn't worried about them. Anything that got a little too brave was quickly deterred by one of her dragons. They landed around noon, just in time for a nice lunch since they hadn't eaten breakfast. As they ate, the Nurse gave her a stamp for her book, and then they left shortly after.

Elfana Aroway Had she not been so focused on getting through the region without any further incidents, she would have visited the lookout and admired the scenery. The area around Aspertia City was beautiful even to her. As fun as it sounded, the stairs proved to be far too worrying. One of her Pokemon could fall and she would have no way of healing them. It was a risk she wasn't willing to take. Protecting her team was her first priority. The Pokemon Centers- as much as she hated to admit it- were relatively safe.
