Off the Southern coast of Kanto lies a pair of islands, believed to be twins of some sort because of their almost identical shape that you can see from a distance. These islands are known as the Seafoam Islands, but where from a distance they may look identical, up close they could not be any more different. The eastern island is a warm and tropical resort town, part of the tourist route that many will take to get to Cinnabar Island, or for those Kanto exclusives that like a place to get away for a while. It thrives with beach goers and non stop activity with little to no wild Pokemon life where as it's twin island is very much the opposite. The western island is completely uninhabited by humans and is home to many different species of Pokemon considering it's root geography. The island is not so much an island but rather an entire series of underground caverns and water tunnels that have yet to be fully explored if for the soul fact that the further and further you travel down into the caves and tunnels the water becomes colder and the rocks are replaced with solid ice as the temperatures drop due to being so far below sea level.

Oceana moods can be as changeable as the sea itself, but she's usually very calm, peaceful, and mellow. She loves the water and water Pokemon, and if she's away from the water for too long she gets pretty touchy. She lived her entire life in the on the Island, she spends all her time in the out doors, and soaking up the sun. On stage, she can be as sweet and gentle as waves lapping on the sandy shores, or as harsh as the stormy seas. Out side of battle she is fairly calm, and reserved. Win or lose she's happy to have had the experience of the contest and will often offer to have lunch with her opponents at a nice sushi bar or beach side restaurant.
