Celadon City

{Celedon City Gym (Click)}Erika is the Gym Leader of Celadon City's Gym, known officially as the Celadon Gym. She hands out the Rainbow Badge to Trainers who defeat her. She is known as "The nature-loving Princess!" Erika is ladylike, and a teacher of flower-arranging. She is a quiet girl, and usually keeps to herself in her Green House of a Gym, but she's well-known in Celadon City. Erika only collects Pokémon if she considers them attractive, though her definition of attractive seems to include varieties only a botanist could love. It is noted that She also tends to doze off quite a bit, some believe that she is narcoleptic while others simply believe she is affected by the powders given off by many the grass Pokémon in her Gym. But this does not hinder her ability to put up a good battle. She often dresses in elegant kimonos, even if she were merely gardening. She could be considered as one of the most beautiful Gym Leaders in Kanto, and she often likes too dress as such. But she makes sure she isn't seen just as a pretty face, and holds classes on how to care for plants, and grass types, It's known that she seems to prefer teaching female students, often stating that her male students aren't gentle enough. As well as, she has a strong dislike toward fire types which seemed to emerge years ago when her original gym burned to the ground. When she isn't in her Gym gardening or battling, she can be found napping near the fountain in the Cerulean City's center, or working in her Perfume Shop as the manager, which appears to resemble the bloom of a Gloom.
Her Gym is quite the beautiful sight. From the outside, it looks like a very large green house, which heavily stands out against the bustling city. The building is a dome, and make entirely of glass, though for the most part cannot be seen into due to the thousand of plants that are growing up the sides of the walls. The inside of the gym is even more breath taking, if you can bare it. Once entering the Gym, the air immediately shifts too hot and very humid, as well as had quite a strong aroma from the many flowers and grass types that live here. The trainers will have to venture down a pathway through what would almost feel like a jungle of plants, with trainers, care takers, and maybe even a class could be found along the way, all tending to the plant life. Once arriving at the actual battling stadium, it seems rather unorthodox. The area is very open, and clear, but there still seems to be no floor. It all is just the earth that the green house was built upon. The battle field is on the ground, while there are two short platforms across from each other, both over grown with plants. The field is lined with plants, and Erika has learned from past experiences and has trainers on hand with water in case anything catches fire.
