 Professor Kukui is a Pokémon Professor from the Alola region, as well as the founder of Alola's Pokémon League. He is a Professor of many firsts. He's the first Professor to have the Trainer class Pro Wrestler, and he is the first Professor to hold the title of League Champion while at the same time as serving as a Professor. He specializes in Pokémon attacks, and where these powerful abilities come from within. He is fairly young for a professor, like those of Juniper, and Sycamore, but like them he takes his job seriously regardless, if not a bit more laid back. Unlike all the other Professors, he has no lab assistants. He conducts his own tests himself, though some local islanders, or curious beings, volunteer to help him run experiments to really test where these powers come from. He is happily married to another Professor, Professor Burnet who studies the relationships and other dimensions. They often help each other out but respect each other's field of work. While he is a serious professor, his lab is rather... unconventional. It appears to be almost like a shack on the beach. But once inside it looks a bit more like a lab. He is a Pokemon fanatic himself, and keeps many pets at his lab; A Poliwhirl, Murkrow, Snubull, Corsola, three Luvdisc, Rockruff, and Stufful. He makes a point to stay in his lab, he does in fact live there, to help those starting off, how ever there are times when he seems to disappear and Burnet even claims to not know where he goes. Rumor has it that he is the Pro Wrestler "The Masked Royal" and holds quite a resemblance to the wrestler. He denies these rumors.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIEA figure appeared walking down the road. Rex nudged Lucky, who was drowsing upright in his chair with his head lolling on a shoulder. Together they rose and set off towards the figure. They met half way. First Rex performed a complicated handshake with the Man, and then Lucky repeated the same gesture with him. In silence, they returned to the table the two had been sitting at minutes before and took their seats. They looked at him as he adjusted himself in his seat. "You said a week." Rex broke the silence, looking at their Leader. "What took you so long?"Lucky looked from Rex to Magnus, obviously not sure how he would react. They knew what Magnus had been out there doing, gathering rare and potentially dangerous Pokemon. They knew he wanted to track her down. To find her and... well, they weren't sure what would happen after that. They just knew it wouldn't be pretty. She had insulted him, she had ruined him, and he wasn't the sort of person to have mercy on her or those who had tried to keep him from her. For a few moments, everything was tense and silent as Magnus looked at Rex. He grinned and laughed, something quickly repeated by the other two. "I found the Turtonator I've been hunting. Like I told you, I've spent months searching for one with just the right nature. I didn't have any Pokemon to battle it with, so I went to a Pokemon Center and stole one. It was easy enough to catch after that." So, that explained the delay then. He had asked them to wait for him here on the outskirts of this crappy little town without an explanation. They were loyal to him though, and did so with minimal griping. "Right. So why are we here, Boss?" Lucky asked. Magnus grinned again before leaning forward in his seat. "I'm joining the Pokemon League, Boys. We're here to choose my Starter Pokemon." At this, the pair of Lucky and Rex exchanged confused looks.
Ten minutes later, the trio of Men stood outside of Kukui's lab. This was the part of the plan Jasper was least confident of. There were so many variables, and so many ways this could backfire on him. Naturally, everybody on the Islands knew who Kukui was. He tended to stick his nose into everything, even those things that didn't concern him. The Professor also had an annoying habit of knowing everyone who lived on these Islands. Jasper was aware Kukui would know who he was, and what he had done.
Jasper broke away from the other two and walked through the front door of what looked to be a shack on the beach. It was nothing to bat an eye at from the outside, but on the inside you could tell what sort of person lived inside. It was a research lab set up in an out of place location, but a research lab all the same. "Kukui." He said with a grin, leaning against the door frame with his arms folded over his chest. "I'm here for a Litten." Every bit as y and arrogant as those who spread rumors around behind his back would claim, he waited for the shirtless punk to respond.

gravity_resistant Professor KukuiKukui was spending a quite day in his lab. Unlike most, Kukui was the only one that worked in his lab. Aside from his wife, Professor Burnet, who popped in from time to time to assist, how ever she did have her own lab. He left his windows open so he could listen to the ocean and the wingulls as he worked on his latest thesis and hypothesis. He liked the ambient noise of the ocean to work with, along side the pattering paws of his Rockruff, Snubull, and Stufful running around and playing. He didn't pay any mind to the foot steps he heard, assuming it were people along the beach. Only when he heard the door open, and his make did he start to stand up. "Hey there!" He called out, and then turned around to see whom it was. It took him a moment, but he soon realized who it was. As the lead professor of the Alola Region, he always made sure to keep up with the news, as well as keep up with the population and ensure they're welcomed and alright. He had learned about a police report about this young man, of course from their local Officer Jenny. Kukui was a fairly friendly, and forgiving man so he kept his cheerful expression. This was a visitor after all, maybe he needed some help. Before he could ask what the male wanted, he spoke up saying he was here for a Litten. Kukui paused for a moment. The male was reported for causing harm to the young woman he was dating, and as a married man he found it hard to be cheerful. But he had to think, the male was never charged... but with the open case they had, he couldn't ignore it. "I'm sorry... But I can't ignore the current reports I've received about you" the Professor spoke, he was professional in his town as he spoke. "With what I've read... I couldn't in good conscious allow you to have one of my starter Pokemon. " He explained. Kakui couldn't allow it, even with the possibility of the male abusing the Pokemon. If he was proven innocent of course he could come back for one, but now, he had to use his better judgement. Suddenly there was a crash in the other room, as he began hearing his Rockruff start barking as more crashes then followed. It would seem his Stufful and Snubull started a fight. "If you give me one sec, I'll be right back to explain further." He told Jasper, as she hurried into the other room, as various 'Stop it' and 'Calm down, it's alright' and 'Ouch!' could be hard in the other room as he tried to pry his Stufful off of Snubull.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE When Kukui denied his request, Jasper's arrogant grin turned to a scowl at the back of the Professor's head. Kukui disappeared into another room to deal with the disturbance. He didn't like being told no. Besides, what did this blowhard know? He looked around the room and quickly found the Pokeball he was looking for - the one containing the Litten he was just denied. Nearby sat a Pokedex. He reached his hand out for that as well, but froze. That was foolish. They could be tracked, it could be traced back to him. He couldn't afford to be reckless.
"Did you get it?" Lucky asked when his boss came walking out of the Lab.
Jasper smirked as he tossed the Pokeball up, letting it fall only to snatch it out of the air with the same hand. "I always get what I want." It was plain to all of them that he meant more than just a forbidden Pokemon. He would get what he wanted in the end, no matter who he had to go through to do it.
The three Men turned and walked towards the nearby town. "Where to next?" Asked Rex, walking at a quick pace to keep up with the longer legs of the other two.
"It's time I spend some time with my future in-laws. Get to know each other better." He remarked, leaving dark implications in their wake.

Llorona Braithwaite Llorona hated everything about her life right now. Between her lost baggage on the flight in, the terrible reception on arrival, and the fact that she was now carrying her very expensive heels in hand so that she could actually traverse the beach - the dark-haired woman was just about ready to give up on this so-called 'adventure' before it even began. "Who? Who the hell puts their pokemon Lab on a beach in a shack?" She muttered to herself, taking step after step through the sand while trying to ignore the bright sun and the burning in her toes. This place was nothing like her hometown, and so far from what she could tell, this quite possibly the worst region she could have been sent to, especially since she hadn't seen a single shopping mall since they'd arrived. As the woman made her way down the beach Llorona reminded herself of at least one small, metaphorical ray of sunshine in her day - She had left her phone with the rest of her belongings from the night prior on accident and as a result, did not have to deal with all of the phone calls and texts her older brother had probably slammed her with by now. "Almost there... I think? God if I am walking in the wrong direction..." She trailed off as she rounded the last stretch of beach, spotting the building she had seen the night before while browsing her phone and heaving a sigh of relief. Truth be told she had given very little thought to which of the three little monsters she would take to get this whole thing over with, but if battling here was anything like it had been in the combat prep course at her high school she doubted it truly mattered. "Hello? Cy? Professor..uh, Ku-kai? Kukui?" She cringed, knowing full and well she had butchered the name from the website but stepping inside anyway. Of course, she tried her best to immediately apologize to the professor for her mispronunciation before scowling at her brother and turning her attention to getting what she needed. "If I am being super honest I don't really know how this whole thing works. Never been interested in walking around and getting gross just so I can prove I have a strong pet but... Yeah, I am here for a starter Pokemon? So I can take the gym challenge? I'll take whichever one gets me out of here fastest. . . Rowlet I think it is?" She asked quizzically, that particular one being the only thing she had managed to read through regarding the Alola region trainer challenge before falling asleep on herself. Elfy SorukaNyokiProfessor KukuiKukui had been made aware that there was a young man waiting outside for him. But the Professor didn't want to try and rush him, or force him to come inside. So the Professor went about his business. Things had been rather busy, thanks to current events that had been happening around Alola, so he kept to work, more so then usual. He was wearing his usual attire, a lab coat unbuttons and shirtless. It didn't seem so unusual do the fact that his lab was literally on a beach. His hair was still in it's usual bun, however a bit messier then usual. His many pets played and wandered around his lab, as he remained at his desk for once, seemingly focused and working hard. He heard the male voice, and he looked up form his computer. It took him a moment, but he offered the male a friendly smile. "Ah, are you ready?" he asked, but the male soon answered that the young woman he had been waiting for hasn't arrived. He nodded to him, assuming he might have wanted to wait inside. He then spoke about claiming a started and bond while he waited. Kukui gave him another bright smile as he stood up. "That's a great idea, Cousin." Kukui told him, moving over towards the table of starters. It was always a pleasure seeing new trainers, no matter how old or young, interested in bonding with Pokemon. It's one of the many reasons why he enjoyed doing what he did. "You got it! Litten is the fire starter." He began, moving towards the table, and lifted the Pokeball and held it out towards the male. "Here's the lLitten, and take these to help you out," He told the male digging into his lab coat and pulled out a few potions and pokeballs to help him out.
Soon after he he allowed the male to collect his items, a young woman walked in. She asked for 'Cy' and then himself, to which Kukui could only assume she was the person he had been waiting for. "Ah, I'm happy you could make it, Cousin." he greeted with a friendly tone. It took her a try, but she did get his name correct the second time around. It wasn't uncommon for those from another reason to mispronounce his name. She got it right, and she tried, so he didn't want to make a mention to it and embarrass the young trianer-to-be. But she quickly then apologized and giving a dirty look to the male. "It's alright, Cuz, You got it right, I'm Professor Kukui." He explained to her. He moved towards the table of Pokemon starters to help her out, but she soon began on about how she didn't know much about it, just that she wants to battle gyms, and get out of her. She didn't exactly have a rude tone, or trying to be short with him, like she said she was just being honest. Despite that, Kukui glanced to the male for a second. "Uhh..." He hesitated before getting back to it. "Well, okay yes, Rowlet is the Grass Starter." He began, reaching towards the Pokemon. She was being honest, and really showed no bad trait so far, so he was happy to help her out, despite her honesty. "There are loads of ways to when a gym battle. Not only just to train up to have a strong partner." He explained to her, holding out her Pokeball. Which was true, you could out smart them from time to time, or maybe have really strong defenses. "It all depends on what works for you and your new partner." He told her as he began to pull out the same items he had given 'Cy.' "These should help you get started on your way to become the trainer you would like to be." he relayed to her.(Sorry for the delay!) Llorona Braithwaite"Hey thanks, wish I could say the same but. . ." She replied to the professor, eying Cy and the Pokeball he now held with only the very slightest bit of curiosity. 'I bet he is loving this.' Llorona thought, looking for any sign of pride or joy on her brother's face only to be broken from her thoughts when the professor spoke to her, causing the woman to redden just slightly and wriggle her nose. He didn't seem too upset with the misuse of his name, so Llorona decided not to dwell on that, instead watching impatiently while the professor started off towards his table onto to stop and force her heart into skipping a beat. the dark haired female was not so well off when it came to communication - but she also wasn't stupid, realizing immediately that she probably hadn't come off as the best person to give a free Pokemon away to. As a result, she corrected her posture, forcing the cutest smile she could manage and speaking through her teeth. "I'm sorry professor. I did not mean to be rude.I absolutely 'love' Pokemon and I am just so excited to get out there and... start my journey or whatever." Honestly she couldn't have sounded more sarcastic if she had tried, but the male still provided her with an assortment of things, causing the woman to sigh in relief. If she had failed on her first day she would never be allowed back into her home. "Thaaank you! I promise to use these responsibly and... yeah, sure. I will make sure I keep the little thing happy so it can fight plenty!" At least her gratitude had been sincere. Once she had stowed all but the Pokeball containing her new partner into her bag, the green-eyed woman looked over at her much larger sibling, nodding expectantly to the door and excusing herself without another word. She'd been thinking it from the moment she got to this godforsaken region and doubted highly her mantra would change - The sooner she got her lug-headed brother to give up and tell their mother she had done well, the sooner she could go home and resume her career.  Grim marched along the road like a man on a mission. In fact, he was. The sooner he got started as a trainer the sooner he could be rid of this region and those in it. Well.. with the exception of a few pokemon he was tempted to try and catch before he made his great escape, but he hadn't decided one way or the other on that just yet. All he knew was he wanted to be gone, and this was his first step. He tried to ignore Leer coiling about his neck like a living scarf as he made his way up the path to the lab. She had been stuck to him like glue since he took her from the hatchery a few days ago, and although it was undeniably cute, it was also rather meddlesome.Grim knocked on the door and waited a moment before letting himself in, his gaze taking in the lab with a few quick movements. Chaotic. It wasn't what he might have expected of a lab, but he knew better than to judge based on that. The professor was well known, compared to him Grim was nothing. He looked at the man in the lab coat and shifted on his feet for a moment before giving him a polite smile."I was told this was the place to get our starter pokemon? I was interested in a Rowlet." |

MochaIt had been a quiet morning thus far at the famed, and certainly humble, laboratory for Professor Kukui, but somehow the good professor had a feeling he would see some new trainers coming in to begin their journies. It was one of his favorite parts of the job and always exciting, being able to give new trainers that first step into the world, giving them the first stone to building the rest of their life, should they chose to take it of course. Kukui wasn't surprised then to see a new face entering into the laboratory that day, turning with a wide smile at the sound of his door opening. He was always open to guests, whomever may come through, and he offered a big wave for them to come on in.
"Alola! How's it, cousin" Kukui beamed, greeting the visitor smiling too to the small Pokemon that was wrapped around his neck. The young man inquired about a starter Pokemon, looking for a Rowlet, and Kukui was eager to oblige.
"Sure is, you're right where you need to be," he answered heartily, and he didn't hesitate to move from his visitor and grab a couple of things around his facility in order to fulfill the request of the new trainer to be.
"Alright, I have a Rowlet for sure that's looking out for a good journey! Here is a few items to get you on your way too," Kukui relayed, handing out a small set of items.

 Alice walked down the path leading to the professor's laboratory, a grim look shadowing her normally pretty features. She had no idea what she was doing. Thanks to the kindness of naive people, she had managed to get a lift to the Hoenn region where, she hoped, she could get accepted as a researcher in training. Of the famous Pokemon Researchers, Prof. Kukui's area of expertise interested her the most. Plus, he seemed the easiest besides maybe Prof. Oak to deal with.
Beside her, a small fox-like pokemon with a large tail walked with her, occasionally glancing up at her as if uncertain. Alice had rescued it from a group of boy's that were tormenting it near the docks when she first arrived, and for some reason it had decided to follow her. Though, to Alice it seemed as if it somewhat regretted it's decision. Not that it had a choice any longer after deciding to let Alice capture it. She still didn't know what to name the thing, but that could wait for later. All that mattered was that she was officially a trainer. Kukui had to accept her if she already even had her first pokemon, right?
Alice knocked on the lab door and slowly opened it to peek in.
"Hello? Prof. Kukui? I was hoping you could help me become a researcher, since you're the best in your field.." She called out hesitantly, her Grimbit also peeking in from behind her legs curiously.

MochaSpending a quiet morning in his lab, all of the windows open to let in the soft sea breezes and the crisp clean air, Kukui was pleased to hear a knock at his door, a visitor was always welcome at his facility! He got up eagerly, the door was open as per always, so he smiled widely as a young girl poked in around the shape of the door.
"Hey! Come on in cuz," he greeted, waving broadly for his new visitor to come on inside, asking about becoming a researcher! Kukui smiled even brighter if that were possible, he was absolutely beaming at the idea of someone wanting to become a researcher with him!
"Researching with me? Hey, that'd be great, what an awesome start to an awesome day," Kukui beamed, he had even just been working on some updates to his program, this was so exciting!
"If you're ready, you're good in my book, let's get started right now! I've got some things that I need reports on, you know? All stuff that will help deepen the study and understanding of how Pokemon in Alola adapt for their environment, and that's where you come in! So follow through with some basic stuff, document what you discover in a journal or a video even with details of what you learned, and you'll send it back my way so we can make up an awesome research section, yeah," Kukui explained.
"The Alola region is waiting for you and your Pokemon pal there! What I need you to do first is go out with your friend and capture a new friend, and work with them for a bit to see if they can learn any new attacks to grow stronger! And you know what, I've got a Pokedex and some supplies already ready, so it's all yours if you want it!"

Alice gave a smile as Prof. Kukui invited her in. She tentatively stepped inside and took a look around, secretly surprised by the lab. It was more of a house than a lab, and could use some cleaning, but it was oddly relaxing and homely.
Almost as soon as she had shut the door behind her she was swept away by a torrent of words from the professor, who seemed quite excited at the idea of an assistant. This was why she chose him, so easy and friendly, the type of people you could fold over before they even know what was happening. She nodded along to his words and put on a serious face as she listened to what she needed to do next.
"New friend, new move. Got it! Thank you!" Excited, she gave a quick wave and headed back out the door to start her tasks, Grimbit trotting beside her. The little pokemon glanced back at the lab and let out a small sound, apparently sad to leave. It had liked Kukui. "You'll see him a lot, so buck up." Alice commented, glancing down at the Grimbit. "That being said, you need a name. How about... Nyx?" Alice said the first name to come to mind, but the pokemon seemed content with it. With that out of the way, Alice pushed onward towards Iki Town.

Normally the travel from Malie City to Iki Town would take literally forever, but her father was nice enough to at least help her get there. After all, she wouldn't be able to start the so-promised Pokemon journey without getting to Kukui's lab first - due to the lack of said 'Pokemon'. They traveled in silence on Spencer's Tropius, but at least they reached the town without any problems. There, after bidding a farewell to her father, Clarissa left her bag in the Pokemon Center and went straight to the professor's lab.
There was no hesitation in her movement nor gestures. She knew what she needed to do, and what to gain out of that. Riss spend most of the previous night debating on which Pokemon to pick.. and she settled on the Rowlet. Sure, Popplio was way cuter, but her mother owned a Primarina - and while he was the nicest of Bethany's whole team, he still reminded her of her home, which she wanted to avoid in a journey. Litten was fine too, but she really didn't like its final evolution. So, Rowlet was the best option!
Well, it wasn't that hard to find the laboratory - Iki Town was really small, and the lab was quite literally just a shack. It wasn't very professional, but that's not her idea, so whatever. At least she looked somewhat presentable, even if it was just for getting a first Pokemon. Rissa fixed her dress ever so slightly before entering the.. lab-shack-place.
She must give the professor that - the inside actually did looked like a lab, if she ever saw one! There were few Pokemons around, but none of them looked like the 'starters'. Maybe that was too avoid chaos and trainers taking them all without permission. She didn't know, nor did she care - she just wanted one of them.
"Hello, professor?" she didn't know if Kukui had any assistants or not (no one told her, as she didn't even ask about it) and so she just called from the doorway. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything or something, but I want to ask if I can take a Rowlet?"
There, she asked and she was even nice at that. Sure, she will probably never meet him again, but a good first impression wouldn't hurt. "Your pretty smile is a monster, and your beauty is empty"

sharkeepIt had been a quiet morning thus far at the famed, and certainly humble, laboratory for Professor Kukui, but somehow the good professor had a feeling he would see some new trainers coming in to begin their journies. It was one of his favorite parts of the job and always exciting, being able to give new trainers that first step into the world, giving them the first stone to building the rest of their life, should they chose to take it of course. Kukui wasn't surprised then to see a new face entering into the laboratory that day, turning with a wide smile at the sound of his door opening. He was always open to guests, whomever may come through, and he offered a big wave for them to come on in.
"Alola! How's it, cousin" Kukui beamed, greeting the visitor with an offer of a warm handshake. She seemed a little closed off, but that was nothing he couldn't help with a bright smile and a welcome handshake, he wanted her to feel like she could fit right in! She spoke a bit stiffly, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything, but this was what he lived for!
"Interrupting? Nah, this is the most exciting part of being the professor, yeah? Getting to set up new trainers with their new partners to start an awesome adventure together," he answered heartily, and he didn't hesitate to move from his visitor and grab a couple of things around his facility in order to fulfill the request of the new trainer to be.
"Alright, I have a Rowlet for sure that's looking out for a good journey and an awesome partner! Here is a few items to get you on your way too," Kukui relayed, handing out a small set of items.

Oh, wow, that was easy. Really, was that enough? Just ask the Pokemon professor for a Pokemon and they hand you one? Well, she wasn't going to complain! That was actually really helpful, as she wasn't in a mood for tests, extra tasks and quizes to prove that she is worthy the starter. So, she will take it, absolutely. And not just the Pokemon, but the insane amount of Potions, PokeBalls and a brand new PokeDex too!
"Why, thanks you professor!" she nodded in delight, gracefully but not too hastily taking all the goods, and putting them in her bag. She looked at the PokeBall containing her starter, still wondering about it - was that a good choice? Rowlet's and the first evolution looked a bit goofy, but it will surely be useful anyways, right? And, well, it was a decent Grass type, and those at least reminded her of her father. And she decided that it was enough for her to believe it was a good idea.
"That's a lot more than enough! Thanks you again, and have a good day!" well, it was important to be polite, right? Even if she probably won't see him ever again, Clarissa didn't want him to change his mind and ask to hand the stuff back. It wasn't happening! But she also knew she would have no chance, and instead settled on being 'nice'. At least for now.
Even though the lack of lab assistants might imply something else, she could only assume that she shouldn't outstay her welcome, and after bidding the necessary farewells, she left the shack-laboratory, back to the Iki Town. "Your pretty smile is a monster, and your beauty is empty"

She looked back at the boat to see her friend still in the boat. "Are you coming?" The Mr. Mime looked over the side of the boat and sighed dramatically. Then, he climbed up onto the side of the boat and started bending his knees in preparation for a dive. "I don't think that's such a good idea!" She called, but Mr. Mime didn't listen. The Captain was watching, clearly amused by their antics. He'd been treated to a number of entertaining bits from these two along the way.
Then the Mime jumped up high, performing a perfect dive toward the water. Only when he made contact with the ocean, it was like he hit solid ground. Despite the movement of the ocean, he remained upside down and motionless for a few moments until his body tipped over like a tree falling. Then he floated upon the waves to shore. The Captain was roaring with laughter, and even Riley laughed as she applauded her friend.
Shaking his head as he got back to his feet, the Mr. Mime took a sweeping bow while the boat's engine came back to life. She could feel the warm sun baking down on them as she shouldered her bag and they walked up to the only shack on this beach. It seemed a very strange place for a Pokemon Professor to set up shop, but she'd heard Alola was as far from a 'normal' Region as it was possible to get.
She knocked on the door, and then entered the building. It was common practice for anyone to be able to enter the Laboratory of a Professor, but she still felt it polite. "Hello?" She called out as she let Mr. Mime pass and closed the door behind them. It was remarkably cool in the building compared to the heat and humidity of the tropical weather outside. She walked up to a huge tropical fish tank and peered into it. Having been distracted, she hadn't noticed the Professor's appearance. When he spoke, she jumped.
"Sorry, Professor. I didn't see you." She'd assumed he was out, and was just going to wait for him to come back. She had a warm and infectious smile on her face that could light up a room. "I travel the world performing, and I have seen so many amazing Pokemon, but I had to come all the way to Alola to ask you for a Popplio." Someone from her last circus had a Popplio, and it was such a fun-loving Pokemon who loved to perform. It really was perfect for her.

gravity_resistantProfessor Kukui had been racking his brain all morning, trying to figure out how a specific attack worked on the effected Pokemon. He knew he would have to actually run tests to see how it really effected a Pokemon, or person, but he wanted to make sure to have everything he needed first before he started running tests. He had been thinking so intently, he hadn't heard the ship dock near by, or even the young trainer that had entered his home, that doubled as his lab. He completely missed her hello, having assumed it was a coo of one of his many Pokemon. But it wasn't until his Poliwhirl tapped him on the back, did he look up in time to see the young woman get startled. Seeing the trainer to be didn't startle him, he gave her a friendly smile. "No need to apologize, Cousin," He told her, moving from his desk area as he moved closer to give her his attention. His Poliwhirl following him, and giving a friendly wave to the Mr. Mime. She seemed to have been a very happy and friendly person as well from her expression. "I'm happy you've gotten to see the world, That will definitely help you in your journey if you choose to travel through the league." He offered as he moved over to a near by counter and selected one of the Pokeballs. "I may not now what you perform, but hope I get to, But Popplio sounds like a nice choice." He explained. He had seen her shiny Mr. Mime, so he knew that she must have a great talent for performing. Primarina were wonderful on stage, so it was a good option. He held out her Pokeball as well as a few other items. "Here you go, as well as a few other items to get you started off. Just make sure to invite me to your next show." He told her. If she was a trainer starting on her journey he wanted the chance to really see her shine. Especially if she made it far in the league, he would have gotten to be there from the true start.
